1321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: July 02, 2015, 04:30:20 AM
It is so ironic.

We have, like, 50 cloud mining sites out there who scams, and doing it pretty obviously with lousy service.

We have less then 5 totally legit cloud mining sites, which works excellent and that actually lets you make money.

The majority of people goes for the scam sites.

It's common greed... If you can make ROI in 60 days with scrypt.cc, and on bit-x it'll take you 250 days, chances are you're going to pick scrypt.cc out of greed  Grin

I actually had some KHS on scrypt.cc, left them about a week before their ponzi collapsed. I got my initial money back, but nothing more than that... I invested in bit-x now, and hopefully they'll keep existing...
1322  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: My 10$ PP for your 8.50$ BTC on: July 01, 2015, 12:34:55 PM
Chances are slim anybody would be willing to do this. PP can be charged back for 180 days, so not a lot of guys will start a trade with somebody having 6 posts...

Try virwox to exchange PP to BTC, altough for $10, you'll probably pay a HUGE amount of fees...

Good luck!

1324  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Play Flappy Bird on your Android Phone and win FREE BTC! Faucet on: July 01, 2015, 08:46:21 AM
Wow, i don't play to flappybird to more time, is already active with more player?

if you can not play Flappy Bird, you can try another game, but this game is made in the same well from Bitplay, namely Bitcoin Crush Smiley
they have the same features, play tournaments and earn bitcoin Smiley

Sure, but the payout is lower  Wink
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many staking wallets is too much for a computer? on: July 01, 2015, 06:56:10 AM
I guess it will also depend on what you're using your computer for.

If you have a rasbpi, and only use it to stake, it won't be a problem if it's crawling... If it's on your workpc, even a slight decline in performance might be bad...
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MAGI XMG Proof of Interest 2015 II starts on 01-08-2015! Register is open!! on: July 01, 2015, 06:44:49 AM

1327  Economy / Services / cheap shared hosting, escrow allowed, from $2/month on: July 01, 2015, 06:41:34 AM
I'm renting out part of my dedicated box, and since i'm only a junior member, i'll accept full escrow:

How?
You deposit your monthlee fee + the escrow fee to the escrow at the beginning of the month, i create an account on my server ASAP. At the END of the month, the escrow releases the funds to me, UNLESS your site is offline more than 10% of the time due to technical issues caused by me (so misconfigurations on your end, forgotton passwords,.. are not a reason to deny payment). In the case the site is offline due to technical issues more than 10% of the time, the escrow sends the money back to you...
You have to use a (free, but reputable) tool to prove the offline time in case you don't trust me, no unsupported claims! I recommend https://uptimerobot.com/

Risked amount by you: the escrow fee  Grin

I accept all legal low to medium sized websites (yes, this includes adult). The only reasons i'll kick your site is if: your site has security issues that can compromise my server; your site has excessive load; you are doing something illegal on my host...

Every package will have access to the ispconfig controll panel, php/mysql, email, statistics, error pages, ftp, APS (automatic package installer), shared ipv4, dedicated ipv6,... BACKUPS should be taken by you, and are not automated by me. I'm not responsible for your data in case of a server failure.
I use the cloudflare nameservers, and i'll show you how to configure them if you chose to host your site(s) with me.

I'll propose 3 standard packages, but everything is customisable...
for $2 ()/month, you'll get enough for most beginning webmasters:
  • 120 Mb diskspace
  • 5 Gb B/W
  • 2 Mysql Database

for $5 ()/month, you'll get:
  • 1.5 Gb diskspace
  • 100 Gb B/W
  • 5 Mysql Database

for $15 ()/month, you'll get:
  • 5 Gb diskspace
  • 250 Gb B/W
  • 15 Mysql Database
1328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: July 01, 2015, 06:01:38 AM
NET is a good one... constant 6 hour stakes with built in wallet calculator so you can see stake approximation. You get 4 per day... no randomness and block size changing to compete... just good old fashion interest.

I'll look into it, sounds really nice, as long as it's an old and stable coin  Cheesy
1329  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for coders to work on a new startup on: June 30, 2015, 03:42:25 PM
I'm a unix sysadmin with more than enough experience in unix (AIX or solaris), linux (including LAMP setups), scripting in php/perl, databases (mysql, postgresql, oracle, db2,...)

My rates aren't really cheap, and depend greatly on the work. PM if you need my help  Grin
1330  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] [U3 Antminers] Intrest thread. on: June 30, 2015, 03:13:18 PM
I would love at least one, I am from the EU, so how would shipping be handled?

Grin Pefect, 2 EU members interested ATM. The more, the merrier...

I'm willing to spend around $50 for 2 U3's (shipping included), or $25 for 1 (shipping included), preferably with the PSU also included (so i don't have to shop around to find a compatible psu)

Btw, witch U3 batch are we talking about?
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's coordinate our contacts to merchants. Post a merchant contact info here. on: June 29, 2015, 12:52:25 PM
I'm impressed by your plan on living on bitcoin, online. I imagine it's a hard thing to do, involving lots of investigation and so on.

Maybe you can make a post with the services or ways you found useful for living on bitcoin that way.

For your suggestion. It migth help but it might not work too when they get a big bunch of requests at a time and then nothing anymore. They would know it's a created demand, not having to be natural.

I'm building a directory listing all kinds of online and offline shops where you can spend your BTC. If you would convince shops to accept BTC, i would be very thankfull if you added them to my list  Grin http://www.buywithbtc.biz
1332  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 60$ Worth Bitcoin With Paypal on: June 29, 2015, 12:46:10 PM

What should I use then? Can you recommend something?

Both kralle and myself have just recommanded virwox  Grin. You need a verified paypal account, 2 days, and you'll probably pay around 10% fees.
Ok thanks, I will check it Smiley

No problem... The main problem is that there are so many scammers trying to sell PP for BTC, so even if you're legit, nobody wants to trade with somebody new (untrusted)...

A shame, because virwox has really high fees, and takes up to 2 days for your first withdrawal. Search google for a quick tutorial, because you need to open an account, deposit PP, exchange them to LLD's, exchange your LLD's to BTC, withdraw your BTC

It's funny to see the same old thread several times a week...

It's been said before: paypal has a nasty feature, allowing you to chargeback any payment for over 180 days.

This is why it'll be nearly impossible for you to find anybody willing to trade PP to BTC, as long as you don't have enough trust...

You can always use virwox to exchange PP to BTC. They charge a very big fee, and it can take up to 2 days to withdraw the money, but it's basically our only alternative.
1335  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] [U3 Antminers] Intrest thread. on: June 29, 2015, 11:56:04 AM
I would be interested IF it can be shipped from the EU (or we can ship from US to EU in bulk for lower shipping costs).

Also, it would be interesting to have a PSU for the U3 included, even for a higher price  Grin
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can I take my bitcoins onto a new hard drive? on: June 29, 2015, 11:20:04 AM
AFAIK, you only need the wallet.dat file, just copy it to your new HD and you can continue like nothing happened
1337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is "Circle" a good place to buy Bitcoin? on: June 29, 2015, 11:02:51 AM
perhaps because you're not a usa citizent? there are some restriction if you live outside of usa, they need to implement those yet, this is the case if you'd attached a bank account to your circle account, but i've heard that their support isn't very good

I haven't added a bank account to my cirle account, but they did seem friendly towards non-us users. I managed to profit from their $5 signup bonus, using my EU cellphone...
1338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: June 29, 2015, 10:55:59 AM
Thanks for the tip guys, just bought me some CLAM's, and maybe i'll buy some CAPS next week... I'm really new to staking, but it seems at least a bit profitable if you stake the right coins...

At the moment i'm staking XMG and CLAM's (at least, i bought some, the wallet is syncing ATM)
1339  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 29, 2015, 09:46:19 AM
we are getting out from that already, perhaps still slowly, but we are on the right track, bitcoin is not massively represented for criminal as it was before

only its competitors, are doing the best to take out his worst side(criminal activity), but this is only fud

It's FUD, but it works.... If i talk to any of my friends, they all bought into the FUD, and truely believe BTC is only used to buy guns or drugs... Ofcourse i can show them the positive side, but not everybody has a friend that believes in BTC
1340  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinURL on: June 29, 2015, 07:45:19 AM
No issues here either... Did you clear your cache or use a diff browser to try if it works?
