This question is for those that are here when bear market of 2018 stormed the crypto space, how doesn't it feel like? All those staking for perceive income makes sense at all? Or returns went so bad and makes staking looks like a bad idea? How does it felt like.

So lets go back to 2018 - 2019

Market cycles are full of patterns so I think it's time to sit back, compare and try to come up with a good strategy for the next 2 years.

Assuming we are in a bear market, what can we expect ? Let me first just say that this is my first bear market, so I feel a little unprepared as I lost a huge amount of money ( I'm still in the green fortunately )
It's tempting to start "accumulating", however, Bitcoin is expected to hit a bottom of 11K by some credible experts, so buy now and cry later kind of thing.
I see some Alt coins going past the negative 90 % mark, with some like Star Atlas ( one of the biggest play to earn games in crypto ) approaching the negative 99 % mark. Many other projects find themselves in a similar predicament, but I just noticed UMA, Injective Protocol and Super Rare pumping hard today and yesterday so not everything is in the red. Can we expect some sort of a trend here ? Are some coins bound to do well even during a bear market ? From what I've heard, early ( 2018 - 2019 ) investors in Theta, Chainlink and Ethereum made huge gains even before the bull run started late 2020. Chainlink especially went parabolic, but then crashed mid year. Early 2019 AAVE investors also did extremely well, 5000 % gains from what I hear. All this during the bear market. Gains that were comparable or even better to the bull run. So am I reading it wrong ? Let me know.

Truth be told, hodling crypto currency is more about holding than anything else.
Those who have mastered the art of hodling have made the most money trading or investing in crypto currencies. The most basic skill one should have is HODLing.

Today I had a meeting with a friend of mine who teaches economics at university.
He believes when the inflation rate rises that's profitable to take a loan even with high interest to buy other assets such as gold, bitcoin, and even real estate. On one side of this theory, we usually suggest people never invest money that they can't afford to lose and don't invest the money that does not belong to them for many reasons. These are golden tips and useful in any market.
But the question is what if you do not own enough money for investing? can you take a loan and invest?
Because if you look deeply into charts of inflation rates in most the countries you can easily understand taking loans even with high interests could be useful and profitable.
Personally, I don't suggest doing this because using other people's money will put me under stress and this can have negative effects on my decisions. What do you think?

As long this market would continue and as long there would be buyers and sellers then it would continue to exist no matter what and as long there's volatility then there's always a chance for you to make profits.

Opportunities is boundless or unlimited as long this market moves.Trading experience would be similar for most people which experiencing the bitter sweet of volatility.

We know that its not easy but it would really be worth once you do gain up sufficient experience and skills on sustaining yourself in the market.

Honestly, I am very obsessed with this question. We don't know who is behind the bitcoin, at the moment Satoshi Nakamoto is just a made-up thing in our head. At the moment we think that he is a savior and helps us to gain financial freedom and protect our privacy but let's imagine some bad case scenarios for interesting discussion. At the moment, Satoshi has around 1 million bitcoin.

What if it was created by one of the worst person ever? What if he wants to make us dependent on bitcoin as much as possible and one day he comes, sells all his coins and causes financial catastrophe.
What if it was created by persons like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, etc. These are the people who don't respect their customers' privacy.

What if there is one specific, concrete country behind the scenes? Bitcoin is a mixture of the cyber and financial worlds, this is the greatest power stack to own.

The inspiration for me to create this thread was this video.
P.S. I don't agree with Dan Pena, I would even say that if he knew who was behind the bitcoin, as he says, he couldn't sleep at night or could sleep forever.

With how Luna turned out, an investor would be paranoid which of the tokens in his portfolio be the next that will pop because if it does have a stablecoin in its platform, its could very well likely be attacked.

But its not the only reason why they are scared, its because were in the bear market. The fud and fear come along with tragic Terra Luna's demise.

Hello everyone, I'm new here but not to crypto, and I must say that I'm totally excited to find a forum dedicated to bitcoin and crypto generally.  Before signing up here, I was skeptical about the credibility of this website, reason being that I have come across some other websites as well that have bitcoin in their names like "bitcointalk", but all they do is advice you to invest with them.

 So far in my very short time here, I have opened a lot of pages here and as far as I can see, this website is unlike any I have come across having bitcoin or crypto in their names.

I hope my time here will yield life changing results, what do I need to know?

Instead of giving your full money, doing copy-trade is probably better. The problem is this kind of feature is limited and not supported by most exchanges. But at least you don't risk losing your entire funds.

Never use signal service or trading deals, most of the time they're fake and even if it's legit, it won't last long.

I'm still in the green...more than double my initial investment. But then I got in nearly 2 years ago.

It's shocking to see how Luna turned out to be a worthless token within a week. It was reported that dozens of people committed suicide over the past week due to this horrible price incident. So let hear from the experts in the forum.

I believe the online cockfighting started because they are finding a way to still continue doing operations in the midst of the pandemic. And I am still in doubt that this would be stopped successfully. I have heard that the current administration is not so clean with regards to its intentions, and that many government officials are also involved or behind such cockpit hubs. At the end of the day, it would depend on the citizens if they will still continue to support such activity.

Very crucial for the Bucks as Boston also proven that they can snatch a game on the road they need to secure the win or they will be risking

a final game 7, which will be a tough one for them. If they will not end this at home, Boston will make sure that they will be very careful playing

at home. The last game was an upset due to carelessness in Boston, but it will be different if they will have another shot playing at home for sure.

The first 2 games at home they were underdogs, game 5 at home they were underdogs.  I'm thinking they will be dogs in game 7 if it gets there.  If it does will be an easy pick for me.  I don't think I've seen a 2 seed playing a lower seed that the spread is so high against them before.  Wierd.

After Embiid returned to the team, he led an explosion in his first game against the Heat, and from that moment on I thought the Heat was not able to handle it and the problems with the team in the regular season could be repeated. It's usually on style and the boxer's power to absorb the punches ever since I saw Ryan get a knockdown from Luke Campbell the chin has become a suspect and Campbell is not even a power puncher, Ryan will have to deal with Cruz's power and aggressiveness and Cruz just need to connect one big punch in the chin to destabilize Garcia, sure Ryan will have a chance to win but he needs to train as hard as he can as he is in a serious fight this time.
