1461  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: February 16, 2020, 11:57:15 AM
Well maybe affect because people will not invest so more if they need to pay taxes and most authorities want to put big tax on crypto.

Well, they will not be able to tax bitcoin and crypto currencies that easily. We all know that is decentralized and they will not be able to tax that unless they find another way or take advantage of the exchanges. That is the only way that they can tax bitcoin, another thing that I am seeing is if that a company agreed on paying their employees using bitcoin, in that case, they can just deduct from it but still, I think that is different from taxing it. Also, our country already regulated bitcoin and still, nothing is happening. There might be an improvement but it is so slow.
1462  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: February 16, 2020, 11:20:14 AM
There are a lot of people that are taking advantage of the services of the government. If the people will not be making a move to redeem themselves and just stay right there then they deserve to be poor. There are a lot of ways to earn money, to have a job, to start a career, all of that starts at you.

It is true but not all of the people that need it gets it. Despite the government making these "projects" that will help the people, not all of them are getting it. They are letting the system eat those people that need help especially when it comes to job and career. Get a job, well they need a diploma, something that proves they are worthy of that position but they don't have one. Just imagine that and think how hard it is for them.

Exactly! Gaming industry becomes widely known specially in Sea Games wherein they included it as a sport, specifically e sport. In this matter we can see how influential gaming industry was that is why there is a big chance for mass adoption if we apply blockchain or crypto with this platform. Also, in this way we can enjoy the feature of blockchain or crypto for we are just playing a normal online game.

It is great that is added in the SEA Games but I am kind of annoyed when someone says in the social media that these "esports" are just added so that the Philippines can gain more medals in that series, oh well. I am trying to find games posted by the OP especially that one related to Minecraft but my laptop can't handle it so I need to play it on computer shops, how about you guys?
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: February 16, 2020, 04:11:39 AM
I also think bitcoin is the best place to store bitcoins other than banks. Bitcoin has a hardware wallet of some kind ledger that can store virtual money physically so it is very safe because only those ledger holders can access their virtual money.

I think you misunderstood the OP. Safe Haven investment is something that is expected to go up despite what is happening. Bitcoin as a safe haven is said to give continuous profit in the future. In the video, Campbell Harvey said that there is still not enough proof to say that Bitcoin is a safe haven investment, he even said that Gold itself is not reliable. Though it has the possibility of becoming one, and I also think it has a chance of going there despite the volatility of it.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: February 16, 2020, 12:59:16 AM
I think this doesn't mean that there are a lot of people that is wanting to know more about bitcoin. These searches can't say who is using bitcoin and who is not using it. I am still searching bitcoin on google to find updates I can't see on the people I am following on social media and other pages.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 15, 2020, 11:59:19 PM
No matter the point of view, there are always many reasons to stop gambling, the problem is that people get chemically addicted to it as the brain goes into emotional states that are potenciated by gambling... a strong mind and a serious definitive decision to stop will be the first weapons, but then you need to start getting your free time filled with other stuff...

Chemically, what does that even mean? Humans are naturally greedy and that is the reason why a lot of people are getting addicted to it. We believe to these ploys that gambling would make us rich or will be the way for our success like others but that is not for us, it is just for them. A lot of reasons to stop gambling but it will always start to you so better prioritize and start living your life.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 15, 2020, 11:27:48 PM
But I don't think that judges will be sentimental, there are a lot of good pure dunkers in the contest. Maybe he will do some antics and again entertain the crowd, but I don't think that he will win again.

I agree. It is good that he will be letting us remember the superman of the past but I don't think it will be that necessary since there are a lot of new players now that can surprise people more, including Gordon. When Dwight Howards is in Orlando, he won the Dunk Contest and I read that Aaron Gordon will be taking the trophy back to Orlando.

We never know actually, he can still dunk for sure but if he has something new to show, who knows?
At the odds now in the dunk contest, he got the lowest chance of winning but the betting odds is really good at 8.00, I would put a little bet on it.

I would do too. My friend contacted me about this and want to watch the dunk contest with me for the sake of the old times. I think for me this is just like a tribute to Kobe where we are getting back to that past that we will never be seen again. He is bringing back the past where I am really enjoying and thrilled watching NBA, it is fun since at that time I don't have a problem watching games all day, unlike now that I am busy with my job.

We need to find a way to make some money not to be slave by it.
Don't blame the government if others could do it then why can't you?

Why can't we blame them? They are taking advantage of the position they are in. They want to save themselves not save the country they are in. You can't expect someone to just be good with the money they are earning since in the first place, they are being paid well and the government is just not improving that the reason people here are forced to go to other countries to find a job a good salary.
1470  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: February 15, 2020, 09:20:29 PM
It is a threat to other cryptocurrencies, but it is actuall a new opportunity for users

It is the opposite, a threat to users and new opportunities for crypto currencies. Crypto currencies are made for the decentralization, not for this. The fact that they can made a crypto currency meaning they will be able to track users of it and that is the threat for the users.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 15, 2020, 02:16:30 PM
If you will be asking me, better limit yourself while you can. As time passes, you will never be able to do that since either you are chasing back your losses or wanting to win more not looking at how big your losses are. Better use yourself to something like that since, in the past, I did not continue on doing that and not seen that I've lost a lot of money. I lost track that I even get addicted.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: February 15, 2020, 01:25:07 PM
[CS:GO] My picks for BlastPremier matches today:

100 Thieves - Evil Geniuses: Evil Geniuses, 1.51 @ MY BetOnBit
G2 - OG: OG 1.5, 1.51 @ MY BetOnBit

Yesterday 2/2. Let's go for another 2/2 today. Matches are BO3, and betting risk is normal to high.

I am having a doubt about betting in these two teams, G2 is having a good game but OG is also doing great. They even defeated EG, but seeing your post I ensured that so I will be going with yours. Thanks for that.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 15, 2020, 10:48:07 AM
It's more an exhibition.  If someone from one sports tries to fight a top level person in another sport it doesnt mean one person is better than the other in their own respective sport.  It's not even close who is better at boxing between pac and conner, conner isnt even a professional boxer.  He just makes noise and turns that into money from people wanting to watch him.  This would be a silly exhibition at best.

And that exhibition match could shut up this fighter. We all know that Connor talks be he also has a skill in his sport, the time that this topic opened, all I can think is how would Manny make this come true since as his fan, I know that Manny is interested in this fight. You might not be interested in this but for me, it is like LeBron joining a football team, it is an exhibition but as someone that will not be seeing this every single day, we want that to happen, how can he perform in a different field.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt is done? on: February 15, 2020, 06:34:37 AM
I don't know if you read this news but it is starting. The hype is not a hype anymore, it is happening. I don't know what happened but I think that is just a delay so the impact will be more fatal.

https://cryptonews.com/news/bitcoin-futures-open-interest-on-bakkt-up-50-in-february-mor-5784.htm

I think Bakkt is the reason why we are seeing these good changes in the price chart.

1475  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 15, 2020, 04:07:32 AM
Some even don't have any regulation at all, and does not restrict using and buying cryptocurrencies.

Adoption of Germany is quite expectable since they are early to adopt digital currency to eliminate paper cash money. More cities in Germany have most of their population use digital payment systems (but still fiat).
Yes at my place as well there is no proper regulation about crypto but we are able to use it for buying and selling goods from the market. People love to store the coin in crypto instead of keeping in banks because crypto gives them huge profit while keeping money in banks give no actual profit and money will remain as it is that's why better all country accept the worth of crypto.

I think that is good since more and more people will be accepting it and will be wanting to use it as a payment method. If that will also happen in our country, government might put an additional way to secure the safety of its citizen. Banks might even accept it in the future.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's transaction fee lowered by 4000% on: February 14, 2020, 11:48:33 PM
SegWit really changed Bitcoin for the better. Compared to 2017, Bitcoin has become incredibly profitable in terms of fee

Well, in the past there are this jerk/s that spam transactions. At that problem, people are paying large amount of transaction fees so they could be quickly approved. At that time a lot of people are really pissed with the transaction fees and transaction time, I think that is the reason of this drop. It is not that profitable when we talk about fees since there are still a lot of complains regarding to fees especially to exchanges.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: February 14, 2020, 10:37:15 PM
Battle Royals are a bomb right now in the gaming industry, a lot of players are playing that genre at any age. I think they should also consider MOBAs since that is also something that would people look into. Thanks for that information since I love games and I never thought that these games are even a thing yet, I think I will be starting to mine some Sats now.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 14, 2020, 09:13:07 PM
Manny Pacquiao just signed the Paradigm SM, a combat sport agency  which has also represents Conor McGregor. I guess we are closing the gap for this fight to happen. Because the negotiation will not going to be complicated since they're both under the same agency now.

Source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/manny-pacquiao-signs-with-paradigm-which-represents-conor-mcgregor-2020-2%3famp

This is more hype than It will be substances.  Both are professionals at their own sport.  It's like lebron james trying to play professional football.  It might get some hype but once it comes down to it he really doesnt have a shot.  If it becomes an AMA fight conner will wreck manny.  If it is a straight boxing match , manny will wreck him.  Pretty boringly too

But for me that result is important. Connor is saying that he hit Mayweather many times than Pacquiao did in their last match. In short he is saying that he is better than Pacquiao, and if this happens and we see the results, we could create a conclusion whose really close in defeating the undefeated champion. For me this is just a bridge to what will be the defeat or the down fall of the pretty boy.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 14, 2020, 03:17:42 PM
In my case, no. I've been used to lose in gambling and every time I lose I just think I deserve it since I should not be gambling in the first place. I should not also feel this since this would really turn on your desperate to win and can start your addiction to gambling. When I lose, I lose, if that continues, I stop and just gamble next time.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the affect of Valentine day on Bitcoin Price on: February 14, 2020, 01:57:03 PM
It is always that it is just a coincidence. The price of bitcoin now had a good run starting this month. It goes back to a 5-digit price and now staying there. If every year that happens, we could conclude that it really has a good effect on the price but there are those years that it did not happen so we can say that it is just a coincidence.
