1541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possibilities and chances ! on: April 24, 2023, 05:56:22 PM
The absolute time present, increase price of BTC ! Have any chances to break down the previous record of BTC price?
That's the great expectation. I always look up to such a scenario after I experienced it firsthand in 2017. It was the first ATH I experienced and the feeling beat everything else. Those who've experienced a Bitcoin circle will tell you that every crash or dip is an opportunity to buy more and not to panic. My projection for the next ATH is that it will do at least a multiple of two of the current ATH ($68k+). This may look impossible, but it will be nothing when the bull rally begins.

is it good for a contractor to be awarded a contact  and be  payed  with Bitcoin .I was awarded a contact and to be payed with Bitcoin  I don't have any idea about it i  need a help from these foroom please?
First off, you should've edited your little post for errors before posting (or after you posted it). Secondly, I don't believe your story of getting paid in Bitcoin where there's no other option of payment and you made it sound it's being foisted on you. Nah! Things don't work that way. There's always an understanding before that's done. If you wrote for merit's sakes, you can see it fell flat on its face. Next time, just be yourself and don't write to please anyone by making up stories.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want bitcoin to stay? on: April 24, 2023, 09:45:44 AM
Apart from providing me an extra source of income in trading it, Bitcoin has proved to me that it's a seamless transaction whenever I use it for investment as against the bottleneck that arises when using fiat. I make a transfer to an account I'm funding and within minutes it reflects. That's the beauty of Bitcoin as it cuts off middleman in the game. So, who wouldn't want it to stay even if it's just for the stress it takes off one? The same transaction that could take me days paying with fiat, it's just a few minutes with Bitcoin payment.
1544  Other / Off-topic / Re: Procrastination the enemy on: April 24, 2023, 08:41:09 AM
I miss the opportunity in 2014 because I feel it was a scam, am I missed the opportunity, look at me today, investing in some alt that wanted to give me high b.p
Judging by how Bitcoin circle has been, 2014 wouldn't have been a nice entry year as it seemed Bitcoin was just coming off a bull year. So, price would've still been on a steady decline. Of course, I know that those who buy to hodl wouldn't care if they're buying high or low and would target anything like a perfect entry. They just buy. 2015/16 would've been a perfect time for shrewd investors just like 2023 is now. It's good you've noticed that investment in altcoins isn't as safe as that on Bitcoin.

I must buy bitcoin today, I really don't know if someone else is experiencing the same thing out there?
Nope, you MUSTN'T. It's a choice you ought to make by yourself without any coercion.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 23, 2023, 04:46:52 PM
~snipped~
If investors make a profit by driving prices down, who are they selling to?
But of course, we know that everyone enters and exists at different times. That's why it's possible to buy or sell at different times and still make profit. At the recent ATH in 2021 of $68k+, there were those who bought at that level, hoping it would continue to go up while some exited the market at the same time. Those who bought that high are not likely to sell now even though we know price has rallied up against what it used to be in Jan or so that it ranged below $17k. Those who bought around that range then won't have any regrets selling now but certainly not those who bought at ATH. That's how it works.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 23, 2023, 02:09:12 PM
...often times I ask myself outside the fact that when people made withdrawal it affects the price going down and when people invest high capitals it increases the price automatically
What happens when price falls as a result of withdrawal is just simple panic and that typifies market reaction in the negative. A lot of investors who aren't chart readers take their cue unnecessarily from what they see others do, whether good or bad. So, they find others selling; they also sell. They find others buy, they FOMO and buy  It's a ripple effect that is capable of causing panic selling or frenzy buying. Price will expectedly crash when supply gets higher than demand or rises because demand gets higher than supply. It's a natural market dynamics that fixes price not anyone.
1547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 23, 2023, 11:38:43 AM
This is simply because investors are always quick to take profit when they see any little rise in price. Once that happens price goes down again and it looks like a dip. This artificial dip that's caused by the fast sale will panic others who ordinarily would want to wait to quickly join in the panic. This happening repeatedly would cause price to continue to fall instead of maintaining its balance and going south. If only whales or big investors wouldn't want to always cash out at every little rise, bull season would be staying longer than it does.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 23, 2023, 10:37:11 AM
Why do they continue to support centralized exchanges, use them, and retain their Bitcoin there?
The only reason, I should think, to the best of my perspicacity for patronising centralized exchanges won't be far from the fact that they afford users an ease of trading and the availability of several cryptos to choose from on the site. Dexs don't have the type of options of cryptos centralized exchanges have. They have limited trading pairs. As for those who don't trade but keep their coins on Cexs, that's bad and should be discouraged because Cexs aren't safe and secured.
1549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having bitcoin gives confidence on: April 23, 2023, 08:37:20 AM
I don't really know if anyone else feel the same way?
You're absolutely spot on and definitely not the only one who feels that way. Whenever I've cash I want to invest without taking unnecessary risk, it's Bitcoin that first comes to mind. The belief that no matter what happens, every dip that Bitcoin encounters will surely recover is there. I like to advise newbies who seek my opinion on crypto investment to do more (if not all) of their investment in Bitcoin.
1550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever be afraid of holding? on: April 22, 2023, 10:52:03 AM
Long term investors are the real investors, is not easy to hold watch your money going down by the day, people who buy occasionally during deeps and store don't usually calculate current price action  because they are after the future.
Yeah, the real investors are those who buy during the bear market and hodl into the next bull season before selling off; thereby allowing the circle to complete and repeat itself. Those who buy and hold without selling off at any point aren't helping advance and complete the Bitcoin circle. Hodling without selling off won't create the necessary dips that allow for the redistribution of wealth. If everyone is hodling and not selling at all, price won't rise.

Quote
But as humans have you ever have this fear of holding? Like what if something happens to my investment?
To be sincere I don't like the idea of hodling when it's a bear season. Why hodl when you know the market is dipping? I experienced it in 2018 but never allowed it to repay itself in 2022. It's the same way I won't be hodling in 2026. So, before holding check what the market situation is like.
1551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 21, 2023, 01:30:25 PM
My friend loves opening different trades at a time, most at times is difficult for him to control what's should be. Trading on free chart with multiple opening can be very dangerous. Yesterday he experience unusual hit when bitcoin price drops again, four trades loss at once when the market go against him. Personally I don't advise multiple trade especially when you're not familiar with trade
The issue with your friend isn't that he placed multiple trades. What happened was that he didn't apply Money Management principle. Everyone who trades multiple pairs at the same time knows how to reduce and control their risk. He should determine whatever he's going to lose (in case it goes wrong) or it goes well in profit. The major issue in trading isn't the profit but the loss side of it.

It baffled me when those that need correction like you would be correcting others that need to lecture them. If you must know, I major in trading and I've taught and mentored many over the years. I even have my books about trading, so I don't blab and am not like those that are just trading.
Wow! How you quickly went on the offence is what beats me here. My dear, we aren't in competition. Do whatever that pleases you. I only stated that you omitted a crucial part of trading in what you listed. I don't know why that should spike your adrenaline level.

Quote
To make it worse, you supported the most confusing "leading indicators" that only dance quickly to the change in price, how naive are you? Also, as a matter of correction, Trendline and Pivot points are not indicators, they are support and resistance levels that translate into strategies. They can only be indicators if you code them to be one, so you need to learn more about trading.
Oh really? They aren't indicators? You miss the point of what indicators are then. If you haven't heard the term "leading indicators" before now, you should've checked it out before laying yourself bare in public. Again, you said those set of indicators dance to the change in price? That's ludicrous to say the least. If you actually understood what they're you would know how false your statement is. Lastly, every trading plan and strategy can be coded.

This, I've done many times, so it's practical to me and strange that anyone could state otherwise.
Well, to each what works for them.

Then again, I woulnd't be surprised if someone actually falls for this feeble scam attempt.
I was going to say don't bet on it before I saw this second message of yours. Every flimsy and lazy scam has someone failing for it. If not, scammers would be out of business a long time ago.

Who in their right mind would believe that selling a hero member account for $80 wouldn't end up being a scam?
For a scam to be successfully executed, there are greedy minds who want to exploit the person who's introducing that deal to them. Both the deceived and the deceiver, in this situation, are both dishonest people. In most campaigns, a Hero ranked account goes for $80 and above weekly. Yet, someone supposedly wants to flog theirs for something far less, and someone thinks all is well?

1557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market is seasonal on: April 18, 2023, 08:30:31 PM
Philosophically, life is full of seasons – there's time for everything; a time to be born and a time to die. There's also a place for ups and downs in life for everyone. These turn of events must be experienced in one's life, whether we like it not.

The system dash you small cash this week and collect big cash from you next week.
No trader would say at any point in their trading experience they didn't share this mindset. We all did. At times one would even think there was a kind of conspiracy with a monitoring evil glued to one's device to foretell one's activities. However, as we wised up on the journey we've come to understand that there's nothing of such.

Quote
I see that there is no complete expert trader, at a point everyone experience loss both robots. That's means the market is kind of seasonal, it can favor you today and hit you tomorrow.
That's the beauty of trading. It keeps everyone on their toes. No one can beat their chest and say they've outlived losses.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your tips and tricks to orange pill your family and friends on: April 18, 2023, 04:52:46 PM
People don't want to take risk by their selves, rather looking for whom to take risk and they hold such person for their lost.
Yes, this is sadly true. I know why it's that way. It's because everyone wants to lie down on their pillows with folded arms while waiting for their investments to yield dividends without flexing muscles again. They don't want to be bothered about checking up anything after they've made the initial investment. They want others to bear the burden for them.

few weeks ago i was asked to help purchase some bitcoin and the person in question doesn't have any basic understanding about bitcoin volatility all he wanted was for me to buy it and he would hold on exchange, i told him to go read about the risk of what he wanted to embarked on before i could endangered myself buying btc.
I did same thing a few years ago. I bought Bitcoin for the person and then taught him how to hodl it in a wallet by himself. I was reporting the progress of the investment to him until a certain rise I asked him to sell off. However, the thing is that after that investment, he didn't reinvest and I wondered why it was so. I came to the conclusion that there are things you can't force anyone to learn if they aren't interested in them.
1559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 18, 2023, 01:34:45 PM
Lots of people that know am into bitcoin investment in my society always come to meet me and they have been complaining to me that they didn’t get to know about bitcoin early, most of them wants to invest in bitcoin but they believe the price is already high and incase if the invest now, it’s just waste of time because the won’t really be making much profits again, most of them decided to invest in other things why some of them decide to invest in altcoins(which is very risky).
Bitcoin or crypto investment isn't for the faint hearted. Those who go into it should know that. We only feel excited when it goes well and in our favour (that's when we actually bought in before price began to rise) but beat ourselves hard when in loss. I'm sure those people asking you and regretting they didn't buy in at early stage would've sold off long time ago if they had bought in as early investors. Isn't that what so many people are doing now with other altcoins with utility? They buy these altcoins cheap but quickly sell off once price does X10, only for them to start regretting if price continues on a high. My take on this whole thing is that there's never a late time to buy into Bitcoin, except one is buying to quickly sell off and that isn't what Bitcoin is for ideally.

I think it's exciting for bitcoin and it's community...
Yes, it's exciting for me. In fact, the halving event is what keeps me resolute whenever I see price dipping. I only have to remember that there's a silver lining around the corner and that the darkness occasioned by the bear is just momentarily. In my six years on knowing Bitcoin I've observed it go through worse moments (I can't say worst yet). That didn't kill it. It rose from all that like a phoenix. The halving events have been largely responsible for that as scarcity adds value to things. It's the same with Bitcoin.
