1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: September 26, 2022, 07:21:26 PM
Bitcoin have got varied backing system against banks that follow the traditional system. Now things have been digitised, which makes banking more user-friendly and anywhere accessible. The limitations of limited fund transfer and other intermediary service costs make people move towards bitcoin. Now banks too have started to develop their own CBDC running on cryptographic network, but these are centralised. So, there is nothing different from traditional currency and CBDC.
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 07:10:28 PM
Very limited usage of those tokens is a big reason that makes the projects get unused. When we talk of projects associated with gambling, the tokens are used in the gambling site for gambling and it doesn't have any more usage. There were investment opportunities, and very few number of people prefer this over other cryptocurrencies available in the market.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 24, 2022, 11:59:47 PM

I was once got hooked in a game that has Gacha in it.  And it is really hard to get the premium item, mostly you get trash items that has no value in-game at all.

Every Gacha game will be pretty much hard to get those premium items and even heroes, well some will surely need special coins to be unlucky and needs a further amount of money to get, too have become addicted to wasting money because of the good rewards that have promised to be given but apparently those Items even if you have paid for the said diamonds you will need to play in on Gacha get, that is the most frustrating part in Gacha games you will expect something but that will not be given eventually,
It's a random item of course, but if you are lucky enough then you can receive premium items but not expect that much.
I've tried some of this before but yeah I was not able to get any good items and for me it's not a waste of money since you are playing that game and one of the thing that can satisfy you is to have good items, spending some money is fine just don't go over your budget and never force yourself to buy those gatcha if its out of budget.
These are mere fun and doesn't make any sense. Just on getting premium products the character gets more powerful. How the developers are making these kinds of games and letting people get addictive. Whether it is gacha or some other form of gambling, limiting ourselves with a fund is a must. Going out of the limit causes financial difficulties and lead to addiction.
1564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading activity is 13x larger than any other exchange on: September 24, 2022, 11:53:32 PM
Binance have got the increased number of listings compared to other cryptocurrency exchanges. Also to get listed on Binance isn't an easy thing. Only the projects that fulfil their criteria gets listed. I prefer Binance mostly for the P2P trade access that isn't available with other crypto exchanges.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 24, 2022, 11:49:18 PM
There is no such strategy. This all happens out of some unexpected market progress within short time period. Today saw a news about a 21 year old guy who made $150k out of $600 as base investment. For this he have spend 10 months. He didn't reveal the tactics and strategies he used. Such things were really happening around, and we need to experiment and can be achieved through learning.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: September 24, 2022, 11:44:52 PM
I'm so waiting for DREEM to launch a full-fledged PR campaign. You know, the more people all over the world know about this metaverse, the more I'll be able to talk to.

Metaverse is a good hope to create a Great Again Market, of course this is an idea that can encourage the market to recover, some trends such as NFT seem to have been difficult to develop and if the market continues to red then we are worried that it will happen for a long time.
Meta and NFT are just hype. Those days have passed and it is good to spend limited fund on meta and NFT. This is just personal opinion. There are altcoins that are good for long term. As the market is bearish, investment over the trusted altcoins will assure with long term profit. My choice will be altcoins with price less than a dollar.
1567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 24, 2022, 07:55:06 AM
When something is on its growing path, there will be something against it. From the very beginning there are people who believe on bitcoin and its growth. Same time there are people who always have negative thoughts on Bitcoin and it's adoption. Earlier there were discussions of bitcoin fail as a currency, Soon bitcoin will end, Bitcoin will rise and fall soon. Same as this more discussions create negative thoughts and the same will be termed as dead. The reality is different and people need to understand the reality and not those thoughts and assumptions.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 23, 2022, 03:29:38 PM
The match between India and Australia is going to be tough for prediction of the result. The match have been suspended for wet outfield once after the inspection done by 7pm. The next inspection is scheduled to be around 8pm, and if everything is proper then the match will start soon. The toss too delayed. The wet outfield will be big hindrance for the bowlers.

Do anyone know how long can we wait until the match have to be abandoned if not start?
What are the minimum overs to be played by both teams in order to have a result? I think the technology is advanced so much, why we didn't got anything to dry the outfields in minutes?
The umpires were on the field along with the fourth umpire making the inspection. The third inspection is going on and are observing the wet outfield condition. After the inspection umpires have made a discussion with both the captains and heading back. By the time ground staff are sprinkling more sawdust.

There is a discussion for 5 over match. If the match doesn't start by 9:45, then we can confirm that the match is cancelled.
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 23, 2022, 03:06:09 PM
WIPL will give way for more number of cricketers who haven't got fair chance to play for the country. Right now girls interest into cricket is very limited. This is all because of the lack of opportunities they get being a cricketer. Now  WIPL will open opportunities for the girls.

In tomorrow's match India Women need to make a whitewash. As in the previous post, the interest over Women cricket is quite high compared to the past and the same makes WIPL a big success.

1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 23, 2022, 11:22:32 AM
There are less than 2 months left before 32 teams face off in 64 matches to determine the winner of the FIFA World Cup. The 2022 FIFA World Cup is going to be an awesome show. We're looking forward to watching the FIFA World Cup's opening match. Since we're heading to the biggest festival on earth, this game is sure to draw a big crowd. My excitement is high, but I am looking forward to a new country lifting it this time around.

And you need to remember something very important. This is going to be the last world cup in current format. From the next world cup onwards, there will be a total of 48 participants, with increased representation from Africa and Asia. There is going to be much more diversity and we can expect to see countries such as New Zealand taking part in the tournament. So this is going to be the last edition, where the UEFA teams are dominating. We still don't know anything about the tournament structure in 2026, but length of the tournament is a concern.
The number 32 is increased to 48 for the 2026 World Cup. An 16 team increase is a big number. There'll be divesre addition of teams from all over the world. According to the present team participation, more teams need to be added from Asia and Africa. Fortunately there is not much of football nation on the Asia continent.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2022, 11:09:03 AM
Turkey was pretty close to a humiliating defeat against Luxemburg, but they managed to equalize the result at the end.
The rest of the games were no surprise. France, Belgium and Netherlands were way stronger than their opponents. Croatia had problems with Denmark, but the Croatian attack was really good at the end of the game. Can't wait to see Italy vs. England. The English team seems like a favorite for winning this match, but the Italians cannot be underestimated. I also think that Gibraltar can get a draw against Bulgaria.
The match was alive till the last, because whenever Luxemburg makes a goal Turkey used to make a goal. This way there is consecutive goals from Luxemburg followed by Turkey. So, from the beginning to the end the goals used to get levelled often. Finally at the 69th minute Luxemburg lead the match 3-2 and Turkey fought till the last and levelled the goals 3-3 once again at the last moment.

Also Medvedev is struggling with Wawrinka and saved already a match point and i think Wawrinka can win in this match.

Wawrinka did it, and put Medvedev down
it is only Hurkacz from top players now in, and Stan can reach far on this tournament, if he plays as against Medvedev

Ymer is next, and then Rune vs Bublik, all players that could be beaten by Stan, if he is playing his game, would be nice to see him get another title in this age

As i guessed Wawrinka surprised Medvedev and won the match. Probobly the biggest win for Wawrinka in last couple of years and finally we see the good old Stan. Medvedev is in a bad form and i see him dropping out of top 10 really soon with how he is playing.
I thought Medvedev will make a comeback after the fighting win in the second set. Unfortunately things didn't work for him, and Wawrinka won the third set easily. After his win in the Los Cabos Open there is no big performance from Medvedev. Consecutive losses amidst the big expectation from the audience.
1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bahrain allows regulated crypto payment gateway. on: September 23, 2022, 09:01:20 AM
This is good for the future. Small countries are making big plans and are executing the real time usage of cryptocurrency on different needs. Bitcoin as payment gateway will make more people know about it. In a country with population less than 2 million it is an easy task to implement new innovations.

The plan is really welcoming and these small move will make big changes in the real time usability of crypto in the long run. Though El Salvador is a small country it served as an example of considering bitcoin as legal tender. Maybe some other countries can follow the footprints of Bahrain.
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" - A reminder why this is so important! on: September 23, 2022, 08:41:21 AM
Bitcoin allows you to be your OWN Bank .....and it allows you to have access to your own money, without any intermediary having the power to block it. Just make sure that you have sole access to your Private keys.  Wink
Being your own bank is the best feeling in the world. There are several benefits. For instance, you would be absolutely certain that no one could access your money after you had taken the necessary security precautions, knew precisely how much you had, and knew how to get to it. Additionally, it is hassle-free to transfer and receive it anywhere in the globe. Another argument is that, in contrast to banking institutions, bitcoin transactions are quite open. Think about the Russian-Ukrainian situation as well. What do you suppose happened to those who had money in their bank accounts and also those who had bitcoin. And then suddenly they needed to get up and seek safety? With bitcoin, you can carry your "bank" around.
Having control over our money is a must. No bank assure it, whereas bitcoin gives assurance of the same. For different purpose we're in need of the banks, but it is always good to know our limits and make use of the banks. Another thing, all of the sudden banks won't close. We will come to know about the situation of the bank, if something is bad just withdraw entire funds. Very few exceptions happen same as that happened in Ukraine and Russia due to war.

1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 11:46:27 PM
I don't have limitations. I just spend, and leave the rest and once again when I comeback I play and if the amount gets increased it'll be left. I know somehow I was gonna loss it gambling, and that mind makes me leave the money. Even if I have $500, it'll get down to $200 within two days and once again it reaches $300. This is how it runs and everything is upon the win/loss. Personal deposits as a means of holding is nil.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 22, 2022, 11:41:57 PM
Play to earn needs to gain importance similar to normal gaming. When we sit for hours and at the end of we don't get anything, it disappoints. When we spend as playing a game, and when rewarded there'll be satisfaction. Read in an article about a school kid from a third world country daily spending hours after school to earn something. The play to earn games have supporting his life, because his father is a drunkard and doesn't support the family financially. He and his brother does it for life, and I don't know will this turn to be addiction in the long run.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone explain to me why did ETH drop after the merge? on: September 22, 2022, 11:36:44 PM
When the merge got completed the entire transition to POS happened. As a result the ethereum holders tend to sell their holdings. This eventually affects the market, now once again people find a way to stake buying at lower price. Other than this, there were predictions that the merge won't happen perfectly. But things happened good, so there is not much of disturbance. If not, that too could've affected the market.
1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 21, 2022, 08:20:17 PM
Over at Metz Thiem has beaten Gasquet in two sets and is into the second round to meet
Hurkacz. Interestingly Wawrinka is through also against Sousa. Two guys making their
way back from injuries/surgeries. Stan meets Medvedev tomorrow. Two tough opponents
for both Thiem and Wawrinka.

These two playing after break against the players who are playing top tennis games over the past few weeks have got difference. Two are really tough players and players doesn't have big age difference. This makes the matches to be interesting and we can't make conclusion on the match.
