1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 23, 2017, 08:23:01 PM
$1 is too small to buy anything. I think you should spend it to buy books to learn about trading. haha
Most physical books are going to cost you more than that, the cheapest books in my country about trading cost 10 dollars and you cannot expect to get information that is that good for that price, people need to adjust their expectations we do not need thousands of dollars like in forex to start investing but we cannot ask for miracles, you need at least a few hundred dollars if you want to trade with bitcoin.
1622  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 07:08:54 PM
if the government is really that powerful maybe .just maybe . cause bitcoin only works thru internet plus we all know nowadays that theres a lot of people who knows how internet works.if they cant stop it in legal ways like make bitcoin coin illegal day can always hack all the accounts from bitcoin to atleast damage all the networks of bitcoin..
They don’t need to sit their ass down and stress themselves hacking accounts on bitcoin which is up to millions. There is already quantum computers, and they can use it to destroy every Bitcoin by simply using the addresses, and puff! Your money is gone. The government is interested in Bitcoin as for now, and they are making profit from it, so they don’t want it to end right now. If they want to end it, it will be when they realize that lots of people are losing money in it, then they will find a way to end it.
As far as we know quantum computers cannot do that, now maybe they have secret technology that can do that but at the same time the are already algorithms that are resistant to quantum computers, never forget that it is always going to be easier to defend from attacks than it is to attack, at some point our encryption technology will be so powerful there is not going to be a way to ever decrypt it.
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: November 23, 2017, 03:54:35 AM
Yes, but crypto still has a lot of the homework, especially to getting approve by the securities institution in every government. The crypto market cap is worth for multiple billion dollars in the future.
While that is important I think that is secondary to me the most important factor is that bitcoin needs to become useful, right now bitcoin is treated mostly as an investment and that is fine but we need bitcoin to begin to behave as a currency as well, we need people to use bitcoin more as a currency than an investment and for that we need the fees to get cheaper and confirmations to be faster.
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: November 23, 2017, 01:17:42 AM
Just imagine. If ALL OF US would be rich, that means we would live our lives out from dividends, or any passive income of at least $1k a month. Then it would be jawesome, right ? Well, but then I do have a question.
WHO on this Earth would bake the bread for ALL OF US ?
Robots, you might say?
OK, nice idea.
But then, WHO on Earth would maintenance these robots ?
Another robots ?
I don't think so.
Even if so, even if there would be a Skynet of robots, who would not just bake the bread, but also harvest the grains, transport it, deliver to our doors. What then ?
We could eat for free, as much as you want?
Cool, but what about overweight then.
Doctor? But hey wait, NO ONE on this Earth work, so we have no doctors.
OK, we have Doctor Robots.
Who would teach our kids? Robots! Who would change the diapres? Robot!
Even if humans would master all this, we would need to have all the knowledge to teach our robots to work for us. To be slaves for us. (no minds, just pure robotic hands/arms and so on, Tesla's and autopilots)
But even then, there is one huge problem.
I do not want to touch any country, or race, or group of people, but imagine, if you put infinite amount of resources to any kind of animal (including humans), they would reproduce themselves to infinite. Because they simply can. Because parents do not need to parent their kids anymore, because we have robots! So we would need a limit of reproducing, no right to reproduce as much as you can handle (infinite resources), because we would simple have like 50-100billion people on this planet, and there would be no robots who could grow so much grains to bake bread. (perhaps hyper dense pills could be the away).
So, back to the original question, why do people believe, they all can be rich ?
It was, is, and will be, ALWAYS about that who is going to earn more, not enough, but more than the others.
Why?
If there is only one mansion on the Bahamas, which is large enough, sunny enough, sexy enough, there is no freaking way, ALL OF US could buy it. Just one. 1. One. And if only 10 buyers come with their million, to who would seller sell this mansion to? First ? But second also have million and ALL OF US want to be rich (own that one mansion). So second would have to offer 2 million, right?
Wrong.
No one would want to sell such mansion in the first place, as he is already rich. We all are.

every people here in the world want to be rich, because they don't like that they are still in the low class of living so that every people here wants to be rich because if you are rich you don't have a problem to you're financial.
I can hardly find any person living on this earth who will not be dreaming of getting rich. This is a natural phenomenon that all of us actually wants to have more money for better living of our families. The fact is there are very few amongst us who actually manage to make their dreams come true. If you want to have a better life, then you have work really hard for that. Your personal motivation means a lot.
Life is also about taking the opportunities right in front of us and as members of this forum that means that we have decided to try to make money with bitcoin, and I think it is the right choice the only thing we need to do is to put enough money in bitcoin and wait for long enough and the possibilities that we become rich with bitcoin are very high.

What about ICOs though? You can make a lot more money with ICOs if you know what you are doing. Have you heard about AngelToken? It is a great opportunity to invest at the beginning and it is going to be huge. Bitcoin investing isn't a great opportunity at the moment, because the price is so high that is liable to crash at any time in the near future.
An ico can be a good way to make money, but there are so many icos every month that is very difficult to know which one is good project that can go up in value, it may seem easy but it can be very challenging to know which one is going to gather the support of the community, that is why personally I do not like to invest in icos, the profits can be great but the losses can be terrible as well.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: November 23, 2017, 12:16:23 AM
Maybe I am conservative, but I like to diversify investments.
And that is why I think that stocks, real-estate and crypto currencies complement each other.
I try to generate a balanced system of risk and safety. And to me that system needs more investment fields, not just one.
Although crypto currencies give most profit at the moment. When I look at how quickly they move in price, I would not want to miss my other investments.

That is the correct way to approach investing but many people decide to invest everything in a few investments because they do not have the money to invest in all of those options, currently I do not have the money to invest in real estate since the cheapest house in my country is beyond my capabilities to pay, so most of my investment is still in bitcoin and I’m going to keep it that way even if I would like to have a more diverse portfolio.
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 0.000149 btc on: November 22, 2017, 10:51:28 PM
Hello

in my wallet i have 0.000149 btc  Undecided what can i do with this amount, trading ? landing ?  Huh  Huh or what  ? it's not even  cover a transaction fee   Sad Undecided

In my opinion, you have a very valuable access which is your time. So, dont waste it to play around with 0.000149 btc since the value it brings back to you is very low. On the other hand, you should use your time to do other jobs to make money and by more btc when the price is low.

When having at least 0.005 btc, you can start trading to make more btc.
Correct, while there is nothing you can do with that amount of money that does not mean you need to accept that as all the bitcoin you are ever going to have, if you have the time you can do much to increase that amount, join a signature campaign, try to get some bounties or offer your services in the forum and very soon you are going to have a lot more than that small amount of bitcoin.
1627  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ? on: November 22, 2017, 07:37:57 PM
What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ?

comment your view and let see who will be right.
I think there is a big change we reach a price higher than 25k dollars, a lot of money is coming to bitcoin in the second week of December of this year, and that is going to make the price to go up even more and when we take into account all the positive news it is safe to assume that bitcoin is going to keep growing for a long time, bitcoin will only need to grow 50% per year and that is less than the average growth it had in the past years.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT is Happening with BCH?? on: November 22, 2017, 05:53:23 PM
Will it still be called Bitcoin Cash if it does take over Bitcoin. The saving on fees are to much to be ignored. And if the Asians are getting interested.....
That is not likely but in the case bitcoin cash replaced bitcoin then bitcoin cash will simply become bitcoin since it will be the new standard for cryptocurrencies, but I do not think that is going to happen, no one is using bitcoin cash except to speculate, every website is still accepting bitcoin and not bitcoin cash, so for most people bitcoin cash has not a real use except to trade with it and to try to make money.

No way for bitcoin cash to replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is supported by all of us and bitcoin cash pumpers will be upset for this in long run, certainly.
That is what I said, did you even read my post, I said that bitcoin cash is very unlikely to surpass bitcoin for the simple reason no one is using it as a currency at all, everyone is just speculating with that coin and the miners are abusing it by moving back and forth between bitcoin and bitcoin cash depending in which network is more profitable for them and as such there is no way that bitcoin cash is going to surpass bitcoin.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: November 21, 2017, 03:05:56 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
The best way to earn btc is keep working hard everyday to participate in some county campaigns like twitter i think you will get much more in 0.1 btc if you believe that you can do. Cheesy
It is impossible to get that through twitter campaigns doing campaigns can help you raise some money weekly but it is not going to allow you to reach such a high amount of money, 0.1BTC at this time is more than 800 dollars and earning that amount by just investing a few hours here and there is difficult even if you live in a first world country so I think you are asking too much money for the amount of work you want to do.
1630  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: November 21, 2017, 01:55:57 AM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
I have my serious doubts that any person will give to me such an expensive gift, we are talking about more than 8000 dollars that is a very high sum in my country and even if you live in a developed country I’m sure that is a big sum too, but assuming that someone gave me that I will say that I will keep it, the price of bitcoin is growing and it seems it is going to grow even more in the future.
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: November 21, 2017, 12:55:48 AM
For long-term, both Bitcoin and ETH are good. However, ETH seems more stable then Bitcoin, its price grow slowly. So, to get a big profit, you can choose Bitcoin. Certainly, you have to big budget
That is only because of the last months, Ethereum moved a lot more than bitcoin in the previous months and now it gives the appearance of stability but only if you look at the price in fiat, if you look at the price in bitcoin you will notice the price has been moving too with the difference the price was moving down so to me the choice is obvious we need to choose bitcoin for long term investment, it is the only coin that can guarantee long term profits.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins boom again? on: November 20, 2017, 08:03:59 PM
Is now the time to go all in on altcoins?

I am feeling sad again when I last looked at my altcoins in my Blockfolio account. My goodness! Everything's crying with blood all over my portfolio. Well, except Bitcoin. Because it is Bitcoin that is the number one culprit for all these, its $8,000 plus breaking once again. The feeling is actually both happy and sad but sad primarily because my portfolio is largely made up of altcoins. I wonder when altcoins will really boom again.
This is why creating a balanced portfolio is key, if you do not then when the market shifts you can lose a lot of money, a lot of people invested all in altcoins in the last months since that is where the profits were being made but now we saw a reversal of the trend and now bitcoin is where the profits are, this is why sometimes the best thing you can do is to wait until it is your turn, the moment of alts is going to come at some point, the only thing you need is to hold and wait for that day.
1633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin almost hitting $8000 on: November 20, 2017, 05:58:35 PM
The world largest digital currency by market capitalisation has risen as much as $7815.03.At this level, bitcoin has returned more than 700% year-to-date.
You can delete that almost from the title, now bitcoin is solidly above the 8000 dollar price, it is possible that it goes below that in the next days, but now that we have tasted it is just a matter of time before bitcoin establishes itself solidly there and eventually surpass it, now the next goal is 9000 but it is not going to take a lot of time to reach that either since in my opinion bitcoin is going to end the year with a price above 10000.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the anti government on: November 20, 2017, 04:29:11 PM
I have realized that almost every body is anti government when it comes to bitcoin and be decentralized or not being controlled by government.  Grin
Because that is whole point of bitcoin, if we wanted to use a coin created by a government we will use fiat and be done with it, bitcoin is something different, that is why it most of the time it is compared to gold since gold is just a substance of the universe and does not belong to any government, bitcoin is just a bunch of data that does not belong to any government either and we want it to remain that way.
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: November 20, 2017, 05:41:37 AM
i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?
Anything can happen at this point but at the same time bitcoin is getting such a big support from investors and people around the world that the possibility that happens is in the low side, there is simply too much money in bitcoin and too many interests that want to make bitcoin a success that they are not going to let bitcoin fail and lose money as a result.
1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: November 20, 2017, 04:37:00 AM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our money/assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Like any revolutionary technology bitcoin is a technology that is going to change the way we understand the world, if people thought that holding gold was awkward just wait until the day that holding bitcoin becomes more common than holding gold, bitcoin is way easier to hold, it is easier to save in bitcoin since you can see the price going up everyday unlike fiat, and the way transactions are made is going to change since you do not need a middle man.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2017, 12:35:44 AM
May. They can control their citizens. They can investigate the IP address access to Bitcoin sites and know who is visiting. They can block transfers and receive money from abroad without a clear purpose. If they want, they can do everything to lock Bitcoin. However, they will gradually accept Bitcoin because of the benefits it brings
If things were that easy they should have done that already, governments understand very clearly that a fight against bitcoin is impossible to win, and the more they prohibit bitcoin the more people are going to want to have it, besides they cannot ban bitcoin that easily, what grounds are they going to use to ban bitcoin? They cannot use the same grounds they use for drugs, so I think they are going to use the excuse that bitcoin is going to help money laundering.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 19, 2017, 10:00:47 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
The chance is very, very small. In each country there should be a state currency. I can not even imagine what can take away the national currency.
A big economic crisis, there are countries that no longer print their own currency  and most of the time those economies use the US dollar as a replacement which is not that good of an idea because once the dollar begins to fail then their economies are going to fail as well, but they do not have too much of a choice since their governments have showed they cannot be trusted with the responsibility to print their own currency.
1639  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: November 19, 2017, 05:20:28 PM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?

Actually it is one of the best ways to make profit nowadays, bitcoin is becoming unstapable, it increase its value almost everyday and it continues, that is why many people are buying and keeping bitcoins for long term, this is what I think is the passive income thatbthey are saying.
Holding is always profitable thing, when someone is buying biotin, if you know him or her, tell don’t do day trading as it is hard and clumsy, rather go for long term investment. Make your investment one time and you will see the huge response from coin. It will make you more profitable and rich than your expectations. Things are easy, you only need to have patience for better results.
Bitcoin holding can always be profitable but only if you hold long term, there are many people that think that just because they bought bitcoin they are going to get profits, and in this year that has been true but not every year it is going to be as good as this one, that is why the most important thing is to hold for the long term since that reduces the risk of losing money and increases the chance of making amazing profits.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 19, 2017, 03:28:54 AM
One dollar? Damn and I thought that I didn't have enough capital to invest. Dude, with one dollar you ain't doing anything - the fees that are charged from exchanges usually take 1-2 dollars, which mean you are likely to be indebted by 100% if you try to "invest" that one dollar. Please try to get some more money and put it then into crypto.. one dollars makes no sense.
One dollar is not even enough to pay the current bitcoin fees, it seems some people have a completely mistaken idea about the state of bitcoin, one dollar may have been enough right at the beginning of cryptocurrencies but now after almost 10 years if you want to make money you need to be ready to invest a good sum of money as well, one dollar is not going to cut it, in my opinion you need at least a few hundred dollars if you want to make some investments.

I don't know for sure... of course you can't pay the bitcoin fees, but in investing in really cheap alts, and with luck, maybe he could do something.
In an ideal world, I'd like to think that even people with really short income could invest in crypto and achieve some projects (maybe not to be rich, but to build something).
Plus we mustn't forget there are nowadays, even in Europa, countries where the minimum monthly income is 250 or 300$. So 1$ doesn't have the same relative value at all !! From that perspective I think we shouldn't discourage such initiatives.
But one dollar? As I said that does not cover the bitcoin fees and I’m sure that is not going to cover bank fees either and even if you found a person to trade face to face that person will need to pay the fees as well, and even if you could get something for that dollar then you will need to sent it to the exchange and so the issue with the fees will happen again, so I do not think one dollar is going to cut it in this day and age.
