I do see people come here and declare themselves as long term holders of bitcoin because they are holding for weeks to months; they are right because previously they were into intraday or sessional/trend trading which may not last for more than six months.
But, bitcoin's cycle is 4 year long which means your long term should cover at least one full cycle of bitcoin markets.
For some though, it might be long enough, maybe they are just looking for how much money they are going to profit. So instead of looking for long term investment, if they see that they have reach their target profit then they will just sell. Or there could be circumstances that investors will have to sell for reasons like emergency and personal. Of course to enjoy profits and benefits from our investment we should wait for a bit longer or at least experience a full cycle. I don't know what to say, both are unique fighters. Both have explosively powerful left hands. Ryan Garcia uses a straight guard, but his left hook is very strong.
