1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 13, 2023, 10:49:00 PM
If you are really doing something to get rid of your addiction then its possible but its not something that would really be that simple. You would really be needing that extreme mind control and discipline because fighting addiction does really need up that kind of dedication and discipline because if you dont have these things then you are really that still bound on sticking into that addiction.

Speaking about making use of loan money then you are just simply doing suicide because doing such  thing is never been that recommendable or something that you must do because
you are really putting up yourself on great danger considering that making up this kind of decision making on using loan money for you to gamble
is really just not that ideal to be done by someone whose really still at their right minds.
It is true that it is not simple but it is manageable and doable.

Those that are doing their best to get out of addiction and avoid loaning to gamble, they're doing an initiative. What must be done for them to completely get out of addiction is to be consistent.

The willingness together with temperance and consistency, the impossible can become possible for them.

If you can apply the word consistent in the changes you make slowly then it is not impossible, I mean change will always be possible but it may take time to struggle to get used to everything so as not to overdo it, at least you have made an effort and over time I am sure it will produce results that are at least good enough.

Some people especially addicts make loans as the best alternative if at that time they run out of money to bet, thinking and assuming that in the next session they will be able to win so there is absolutely no doubt for them to make a loan, but the fact remains that no matter how often and how much budget you put on gambling in reality if luck does not come at the same time then obviously the final result will always be disappointing. Borrowing money to gamble is just like you are building a new trap to trap yourself in many new problems, getting into debt? obviously that is one of the effects that will be received by gamblers who always overdo it. True, anything will be possible if you are able to apply the word consistent if you really want to change.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 13, 2023, 10:08:34 PM
This was the wrong thing to do. There are ups and downs in life and as for gambling too. Taking your life for some looses is far too unimaginable. I have seen many people losing thousands of thousands of dollars in an brink of an eye but never taking their life. Not just only with gambling but the other looses. But that doesn't mean there will always be looses. There can be no silver line without the clouds. So we should remind ourselves, suicide can never be an option.

Not only wrong but indeed I think they are stupid enough to give up their own lives just because they lose in gambling, I am sure that such people do not have an understanding or the intention is not to understand the actual concept that exists in gambling. The error  of thinking that makes them take their hopes too seriously is the main cause for a gambler to enter the addiction zone.

That is why you may often hear some advice from other people's ideas that we must be very careful in responding to gambling, there are many things there that can make you violate  the plan, especially the limits that you have built at the beginning, the weak application of self-control and boundaries makes them finally fall into the zone of addiction. In addition, the right understanding will make you a responsible gambler who can accept the risks at the end of the session. Basically, someone who has been dominated by lust will not be able to think clearly to make some considerations, all they think about is how they can gamble, the cycle of addiction creates a lot of pressure on gamblers who finally when depression and stress approach then it is not strange if they take unexpected actions such as suicide.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 13, 2023, 09:13:17 PM
Dortmund are simply working for the foreign market while they are in the Champions League. for them this will be a more priority tournament. because that's where they can show off their players and find buyers for them. After finishing their run in the Champions League they will completely focus on the Bundesliga, every year they act the same way, it works best for them and they are not going to change anything.
Yes, they don't think with champions. This means that the priority of the champion is not the main target. In addition to the system being supported by fans, I don't see much news about supporters demanding problems with the Dortmund coach and management. Last year they were almost champions but were unlucky in the last game. As long as their business targets are achieved, it seems that they remain calm with the condition of ending in the top 5.
Since they missed the championship in the last match last year, everyone expected them to compete for the championship this year, but this year they are far from that performance. They are no longer in the race for the championship, but in the race for the top 4 places. They will probably continue to watch the championship race between Bayern and Leverkusen.

Last season Dortmund were really far from lucky, I don't know if the incident was the result of mistakes they made or indeed they didn't prioritize the title so they didn't play optimally in the title match. But on the other hand however it is really unfortunate because it is only one step away for Dortmund to break the dominance of the title from Bayern Munich, with that incident then obviously I think a lot of disappointment arises especially from the fans, however this season the fans will definitely collect the title that last season failed.

As we see that this season is no longer about Dortmund and Bayern Munich but there are newcomers who are in fact stronger than Dortmund for the current conditions, so now people will focus more on Bayern Munich and Leverkusen because only these two teams look more promising in terms of certainty. Honestly this season I see Dortmund as having trouble balancing their performance with competition in the top five area, the top five is a position that is too vulnerable for Dortmund in addition to their point difference with Hoffenheim which is only 2 points away.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Target your wins in a series of bets on: December 13, 2023, 08:52:28 PM
This is my approach and through it, I don't get depress over few loses. This method works for me and I feel it will also work for others. Your opinion are highly welcomed.
If such a betting strategy works for you, I can try it too. but I'm not too focused on how many bets I should make. In sports betting, I bet only on a few matches that make me decide on a bet. let's say there are 5 matches tonight that interest me, then I will bet with my analysis or speculation. although there are other matches I might be able to bet on, I won't do it if the competing teams don't interest me. I don't think betting for higher odds. because I realize that in betting there are only two possibilities, win or lose.

but if you implement it successfully, it will make me more

Yes what the OP said may not hurt to try but maybe statistically it will not be too appropriate like what the OP did with other people in terms of the amount to be bet, because obviously not everyone has the same ability especially in terms of the amount of the budget, the point is you better put something according to your ability and also do not need to follow the amount of other people's allocations just to get a bigger amount of winnings, because on the other hand everything will not always be able to go according to your wishes, especially on the other hand however this is a probability activity that will be able to produce if you are really lucky.

So just follow your heart, feel free to try other people's methods if you are curious enough but also have to be balanced with your abilities because the final result can't always be fully predicted. On the other hand you have the freedom in terms of choosing the match to bet on, as you said you can bet when you feel like betting, my advice is always keep awareness and set limits, only that can keep you from something you don't want.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need for mental section or public orientation for new gamblers. on: December 13, 2023, 08:24:23 PM
I think there are many threads just like you have advised that deals with gambling addiction orientation and how to many gambling lifestyle as a newbie or old gambler. Mainly, we need to know that we are all responsible for our own decisions when we gamble because this we set our mindset that we are going to take full responsibility for our decisions if things go North or South.

Having a mental section or public orientation is a good approach for the new gamblers to have direct them on the ethics of gambling and how every gamblers can help each other not to get too addicted to gambling. Getting addiction in gambling is a gradual steps and if we keep it as pace, we might not realize that we are already a gambling addict. This is  one of the problems many gamblers face not knowing they are already a gambling addict.

That's right, all decisions are only our own to manage about what decisions we will make and for the impact of the decision only we will feel it, people will not care about what you experience and also with what decisions you will make, so of course all responsibility is in your hands. Coming with the right mindset and direction along with a fairly awake mentality will keep you fine in your next gambling involvement, these basic things really have to be considered I think, because that will determine what your fate will be in the future. Honestly, these days I see more and more people getting into gambling addiction unconsciously, like you said everything goes gradually and their inability to realize some indications that could potentially lead to unwanted things makes them end up in the addiction zone. Basically some are aware and some are not, I think for anyone there is nothing wrong with doing a reset and evaluating their activities on gambling especially those who have been involved first, if indeed you find that there is a decline in your finances after knowing gambling then obviously changes must be made immediately.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 13, 2023, 07:33:29 PM
Do you guys also follow a similar strategy like gambling with 1% or 2% on each game? This way not only we are safe from losing big amounts but at the same time, we never find ourselves in a situation where we go all in, in some bet and then have the fear of losing all of our money.

I don't follow that procedure nor will I call it a strategy. I will gamble depending on my self-decision at that moment. In gambling, either winning or losing, both can bring out the eagerness of the gambler to just continue. Any supposed percentage of the money won't surely be followed properly because of that eagerness. Even if we already reached that said percentage as a limit, it won't give an assurance that we will stop from there.

Just try to force ourselves to stop at a given point where we think shit is now happening and the bankroll will soon be wrecked.

Agree with you, there is no percentage strategy in placing bets when gambling, because it has no effect on the winning results that we will get. In my opinion, the right strategy is the right behavior by being able to control yourself appropriately and being aware within yourself that winning and losing will definitely happen.

If a gambler bets with only 1% of his money but plays continuously, he will still suffer huge losses due to the lack of good control when gambling. So what you say is true, trying to force yourself to stop when you have spent a lot of money or have won, in my opinion that is a good strategy or step in gambling.

The truth is that if you are involved in purely luck-based betting then obviously any method or strategy that you bring and apply to gambling is actually not going to be useful at all, okay yes maybe you see that the strategy is useful when used by other people with successful wins but I want to ask if the people you see can get consistent results by applying the strategy? honestly will say no and I don't believe it, and I'm sure maybe you only see when they get one win using that strategy so you believe that the strategy can really be useful and influential to increase the percentage of luck.

Honestly I've tried some strategies that my friend said had a pretty good percentage of increasing the chances of winning but when I tried it didn't work at all and I lost quite a lot of money at the time. So basically if you want to engage in gambling better don't think about anything including something that can get you closer to winning, better just focus on some precautions such as self-control and limits. And also no matter how much you budget even though the value is very small if you do it quite often then obviously the amount of defeat will still be large. The right thing is, limit the budget and also limit your time to gamble, these two things cannot be separated if you really don't want to suffer a lot of losses.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 13, 2023, 06:59:32 PM
This is because winning gives joy and increase your bankroll. Even people that are gambling for fun wouldn't never put it in their mind of losing because since they are disciplined gamblers, they will love to spend less of their income on gambling and play more games. So if they win, it will be a plus to their upfront games that they will bet on. It is in human that every good things is worth having over and over again and this also applies to gamble. The more you win the more you keep playing because you believe that you will continue winning, but most times this turns out to be the opposite.

Perhaps you are right, the jackpot is something that changes the life of the winner but also affects emotions. I can't imagine what kind of explosion of endorphins occurs in a person's head, and perhaps for the brain it is much more valuable than the actual gain in monetary terms. And it's scary, because it's very difficult to calm down in this state. And only a few will be able to tell themselves: I was just lucky, I need to calm down, take the money and leave the world of gambling.

The change from someone hitting a jackpot from gambling won't last long and it's only temporary because soon they'll be back to risking that money on gambling in the next few sessions and then losing again, on the other hand I would say it's a real victory if you can refrain from putting that money back into gambling, but I think that kind of defense is quite difficult to do, like humans when they have managed to get something quite easily then obviously they will come back again with the intention of getting a much bigger amount.

The burst of endorphins they feel when they get such a surprise from luck makes them feel like they have the upper hand, assuming that they already have a way to get the next win is very certain in the brain system, and after that the overreaction is likely to increase. Basically, it is not uncommon or even the first scenario for people to get into deeper and deeper involvement in what we call addiction.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: December 13, 2023, 06:39:47 PM

When someone gambles responsibly, by setting boundaries and knowing the odds, they are exercising their freedom and ability to control themselves. Staying away from gambling isnt the only thing that matters; making smart choices and knowing yourself are also important. So, while we acknowledge the risks of gambling, lets also recognize the power of human agency. Although our brains are naturally wired to seek benefits, they can also think clearly and control themselves. Dont undervalue that.

Having a correct and straight understanding of what is recommended about gambling will make someone automatically apply some restrictions and they will unconsciously be one of the people responsible for the gambling they do. Honestly, I understand that staying away from gambling activities is indeed a better path that should be chosen, but on the other hand, if you don't feel that the activity is  interfering  with your life, especially in terms of finances, then I think there is nothing wrong if you still want to be involved in this activity. as long as you still have that kind of understanding and awareness so you don't get carried  away and end up addicted.

Recognizing the risks and understanding that gambling is only a game of probability means that you will have  no difficulty in implementing several preventive measures as they should be. I think with the correct awareness and understanding it will make  it easier for anyone to make considerations in choosing something that should be done in order to become better. Good.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 13, 2023, 06:05:51 PM
I’m actually surprised that the majority won’t be spending more money in casino because it is common that people start looking and deriving means to get Christmas money. Just like most people gamble because they have a financial problem they want to settle, some would do it more because they have a place they would have love to spend some time this Christmas and need to make the money from somewhere (and they always want the money fast too, haha).
Not every gambler gambles only for financial reasons but some gamblers only gamble for entertainment. Just as we play cricket, football, badminton and other sports for entertainment, there are people who gamble for entertainment. Gambling is difficult for those who have financial weakness because managing money for gambling is not an easy task when having financial weakness. Not everyone gambles at this time of December, rather those who are already involved in gambling prefer to gamble a little more but those who are not involved in gambling may spend the extra money on other activities. Whether a person gambles or does something else when they get extra money is entirely a personal decision, but we can only assume that when gamblers get extra money, they spend a portion of that money on gambling.

But lately I see more people who gamble with the intention and purpose of improving their finances or the intention of getting some benefits through winning rather than just looking for fun and entertainment. Lack of financial strength obviously makes it difficult for someone to put money into gambling but on the other hand it is not uncommon for some poor people to force themselves to put money into gambling even though it is not big because their main focus is on multiplying and not for entertainment.

Basically, it is only people or some people who choose to allocate their intentions to gambling activities in this holiday season, and most of them are people who know gambling or have been involved in this activity for a long time. Of course, everyone has their own choices in terms of choosing a place to enjoy the holiday season, on the other hand, I am sure that someone who knows gambling, especially those who are active in gambling, will prefer to put their intentions on gambling when the holiday season has arrived rather than choosing to enjoy it with a vacation with family to several tourist attractions for example.

1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 13, 2023, 05:41:42 PM
If both husband and wife are addicted to gambling in a family then that family does not seem to prosper. The happiness and peace of a family is lost due to gambling. Those once involved in gambling can never quit gambling. Gambling is very dangerous.  Due to which family happiness is lost to those who are addicted to winning. When husband and wife gamble they will go very badly.  When the two gamble together, they have no one to rule them, for which they become very reckless.

Well, if they are good at what they do (if they are sports bettors or poker players) maybe they will prosper... who knows? It's hard to make any conclusions without all the factors. Anyway, people have passions and hobbies, and if they are careful with money, like if they know how much they can spend on things they like, I don't think they will get into any problems. In the end, it's all about being responsible... some people are responsible, they know how much they have and how much they can spend on something. And if people are reckless they will get into huge problems sooner or later, whatever they do.

But on the other hand, we must understand that one of the causes that can finally make them both enter the addiction phase is because of excessive actions in responding to gambling, mindset and beliefs become the main problem why they can enter such a phase. This means that I think it is quite difficult to be able to achieve the word "good" in terms of gambling management although it can always be a possibility, but most of them have difficulty in doing or implementing some actions for prevention.

The difficulty of applying responsibility to gambling activities makes a person get more involved, unable to accept the final result that can make them disappointed or even cry also makes them try more with the intention of revenge or reaching a break-even point, this cycle of addiction will never be completed if it is not overcome with enough awareness. So in conclusion I think in this case the correct understanding that can make them apply good responsibility in order to manage all their gambling activities whether in terms of budget or time.

1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 13, 2023, 05:02:37 PM

Setting a time is the best thing to do when gambling as it can be really amusing at the beginning and you get lost in the entertainment which leads you to only realize that you have lost money after quite some time.In online casinos this can be implemented easily by the person who is gambling as he can set a time limit in his phone or computer while in offline casinos intentionally they don't put watches in the walls so the person has no idea how much he has played unless he uses his phone here too as a time limiter.

Yes that's right, limiting time in gambling activities is really recommended for anyone and even for a professional, by applying such restrictions then obviously indirectly it makes you able to prevent things that don't want to happen, and on the other hand I think not only that should be prepared but in terms of budget must also be considered and limited, just like we limit in terms of time to gamble. These two things are really important when you are involved in gambling, not least because with time and budget limits then I think you will have less chance of falling into gambling activities too deeply.

What you're saying makes a lot of sense in terms of the difference between how this is implemented in online and physical casinos, and I think one of the things that can make you forget about the time limit of your involvement in gambling besides the absence of a wall clock is the fact that circumstances also have a big influence, the excitement and atmosphere in physical gambling can make someone almost forget about going home, unless maybe they've run out of all their money.

1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 06:33:15 PM
It's called a heater mate.

You are supposed to keep playing on the heater until you meet a cold section. Most of us especially me, sometimes on the heater not only keep playing but raise the bet by maybe 20-50%. In the heater, you can turn on for 2-4 weeks lose back to even with just a single section. One things people should aware, just need to set up a limit win and stop while you got cold section (streak/multiple lose) after your heater.

Yes, the chance are same but one things people should learn keep doing/bet on heater until you lose after keep betting + raise your bet and then bet back to original bet. That's it, and then call the day.

some of the gamblers however don't stop as they hope to keep winning.  i think everyone feels lucky when we win 3-4 times in a row and if happens after every 1 loss, its really a time to increase the bets.

the martingale strategy looks very fun to try when you are new to gambling actually and you always feel lucky when you try it. the more you win the more you wanted to start with more than the usual starting amount.

Not some but I think it's more like "most" gamblers prefer to act out of control, or that means doing things that they can't really afford to lose, it's like wanting to win but not willing to lose, isn't it ridiculous? obviously. Greed will have a major role when luck accompanies you in the session you are doing, one of the reasons is that they try to take advantage of the situation and conditions to get a much bigger win, on the other hand are you sure that luck is still with you at that time? unknown, anyone will never know when luck comes and when it leaves, which is why it is very difficult to get a win and from dozens of attempts there will only be a few or even one win.

That is indeed quite tempting, but on the other hand allowing yourself to continue to be carried away by the situation is really not recommended and must be avoided, the satisfaction of lust will have no limit, meaning that even if you can get a large number of wins it will not be able to make you realize to leave and there is only that you will again increase the multiplier for even bigger wins. Simply put, "winning is addictive and losing is curious" is what gambling is all about and the point is that there should at least be time for you to go home and enjoy it.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2023, 06:00:51 PM
A draw is not a bad result for Leverkusen because this club has not experienced defeat in the Bundesliga, Leverkusen is the only club that has not been defeated in all competitions and this is an extraordinary achievement. I did not think that Xabi Alonso could make Leverkusen at an unbeatable level even though the club has played many matches, namely 22 matches, Xabi Alonso is truly an extraordinary coach.

Leverkusen have drawn three matches this season and won all the others. And in these three matches, Leverkusen's opponents were the strongest teams in the Bundesliga. They shared points against Bayern Munich, Stuttgart and Dortmund. It would not be wrong to say that these three teams are the three best teams in the Bundesliga. So sharing points in these three matches is not a bad result.

Leverkusen is arguably the most consistent team in the Bundesliga this season. Bayern Munich suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat against Frankfurt in the last match. And because of this, Munich are now 2 points behind Leverkusen. We don't know when we will see Bayern Munich at the top of the table.
Xabi guidance this season has the aim of winning the title in the bundesliga and in other european league competitions so that Leverkusen has stronger stability at the moment to the point that it has never been defeated, even Bayern Munich feels challenged by Leverkusen performance which looks more consistent as you said.
but if Leverkusen wants to win the title here, at least they have to really maintain the team consistency and immediately give up more or less points difference so that they can't catch up with Leverkusen points.

That's the main goal of the changes they've made, on the other hand I think it's quite difficult to be able to make changes to be so extraordinary like this in just a short time, last season Leverkusen looked ordinary and not too tight in giving competition to their opponents in every match, but now the situation is different, they are almost unbeaten in every match, even as you said a team like Bayern Munich really felt troubled by their significant performance which was also very surprising.

Yes it is clear, the main key is consistency, Leverkusen must be able to survive or maintain this state of performance until the end of the season and until the last match which will determine the championship arrives. On the other hand, Leverkusen have been able to get through two matches that are not easy in their last two matches, namely against Dortmund and VfB, it's a pretty good result even though they have to share points but the point is they don't lose points at all and can keep crawling up to get further away from Bayern Munich's points. With some satisfactory results they have passed I think they have a greater chance of breaking Bayern Munich's title dominance, we will see.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: December 12, 2023, 05:33:54 PM
Everybody lose on slots unfortunately no matter who they are,the slots are so addictive that rarely the slot lovers can quit them and as soon as you can't quit them you will lose money in the short and long term.Even if you hit that max win you will spend it in a such a fast way that you will keep losing no matter what you are able to do with your money.

That is why it is recommended that people stop playing slots otherwise they will lose money in the longer term and there is no coming back from playing slots,do not be deceived by those guys showing you the streams where they win as they are playing with sponsored money so quit as long as you are able to as once you jump in the wagon of slot addiction there is no turning back.

There is a small, tiny fraction of people who actually get the big win from time to time.

That's what makes it attractive to many people, the chance, the hope of winning it.

yes, casino marketers are smart and they know that
so they use this rare wins as a way to give people hope so they keep betting
but we know that in the end of the day the house is the winner everytime

Marketers or some people who can be called special agents or casino partners know about something whether it's a way or anything as a leak from the casino that most gamblers don't have. No more some big wins that they get and show just to attract more audience to get involved in the casino they are promoting. I often see that promotion is done by some people who have good prestige or are quite famous in their world which of course has quite a lot of followers who will indirectly become their target market.

The big wins seem endless when they do it, logically it is very impossible for someone to get such a good win or luck, you have to really suspect before finally putting interest in trying it. It's like a brainwashing event and scenario through several rounds that look very tempting, and obviously the sensation that is shown can really change the mindset and beliefs of someone who sees it, they want to have the same fate, without realizing that there are third parties who arrange everything behind the scenes, the house always has the upper hand, that's clear.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 12, 2023, 05:13:31 PM
The compassionate gambler loses themselves this is right because there are many gamblers who become so addicted that they can't stop themselves knowing the harmful side of it so at some point they lose everything and live a life of despair. It is foolish to control your emotions in gambling and expect to win even if you suffer losses. Also they keep running after the victory no one can give the exact news of when the victory will be here. People with gambling addiction often overthink gambling they can constantly plan their next gambling session. Therefore if the probability of losing is high it is better to proceed with rest for a few days in which case the probability of losing gamblers will be reduced a lot.
This is true and has been experienced by many gamblers who lose control of themselves in gambling, so they experience despair in gambling and end up losing a lot of money, especially if they chase their winnings. Those who know that there are gamblers who have lost a lot do feel sadness and sympathize with the gambler, but if the gambler doesn't try to change what he has done, people won't care anymore. They will allow gamblers who don't want to wake themselves up from their gambling addiction so that people will only look at them until the gambler asks them for help. That is why gamblers who have lost a few dollars should immediately take a break for a few days so that they can recover their emotions and relieve their tension after receiving everything they have experienced from gambling.

I think the bad impact like that is quite natural for them to experience as a result of their actions and point of view  on gambling that is always excessive by putting hope in a place that is basically not recommendeed at all to bring a mindset to produce. Experiencing a large amount of defeat is indeed quite alarming, everyone will certainly  regret the bad luck they have to face, but that's the result. If I were around them then there might not be much I would do or even just advice I would not isssue..

Let it go because for someone who has entered the addiction zone it is very difficult to give advice, they have difficulty digesting some of the advice they get from other people based on common sense, differences in beliefs are one of the main causes. So maybe it's just a matter of time, I'm sure they will really be able to realize when they feel traumatized by the impact they receive / experience from excessive gambling. Another thing is that you must understand that the moree often you are involved in gambling, the greater the possibility of unwanted things happening, I think this understanding is specifically for those who are still not too severe in their involvement.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: December 12, 2023, 04:40:43 PM

It is very clear that the deeper or more often a person is involved in gambling, the more adrenaline will also be triggered, the reason is because you will meet more and more moments that are quite tantalizing there, such as moments that you should be able to get a big win but instead fail just because of something, and that is what makes the gambler's adrenaline even more stimulated and wants to come again to bet in the hope of getting the moment that has been missed and failed. Addiction more often comes unconsciously or unnoticed by gamblers due to their excessive behavior, they feel normal in their gambling activities even though behind the scenes they feel that there are financial problems that they are now feeling but strangely cannot conclude that all these problems come from their excessive gambling activities.

It's good to make a judgment before it's too late, but it's usually very difficult to come to a realization when the gambler is already in the high adrenaline phase, which is why nothing else they do is even considered, they just want to gamble and keep gambling. On the other hand, it seems that they will only be able to make some considerations to find better decisions when they have experienced a downturn that traumatizes them and reaches consciousness.
Not just 'almost-won' scenarios, but the complete digital ecosystem engineered to tempt and entrap. Our brains want dopamine and are easily manipulated. The illusion of control and overconfidence in skills drive us to chase losses. Ironically, near-win thrill leads to addiction. Admitting addiction takes courage. This is a war against oneself and the brain's rush-seeking wiring. Gamblers are sometimes blinded by the chase of the next big victory and don't recognize the financial trap. The cycle is harmful. When do they brake? Tragically, they typically wait until rock bottom. Intervention and awareness are crucial. Responsible gambling and early addiction detection need more attention. Family and friends are vital. They usually identify warning indicators first. It's about stopping the loop before it escalates. Fighting addiction takes strength, support, and occasionally a wake-up call from life

Exactly, that indeed the levels of substances in dopamine will be able to increase more when someone feels an unusual sensation that certainly gives them an extraordinary feeling of pleasure. It makes a person always hallucinate without limits, there is no control that is asserted or the limits that they have previously made almost forgotten, when you are in such a position then there is nothing else you think about other than a positive point of view on gambling especially putting high hopes on a victory, the fact is that good results always depend on how lucky you are at that time but they seem to have forgotten this fact because high hopes and beliefs make them unable to make considerations based on common sense.

"Almost winning" will of course always be their main concern and focus, instead of looking for reasons why at that time they failed to win but what they think is just the opposite which is more motivated and feels challenged to return to achieving moments like that again. Even though the fact is that different times mean different results too, or the point is that if in the first session you almost won it doesn't mean that when you enter the second session you can continue such moments again to achieve a delayed victory. Gamblers who are already addicted have a really confusing position, they just spin in a worrying cycle, the wrong mindset and beliefs make it difficult for them to get out of the addiction zone.

But that's not the issue why I gamble less, I am already not rich, I gamble very little normally as well, if I really wanted to, I would have gotten 50 bucks more and just kept gambling, that's not it, during this period I am super busy, so it means that I do not really have any time to gamble at all, I just have to end up gambling normally when I get some more time.

Time will go on and the wheel will always turn, maybe now is the time when you are unlucky with your fate or that means now you are experiencing a  decline in life, especially in terms of financial and financial insufficiency. On the other hand, is your downfall the result of your involvement in gambling? If so, it seems that you should do something as a precautionary measure for a change, but if not, it means that there are other things that are beyond the control of me and others for the problems you are facing.

On the other hand you have a pretty good busy life, I think that being busy intentionally or unintentionally on other things is better than you having a lot of free time, because usually the curiosity and desire to gamble will  always come when you don't know what to do in your free time. I hope  that even if your busy period is over I hope you find some other activities that are useful  and that can keep you busy enough to avoid the urge to get involved in gambling, honestly I personally always do this method..

Hey house someone need a few clips here, don't know if a post of this exact nature has been discussed though.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.
If there's one who should quit then for me it's the wife since often she is the one managing the finances. Therefore if the wife is a gambler, she might get tempted to spend their household budget into gambling (but this still depends on the level of her gambling activity). On the other side, if both gamble just to have fun, I don't think one should quit to give way for the other. Communication and understanding each other are the key so that they still prioritize their family in general. And just gamble during free time using a money meant for their leisure.

The truth is that gambling is an activity that is not recommended, no matter if you come with the intention of seeking entertainment because something always cannot be fully predicted, I mean some people have become victims that involvement just for entertainment does not always rule out the possibility that you will also end up badly like people who are already addicted or you will end up in the same position as them. And if we have to choose between the husband or the wife who should quit first then your statement is quite reasonable, a wife has a fairly important role in terms of managing the budget for the cost of home needs that are provided by the husband from the results of the work that produces.

And obviously if a wife does not immediately stop then the possibility for things that are not wanted is very likely to happen, the fear is that she could use most of the budget provided by her husband to be allocated to gambling as you have said above and that is possible, and another thing is in terms of good communication that is really needed so that everything can run in balance, especially in the allocation of the budget between gambling and needs, do not be one-sided in the sense that they are more concerned with gambling, awareness must really be emphasized.

Exactly, some gamblers who are addicted go through scenarios like this where they forget the time to go home and end up being carried away and trapped in a black hole far from the exit, there is nothing but a cycle that they will continue to do indefinitely. unless you can achieve consciousness. The OP has mentioned a good suggestion for an approach to not end up addicted, and to encourage that it can actually be done is by adding warnings as you said one of which might be setting an alarm to remind you that the session is over, no matter at the end by losing or winning.

On the other hand, the first point that must always be paid attention to is awareness, they must really be able to maintain full awareness when gambling, because that will be able to minimize unwanted things, especially so that you don't get carried away by pleasant circumstances. even though it is nothing more than a trap to get you further involved, limiting time, hopes/expectations and budget in each session is really recommended for being a healthy gambler.

the real enemy when it comes to addiction is yourself and not anyone else. hence, before you reach that stage much better to observe list of possible things that you can easily do to prevent such scenario such as -
1. set your daily/weekly/monthly limit and be firm with it
2. look for alternative activities whenever your bankroll is already busted -exercise, doing some chores or unfinished projects at home
3. find other hobbies that you think can replace gambling if you are not playing
4. connect with your loved ones, family, friends, relatives or people around you. sometimes they are just waiting for you to have conversation with them. with gadgets everywhere, for sure, some people don't know anymore how to socialize
5. meditate
6. think of the things that you really want to buy if you spend all your money to your games

That's right, the other person or even the casino is never involved with the scenario you approach gambling, the wrong mindset is one of the biggest triggers why you can get into the addiction zone. Well done, you have given very good advice and warnings here by observing some things that need to be done for prevention so that we do not get carried away and enter the addiction phase. I think some of the lists you've suggested above will be very useful for those who are already addicted or especially those who are just coming into it.

Limiting the amount of daily/monthly or yearly budget is very important and try to only put the amount that you can afford, don't be careless to try to put a larger amount because it is lured by a win that seems tantalizing, it's a trap believe me. Not only that, in terms of time should also really be considered, most people can get into addiction because they are too often involved in gambling so that they are carried away unconsciously. Therefore we must have other things to do when you are really feeling lonely such as doing other activities in your real life, homework or whatever. Because the fact is that the more free time you have, the more likely you are to remember gambling, so don't let yourself have too much free time. The rest I totally agree with the idea of the statements in the list you suggested, that's great mate.

Only some of them or some of them can get a win when at the beginning of their involvement luck comes at the same time when they have a session, the title above is just a warning if in the first session of  gambling you get a win then you should not easily believe and not say that all gamblers will get a win at the beginning of their involvement.
As you said, there are still many gamblers out there who have spent a lot of money but still have not won at all, and that is a big reason for the statement that "gambling is just about luck".

On the other hand, the warning made by the OP is very good, because lately I have seen that it is true that gamblers who put too much hope and confidence in income from gambling when in the early stages they can already get a win, the luck that comes at the beginning is like brainwashing them into assuming that "gambling is an effective way to earn" even though the initial victory is nothing more because at the same  time luck also comes. So it is hoped that for you and those especially who have just come to better understand what gambling is along with the concept of victory and the risks that are there, it is very useful so that you are not carried away by negative currents and end up in a slump.
With hopes aglow in our hearts and fantasies of little victories sparkling in our eyes, we enter their territory. We tell ourselves, "It's my lucky day," as we hold our first, delicious victory, the beginner's trophy. The worst part is that it's a deceptive illusion, a trap. How many people have entered with their pockets full of beginner's luck only to emerge with their pockets empty? Infinite, my companion. Yes, we have seen them. The bright-eyed newcomers, telling stories of their "unbeatable" systems and "foolproof" techniques. Comedy gold!

And so, here's the paradox: we're tempted, are we not, even if we know better? It's intoxicating - the rush, the adrenaline. Let's not fool ourselves, though. We are the consenting marionettes of a master puppeteer, and that is gambling. They say the house always wins, and who are we to disagree? Therefore, let's remember to take a quick look in the mirror as we laugh at the naivete of others. Do we differ in any way?

The first win at the beginning of the engagement can indeed change the mindset of a gambler significantly, some people may consider that winning is a normal thing because they understand that they are in gambling activities which basically have wins and losses, but for some people who really have very high enthusiasm they will exaggerate it or mean that victory by creating many assumptions in their minds that can trigger the arrival of a high enough confidence. They like to build scenarios in their own minds to make them believe more in the results of gambling, none other than that because they are too exaggerated in responding to the first victory which ultimately makes them have high confidence and expectations, when in fact it is not based on common sense but only based on hallucinations, they like digging deeper holes to trap themselves.

A scenario that runs in the brain that is not based on awareness and not considered with common sense will produce something that will deceive yourself, in fact it is not the casino that deceives you but yourself and your own mindset that makes you feel disappointed in the end because the results are far from appropriate. I think understanding is one of the most important things here so that you are not misguided.
