This is such a bad news, and I hope that we all can learn even more lessons from this, always gamble with not more than you can afford to lose, gambling is risky, to be on the safer side, gambling primary for fun and let the profit be secondary, this is something Ive seen other users say here, and I am still joining them to say same thing.

Suicide is never an option whether it's lose of money, or lose of a loved ones or any kind of lose in life. It certainly never was and never will be. Just like you said one may lose $20,000 or $50,000, but that doesn't mean that's the end of the world for them. I feel bad for that guy. I really do. I am just thinking about his family how hard will it be for them for accepting the truth that their child is no more. May he rests in peace. Yes it should be like that, I think no matter how big the problem they are experiencing but it is still stupid if they commit suicide or choose that action, however life cannot be paid for with anything because it is so precious. I think it looks like the man has a very weak mentality or and at that time emotions were so uncontrollable that he was desperate to end his life. That's the danger of gambling if you come with the wrong intentions or that is not recommended, so consider some of the people closest to you including those here who often give some positive advice regarding gambling whether in terms of limits or control, it is very important and if you ignore all of that then maybe you will experience a lot of problems and great pressure so that you cannot control yourself and act out of control, I think this case is the worst and reckless I have ever found. |

So, I don't agree with your friend who blames the other friend for introducing gambling to him because he had the choice to not gamble and say no to the friend when he asked, I'm sure he didn't drag him into the casino forcefully and make him gamble by force and it was his own choice to do that at the end of the day.
A person who blames others because he become a gambler is like a child. He knows that gambling don't give him winnings everytime, but because his friend played and won, he wants it. But if his expectations don't match, he blames his friend, that's a mistake. Because everyone can offer anything, but the decision comes from themselves. He should be aware of this. Of course, I would probably say the same thing that they are nothing more than children who are far from mature and don't seem to recognize or have any sense of responsibility for the activity they are doing. I think it's ridiculous to blame other people for your losses when you know from the start that gambling is all about winning and losing, as I said earlier that there's no sense of self-responsibility in that person. Everyone gets different results when it comes to gambling especially the amount of winnings, if you lose but your friends win it means you are far from lucky and vice versa, and also in my opinion it is unethical if you come just because you see your friends win even though this is basically what always invites many people to get involved, but on the other hand the problem is that if you already know that gambling is about winning and losing then you shouldn't blame others for your losses, so understanding can make them come to their senses and that's what I think should be emphasized. |

That's right, there are many other good ways to entertain yourself if you feel sad and feel like you're alone in life. Yes, it hurts to be left behind but it doesn't mean the end of the world for you, you have to get up and move on because there are many other opportunities waiting for you. Don't ruin your life with gambling, there are many other things you can do besides that.
I think loneliness is the reason why people want to gamble, it's too kill our free time. But when you feel sad and feel alone in this life, that means you're not in a good condition, so could do something stupid or may harm yourself. To overcome this, one should try to deal with himself, try to find a good way to fill your energy. For an introvert can try to take me time, while for extrovert can try to meet with other people. This idea does make sense and the OP has given one of the headings that cause someone to enter and get involved in gambling. Everyone has experienced loneliness and whether they choose gambling or something else to occupy their time is a choice and it is also quite possible that circumstance could be the driving force behind why they choose gambling. I have one scenario where they are lonely and then open their gatget and accidentally find one of the promotions from an online gambling site and that's where it all starts, I don't think I need to continue this scenario because you can probably guess what will happen next. So basically I think they can get into gambling in any way whether intentionally or not and one of them is this loneliness, the danger is when you try it and then you keep an interest in the activity. Yes usually this kind of scenario will be very likely to happen to those who are introverts and to minimize it they should try to be more open to the outside world such as playing with friends or relatives, it will be useful to distract you from gambling. |
