It has no precious user data like other sites do.
The site could probably implement user wallets and accounts at satoshidice.com. The site very well may be worth $100m+, but that's a lot of money to put toward doing it yourself and marketing the piss out of it. Why would they need to make their own wallet, when blockchain.info wallet already has a direct satoshidice feature? In reference to collecting user data. If the site takes user registrations, and includes a wallet, users will be more likely to stay there. For users that are more interested in gambling than in the bitcoin movement, they might enjoy having an account. This would enable things like animated bets and interactive aspects playing the game. It would also give a way to collect email addresses to announce new features, games, or products. The website could also have a simple guide to help users that are new to bitcoin get set up with a personal wallet , etc. Just thinking out loud...

And according to ADX (pic few posts above), nice selloff should start somewhere here.
No historic precedents where rally continues after ADX reverses from 84.
It's the weekend dip, by Thursday we'll break 22.

Wow, not bad!: In fact, playing is so easy that you can do it without even visiting the website. For example, if you have Bitcoins, try sending them to the address:

Hopefully a big vegas player comes and buys s.dice I'm not sure if that's the ideal situation though. What could S.DICE realistically sell out for? And, at what price is it more prudent for a buyer to just start his own operation?

anyone receive their usd deposit to camp in the last few days?
They've been slow lately.

It took them about 14 hours to clear my most recent Dwolla deposit (this was after I submitted a ticket). They say Dwolla deposits should only take 6 hours.
Maybe they have an influx of transactions they can't keep up with?

I asked the owner about this topic a few days ago actually, and he convinced me that all that would happen if there were inside betting like this, would be that shareholders would eventually get all the money.
But, to run with this theory, this is only "harmless" fluffing of numbers if the whale loses. But, if the whale has a winning record, does that simply snake dividends from the 10% stakeholders?
I'm probably missing something here that makes this impossible, but if it's possible, there's essentially very little reason for the 90% stakeholder(s) not to constantly bet big on themselves, no?

I opened an account with them and sent a check for $200 to get started. The check cleared on 1/17/13 and they still show nothing in my account.
I can't blame that on incompetence. Would you let your bank handle your money like that?
I've submitted tickets. When you get the automated response, it says you can track your ticket, and then sends you to a site where you can't.
I can't wait to get my money out of there!
Coinbase is so much easier. They can automatically withdraw and deposit money to your checking account.
Wishing us all luck.
When using CampBX, I only fund it from a Dwolla account. You will note that it always takes several days after the ACH has been drawn to show up in Dwolla too. Mailing a check seems like you are asking for delays. These things take time, this is not MasterCard you are dealing with.

... The high roller uses the following 8 addresses, by the way: 15HJgkvj6roZQvNRC3pUJNKP2YgfEuD8wo 17sjYPaYJAvtwXM2q5ojzrCiYewnQMBi9y 1A3z7M6GhpUejQ5eqgSyjVWRuezeepdKKV 1B5h9sf6xNLYGa3NBk48hwYbxyNZ22PRJk 1DBH7Xum2re7LXd8YNSe1uRznttsqeMXGK 1Di6ux3CQBNXCZLD76BsnYWDo6XnFGzQah 1EP4rM8hLZCRSWPNZDWJp9zdvmoWYkkgbQ 1MxgyKiKiHEemMUTJuq9NAbjmhKnUL5Ric
You obviously know what you are doing Can you figure out, how and where did the coin get to those accounts? I still like my "idea" (more like a speculation) that this mysterious whale is sdice guy(s) himself and he is only trying to make sdice looks stronger and more profitable to possible future investors. Only problem is, he "fucked up" and sdice "lost" a boat load of coin Even if S.DICE was being fluffed, it would come at 10% expense to the "whale" while losing, because 10% of the dividends are public. Anyone can bet what they want on the site, even majority shareholders with less to lose (because they'll see some of their losses come back thru dividends). This is only a problem if the odds are in the whale's favor, I think...

I've used campbx for a dozen or so deposits and no issues. Yesterday, they were about 3 or 4 hours slower than usual, but they pushed it thru as soon as I opened a ticket. I keep all my transactions under $1000 though...

Is that to say, that once the double spends iron out, the total could be different, and these numbers aren't necessarily totally confirmed yet?

I hope it's just a fluke and no one's found an angle.

id harldy call the current price a bubble I'm still not sure if it's because of a rise in demand, or just because of an expectation of rise in demand. If its the latter and the expected demand doesn't trigger than it will have been a bubble. But that seems unlikely at the moment. It's both, hoarding by old & new users. Lots of support, for now.

It just remains to choose which area to move to.
Definitely "Securities". Like FTWbitcoinFTW suggests, it could even include other useful data for quick reference, like daily profit/loss, projected monthly dividend per share, or whichever stats make the most sense. I could also see MPEx or Havelock building these reports into their system for shareholders. The S.DICE business model does provide a unique opportunity to pinpoint the current value per share pretty closely... barring unexpected expense claims from the company, and "bad" months I guess...

I just want to thank you for doing these stats daily You're welcome. There's a link in my signature for that... Just waiting to move some funds around 2112 is correct, this thread probably is probably better off in another forum category.

While there are reasons a person might want to "burn" addresses, it is not necessary.
