Had to move to another pool, sorry.

The way things are headed (with the exchange rate) it looks like our bonds could possibly take another 30% haircut this month.

Hopefully, there are some radical adjustments being made to the bot's volatility pricing component.

There does seem to be an awful lot of "hope" and "trust" in this, um, scheme.

MP has said publicly that the bot hasn't been changed.  Who knows though, I doubt he's relishing another 23k hit.

All bitcoin investing requires a healthy amount of trust and risk.

You guys with the long delays, do you use the Windows bitcoin-qt wallet, or blockchain.info wallet, or?
1684  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 09, 2013, 05:05:38 AM
What is the cutoff time for acquiring new shares for the Burnside ASICMINER-PT to still receive dividends for that week?

J.

Up until the moment the div payment clears from AM, and til Burnside initiates the dividend. So Wednesday morning, roughly.

Could someone link me to where Friedcat discusses issuing test units to board members? What is the latest news on that?

I'm having trouble finding the info...
1686  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: April 08, 2013, 08:17:18 PM
It's been many days, I sent .004 BTC to one of the lucky number addresses and never got a response. Using Bitcoin-qt. The transaction is confirmed. What's the issue?

Thanks
Min bet is 0.01.

Since value of BTC jumped (10x) from $14.40 in Jan to ~$190 any consideration of moving Min bet from 0.01 a decimal place to 0.001?

Erik said this is likely.

No worries you can make it all back at satoshidice.com in like 10 minutes.

Thanks for the update, any plans to put some LTC-ATF up for sale again?
1689  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCTC][[ASICMINER-PT]] - Public trading of ASICMINER shares on: April 06, 2013, 03:25:40 PM
I had the same idea, and I am considering opening another PT for this purpose. I assumed people would be interested in making the most of their shares.
1690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 06, 2013, 02:47:48 PM
I agree with all of this....

You could actually make sense of it?  Sometimes the people in this thread make way too many assumptions.

Share value is plummeting.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 05, 2013, 05:08:12 PM
Short bitcoin now, or play out final leg....

Could be a loooong leg.
1695  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: April 04, 2013, 10:14:55 PM
I've received them now, took very long time for me. Thx for the reply though, evoorhees!

Do you have any ideas why so many of my bets now takes kinda long time to get processed? Majority of the bets takes 15-20 minutes..strange, huh? Wasn't like that yesterday.
I'm using the 'regular' Bitcoin client, Bitcoin-Qt it's called right? Is there perhaps a better alternative for a client when betting at SD ?

Take care!'

Remember, SatoshiDice does not run the blockchain, so your winnings might take different amounts of time depending on miners.

Are you waiting for winnings, or to find out if you won?

In the meantime, consider that a few days ago, The MtGox new user verification queue was about 5000 people in line. Today it is 12000+.
I get answered in few hours so i doubt about this queue or they have thousands of employees.
Although they can't resolve my problem.
They blocked my money transfer for "security reasons" to squeeze scan of my id. They are collecting personal data actively, not just resolving confirmations from users. They must see some profit in collecting personal data.
When i answered them to return my transfer back to my bank they passed it against my wish but the money dissapeared when i tried to buy BTC. On last e-mail i don't have answer for more than a day though.

You aren't making any sense, this is the wrong thread for this.

You can't apply normal chart-reading to a market that is defined by a lagging, DDOS'd, unpredictable mess of an exchange.

1699  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 03, 2013, 02:10:33 AM
I just sold all my shares at a massive loss.  I'm going to go out on a limb and assume this company is insolvent.  No other excuse for what they've done.

Calling it. Time of death 10:12PM EST.

Friedcat, can we have some more hashes this week? My birthday is soon. Thanks!
