Robert Lewandowski has been one if the best players in Europe for more the past decade and considering all his achievement in football, I think he can boldly say that he's delivered great performance and impact in European football of the past twelve year. If truly he has received offers by the Saudi teams, I don't think player of his age and achievement will want to remain at Barcelona when he knows he can't be as impactful as he was when he was younger. Lewandowski undoubtedly will make a good signing for any Saudi team if he gets the chance because the league isn't as competitive as the leagues the Poland has played all his life in Europe. From my own personal perspective about Lewandowski's future, I think the Polish striker is definitely gonna leave the Camp Nou next summer and a move to the Saudi Pro League wouldn't be a bad idea since their financial packages are always juicy. |

During that period, a lot of their first team players were out injured as well as those that were suspended but since last weekend that Romero came back to the squad, they've been performing well especially in the defense side of the team. I wasn't really expecting such result in the Monaco - Lyon game so I must admit that I'm very surprised. Especially in the first half Monaco were very effective. Their xG was around 1.00 but still couldn't score a goal. If they got ahead there maybe Lyon were going to lose their concentration which would lead to a bigger loss as well.
However we saw a much worse Monaco in the second half. They were further from scoring a goal despite having the double amount of their goal attempts in the first half. They had only 1 out of 13 shots on target in the second half I mean. Lyon somehow managed to score the winning goal in the last minutes and kept it to the end. This is another very valuable win for Lyon to make a move for getting out of the relegation zone.
Lyon is one of the traditional clubs in France and over the years has been one of the top clubs in the league but since the start of the season, they've been absolutely poor with their performance while Monaco where 20 points better than Lyon before their game on Friday night have been on of the best teams on the league this season. But surprisingly, Lyon who were the away side in the game, defeated Monaco tonight. What even made the result of the game more shocking is the fact that Monaco failed to score in the game as well despite playing in front of their home fans. I don't think there's any game in the French Ligue 1 this weekend that's gonna produce a more surprising result than we saw tonight. Lyon who's been struggling since the start of the league and were at the bottom of the league table before the game tonight have moved up to the 16th position of the league after that surprise win and I think the result is gonna go a long way in improving the general performance of the team as they continue to fight for safety in the French Ligue 1 standings. |

Now speaking of Barcelona it looks like they will still try to find some free players but on the other hand there are some rumors that say that there are linking Osimhen with Barcelona even though I don't think this is true because this will not be possible.
Yep, this is unlikely to happen because it wouldn't make sense if something like this were real. I mean of course with their current financial situation and the option of bringing in free agents and loan players is one option that Barcelona can't afford to lose at the moment so bringing in Osimhen with a clause of over 100 million is not going to be possible. But if you think of a way like what happened to Raphinha from Leeds, it might still be possible, it's just that it will add to their problems because after all, what needs to be considered besides the clause is salary and I feel Barcelona will not be able to afford the salary of Osimhen. Barcelona is currently not financially stable enough to outrightly sign a player of Victor Osimhen's quality and that's because of the current financial crises at the club. However, if they should for any reason have the financial power to sign Victor Osimhen, I don't think the Nigeria international will like to join a club like Barcelona because I don't think he'll fit in with Barcelona's style of football. Xavi Hernandez plays a possessive style of football that allows the midfield players to be the main focal points of the team while Osimhen enjoys attacking football that provides strikers more chances to score goals. Liverpool definitely does look like they are going to end up being the winners, but I have always said that Liverpool may not care as much as we think they may. People think that they are the best team and it's true that if they do focus on this then they could definitely win it, but will they focus on it? Are we sure on that? I do not think that they will focus as much as we think they may, I think there is a possibility that we may not see them win all that much, we could see them not do that well at all.
We should be considering some situation where they just ignore this cup and focus on premier league, I have said this before and going to say it again, winning the premier league is 10x better than europa, so they may go out with bench players to rest starters for league games.
I've closely followed the development at Liverpool since the start of the season and I don't think that there's anyone who has done same that will want to write them off as potential winners of the UEFA Europa League competition. Honestly, I am very sad to learn about this unfortunate incident, this is one of those things that happen in gambling and it just gives gambling a bad name and make it look like a taboo for anyone to engage in it, why on earth will a full grown man like this take his own life simply because of a loss of $3000, people loss up to $20,000, $50,000 in gamblimg and still move on with their normal lives, if $3000 was too much for him to lose in gambling, why did he stake it?
This is such a bad news, and I hope that we all can learn even more lessons from this, always gamble with not more than you can afford to lose, gambling is risky, to be on the safer side, gambling primary for fun and let the profit be secondary, this is something Ive seen other users say here, and I am still joining them to say same thing.

According to the news I heard about the incident of the guy that committed suicide after losing a lot of money in gambling, more than 50% of the total amount of money he lost in gambling that made him took his own life was borrowed and it was borrowed after he went bankrupt by losing all his money to gambling and in his quest to get back the already lost money, he decided to borrow money to gamble more with the hope that he's gonna win big at the end of the day but unfortunately for him, he lost all to gambling and became depressed immediately. He couldn't manage his emotions about his huge loss abd decided to take his own life. May his soul rest in peace and I wish others will learn from his experience. |

I have observed that the rich, I mean those who are financially comfortable, win more in gambling than the poor. By poor, I mean those who do not have enough to meet all their needs. I'm not sure where you observed that, in my experience it's completely random. Rich people can win big and can also lose huge amounts. Poor (relatively) people can also win big if they're lucky but they can't lose much as they don't have many funds to lose. If we follow this logic, it's even better to be poor.  However, if you mean rich who became rich by gambling a lot successfully, then it's a different story. Then these are pro gamblers and I'm sure they will do better than 99% of gamblers. Gambling is one game that can be won by either the rich or the poor and that's because of the fact that both rich and the poor can be lucky on their own days. There's a popular saying that gambling is a game of luck and anyone can be lucky but one thing we can shy away from is the fact that the rich is more likely to win in gambling than the poor because of their gambling strategies. For instance, if a rich man wants to gamble, he picks the biggest odds that gives him more winning probability and stakes a huge amount of money in them while when a poor man wants to gamble, he picks the smallest odds that offers him little winning probability and stakes on them while hoping for a miracle to happen for him to win. I don't know what exactly is happening with Liverpool tonight but I least expected such poor performance from them because they appeared much better than saint gallilous and even have a better form and depth than they do but it's really unimaginable how they are loosing already in the early minutes of the second half.

Liverpool have really struggled to win their last few games in the Premier League, but when they play Manchester United I'm sure their performance will be better. Everton are currently a better team than Chelsea even with the points deduction; they’ve defeated Newcastle and Chelsea yes you could term its motivation from the deduction but this should be a warning signal to Chelsea, their week in and week out lost most of their players to injury or cards and these give chance for rotation and while rotating, the cohesion isn’t there which could be a factor to their falter.
Everton has become a club to pay close attention to in this season from their performance in recent games, this has placed them in a better position to stand against any other stronger club without any fear and there is no way that we can compare Chelsea vs Everton for the season and just as you pointed out, Chelsea have lost some of it key players to injury and some of the other factors that have been affecting Chelsea I internally since the last couple of a few seasons back. But then this is football and we can't outrightly write off any club and for that, we must also check out possibilities that can play out and make Chelsea have luck and possibly come out with better results in the next couple of games ahead. When the season started, no one will or tipped Everton as a club to compete for any tangible thing this season. Everton is known for being able to fight and defeat relegation and that is exactly where everyone is expecting them to be. But surprisingly amidst the sanction, Everton is motivated and surprisingly winning teams. Their win against Newcastle United and Chelsea FC is a signal that shouldn't be undersighted. Talking about comparing Everton to Chelsea, I understand and agree that Chelsea is a bigger team. Man United doesn't seem to have much hope and can only fight for its position in the English Premier League. It was the only way but Liverpool were not worthy opponents. Liverpool is too strong and much more stable, while Man United will certainly suffer a lot if they face a strong opponent. In my opinion this is a disaster and will still benefit the opponent. Let's say Man United loses then can they still keep their coach? The question we most want to get the answer to. Playing at Anfield unfortunately Man United nightmare will never end. Just imagine how enthusiastic Liverpool will be in enjoying this match.
Is obvious that Liverpool is going to win Manchester United because Manchester United is very inconsistent in performance and considering the small clubs that has been wining them on there previous matches you will see that they are no match for Liverpool and however aside from Liverpool performance they also have the home advantage to Manchester United so they will surely use the opportunity to deal with Manchester United. This match is actually going be one of the most entertaining match of this weekend because everybody will like to see the outcome of the match, however the only way for Manchester United to come back to there normal form is only if they can make some adjustments on the team and most importantly working as a team because Manchester sometimes plays as if they are from different teams that are still struggling to understand each other. Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the English Premier League and there's no doubt that they're capable of beating any side in the league when they play at their best but considering what we've seen from them this season, I think they don't stand a chance of getting any result from their game against current league leaders Liverpool this season. Playing as an away club at Anfield stadium is one of the worrying moments for any club in the English Premier League because whenever Liverpool is playing at home in front of their usual exploding fans, they tend to be unplayable. Last season, Liverpool had a bad campaign but are trying to make up for their shortcomings by winning a major title this season and winning the English Premier League is the top of their priorities this season. Liverpool are currently leading in the league table and knows how important every win can be to further strengthen their quest to claim the English Premier League title once again so that's why I think they'll surely be playing at their best against Manchester United this weekend and I don't expect Manchester United to be strong enough to stop them from winning that game. |
