According to rumors, Verstappen will use the same Power Unit for the last gp while Hamilton has some doubt...

It seems impossible to me but whatever...

Source https://www.formulapassion.it/motorsport/formula-1/f1-piloti/power-unit-abu-dhabi-verstappen-non-cambia-dubbio-hamilton-red-bull-mercedes-596523.html

But if Verstappen has his car's power unit changed, he'll have a 5 car grid penalty.  Would the new power unit really give much more pace that Red Bull would be willing to take that risk?  I think I'm with Hamilton.  Mercedes got RBR by the ropes and it's Hamilton's championship to lose now.

Should be a fun start of the race.  Grin

I also think that Hamilton is the big favorite now, because the Mercedes is just a few tenth of a second faster at the moment than the Red Bull it seems. Since they have changed the engine of Hamilton's car back in Mexico Verstappen has no chance to keep up with him, especially during the race. In the qualifying it is a little bit closer but even there Verstappen has to produce absolute perfect laps to have a chance against mercedes. You just need to lock at the other drivers of Mercedes and Red Bull. Bottas has not much struggle to keep up with Hamilton, which clearly shows that Hamilton has not even to risk a lot to produce fast times, while Perez is like half a second behind Verstappen in the Qualifyings.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market is inevitable on: December 10, 2021, 12:48:58 PM
The bull market is fading away bit by bit, I hope people can easily see this already, sit down and do some calculations, BTC was 3800$ in march 2020 and BTC made it up to 68,000$, many altcoins have done 10x to 1000x for example shiba inu, we have seen bull market already just accept it and now bear market will slowly crawl into the space

I agree with you regarding the statement that there needs to be a period of correction or of falling prices in general when there was a long period of strong growth before and we already witnessed that back in May this year where a lot of smaller cap altcoins lost like 90% of it's value. Since last week we are seeing falling courses again but so far i still think that we can call this a correction and that we are not into a full bear market. I also don't think that just because it happened in 2018 that we necessarily have to witness another 2 years bear market again like we did back than. I think that the nervous market of the last week was caused by that rumors regarding china and Evergrande.

Xavi cannot be blamed for Barcelona's defeat. Barcelona's squad is very weak and inexperienced compared to other title-seeking squads. We can't expect much from such a team. Xavi has taken charge of the team. He will now stabilize the team somewhat. Fix their gameplay and strategy. Then next season if Barcelona can take some star players in the team then maybe they can be strong. I don't expect much from this team until new players are added.
Agree with you. Barcelona lost the first match in the same way against Bayern when Koeman was the coach. Barcelona is a broken team now, only coach can't fix the team lineup and performance. They need some good players in their squad. They are also having bad journey in LaLiga. Maybe Barcelona won't be able to qualify for next UCL season. They should bring some good players during the upcoming transfer window.

A coach can not just magically transform a team that was performing pretty bad before into a top team within a few weeks, as you already said. I am pretty confident though that Xavi gets a lot of time in Barcelona to realize and to improve the way that he wants his team to play football. Xavi has such a high standing in Barcelona though that i i think he can really take his time to change things as he wants, even if he is not successful with it in this season i doubt that Barcelona would fire Xavi so quickly.
I doubt though that Barca can make some good transfers because they have 1,35 Billion € of debts, so there is no way that they can just buy a few good players, they have to rely on their own youth players.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Copycats good for the industry? on: December 09, 2021, 03:15:43 PM
As the title states, I was pondering whether the nature of open-source software is the way to go. It appears to me coins copy each other all the time. Example BNB copies ETH with BSC. And now BNB copies ETH with BEP-95 update.

Conversely, you see that Uniswap has a closed V.3 atm. I know this is controversial and I support decentralization through and through.

But given that your own protocol could be at stake if you give up critical information, is it best to therefore share the information and keep it open source? Or close the information (for a small period, not forever), so that one can keep a competitive advantage? Food for thought. Discuss.

I am not really sure if copycats are good for the industry or not. In the case of the Binance Smart chain being a pretty blatant copy and paste of the Ethereum chain i would say though that we as the overall cryptospace definitely benefited from it, because the ETH-chain is almost unusable for small and  "normal" users that just want to trade ETH-Tokens worth 50 bucks or so because of the high fees. I am happy though that the market still appreciates the fact that it was Ethereum that came up with that whole smart contract functionality that enabled most of the stuff that we are having today with Dexes and dApps.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 - what is your bet? on: December 09, 2021, 08:52:12 AM
What are your thoughts before the final round? Are we going to have a new, orange champion? Or maybe German machine will keep rolling?
Or they both will crash on the 1st lap?

I personally think that the odds have shifted greatly in the last few weeks in favor of mercedes. After they have changed the engine in Hamiltons car it just looks like that the car itself is simply a few tenths of a second faster than the one of Red Bull. That's also why Verstappen had to risk absolutely everything in the qualifying of the Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia and he almost delivered an absolute miracle round but in the very last corner he just risked a little bit to much. The performance difference of the cars is also obvious if you look at the second drivers of the team. Bottas has no problems to keep up with Hamilton at the moment while Perez is far behind.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things will always work out differently on: December 09, 2021, 08:48:49 AM
I told many that charts can be deceiving at times but many don't believe me, some even go and bring out 2017 bull chart and start comparing to 2021 charts so now tell me are the charts still the same? Whatever is going to happen in this December still lies in mystery 🤣😂🤣, things will never work the same way as the past

I have never been a big friend of all that trend analysis stuff. I saw video of a crypto influencer a week ago or so where he predicted that Bitcoin will make a breakout in the next few days because in the chart analysis you can see that... and then the next day BTC dropped from 57k$ to 47k$  Cheesy. So yes maybe you can predict something sometimes from chart patterns that happen a lot of times but as you already said, just because the chart behaved that way a few months or years ago it doesn't necessarily mean that the chart will behave exactly like that in the future. In the end i think the market is almost impossible to predict.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 08, 2021, 03:21:53 PM
It's good to hear Julian at the press conference, saying that there will be not many changes, of course, the lack of Kimmich, Goretzka, Gnabry can be visible, but rest the basis with Manuel, Robert, Thomas will be, Bild predicts the exit of 1st 11 Musiala and Roca and then the entrance of Sane.

He said though that some players that have not played so regularly in the last time will get a chance so we definitely will see some changes in the squad of today. I also think that players like Musiala and Roca get a chance to be in the starting eleven today, especially for Roca it's gonna be a special game as he was playing for espanyol Barcelona before he came to Bayern. I think it all depends on who has the better start. If Bayern goes 1-0 in front then i would say that the chances for Barca are almost at 0% to win because then Bayern can wait for counter opportunities and they have the players for that.
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why projects takes forever to launch? on: December 08, 2021, 03:17:57 PM
What could make a project hanging around for many years and still fail to launch their project in the market? I'm actually talking about pi network that I've knew since 2017/2018 but till date they failed to launch and yet I keep seeing their offices active in China and other part of the Asian market, I'm just wondering why they aren't up and running already

Well i don't really know to much about pi network so i don't know what is going on there but it always depends on what a project is trying to achieve and sometimes they are trying very complicated things that no one has done before and if that is the case then it is not so surprising to me that those projects need a lot of time until they have a product that is working and also stable and robust enough to be ready for the market and a lot of users. If you are only launching the 9000th meme-coin in a week then you probably need 1 day to be ready for launch, you just create a  ETH or BSC token, take a website template and fill it out and boom.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 08, 2021, 12:23:26 PM
I have heard some news claiming that Jos Verstappen made a statement like Verstappen is ready for giving his best for winning the title. This could mean anything at this point.  Grin  Verstappen wouldn't be scared of pushing his luck for the title in this race. Hamilton should get ready for every kind of attack in this race. Because I believe that the last race was a sign for it.

Of course Verstappen will try everything to become the world champion. This would be his first title and with the new cars coming in the next season no one knows where they will stand then. So you can never know if you have another shot for the championship title in the near future again. Also i think the statement of Verstappens father is really nothing special and i don't think that it indicates that he would also do illegal or shady things like provoking a crash to take hamilton out of the race, not because he would not do such things but simply because everyone is watching him so closely now and i don't think he is stupid enough to do such things in the last race.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: December 08, 2021, 12:18:24 PM
Hi, the market has dropped dramatically recently, and we have the opportunity to buy cool projects at a good price, for example, it was possible to buy Solana, NEAR, Avalanche, Cordana much cheaper than they were a week ago.  have you bought something, and if so, what have you bought?

I bought nothing. The reasons for that are several first of all i don't really like to invest into projects where other people already made a x100 or a x1000 with it, which basically means that i don't invest into any top 20 coin. I know that a lot of people disagree with this kind of approach but that is how i do it. For me crypto is the chance (a very slim chance though) to really make 10000 $ out of 100$ and therefore i mostly invest into new and upcoming projects. Also i am not a crypto veteran and sadly i don't own like a couple of BTC or ETH that i can use to invest. Every investment that i do comes from FIAT and therefore my opportunities are limited.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 07, 2021, 06:30:23 PM
PSG know how to surprise! They can't score a single goal in a game and then they score in the second minute of the game! Grin The game looks interesting so far! The Belgians are attacking too... I think both teams will score here! It's 2-0 already!
Man City should score too... By the way, I think that Leipzig and Man City will also exchange goals...

I somehow totally forgot that the games are still running...i just don't get used to that early games...damn you UEFA for maximizing the income from TV fees. The results of Group A are strongly favoring Leipzig to go through to the knockout stage of the UEFA Europa League at the moment and for me it looks almost impossible for Brügge to change that. They are 0-3 behind in their game against PSG at the moment while Leipzig managed to score against ManCity and is still leading at the moment. If i am correct then Leipzig could even afford to lose against ManCity if Brügge is also losing against Paris and i really don't think that they can turn that 0-3 around.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 07, 2021, 06:26:12 PM
As per the latest update an Ethereum whale has purchased SHIB worth over $2 million, is that why we have seen recovery in the price over last 24 hours? I am wondering whether this will push more users to buy SHIB as there are two reasons why users will buy SHIB, one just because it's recovering and second is the assumption that whenever whales invest into any crypto it would pump hard. Are we being bull trapped again ?

I think the only reason why the price of SHIBA is up is because the whole market is recovering today. If you take a look at the list of the top gainers within the top 100 coins in terms of market cap on coinmarketcap.com then you will see, that SHIBA is not even close to the top gainers of today. So i would call this a normal price recovery action in a recovering overall market. Also SHIBA has a daily trading volume of around 2 Billion $ at the moment which means that a 2M buy does not have that much impact, that it could bring the price back up by itself. It definitely has an effect but the trading volume of SHIBA is to big that a normal whale can manipulate the price.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 07, 2021, 01:17:55 PM
Tonight we will enjoy the champions league matches.  I think the Ajax-Sporting Lisbon game will go very well.  In the Dortmund-Besiktas match, the German team may win differently.  The Real-Inter match will be a life and death match.  Milan-Liverpool match can also be very enjoyable.  There will be some really great Matches tonight.

A lot of groups are already decided at least if it comes to which teams are advancing into the group stage of the Champions League. In Group A we still have a battle for the 3rd position of the table between RB Leipzig and Brügge. Leipzig will face ManCity at home and Brügge has to play against PSG in Paris. Usually i would say that Leipzig has the advantage here because they play at home but Guardiola always manages to motivate his teams even if the games are not so important and on the other hand we have PSG that showed a lot of times in the past that they don't really want to play "uninteresting" games like the one against Brügge today.
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should i buy? on: December 07, 2021, 01:13:07 PM
We all know that market is collapsed and reviving again and i don't want to miss this opportunity which coin or coins should i buy?

You are already pretty late if you wanted to buy the dip as the market is already around 10% up already compared to the price a few days ago. I usually don't buy into projects where other people already made a x100 or even more with it. Yes i know this means i don't have any BTC or ETH or other very big projects because of that. I usually buy into new and upcoming project, there the risk is of course way higher to have a total loss of your investment but at least i have, at least in theory, the chance of a x100 there.
I would only buy into big projects like Ethereum and Solana now if ETH would drop below 3000 or even loss and Solana under 100$ but i don't see that happening.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 07, 2021, 11:30:54 AM
Tonight is Champions League night!

Bayern vs Barcelona will be the main event. As an attempt to seal qualification, FC Barcelona will have to face Bayern Munich in the last game of the group. They can make it to the last 16 of the Champions League with a win, but Bayern Munich is likely to beat Barcelona. Aside from that, Barcelona's qualification is in the hands of Benfica as well. There could be any number of complications, but Barcelona still hold the key to their fate.

This will be a completely open game for me because Bayern is already qualified for the next stage of the tournament and Barcelona desperately needs to win this one in order to advance. I think the chances of Barcelona to win this game are not that slim because Bayern might give some players of the usual starting eleven some time to rest because they are already qualified and they also had a very intense match on Saturday against Borussia Dortmund. It will still be hard for Barcelona to win, because Bayern will definitely try to win this game to become more stable in the defense and to grow confidence but Barca definitely has a chance.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: December 07, 2021, 11:25:56 AM
I have a few capital and I will like to know the proper token to venture in. Am unused to NFTs and will cherish to induce your supposition on which NFT to purchase for a brief term bas

You should be a little more specific what your goals are with your investment or what do you want to achieve with your investment. Are you investing money that you should not lose because you need it back sooner or later? Then my advice would be to invest into altcoin projects that are already big and established like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot and so on. Are you investing money that you don't need anymore and you can easily lose it without having impact on your life and you want to risk more with your investment in the hope of a x10 or even more? Then i would choose new und upcoming projects but of course the risk of a total loss is way higher here.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This December is a weird one on: December 06, 2021, 04:34:14 PM
Is this December actually playing out like the past December? Cos right now it looks like this December is a black one lol 😂 things are going side ways and all those crypto chillers on YouTube aren't even catching the trend of what's going on, so what's your own opinions?

I think that this december is special because of the circumstances that have nothign to do with crypto but the world in general i think one major factor is the fear of the omikron covid variant, that is spreading and that also made the traditional stock markets drop in the last few days. Then we have this topic with the real estate company evergrande in China that seem to have trouble again and that may be go bankrupt which would cause a pretty big upset in the whole financial sector. Sadly the crypto market always reacts even more drastically then the traditional markets and my portfolio also went down at least 20% yesterday. I hope the market stabilizes now.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 06, 2021, 03:57:03 PM
✂ and this time Freiburg scored 6 goals in the first half against Monchen, it looks like in the second half there will be many more goals

the second half in the game mönchengladbach - freiburg remained without a goal ... but what happened in the first half was unbelievable and also historic in the bundesliga - sc freiburg is the first bundesliga team where six different scorers were able to sign the score list already in the first half Shocked

I was a little late yesterday and when i turned on my TV to watch the game of Gladbach vs. Freiburg and i saw the score of 0-6 in the 40th minute or so the first thing i did was to check 2 websites of the result that was shown was really correct because i couldn't believe it  Smiley. I was afraid and kind of expected that Freiburg might lose another game and then they would have a series of 4 games lost in a row but yesterdays game completely caught me off guard. Freiburg was so effective with their corners and free kicks they made like 3 or 4 goals out of that and of course the defending of Gladbach was absolutely terrible.
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 05, 2021, 08:18:30 PM
One of the craziest races i have ever witnessed and in the end it was again Hamilton that managed to win...the car of Mercedes just is quite a lot faster than the one of Red Bull. We saw 3 starts today which is great for the viewers because the start is basically the most exciting part at the moment in the formula 1 and even though verstappen was to slow in the second one he was having a great start and a perfect first corner in the third start to go into the lead, but again Mercedes had a way faster race pace then Red Bull and Verstappen had no chance to hold hamilton back. If this continues then i think that Verstappen can not do to much if Hamilton makes no mistakes in the last race.
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Proven Method To Identify SCAM 🤬 Projects At ICO Stage Or Even Before⁉️ on: December 05, 2021, 04:24:46 PM
We all know that Crypto industry is full of scammers l. But everytime they able to cheat newbies and sometimes more experienced ones as well.

Is It Really Possible To Identify A Scam Project Right At The Beginning?

I don't think that there is a way to 100% avoid investing into a scam project. Of course there are ways or things that you should do to minimize the risk of picking a scam project to invest in but you can never be 100% sure. I would advice to always look up the whitepaper, look if it is well written and not only a 10 page copy and paste whitepaper. Then look at the team, check their linkedIn or Xing profiles and see how old those profiles are. Ask critical questions about the long term goals and how they want to accomplish them in their telegram group and see if the Dev Team is answering and what they are answering.
