^  Yeah, I don't really follow international football much but having somethng new would be great.  I'm kinda getting bored with football again.  I'll prolly take up something new like curling.  Cheesy

And I forgot to make my picks for this round.  But if I had made my picks it would be Toney, Vardy, Pereira, maybe Costa, Ronaldo, Adams and Jesus.  If that's the winning ticket then fk me.

^  We'll just have to see what happens but I feel like Araujo's stand up willbe a bit too much for Grasso.  Araujo's a tough chick and prolly the toughest fighter Grasso has ever faced bar Herrig.  That's just on top of my head...  Could be wrong, will edit the post after I check Tapology.

Anyway here are the weigh ins.  Askarov vs Royval is scrapped due to a botched weight cut by Askarov.  It would've been the best match up of the event.

2083  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 14, 2022, 03:39:20 PM
Sideways until Christmas then UP

Yeah..  It looks likes it.  There was a strong buy up backed by huge volume an hour before the US session started yesterday and it all continued in the green for the rest of the day and at night.  I thought it was gonna follow through but no.  It's now looking like another fake out.  I'm glad I was sitting on my hands for this one.  I guess I'll continue waiting for a break out over 20.5k before slowly getting in.  Sure now could be a good entry as it's just going sideways but I don't really trust 18k, 17.5k to hold either.  Lol.

Looking at it? it seems like other member beat you in creating a Poll about prices as he ask about the predicted price for october here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415177.0

but for a change ? this is much better poll as it is general question and there is no need to indicate specific prices.

I believe there is also a  growth this month , and yes there will be more to come in the coming months as we are closing the year.
There are other topics which include the poll if what price we think btc will reach this month but along with that, users can also comment if their desired price are not in the choices of the poll. They continue creating a thread like this because they think their thread is different from the other and this doesn't mean that they are competing with the other or trying to beat their threads but I agree with you, this one we have here is better than the others because this one is less complicated.

We only need to choose a direction and not the actual price. Though I only disagree when you say that there will be an increase this month so my vote will be downward movement.

And you guys noticed that I've been making these monthly sentiment polls since May right?  If some people don't like it just gtfo and ignore it.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 14, 2022, 03:06:16 PM
Guys don't forget that we start this week early with a Brentford vs Brighton game tonight.I think in this game it is only natural to back Brighton which has only lost two games against strong teams while Brentford has suffered really big by winning only 1 of 7 last games that they played. The odds of the game suggest for a draw but I think backing a Brighton win tonight should be generally a good idea or to be sure why not go for that golden bet in Premier League that happens at least 90% of the time which is both teams to score yes.

Whew, thanks for reminding us.  I was feeling lazy and was planning on making my predictions tomorrow morning.

Brighton could win but I wouldn't underestimate Brentford at home.  They've had just one loss at home so far and it was vs Arsenal which I think we could give Brentford a pass for it.  Most notable win at home is vs Man United, 4 - 0.  They also won vs Leeds 5 - 2.  They're losses away are vs Newcastle, ok sure and vs Fullham which should be kinda sketchy but it was an away game.
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A poker website, but with chess/checkers/backgammon? on: October 14, 2022, 02:55:05 PM
I think there are a ton of crypto casinos that offer multiplayer poker - the most famous casino being SWC Poker. But has anyone thought about making as casino that only has multi-player board games?

These would be identical to their Free-to-play counterparts, with the exception that if you win a game, you get the other person's (fixed) wager, and vice versa. Obviously, the stake would have to be the same for all players, but each player can agree to make all their stakes larger or smaller.

It would provide a more refreshing alternative to swipe-your-coins-from-your-nose Slots games.

I would discourage you from playing chess, checkers or backgammon online for real money.  Those games are mostly 'solved' and you'd just be playing against botters.  Might as well give them your money.  Even poker is as close to being 'solved' with all the GTO solvers floating around the internet.

Anyway, maybe they should just encourage botting in their sites and have bot vs bot tourneys.  That at least could be beneficial for AI research.

^  It's because of the rematch...  Yan never thought Sterling could take him into deep waters and make the fight hard for him.  And same goes for a lot of people, including me.  I never thought it would be that close.

Weigh ins start in around 1.5 hours for anybody interested.

Now I feel responsible if the match ends in a loss.  Cheesy  Keep in mind, I'm no pro, I'm just like you and I mostly bet small in these events for fun.
No, I think I chose the wrong words when I said that.  Cheesy
I mean, honestly, I didn't know that she (Araujo) was the underdog although my bet was already locked for her. I can say I am lucky because I don't have to doubt the bet. If she is the favorite which means lesser profits then I would have to go thru thinking twice before taking it and I don't like being in that position.

Ah kk.  That makes me feel better.  Lol.  And yeah, I think the lines are a little wide.  I mean, I totally agree that Grasso should be the favorite but I don't think she's that huge of a favorite.  Araujo can def hang in there vs Grasso.  The only wrinkle in this match up for Araujo is her cardio.
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 06:00:00 PM
^  Ok...  So if it's going 'down and down' at what price do you think BTC will drop into?  Is 15k a possibility you think?  Looking at the chart right now, it feels like 17.5k - 18k is protected.  There are market forces out there not allowing BTC to drop down below it.  And it could be different groups doing it to protect their bags and their self interests.  I could imagine miners doing it, exchanges too.  Maybe even guys like Michael Saylor could be in the mix.  I'm not saying they're working together, just saying they're there.
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 13, 2022, 04:36:51 PM
^  It's not 'selfishness', it's judgement during the heat of the moment.

^  Mou does that...  That guy could find a way to outfox the better squad.  It won't pass the eye test because it def will not look good but it's effective to get the W.  Lol.

Anyway, I'm watching City vs FC Copenhagen and bored out of my wits as I got no bet in the match.  And Haaland isn't even playing.  Some of the other match ups are pretty much so so too except for maybe Dormund and Sevilla which could be interesting.  But AC Milan vs Chelsea could be a good one.  What do you guys think of BTTS at 1.85?  Wink

If you bet on both teams to score then this match is very unlucky for you. To tell the truth, I also thought of betting on that because of being quite logical. I thought that Milan would be much more effective in San Siro. This was one of their very important and tough matches in the group at the same time.

However look at the current condition of the match now. Tomori got a red card due to holding very early in the match. This was enough to push them into a difficult situation. Chelsea have been able to benefit from this chance great so far as they are in the lead by 2-0. Milan have only one shot in the second half which wasn't even on target. Milan are having another nightmare. If the matches in the group end up with current scores then Milan will be in third position being 2 points behind Salzburg. It'd be a big waste if Milan don't manage to qualify for last 16.

Yeah..  I was hopeful I'd hit it until the end but no.  It seemed like an easy bet to make before the match started as in the league, at home AC Milan's opponents has never had a clean sheet against them.  I thought it would be the same vs Chelsea.

And AC Milan's league record isn't all that bad too even though there are some pundits who are calling them a fraud.  Just three points behind the leader Napoli and they have just one loss so far.  Goal differential is at decent -9.  Overall not bad.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 13, 2022, 04:29:05 PM
It can really be another Red Bull and Verstappen year on the condition teams like especially Ferrari and Mercedes don't make much improvement. I just want to be hopeful about them to get better. I can't be sure of Ferrari because they don't give confidence to me about their future now. They made so many simple mistakes throughout the season that I've lost my confidence in them a lot. If they still struggle with durability issues or doing bad pits then there would be nothing changing for them.

On the other hand, I have a bigger hope about Mercedes. They've already made a big progress by getting very close to Ferrari's level. Their next season car must be much faster than this as they have been working on it for a long time. They started this quite early as they were out of the championship race quite early.

Ferrari has a good car designer in Mattia Binotto.  I think he should return and solely play that role and have the team find a better team principal.  A new race strategist would be nice too.  Lol.

A lot of shade has been thrown at Red Bull's way for being too dominant this season.  But think about this, what of Christian Horner, Adrian Newey, Verstappen and the rest of the RBR crew went over and took over Ferrari's current team, I'd say they'd be the team to beat in F1.  It's not the team, it's really the people running the team.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 13, 2022, 01:30:33 PM
^  Khabib vs McGregor rematch needs to happen for one reason and one reason alone:  To generate as much cash and profit as much as possible.  Other than that, the fight would mean nothing.  We already know who wins in a rematch.  Khabib...  I mean just look at the contrast between those guys.  McGregor loves partying, drinking, snorting coke and hanging out with the celebs.  Khabib on the other hand only does training and worshipping Allah.  Train, then worship Allah, train then worship Allah...  Train, Allah, train, Allah.  Who does everybody think is the winner in that scenario?  Most def Khabib!

Yeah Araujo is a good underdog pick if she shows up in that kind of shape and if she could maintain that pace for 5 rounds.  And I'm not sure how Grasso is with the take down defense these says against a fighter like Araujo.  I remember she got rag dolled by Felice Herrig back in the day.  She was a huge favorite in that match up too.
Honestly, after reading your reply was the only time I found out Grasso was the favorite in this fight. I didn't check yesterday.
Anyway, my bet is locked already for Araujo as I think she really has a higher chance to win this if she can wrestle her way until the final round.
Avoiding a counter that will end in a submission might be their strategy but as much as possible take Grasso's back to the mat or just box her until exhausted.

Now I feel responsible if the match ends in a loss.  Cheesy  Keep in mind, I'm no pro, I'm just like you and I mostly bet small in these events for fun.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 01:22:25 PM
^  You made that post around 4 hours ago.  I was honestly thinking the same but it looks like ETH just broke another crucial support level just now.  :/

But I mean, yeah ok it's happening.  But what would have caused for ETH to start breaking down like this?  And it's not just ETH, the whole market is red.  It hurts looking at it. It feels like the kind of sell down that we'd see go on for a whole week straight.

2092  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 01:12:40 PM
Wtf is going on guys?  I check the price more than a couple of hours ago, it was still looking fine trading in a tight range.  I checked the price just now and it has dropped and looks like it's gonna break down crucial support.  Is 15k really in the realms of possbility?  If 15k happens...  Whatever you do, don't check the 'rainbow chart'.  Cheesy

I'm not sure what would cause BTC to start breaking down like this rn.  What would be the catalyst?

And seriously..  I hope this sht stops.  Not good for everybody.

UFC Free Fight:  Grasso vs Wood
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtf6TpKs1Uc
I thought Wood could end it after that spinning elbow, it did hit just not perfect then she was caught giving Grasso a chance to hold her again and take her down. Then the finisher with a rear naked choke. Incredible, fast reflex, and, recovery.
UFC Free Fight:  Araujo vs Lee
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7DW5ixsMSU
This fight was better, I thought Lee ended it fast but damn she let go of that opportunity of finishing it early. She has that power punch and kicks but Araujo has the skill set on takedowns and wrestling which made her win points. Good fight.

Araujo vs Grasso. I'll take Araujo here. Both can recover fast, it's either tap out or scores.

Hey guys let's stick to the next one.  After watching both of these vids, I guess I could say that the main event for the upcoming event this weekend could be a low key banger.  Grasso has improved and has incorporated some grappling.  Araujo still looks like she has more spunk tho.

UFC Free Fight:  Grasso vs Wood
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtf6TpKs1Uc

UFC Free Fight:  Araujo vs Lee
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7DW5ixsMSU
Araujo almost get KO'ed in the first round, I think Andrea Lee is just refrain herself to not punch Araujo when he's fall, there's few seconds she waiting for. While Grasso is clearly dominating the fight and she doesn't only fought by distance, she force Wood to fight on the ground and moreover she won via submission. As we know Grasso is mainly a boxing style, not ground fight specialist.

I think Grasso will win via KO since Araujo chin has been exposed.

Doubtful.  Grasso has no power in her hands.  And Araujo may have gotten kicked hard in the head but did you see how she took it?  She wasn't even fazed.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 11, 2022, 05:26:09 PM
^  Kinda like when Mercedes and Hamilton almost had every season dominated since the engine change to the V6 turbo and before 2022's spec change?  Cheesy  I thought everybody has gotten used to it by now.  A tight season like we had last year doesn't really happen much in F1.  So I guess with the current specs, expect another Red Bull year again next season.  Adrian Newey is a technical genius..  I mean so too is Binotto but they're not really that good with strategy.

So yeah...  It's better to take it race by race and not really mind the championship points.  And from a betting perspecrive maybe Verstappen might hold back a little bit since he already won the season.  Could be good for Leclerc.
2096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: October 11, 2022, 05:09:52 PM
^  What kind of bet did you make?  It's almost always good to avoid betting for Man City as the lines really juiced and have no value as the books will never lay fair odds on a club that's most likely to win.  If anything, find value in the underdog as that's where books tend make mistakes.  It's not really that common tho.  So much better just to look for other spots with +EV.

Even Haaland anytime goal scorer as lined at 1.50 or something low every week.  Lol.
