2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 08, 2021, 09:06:08 PM
If influential people will buy Bitcoin back and forth, its impact would be dependent of the range of their so-called mass influence, and the volume of what is being bought and sold. I think that the volatility of crypto will not be eliminated regardless of this, but there would be possibilities that fluctuations can be manipulated if people would act under the influence of such personalities.
This has happened a lot of times and as big whales come to control the market, price flucuations will be much affected. The whales will make the whole crypto market dump so they can take advantage and buy the coins while they are still cheap.

But as expected everytime a big celebrity comes to manipulate the market, the result will only be temporary and eventually the market still recover again and will be back to normal. Just like what Elon has made an impact to the market and then after a while, everyhthing's back to norma again.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: July 08, 2021, 06:36:21 PM
If you only rely on bitcoin, of course it will be difficult to profit in the short term, altcoins always promise a bigger profit than bitcoin, bitcoin will be difficult to reach 10x price but altcoins are easy to reach 10x even in a month.
What altcoin can reach 10x in one month? try to mention it and after that try to see the price of Bitcoin in 2019 until early 2021, whether the price of Bitcoin has reached 10x or even 20x, because only people who just woke up say that, because Altcoins will only pump well if Bitcoin market is in good shape, you can see an example now where the average Altcoin is declining while Bitcoin is experiencing a decline in the market, so wash your face and see what happens in the market before you say such things. Grin Cheesy
Altcoins are only profitable if they have bigger utility case in their community but if the altcoins you are holding are just an ordinary coin without high potentials to increase its value in the future, then you will not really bound to make good profits.

However, bitcoins are always profitable no matter how dump its value, it will always come up surging with new heights. This comes the advantage of bitcoin, it will always recover even how low its value. So most of the investors prefer to invest in bitcoin because even if its quite expensive compared to altcoins, the returns will always worth the wait.
2183  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 07, 2021, 09:55:34 PM
I am okay with that but what makes me disgusted is that the vaccines seems like being traded and not freely distributed. I think all countries should help the production of the vaccines and they should not buy it. In my opinion, in the name of humanity, the companies who produce the vaccines should not take a profit from it. I think it will be better if countries only pay the production cost only then the vaccines should freely distributed to the citizens. Or I think vaccines should not be patended so every country can produce it freely, for me that is the part of humanity.
Don't expect for this thing to happen. This is becoming a business and theres no such thing about free distribution knowing about the cost of creating vaccine is already an expense and yes it does sounds
bad but its just a typical thing.

Pharmaceuticals will really be charging up something or selling it simply.Try to look on how many companies had tried out to create one of this corona virus pandemic?

We have hear out some rumors about business taking which Im not really surprised at all.
Business will always be business. It will not stop making returns since it also start with huge capital particularly for the vaccines that should be acquired by the government. The government should be the one to pay for it and it should be distributed freely to its citizens.

Vaccines does not guarantee that you won't be covid free for the rest of your life. There are still chances that you will be covid 19 positive but you will only experience mild symptoms unlike those who never got vaccinated and this virus will always be a big threat for their health.
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 07, 2021, 09:27:57 PM
can not predict it, but the time as long as it could be, technology has been destroyed, it also includes bitcoin, because even at this time we are at the peak of the technological age, there will definitely be technology back down, not even there is any more in the world, bitcoin is just a historical story, even I am sure, we ourselves will also have passed away.
We never know what future might await those supporters who still using this system.

hard to say if our existence still exist from that said time, but if technology still exist and still growing we also can't dictate
that this system might over, chances  that it will progress and continue to prosper are there, those usages that being enjoyed aside from
being an asset for investment but those transactions between borders if being used correctly it will attract more possible ed users,.
Bitcoin might be in heavy progress and possibly a legal tender by that time. Looking at how bitcoin had improve even in just 10 years after birth, so how much more 100 years from now. It's price will be in its highest peak if volatility will stay.

But one thing i'm certain, i don't think we still exist by that time. People just get old and then gone. But bitcoin and its blockchain will have its long way to go and a brighter that awaits for it.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: July 07, 2021, 02:59:43 PM
There's PandaCoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1960307.1260;topicseen

and LiteDoge

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1308769.0

I know there are many more but not sure about the others that are still around and family friendly.

Unfortunately these 2 coins are not on the market, in my opinion it is too risky to buy older Meme coins, buying new Meme coins is definitely better and more profitable.
The market seems to favor with meme coins nowadays just like dogecoin which was hyped by Elon. But if not Elon, i don't think this meme coin will be profitable for sure. And to think Elon is getting less followers than before, so meme coins won't be hyped anymore and might only stay low valued coins.

Meme coins are definitely very risky to invest, be it old or new. I don't think they will recover again if they got dumped. Not unlike those top coins listed on CMC, they have more chances and have bigger opportunities to grow more in the future. And i honestly think investing in those meme coins is just like gambling your own money.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best for long term investment? on: July 07, 2021, 02:23:50 PM
Just look for solid dev teams building real products. Don't get caught up in the shilling, look at fundamentals and be patient.
OP is asking "Which Currency" , meaning he does not understand how to find one and you are just shitposting about to look for Solid Dec and real products things that is obviously what we all know from the start.
but the thing is is it really easy to find one?
because if this is truly happening then we are all Richer by now.
Op stated his own list of cryptocurrencies for long term invesment, its just shows that he did his own research already to come up with that list.
Anyway I agree that its not easy to determine if the project is solid or has potential (especially those new ones sprouting). Thus established coins are still the best pick (like bitcoin, eth and bnb) when it comes to long term investment.
Based from the lists above, bitcoin will always be the best for long term investment. It will always be the crowd's favorite. But bnb and ethereum are still next to bitcoin. Well bitcoin and these two altcoins have different utility case so when it comes to long term investment, i think these 3 coins should always be on the top.

However, since the market is very unpredictable so i'm not closing doors to other coins because they might be more profitable in the near future, who knows? The fact that you know how to manage your coins, then it will still generate profits in the long run.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 07, 2021, 12:55:43 PM
Bravo to the government of Vietnam, because they now understand that blockchain is a disruptive technology. It is a good thing that this level of understanding and awareness is slowly evolving.

Have you even read the story in detail? The Vietnamese government is coming up with their own version of the CBDC shitcoin. They are not allowing any real cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin or Ethereum to be traded freely. Apart from the format, it is just a digital version of the national currency. For cryptocurrency users, this is more of a negative news. China also recently came up with their own version of the CBDC. And they started cracking down on the usage of real cryptocurrency immediately after that, in order to remove competition.
I never heard the news but this is more of a fake news. Vietnam won't allow bitcoin because apparently, they will launch their own crypto like what had China did. Banning of bitcoin might be their second step i guess once they have legalized already their own digital currency.

Bitcoin who's believed to be the future of financial system is still very impossible this time. But only time will tell. As long as bitcoin will continue to exist, the chances of gaining more popularity and demand is very possible. So let's just wait and see.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: July 07, 2021, 12:22:22 PM
Being the pioneer, the lifespan of bitcoin would be longer than the other coins.
We have seen great projects emerging right now, those with great use or utilization.
This could help continue the progress of widespread crypto adoption.
The future of BTC is still unclear, but let's hope for the better.
Bitcoin will always be unpredictable and so is the future of it. But seeing how bitcoin have overcome all those trials way back then, i think bitcoin will create a bright future. Maybe today we can't say that bitcoin is very popular and is legally adopted by the government but as soon as bitcoin prove how potential it is for the country's economy, then hopefully by that time the government will already adopt and embrace bitcoin in the financial system. Though it can't replace fiat in the real sense, but hopefully it can be a great option for fiat.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 06, 2021, 10:09:34 PM
Of course if we invest in meme coins like that all we can do is buy and sell them when we get a profit, and to make long-term investments for such coins is obviously very risky. But if you really believe in a good future for this coin, it's better to buy in small quantities because the current price is still very cheap.
Meme coins although risky to invest but i think they are profitable for now. So buying even a small part of them might also bring profits somehow. But if i were to invest with huge funds, i prefer to put my capital into those old and established coins that have been very profitable since then. New coins like these meme coins might be profitable but i think they are only good for short term investments and won't survive for long term.
2190  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: July 06, 2021, 08:47:18 PM
But it's worth considering exactly when to spend your money. Depending on the situation, you can spend them with some benefit.
After spending money on the downtrend, you significantly increase the likelihood of receiving large investment returns, that is, profit.

That is buying in dips, and hold them until the prices get into their peaks and that's the time to sell. If this will be your strategy, you will definitely add more big returns into your investments. Huge profits are made from good decisions.

But if you just spend your money without thinking how tomorrow will be, then it might only cause you more struggles in the future. Spending your money is not a mistake but at least you spend it for good purposes.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still the favorite choice on: July 05, 2021, 09:57:12 PM
Another crypto currencies don't have bitcoin's potential because they are biased. There is always a developer individual or team behind altcoins which have personal interests that could lead to blatant manipulation. With bitcoin it's different because the original crypto currency gives the impression it was created for a more idealistic loyal purpose by its creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who wasn't solely focused in financial gains, but mainly in financial freedom.
Bitcoin is not all about profits that made
people more thrilled but having it as a currency that give us more convenience compared to fiat, is simply what people are also making bitcoin as a top favorite. When it comes to profits, bitcoin hits number 1 and we can also expect that bitcoin will be used as a global currency in the near future.

Bitcoin has definitely its own advancements towards others and as this years pass by, we can expect more positive developments for bitcoin not just in its price but more on its own adoption as a currency.
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 05, 2021, 09:34:47 PM
if market conditions have improved then you should not be rash in making decisions, or sell all assets owned !! I think it's something wrong, if it can last for a few sensitive times in the future, maybe the market will continue to improve. I think like that

That's absolutely correct. Now is definitely not a good time to sell as the market is consolidating. It would be better to average out the portfolio now.
If market continues to rise then we might not see these prices again in near future. Also, keeping an eye on the prices and monitoring it would be good.
Staying updated to the crypto news and prices would make us a step ahead in getting in at a good opportunity.
I have bought whatever I could and I would be HODLing now until we see the peak prices again.
The market is still not stable so i would say we are not yet becoming bullish and is still in a dump season. This still a good opportunity to buy cheap coins as long as the prices are still low. But if this market will start to become green, prices will eventually start rising again and we will miss those opportunities again.

For now, i'm still observing the market and waiting if this price correction will continue. I prefer to hold my coins until i see the market is in a bullish, then maybe i will start selling my coins when the prices are definitely in their new peaks.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: July 02, 2021, 09:28:51 PM
Vaccine passports can't be faked. And I don't think that someone will try to fake it, just to gain access to a casino without mask requirement.

Lol, you're joking? "fake vaccine cards" is the first in google search, lol.

Here some news links about it - https://www.modernhealthcare.com/safety-quality/yes-some-people-really-are-faking-their-covid-vaccine-cards
And Bloomberg: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-06-22/fake-covid-vaccine-cards-paper-format-open-to-outright-fraud

There is a lot of fake passports and even more people that don't want to vaccinate and ready to buy such shit. And yeah, i'm for 100 % sure that trough gamblers there also a lot of such people.

It's a suicide going to a place where you know people have a virus and you go there without protection, that's being stupid and irresponsible. I think this kind of violation needs to have serious sanctions if one is prevented to be roaming around with fake cards or certifications, they are just creating danger while the government is working hard to eliminate the problem.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: July 02, 2021, 08:34:45 PM
I don't think you can still be a responsible gambler even though you lose too much money on gambling.

The way I see it, you can be a responsible gambler only if you don't lose more than you can afford to. Losing too much money means you are pretty addicted to gambling. There is no way I can view this as being responsible. It sounds more like an excuse.

Totally agree!  Cheesy
This sentence "I can loose too much money but i still be a responsible gambler " this is some kind of nonsense. First part and second part is contradictory to each other. If you're loosing 20k, you're not a "responsible gambler" for sure  Grin

The word you lose too much would already make you irresponsible since you did not anymore follow the principle.

The principle is very simple, gamble what you can afford to lose, so losing too much is not something you can afford anymore.
Sometimes we make simple things complicated just to justify our mistakes in gambling, but we didn't know, the more we justify it, the more the problem will grow and we will just regret it when the time comes.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 02, 2021, 08:15:48 PM
Hawks has to cover a lot of grounds, Brook Lopez dominated them inside. I'm still thinking though if Hawks can extend the series.
Brook Lopez? Really? Where did this guy come from, he played like a super star in a very very important game, we all expected Kris Middleton to play good, we expected Jrue Holiday to take his position as well and play good, so instead of giannis-kris it would be kris-jrue and that much was expected.

But I did not see Brook Lopez playing this well, dude is certainly one of the best scoring centers in our league and one of the most underutilized bigs at the same time. He is basically what Embiid became, yet just because he is not treated like a superstar people forget about Brook Lopez. Remember this dude is the leading scorer of the Nets organization as a whole, I am not saying he should be a superstar, but he should be close there, I do not remember that many Centers in the past 10 years that provided as consistently as Brook Lopez, many many many centers have better peaks then him, but none provided as long as him as well.

Well he played like a true center in this game, Capela was in foul trouble that's why he takes advantage of the situation. He had a good baby hook which he and his brother has been practicing and it's very effective, and he can shot three's as well. I would say that he is a good center for the Bucks team, they don't need like a Embiid center-like, they have Giannis to operate, but a center that can provide some scoring and good defense like what Lopez is providing for the Bucks.

I almost forgot we have Lopez on the bucks until I saw the game 5. Lopez was different that time, he played with confidence and he was so lucky as the ball is moving well and him being on the inside makes him operate without a problem. His biggest output was in game 5, you can also see the efficiency.

Yes, he can shoot outside with consistency, but his biggest strength is really inside as he can be trusted to contribute both on offense and defense inside . If we will see the same performance of Lopez in game 5, then I guess this series will not anymore extend.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 02, 2021, 07:58:04 PM

I am so amazed at the team play of the Bucks this is why they are the fan favorite, but if Trae Young would play on game 6 this could be back for the Milwaukee Bucks the team coordination and play for the Hawks will surely change, I think because of the homecourt advantage this is a good time to bet for the Hawks.

That's the only reason why the Hawks would win, betting odds will not lie, they may come out as a slight underdog in the end but we can't deny they are dangerous at home and might adjust to win game 6. I just have a feeling that we will this series down to the wire, and in game 7, it will be anybody's ball game.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: July 02, 2021, 04:16:44 PM
This days there are so many tokens appearing with a very large total supply, tokens like this are often called "Shit-coin/shit-token".
Many people say that this benefits the crypto world, but there are also those who say that it actually make the crypto world looks bad.

What do you guys think about this issue ?
Of course shitcoins make the crypto world looks bad specially for those newbie who would fall victim on them.
They would think that all or most of crypto are the same shit or useless like those shitcoins.
Only those who are gaining from those shitcoin manipulations are enjoying it.
The problem whit shitcoins are they are only good while they are high but when they fall don't expect them to recover again.
Shitcoins will always be bad coins or toke.ns in the eyes of the investors. They might give you temporary profits when their prices suddenly pump but when they dump, you will also end up making huge losses.

No matter how hard we try to avoid them, it won't be possible because their number of shitcoins are always adding. There are a lot of shitcoins in the market yet none of them have the potentials for long term investments.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin rebounding? on: July 02, 2021, 03:50:02 PM
Bitcoin is not currently rebounding, the price have been between $30k to $40k for some time now. Which I think I the right time to invest, if you have want. It current price today is around $31k.
But I believe Bitcoin will definitely rebound before the end of the year, it will probably hit a $100k.
I'll be honest, it is tempting to buy now, and I'll probably regret it if I don't. However, I'm pretty conservative regarding this matter, BTC has stabilized at approximately $35k mark for quite a while. I'm unsure on when it will recover (I believe that it will, but it might not be in the near future), thus I've decided not to buy, due to being in a budget right now and couldn't afford to have a few thousand standing there, in hopes they gain value.

I'm also worried about possible bull trap but I also consider the possible recovery so if this stability or the small pumps continue on upcoming days maybe I will think about to enter again. But for now I'm on standby mode since I can't afford to lose thats why I'm always careful on every decision I made on tradings.
I am following you because it seems the market is not giving us much sign. Hopefully, the situation will change in the next week. But waiting for a while will be a good idea and standby at this moment as we do not have to force ourselves to enter the market. We should analyze deeper to find out more info about the current situation to know where the price move.
Bitcoin  is taking a positive step at the moment and if this will continue, probably a price rebound will follow next. But i think it's too early to say that we are heading into another bull run again. Bitcoin price may suddenly fall down again and might end up into another downtrend. So the  best  thing we can do is just relax and wait for another price movement of bitcoin and see where will it settle.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 02, 2021, 01:28:31 PM

Could be, and hopefully we fans are going to see this great fight. Maybe they can do out of court settlement, I'm sure Sean Gibbons and Manny has hired an attorney already to face the lawsuit and do everything to resolved it.

Manny Pacquiao is a Senator in the Philippines, he surely is familiar with the law as his job requires him to be. Don't worry about this mess, it's just a small problem and Manny will be able to settle this problem without ruining his reputation. Also, he has a lot of lawyers that will take care of this problem.

Manny's focus now is training, that's it.

NorthPort has vital pieces to make good title run, warns Black

They only have Slaughter who is already not in his prime, I don't know what the Northport are talking about.
My personal opinion here, I think NP will not even make it to the playoffs, they can't by trusting Slaughter only.

It should be the SMB, BGSM, and Magnolia who will be the favorites to win the championship.
