2281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: October 31, 2020, 06:16:24 AM
Definitely it is a good career to choose for high paid jobs but the opportunities are really less in numbers than other traditional jobs so it depends on the users mindset whether they want to take risk of their life or just go with formal one. If you are young and not have much responsibility then you are very ft to take that risk.
This is not right. who said that the opportunities are less? there are tons of opportunities in the blockchain industry. startups and companies are willing to hire people. just go check some of their Career pages. they always have open positions. check websites like https://crypto.jobs and other job boards. and mainstream freelancing sites like Upwork is full of blockchain jobs and lots of new jobs posted every day.

it all depends on the skills and experience. in some fields, we have a lot of people who provide a specific kind of service like Bounty managers, Campaign managers, ICO marketing agencies, etc,  and in some other fields, we have shortages of skills like Smart contract development. coding. full-stack development. java and python and solidity developers. if you go to the mentioned places above. you will always see open positions in these categories.
There are really tons of opportunities that you can join and start a career in the blockchain industry other than joining airdrops, and signature/ bounty campaigns in this Bitcointalk forum. So if you have talent, knowledge, or skills in programming languages, smart contracts, video editing, graphic design, and content writing; you have a chance to get one of these positions because some projects are looking for these fields.
2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: October 31, 2020, 05:42:54 AM
Now there are much more interesting projects on the cryptocurrency market than Ethereum. now, ethereum really remains the king of altcoins, but how long this will continue - no one knows.

As long as they can keep up and as long as they offer new features they will stay in their position, there have been a lot of threats and there was a time that they are overtaken by Ripple although in just a short period of time, but now they have a lot of competitor not just Ripple, so it's very interesting what will be the case in three years.
I don't think Ripple will be able to beat the ethereum platform because so far the technology owned by ethereum is more sophisticated and more widely used for various companies, so I think Ripple will have a hard time replacing or beating ethereum.

although currently ethereum is in trouble with huge gas transaction fees, i am sure ethereum has thought about this and will provide better developments.
Indeed. There is no chance for Ripple/XRP to beat or replace Ethereum for being the king or top altcoins in the market because the Ethereum goal was to create or run decentralized services based on Blockchain technology. Ripple is also a promising coin because even it has a low price is still a good investment opportunity than other coins, but it has a different purpose and not suitable to beat ETH.
2283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: October 30, 2020, 02:46:28 PM
It depends to you if you would hold or trade your cryptocurrencies because there are some who are not good trading, that is why they only hold their cryptocurrencies. But i think it's better if you do both trading and holding, and make a plan for it. For example, if you will only hold your bitcoins and trade your altcoins, you could have a passive and daily income at the same time.
2284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi and Bitcoin - Thoughts and Goals? (+Poll) on: October 30, 2020, 02:15:16 PM
I can imagine many Paypal users will have the same trajectory. They'll buy it on there, learn more about it, realise they are now trapped and then either attempt to escape or quit in disgust.
No one is going to force you to make use of PayPal, you already have other wallets to make use of, although I know that many people will choose PayPal because it’s accepted on many places online and some people here have always wanted a means to pay with Bitcoin for online shopping platform amazon and with PayPal coming to Bitcoin it’s going to be providing that opportunity for the people that has been in need of it, they will all be able to spend their coins whenever and wherever they want.

But it’s not a must, if their services doesn’t work for you, best to stay out.
Indeed. No one would be forcing you to use PayPal to buy or sell bitcoin with its network because there are other ways for you to use bitcoins. The only reason why some people will use PayPal because it is accepted worldwide and it will be convenient for others to shop online with their bitcoins. But I truly don't recommend using PayPal to store your funds or bitcoins because they are a custodial wallet, which means you don't have a financial freedom with your funds. I also encounter problems making transactions with PayPal, and they didn't make any actions about it even I message them.
2285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about future Pi Network cryptocurrency value? on: October 30, 2020, 01:53:22 PM
I don't think such a useless project can last for five or ten years, rather I would say it will end soon. Hence, you need to be careful.
I recommend that you read this post; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237735.0
Many people do really think that this Pi Network project is a scam because it is too good to be true for you to mine a cryptocurrency only with your smartphones. I also heard that someone used their PIs as a medium of exchange to buy goods and services. It's sad to think that others are blind that they can't see they are being deceive by this bad project.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 01:06:09 PM
From my perspective, I would stop playing gambling in a crypto casino if bitcoin's price had reached its new ATH price because I would be more dedicated to hold and maintain all of my bitcoin in my wallet in a long-term. There are also chances that transaction fees will increase, so it would be troublesome to deposit and withdraw my bitcoins in a crypto casino.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 30, 2020, 12:34:07 PM
I think it is doubtful for gambling sites to have a 0% house edge because how would casinos earn money if they don't have an advantage and can make money in every gambler's bet. I think I can't play nor trust if I encounter a gambling site that doesn't have a house edge because it is too good to be true that it might be a scam.
2288  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maging mapagmatyag at maingat on: October 29, 2020, 01:25:37 PM
Tama.
2289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 29, 2020, 12:34:10 PM
Of course once you involved yourself here in cryptocurrency there are only two ways for us to earn, the first one is you need to invest to buy coin depending on which one do you like. And you shouldn't rely on copy trading because it is still much better to have your own way to make trade to earn here in cryptocurrency.
Indeed. You don't need to copy and rely on one person's strategy in trading because it is much better if you will make and discover your strategy and plan to see how fun and worth it trading. Trading independently is not easy because you first need to control your emotions for you to make the right decisions or make a successful trade. But once you get the hang of it, you will realize that trading on cryptocurrencies is not that hard.
2290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: October 29, 2020, 06:16:22 AM
Maybe it depends on how we use the trading bot, because the trading bot doesn't run automatically on its own. Must be set first
and must be updated regularly to be able to get profit. For me trading bots can't make a good profit, maybe because I can't do
the settings properly. So I often experience losses when using trading bots, even my capital runs out. That's why I prefer manual
trading only.
Automated trading bots definitely will not help make a good profit because it is only a computer program that will help you buy and sell cryptocurrencies at the right time, so it won't help you make a successful trade. Trading bots are only good at managing your portfolios while you are away and not wasting a lot of time; that is why manual trading is still the best way to make a successful trade.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 29, 2020, 05:04:29 AM
I think this people has lack of patience that is why they tend to give up easily with the technical movements of bitcoin. They wanted to get profits so quick and obviously they don't want to hodl their bitcoins for too long, or maybe there are just an extreme need of money that's why they need to sell their digital currency quickly. Perhaps this people have their own reasons behind giving up so early and we should just respect them. This act will make them realized about holding their assets though, for greater profits in the future and they will surely learn somehow.
Probably lack of knowledge too, if they are knowledgeable, they would understand what bitcoin is, its nature and its potential, hence they will not be afraid of holding long because those investors who are enjoying their profit now are those who really trust the world "HODL".
Indeed. Others will find bitcoin interesting and worth it if they don't lack patience and knowledge about it. Most people wanted an instant profit, but bitcoin doesn't work that way, which is why they give up too early without knowing that bitcoin is worth the wait if they hold it in the long-term and understand its real value. I think many people have financial issues in life. Still, they don't need to rush themselves to earn considerable profit in an instant by just buying bitcoin; they also need to become independent, dedicated, diligent, and enthusiastic, just like working in a real job for them to get rich with it.
2292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: October 29, 2020, 04:00:13 AM
Its a pleasure to aware about bitcoin is dominating currency of google search by 80%. but Dogecoin reserved  1,8%, that's wondering to me.because dogecoin is not a good coin for trading or holding for long.no progress has been since several years.actually search volume isn't means users use that coin. I also search so many tokens for collect temporary information but in reality, i don't hodl them at all.
No doubt that bitcoin is the most searched cryptocurrencies on google because it is the most popular and number one coin in the crypto market. I think you are too harsh on Dogecoin for not being a good coin because even Dogecoin didn't make any progress for many years, I still manage to survive until now, and many people are speculating that Doge will increase its price this year in 2020.
2293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 28, 2020, 03:51:19 PM
Honestly, it doesn't really affect my gameplay or how I gamble because whether bitcoin's price increase or decreases, I still lost and managed to win a considerable profit in gambling. I only get motivated to hold all of my bitcoins when bitcoin's price pumps up, which is why I temporarily stop playing gambling for a while. So I could able to maintain my long-term investment until bitcoin reaches its ATH again.
2294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: October 28, 2020, 03:27:13 PM
Many people have speculated that bitcoin might never reach or reach its ATH, but bitcoin is very unpredictable due to its volatility that no one can say when it will go up or down. So we should only wait and see what will happen in the future because many people and investors expect bitcoin's ATH to make a comeback, which is why they are maintaining their holdings or long-term investments.
2295  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anyone using crypto exchange wallet on: October 28, 2020, 02:56:20 PM

I've tried it in the past rin nung baguhan palang ako sa Bitcoin and didn't have a problem. But now that I know better, take note na kahit magforce man sila ng KYC o hindi, custodial service ang FreeWallet. Kumbaga you're taking extra risk na as if sa exchange nakadeposit ung funds mo. Might as well leave funds on Coins.ph and Binance nalang at least mas reputable sila.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0
https://cryptosec.info/wallets
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even if you buy a hardware device from an authorised reseller, you need to check on: October 28, 2020, 02:32:45 PM
Probably this is another way of doing scam. There are many scammers in cryptocurrency because they take advantage on it. Since this is not regulated and protection is not quite high like no authorities has been tasked to monitor the events and happenings of cryptocurrency because we wanted as much as possible without the interference of the government that could also defeat of its purpose being a decentralized. Anyway, I do believe that one day cryptocurrency will go strong and that include the strengthening of security system.
Many people wish that someday security could not be a problem, so we would not bother or think about our protecting our sensitive data and funds stored in our wallets. But I think it is impossible because no technology is safe from hackers and scammers capable of stealing someone's data and funds. It is why we should always be careful about the things we buy online; even they are an authorized reseller of hardware devices.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 28, 2020, 01:56:12 PM
Suppose you are really dedicated to spreading the usage and benefits of having bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology in Algeria as a crypto enthusiast. In that case, I wish you luck because many people have tried to persuade others about buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But they failed because not all people are not into investments and can afford to have bitcoin as a currency.
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 27, 2020, 02:26:30 PM
maybe binance coin a complete cryptocurrency project, a lot of excess in this project with its own exchange called binance
lets the time answer  Wink

BNB is certainly a good coin for both traders and investors. But it still remains a Binance exchange coin, which allows you to earn passive income on the BNB token staking. And the goal of Ethereum was to create decentralized services based on the blockchain.
Indeed. Every cryptocurrency has its purpose like BNB that it can be used for trading with cryptocurrencies and pay for fees in the Binance exchange. While ETH, it can also be used for trading like other cryptocurrencies and can be used to create Dapps based on blockchain technology. So BNB is not suitable to become the next Ethereum, but it is a good coin.
2299  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: October 27, 2020, 01:47:02 PM
Coronavirus or COVID-19 is the reason why most countries are experiencing a huge downfall in their economy because production has stopped, that every worker temporarily lost their jobs due to community quarantine lockdowns. It is also why fiat currencies, banking system, and stocks are suffering during the pandemic. Unlike bitcoin, it saves our financial system from falling due to its decentralization.
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 27, 2020, 12:36:45 PM
Better be ready in emergency things that may come across the road that we don't really expect like accident or serious sickness.

Mine is stored in my ledger and my Eldest son and my wife has an access(since my children are trustworthy and lovable)
so in any case that i die without expectation they will handle my funds.

My wife also have knowledge in crypto so basically she will keep my way of dealing in this community and market.
Always expect the unexpected. No one actually knows when a person will die, so we should always be ready for it.

Same as you, I tell one of my family members about bitcoin and cryptocurrency; that is why my brother knows where I hid all of my private keys and how to access all of my crypto wallets because they will need it in case of emergency. Telling one of your family members about your bitcoins or your crypto investments is important because if they didn't know about it, all of your bitcoin or funds will only stay in your wallet and cannot be taken.
