2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community - ICO successfully Completed! on: December 30, 2018, 05:41:20 PM

I wonder if the customer service works with multiple languages as well... But i would trade that to customer service that  understands and speaks proper English any day. Hopefully EOSex has that.

I wouldn't expect customer service to have multiple language though. Its a start up company, maybe after years.
The team hired ambassadors to some countries and members of the team are also from the major countries like China, most of the people in crypto I guess understood English as well.
2302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: December 28, 2018, 05:15:39 PM
lately the value of bitcoin tends to be stable and persist in the range of $ 3000. when a lot of altcoins keep moving up or down, bitcoin is still very slow, and that certainly makes investors and hodlers a little hurt by this situation. but this is a good start to starting market movements next year.

Bitcoins price movements are generally slower as compare to the altcoins. The reason for this is that bitcoin marketcap is much larger than any of the alt and it is not easy to manipulate the bitcoins easily as compare to alts which are low in volume.

I find it quicker though. Exactly the reason why most traders like to trade BTC too because its easy to profit with a good timing. I don't think you can manipulate prices by yourself. If in a day the price hit up to 2%, its a spike and you might wanna sell and wait for the price to dip again.
2303  Other / Serious discussion / Re: San Pedro prison in Bolivia on: December 28, 2018, 04:50:44 PM

They're up to punish the criminals so they take it to the extremes. Bolivia isn't so much of a rich country, they do have a salt sea which was a terrible disaster already. I'm sure they do need a President like Duterte who does impose law that men will be force to be a law abiding citizen.

2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community - ICO successfully Completed! on: December 28, 2018, 04:22:50 PM
I just saw this in facebook update: EOSex is going multilingual. EOSex is now available in 10 different languages.

EOSEX team really made the exchange available for more audiences by translating the site to targeted countries. This will ensure more traders to come into the platform.

By the way, EOSex Hybrid Exchange is now officially live! more of it here https://medium.com/@EOSex/eosex-hybrid-exchange-is-now-officially-live-d286295dc46c
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's identity on: December 27, 2018, 04:36:20 PM
Satoshi disowned Bitcoin dot com here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88.msg806#msg806 He sounds a bit defensive with the post. as if to say "we didn't copy Bitcoin from the website"

I have a feeling he didnt plan to be anonymous.
Anything is possible though.
Sometimes his writing looks like that of a well known person who still use this forum

Why use an alias in the first place if you do not plan to be anonymous? Some part of him must have always knew it would be a potential option. I find it a more interesting question to consider if he's anonymous for his own good or for the good of bitcoin?

People from the internet are already concerned of privacy long before BItcoin existed and Satoshi is just one. There are more of these people here in the forum today, some are just buying paypal accounts and upwork accounts so they can hide identities. If he really wants to reveal himself he can do it but I'm sure he prefer to stay private and unknown. Leave it that way.
2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of coins any advice? on: December 27, 2018, 04:20:58 PM
I don’t know why many people like to invest so much in top coins and coins that have already been propelled quite strongly before. Why spend time on it when you can invest in new tokens of projects that only this year have completed their IСO. I chose the project Ethеerа and I think I guessed right with this investment.

Top coins are the surest to go up though. From Op's list I would definitely be selling it all and move his money to EOS or ETH or stay as BTC and keep trading with USDT. Is not good to keep a lot of coins that you can't track in the end. Why put more on PUNdiX? Though there is future to it but it may take time before that will happen. You lose opportunity from the other pairs.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: December 27, 2018, 03:19:14 AM

We don't have to claim or do anything anything to receive our ETCV right?

I don't mind receiving some of it as long as I don't get to send some ETH to the team.  Scalability is always something to work on for a project.

If they have BCHSV then so be it, ETH can also have that ETCV. Whatever they wanna call it.
2308  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2011 People Called Bitcoin's Price of $0.70 "Ridiculous"... on: December 26, 2018, 11:40:12 AM
The first posts are funny when you think of it now.

Quote
i wonder if these people all share the same mental illness, or if it's more of a general hodgepodge of stupid

Maybe some of those guys bought a few BTC out of curiosity and got rich as fuck without really knowing what they were doing.
Good find OP, thanks for this !

I bet they'd find it more ridiculous now that its more than $3500.
OP is digging post of more than 5 years from other forums, I wonder if he also spam there to promote a bitcoin related business. Smiley

There are still people doing it today, they can't believe it asking what sort of things happen to people buying BTC when its all just a digital byte without value. You can go over to digitalpoint forum where webmasters stays but there are people there promoting btc as well.
2309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Street is Backing Out of Crypto on: December 26, 2018, 05:39:06 AM
We've seen enough news about bitcoin in forex market already, not longer than 5 years we will be seeing crypto being used on street level.
More of them will be joining, the more the merrier of course although there are more of them that will also be cashing out every time grabbing more out from you too.  More will also grab money.
2310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to choose a good project for investment? on: December 26, 2018, 04:57:30 AM

They're not all scam. You just have to choose which one that you have thoroughly investigated. Although there are some that later on announce they are canceling the project but I don't think they'd be doing it without refunding. There are good projects out there, you just have to check whether the concept can be applied to the blockchain real well.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community - ICO successfully Completed! on: December 25, 2018, 02:30:07 PM
As I see, the project can compete for a decent place. I want to hear criticism.
What are the weaknesses of this project?
Weakness of this project? Umm, hard to say.

I don't actually know what weakness he meant but most of the exchange that will struggle are the ones that has less traders on it thus less volume.  I can not say yet whether there will be less volume to EOSEX since there are already lots of users on it. Come the time when its finally live, I think there will considerable amount and hope it will continue to grow.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: December 22, 2018, 01:24:12 PM
Why should you limit yourself to only chose from the 5 coins, there are far better tokens that those 5 and a much advance one. There's EOS, ETH and Cardano.
But if you to chose among the 5, chose the BAT, its already paired with USD so you shuold be able to trade safely with it/.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think WAVES will have their place in top 10 during the 2019? on: December 22, 2018, 06:51:05 AM
Very very unlikely to happen, why would it go to top 10 if we have more than 100 projects out there with their advanced technology and marketing.
let's break it down, Bitcoin will be the king absolutely.
the second one, will be between ETH/XRP/BCash/EOS. and other projects are, XLM, NEO, ADA, BSV, and Litecoin.

indeed it is possible for Waves to get to top 10 in the future, but before reaching that point. they need to prove us their worthiness.

Make sense. You're right about that too. They'd have to beat numerous tokens with advanced technology like NEO which I myself believe to be one of the best investment I got. And then there is this BSV, though I hate to think this is just a fork, it will still be on top knowing that its been supported by their community.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty platforms on: December 22, 2018, 06:44:06 AM

I once registered to one of these platform and seem like there are more scam ICOs there that are more of a scam. they were not investigated by the users from this forum because they didn't create an ANN thread here. But those who are into social media bounties, its going to be advantageous for them as they can do it automatically which means they could cheat.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 21, 2018, 03:56:00 PM
Don't be surprised if Waves and the entire market comes back down where it was in a week ago. This is likely just a temporary bounce.

You will make the people to miss this train with this kind of reminders even all big players are saying bear market is almost over. I don't think this is temporary moment now we have more big news than before.

Its not yet over though. The market still is in bear. But its a good thing for those who wants to invest as its cheaper. Its less than $5. The beauty of this project is that the supply stays 100M no matter what, you an only lease your waves for DPOS to earn waves, it won't generate more waves.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves are going up on: December 20, 2018, 03:13:50 AM

Looks like its just something of a spike only.  Grin

It dip so fast last night, it gets serious if the price is more than $10 already. I look into the dex which had changed a lot but the volume still is the real problem. Maybe they really need o hire someone who will make it appear like it has big trades going on.
2317  Economy / Services / Re: Marketing Services - PR, SEO, Outreach and Content Strategy on: December 20, 2018, 03:05:13 AM

Can you PM me the packages please?

I'm assuming $1k would be for a month only or for the whole time til the whole packages are delivered. so even if it will take about more than a month I'd be paying just $1k til all the links are up and indexed by search engines?
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bubbletone Blockchain in Telecom on: December 19, 2018, 03:52:38 PM

Thanks for posting the answered questions. I just knew about that locked tokens where 3% is unlocked every month. When you think the API will be done?
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive? on: December 18, 2018, 12:40:28 PM
EOS recently just gain 25% green, it rarely happen to a coin but it did for EOS. It shows how much support it got from tis community. There are speculations that it will rival ETH so why not just believe in both after all they are both something you can invest. I myself have invested on ETH and EOS as well.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: December 18, 2018, 12:27:33 PM
You can now trade DENT against BTC on BITBOX exchange they are also running some promotion for the DENT community.

https://www.bitbox.me/notice/20100068

That is attractive promo this will attract so many people to join this exchange to get rewarded and trading pool share is also very nice. 20k DENT is not a small amount even at the moment value of this token is little bit low but it won't remain of this level in future surely it will get recover.

I agree 20k DENT is a lot of free tokens. The only issue is that the exchange takes a really long time to verify the identity lol.

It does mean that those verified by the date said are the only that will receive the 20k dents which means if you aren't verified yet after that date you get get nothing and they get your data thats sweet. Smiley  Are they the only who give the tokens away or the team sponsored it? This exchange doesn't even have enough volume.
DENT's biggest volume is currently on BITBOX, why do you say that there is a small volume? 324,000 $ in this 24-hour in BITBOX, amazing

Most exchange are also involve in wash trading though, its not surprise to see much volume but with no effect to its price. If you are going to promote your exchange by means of impressing traders thru the volume then they'd make it look like there are huge volume on their platform. If you look at the ranking of the exchange, bitbox is beyond a hundred.
