Unfortunately, scammers also try to take advantage of our good nature.

By profession I am a fashion designer, so I can make even the most ordinary clothes in the unique.

I embroider, draw, and make decorative artworks, and it helps me a lot.

There were many political and economic problems, and I was  emigrating to Poland because of the lack of employment and fears for my life

Here is my twitter https://twitter.com/5Ksana
About ME https://5ksana.art/about/
My artworks BITCOINART https://5ksana.art/category/bitcoinart/

I really like your work. I hope that you will be find a way to raise enough funds for your machine. If you want to try your luck, you could potentially win 0,00155 BTC here, but it's totally random, and not a big amount.

Keep us updated and good luck!

2343  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 2% fee solo mining 273 blocks solved! on: April 08, 2023, 02:21:00 PM
Hey guys,
I am playing here with some vey low hashrate stuff...
I left it mining overnight but my stats still dont show up on https://solo.ckpool.org/users/1D1VHU4....
Does it take some time to appear there? How long should it take for the pool to serve my stats?

Nope it appears when you submit your first share

Is your BTC address right ?
What do you have in cgminer or in your ASIC logs ? Pool is up and connected ?

2344  Local / Petites annonces / Re: J'ai besoin de 350 ETH Goerli on: April 08, 2023, 12:16:56 PM
Up

2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Ranked Second As Bitcoin Miners on: April 08, 2023, 09:51:39 AM
Yeah that's not surprising. They have the perfect capabilities to organize very large scale mining. The climate is quite cooperative compared to the need for ASICs in terms of temperature, and above all, the electricity is really cheap.
I had wondered during the mining problems in Kazakhstan if iall the ASICs were going to end mining in Russia or not at this time.

I am really curious to see what consequences the changes in American law will have on the taxation of mining etc.. I wonder where all these ASICs are going to be hosted if things are not going well in the USA, Russia seems pretty good bet, but in some North Africa nations it's starting to open up on the mining issue and they have unbeatable power rates. I think that when the infrastructure will allows it, they will emerge

2348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 08, 2023, 09:42:06 AM
Quote
This question is simple because the answer is unequivocally YES but the answer has complex and deep meaning so let's get on it. Buying or trading bitcoin is an activity that considered as inherently risky. If you engage in that kind of activity you can consider yourself as a risk taker.  Why it is considered as inherently risky? It is because the outcome of buying bitcoion are probable not guaranteed meaning that we are not sure if we can make money. We are simply taking risk when we buy or trade bitcoin BUT it doesn't mean that we are correspondingly accepting the risk of buying bitcoin and that is the PROBLEM.

I agree with a lot of the messages that have been written in this topic.
Any form of investment involves risk. Risk/reward projections when investing in a project are vital.

I think BTC is risky, but the risk inherent in holding Bitcoin is proportional to the chance that you can get in early enough.
I believe it is likely that in 20 or 30 years buying and holding Bitcoin will become less risky than it is today. However, if this is the case, you can bet that the value of BTC will be higher.
After all, this is just my point of view, we all agree that no one can predict the future of BTC or its future value...

From a personal point of view, I prefer to risk my money by buying BTC, than to go and try my luck too often at the casino. I have much more faith in BTC's ability to be profitable on a long term basis. So I consider myself a moderate risk taker

Grin
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Dust attacks on: April 06, 2023, 06:34:06 PM
I find the article from Binance Academy pretty efficient to give a good definition of dusting attacks :

Quote
A dusting attack refers to a relatively new kind of malicious activity where hackers and scammers try and break the privacy of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency users by sending tiny amounts of coins to their wallets. The transactional activity of these wallets is then tracked down by the attackers, who perform a combined analysis of different addresses to deanonymize the person or company behind each wallet.

They are not inherently dangerous regarding your funds, but can lead to losses if used as a subset of a long-prepared attack.

Dusting attacks make it easy to track your activity, and can be used as a "tracking device" to then attempt to infect your equipment with more dangerous attacks such as ransomware, cryptojacking etc.

I have the feeling that the BTC network has become too expensive for dusting attacks, but it is very common on BEP20 for example.

The best thing to do is to ignore them IMO

Is bitcoin involved somehow?

Yes, BTC seems to be inclunded, I just went on the website to check it :

Otherwise, @OP, your site is clean and goes straight to the point. It was not unpleasant to browse it. Pretty efficient interface, nice

I haven't taken the time to test it, but the fees seem honest for the ETH/BTC pair at least.
0.57 %

I just have two questions for you:

- do you have any sort of proof of reserve? I mean, why should we trust you ? the site is fresh and wouldn't be the first scam
- do you plan to offer a .onion url? This would allow to reach a much larger clientele, would be a real service to the community, and is not particularly difficult to set up

When it comes to real estate and Bitcoin, I'm always interested in discovering new projects and ideas.

Can you tell us a little bit more about the way people will finance themselves their projects ?

I know this is a very brief and simple description so if you'd like me to share more details alongside our website and whitepaper feel free to drop a comment below.
Do you already have an online website that we could see?
I would be interesed to check it and to read your whitepaper if it is already done.

Will followup your topic, have a great day!
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whitepaper Hidden in every Modern Copy of macOS on: April 06, 2023, 07:55:52 AM
I expect Craig "Faketoshi" Wright to take a legal action and file a copyright infringement lawsuit against Apple now.  Grin

Yeah exactly, I was going to write the same thing. When will there be an article mentioning a noisy trial about it? That's a godsend for him!  Grin

I had no idea that the whitepaper was hidden in Macos. If I understand correctly, it was an employee who did this a few years ago, and it was never corrected?
If so, we shouldn't jump to conclusions about Apple's hypothetical possession of Bitcoin, this may just be an Easteregg of an employee close to resignation. (Although personally I am convinced that every personality who own large amounts of money and a minimal knowledge of Bitcoin, has at least a little bit of it )

In any case it's really nice, that makes a huge number of copies of the paper in circulation, even offline.
I'm not an Apple user personally, but I wonder if there is also this in IOS ?  Who knows, maybe some tablets and phones also include the whitepaper

2356  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Change request question regarding limitations for sale and linking wallets on: April 06, 2023, 07:21:10 AM
Yes, I also had a little trouble understanding that you were talking about the big CEX.

But the logic remains the same, you couldn't prevent anyone from holding Bitcoin in a wallet, whether it's your wallet, mine, or Binance's hot wallet, the very nature of Bitcoin leaves everyone free to dispose of their funds and coins as they wish.
If you have a problem with the volatility of Bitcoin, then it's best not to use it as cash. Personally, I see Bitcoin as a storage asset, and I would be outraged to know that a new protocol would allow wallets to be locked, funds to be frozen, funds to be redistributed. The same goes for FIAT / BTC exchanges, anyone is supposed to do what they want, when they want, and at the scale (volume) they want

I can't understand how you don't see the abuse of centralization in the solutions you propose regarding what you wrote in your first post.

Quote
Going a bit off-topic now:
This would also help to making the protocol more halal and kosher.
If Bitcoin wants to go global then it should be compatible with more cultures.
Some people would not use Bitcoin because of religious doubts.
Because your food is not kosher if you pay with dirty money Wink

Who cares ? How did they buy food with USD / EUR or any other currency in this case ?
How can you be 100% that the notes in your wallet were never used to buy "dirty" things ?
Who knows ? Maybe my 100 usd note was previously used to pay for some drugs before I own it. To be honest, I wouldn't care about it, but I am still interested to know how FIAT can be considered safer than BTC regarding the sentences I quoted.

hello friends how about luck

   "hashrate1m": "44.4T",
   "hashrate5m": "50.1T",

0.746282560 G of work done already.

So with the current difficulty of 46.84T (which will probably increase during the next diff adjustment in around 10 hours):

46.84T = 46840G

So you have an idea of how much work you have to do if you want to mine a BTC block with an average 100% luck.

2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: April 06, 2023, 06:17:36 AM
I'm glad to read your story OP, it's always very nice to see some Bitcoin users which are handling transactions on a daily basis.

It could be very interesting to have more details, I mean, to know in which area of the world you are located. I am always very curious to know more about places which accept BTC for daily transactions (if it is your situation of course).

But I'm surprised that you did mention the fees : it is pretty rare to have bank transfer fees more expensive than BTC network ones, especially since Ordinals.
Could you explain what you mean ? Are you talking of the cost of a credit card or transfer fees when you talk about bank fees ?

2.I never thought that more transparency means more security. That's a weird theory. Can you elaborate more on this?
I think that more privacy means more security, which is the total opposite of your theory.

I agree with your point but with bitcoin : no chargeback/double-spend possible (once transaction has at least 1 confirmation on the blockchain), no possible way to pretend you didn't received the transaction and the fact to see the wallet's balance of some companies could act as a guarantee of creditworthiness from a customer perspective and could help to take better decisions when doing a business with an unknown company.
It depends of cases, but it is really possible to find useful applications of a public ledger regarding security and trustness.
