If you look into how US patents work on drugs you will find that pharma has a very big incentive to create a new drug all the time and then promote it as much as they can, because that is how they make their huge money, selling new drugs while the patent is still active for them to have all rights to the chemical..

They end up pushing a lot of NEW relatively unproven drugs, at times to children who they find some sort of disorder diagnosis for, and yes these drugs DO kill a lot of people..
Just by the statistics of the side effects, they kill a lot of people..

If you mean eugenics, like soros and the globalist leftists doing all they can to destroy western culture.. Then yeah..
You could also argue a strong case for their being an agenda out there for white ethnocide..

The EU promotes socialism, which is just another step closer to communism, to bring about a new hitler/stalin..
They are destroying the wests right to free speach, and right to bear arms all they can..

They are trying to get rid of national sovereignty and bring about 1 world government..

Their definitely are things to be concerned about and discuss..
2422  Other / Meta / Re: [paid spamming] Bump Bots post and delete thousands of posts per day NUKE PLEASE on: May 19, 2018, 05:44:47 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1389668.0

This bot is designed to post bumps, with a time interval (24 hour rules), and it even deletes it's last bump..

I read about this bot a long time ago, at the time it seemed to me to abide by forum rules for bumping and was a pretty cool idea.

So all your code of this is probably there in this bot, just change it a little bit to delete differently and post at a different interval, scale it up a bit, and you have what we see here with this new bumping scheme..

Here are a couple more search results..
https://github.com/achow101/BctalkBumpBot
https://github.com/buxlover/autobump

Nuking all the bump bot accounts may result in collecting a lot more evil fees..

I think you will have to take away the abilities of new accounts to make so many deletes to really stop it, until they find their next loophole..

Once again I'll say I'd like to find a way to make the companies themselves take the heat for it but their may not be a realistic way..

Is it still very profitable to sig spam with less than 10 merits?
-snip-
You have no idea what is going on in this place. The rest of your post is irrelevant. Spamming this place is very profitable and you don't need a sig. campaign nor merit.
I disagree..
You can disagree all you want, that won't change the facts. Both data and consistent anecdotal evidence prove my claims. If it didn't, we wouldn't have any kind of bumping services let alone specialized ones.

Do you think this thread reached 684 pages in 2 months naturally when you are supposed to be applying via forms? Hundreds/thousands of farmed jr. member accounts, but yeah "disagree" with me.  Roll Eyes

Who cares about the bounties section?
Keep them all right there where they belong.. It's just people claiming free dust and yeah dirty tricks like bumping perpetrated by the companies themselves..
The bounties section isn't designed to be good reading and good conversation no more than a telephone book is..

The problem is sig spam in places like bitcoin discussion where they spam their ico sigs all over the place in THOSE megathreads for postcount and all over all threads.. Even the BTC sig campaigns can get harry at times..

The sig spam leaks from the altcoins section across the entire forum, stop that first and then work on the dirty dealers in the altcoins section..

You'd think that the people from the few legit altcoins would get pissed at all the crapcoins cheating their way to the top and want to do something to moderate it themselves..

Compared to the sig spam thread bumping in the bounties board is just not that big of a factor..

It's a bit different when they are in your house..
2425  Other / Meta / Re: [paid spamming] Newbie Bump Bots post and delete thousands of posts per day on: May 19, 2018, 07:43:05 AM
Why don't you check out who is paying "them" to do the bumping?
If "they" aren't one in the same person(s) you'd expect to be paying for the bumps in the first place..

Well, I guess keep doing the same thing over and over again, keep swatting the bees..

Really you don't think so?

You think the whole merit system is a flop then?
You realize that: a) Account sales. b) Account farming, are still not bannable offenses, right? Whatever the reduction of higher ranking spam is, it has been supplemented by lower member spam because of the flawed policies of this place.

Is it still very profitable to sig spam with less than 10 merits?

I don't think it's going to be all that easy to just find 10 merits and farmers are going to hit a brick wall coming up against that..

Being so focused on the spammers themselves is sort of like treating the symptoms of the disease and not the root cause.
It's all about the sig spam overflowing to the rest of the forum from the alt coins section..

The root cause is all the fly by night icos and shitcoins of all sorts ATTRACTING the spammers to make a few satoshis.. They are the driving force..

I mean, you go through the altcoin section and wonder "are any of these legit?" NOT "I wonder if any of these are scams.."

You get like 5 new accounts pop onto the forum, have this master scheme and "team" that is going to "revolutionize" XXX industry, take fools money and encourage spam..

They hire a ranked account to post their ANN threads for them for gods sake, because of their noob posting limits they aren't even allowed to make the thread, and everyone just lets all these noob accounts run their master scheme ruining crypto for everyone and just wait until they scam..
I think it's shady AF to hire someone to post your ANN thread.. Crypto expert developer teams that are going to change the world don't have one decent btct acct among the entire team?

Remember when like, crypto coins used to me mined from their genesis blocks and they would trickle onto the exchange as the coins were mined out..
Oh man but darkcoin had an insta mine where so many coins were mined in the first xxx days "SCAM"!!
And now its just "We made these 11billion tokens out of thin air and will give you some to spam everywhere and you should want them because they are going to eradicate poverty and bring world peace and make you rich so spam spam and get some"

They all just use some ETH token so they don't even have to make a crypto themselves anymore..

I just scrolled through btc discussion looking at sigs in a big thread and it was ico ico ico ico casino ico ico ico ico ico yobit ico ico ico
It's bad when you run across a casino and think "atleast they aren't all 100% scams, see here this casino is only 50% scam and yobit is only for scamcoins and it isn't itself a scam, yet.."

So you can be worried about the spammers all you want but their are some shady mofos out there PAYING the spammers to spam with their created out of thin air scheme scam tokens, making all of crypto look like shit.. Not to mention sucking the value out of my precious BTCs..

You think the spam is bad here look at what those bounties are doing to FB and twatter lmfao take that you big data bastards..

I think the merit system will take another 3-6 months to really take effect, when they realize how unprofitable they are without merits, I hope..

Keep swatting the bees but some day ya might have to go after the hive...
2428  Other / Meta / Re: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again on: May 19, 2018, 04:24:47 AM
Insanity is introducing nailing a piece of wood into a pipe in order to fix a leak (merit system - to the - spam problem).

There is no visible slowdown of total spam, and the beggars are getting creative with new methods of spamming (one of which was discovered by us today  - "spam and quick delete bumping").

Really you don't think so?

You think the whole merit system is a flop then?
2429  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked [signed message] on: May 19, 2018, 03:35:48 AM
You still could not recover your old account even though you had very clear evidence?

This is a big concern.

I think it has been taking a long time lately, it has to be done manually.. I don't think I noticed an "I got my account back" post in a while..

I think if you get your account hacked the best first way to try to get it back would be to just PM it.. Maybe you can reason with whoever has it first before going through all of these formalities you see here and praying for it back..

Just tell him.. "Look guy, I can sign this old address xxxxx so you are forked. It's going to be of no use to you red tagged so I would really appreciate it if you would just give it back to me"..

I think they are more after long dormant accounts that they can actually use/sell without them being noticed.. I don't think they are trying to snatch currently active accounts because they won't last long after they are noticed.. The account really won't be any good to them so they might just give it back..

i wasn't around for this but i know some of you were. i was studying the charts earlier and noticed since bitcoin was invented it has had 2 parabolic bull markets. 2013 and 2017
don't give up too soon, bitcoin had at least 3 more bubbles like these two in the past. the 2013 one is the most obvious one that you know without even looking at the charts.

That's what's up..

just because some certain trend happened before it doesn't mean it can and will happen again.

"Past performance is not an indicator of future results"

Yeah, that's what I tell people I talk to about crypto so it's not my fault if they lose all of their money..

Not in all cases right, like AUR.. Not gonna happen again..

But BTC.. The freaking chart is like a heartbeat under ever increasing magnification.. I definitely believe it will happen again..

How long? Don't know..
His heartbeat is at somewhat irregular intervals..
2432  Economy / Reputation / Re: User Vod abusing default trust list position on: May 16, 2018, 03:59:37 PM
I see you were the "auctioneer" but it isn't clear to me whose coin it was..

If an auctioneer is selling something for someone else I wouldn't see a problem with him bidding on it with intentions to buy it himself..

The only auctions where I see people bidding on their own stuff would be charity auctions, but it's not really your stuff anymore since you already donated it.
Or if it's part of a shared estate that you want to buy a specific part of to keep for yourself..

In real estate tax auctions they have language that makes it clear that you cannot buy back your own property or bid on behalf of whoever lost the property..

In any case I don't see OP was lying or being very shady. Maybe he is a piss poor auctioneer and bidders should be aware of what they are getting into, but a neutral should suffice for that purpose I think..
Their has been plenty of exposure of the fact, awareness, so people know, and a neutral should do to provide reference..

I don't think this warrants account destroying red trust from DT (forever), but then again I don't know about these PMs and often people get their red trust rightfully solidified by the way they act when confronted about issues like this, they do stupid stuff that deserves red trust regardless of the original issue..

Maybe Vod could agree to change the red trust to a neutral in 1/3/6 months or something providing their are no other outstanding issues..
I think that should accomplish the job of letting him know that he did something controversial and punish him enough to make him plenty aware of his mistake without fully destroying him FOREVER..

I somewhat see the point of leaving Vod retaliatory red trust for "calling me a scammer" but really the only way to resolve this is to reason with vod so I hope OP you don't/haven't got into too much of a personal spat as to dig the hole even deeper, which happens in borderline cases and gets people wrecked..
2433  Other / Archival / Re: Hire me to defend your case for 0.01BTC! on: May 16, 2018, 05:31:27 AM
I think most who receive an illegitimate - get it removed pretty easily on their own just by bringing their cases to the public..
The ones that have a harder time are the ones that have language problems and/or have no concept of proofs. Still members seem to drag the relevant intel out of them..

You may find some cases where you could establish reasonable doubt but reasonable doubt doesn't really mean someone should remove their rating.. It might work for DT though because they can't really get away with destroying people based on their feelings alone..

I think it will be hard for you to find cases because those that deserve removal are pretty rare.. Evidence by you not having found a case yet..

You could cruise the scam accusations and reputation boards or something looking for clients like an ambulance chaser, offer your services..

Keep it interesting  Wink

Updated. Please tell me what other informations you would like to see.

I like it so far..

Add a section on how the trust system and DT work, and how to modify your trust settings..
2435  Other / Meta / Re: 100 Days of Merit on: May 13, 2018, 11:11:29 PM

What activity number are you using for heros to rank up?
775 or 1030 or somewhere in between?

You can't be using 1030 because you couldn't have gotten from 775 to 1030 since the merit system was implimented..

IIRC if you had 775 You got the 1k merits to be a legendary even if you didn't hit the legend lotto yet right?
I think I missed that by as close as possible..

I find it hard to believe that I am one of only 2 heros that just need merit to rank up.. That is quite an accomplishment..

I think their may be something in the legendary lottery thing that is messing with your charts? Or messing with my understanding of them..
2436  Other / Meta / Re: Unique way to cheat the forum- Paid bumping on: May 09, 2018, 02:58:21 AM
That should merit a ban for the AAN OP no? Other company accounts too?
How do you know anyone related to the project is behind this?

You are right, this would make a great setup to damage your competition..

Sure would put a dent in their eBIT game.. Anywhere to get short on it?

Merits are kindof an altcoin, you are offering a bounty in exchange for good posts..

Stick it here Smiley

2439  Other / Meta / Re: Common shared account for bounty management allowed? on: May 07, 2018, 03:36:18 AM
our team members have individual accounts here on froum which we do not share with anyone.

Wonder why?

Some big startup business ran by nothing but throwaway accounts? Why would people trust that?

I mean, if you believe in what you are doing and are out to do solid business (AKA not scam) why wouldn't you put the reputation of your "team" behind your business?

It's not like you need to protect your accounts from negative trust because you will be doing the right thing correct?

And yeah, in my opinion you can have alt accounts and have shared accounts for spreadsheets or for your business or whatever, no problem especially if you are transparent about it..

Alt accounts only should get hit if they are scammers, trying to scam, are spamming/shitposting, or are bought accounts.. Just be good and you're straight for the most part..
