2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex = Scam exchange beware. on: March 19, 2017, 04:50:44 PM
Every exchange is scam by oneway or another , they allow you to deposit unlimited Bitcoin (for non-verified account with ID)
and when its come to withdrawal they limited it to 2btc per day and giving lame excuse of KYC rules.
KYC policy should be applied on both deposit and withdrawal.
Yeah and if you look at the scam sections, you'll see a lot of accusations on this exchanges, each one of them has one and they are not small amount but huge one, that's why it's not a good idea to put huge amount of bitcoin in any exchange,

TUXexchange, being legally incorporated in Canada, does not require identification of any kind nor does it limit your deposits or withdrawals in any way..
Because of Canadian law, dealing with cryptocurrency only and no fiat, they do not deal with "money", so no ID no limits, no exceptions, 100% legal..
They also let you register and trade from TOR to stay completely anonymous if you want to..
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC.value = if(you_can_get_blocksize_together = 10K, dead); on: March 18, 2017, 08:48:20 PM
The question in my mind is, how big of a dump is it going to take for something to be done about scailability?

Will it be worth the risk when BTC is $750? $300? $3?

Getting close..

It's fucking bitcoin Armageddon out there Sad
2204  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Ledger Nano S And Bitcoin Hard Fork.. on: March 18, 2017, 07:57:29 PM
So, if I stick all my BTC onto a Ledger Nano S and then a hardfork occurs I want to make sure I know what to do..

From what I can find so far as of now the only option is to, restore my wallet from the Nano to a Bitcoin software wallet using the seed phrase, and then export my private keys, and then import those keys to a wallet that supports the fork coins, so I would have 2 different wallets for different coins with the same keys..

Or, wait for the Ledger team to come up with coin split software update for the hardware wallet itself..

Am I understanding this correctly?
Anything else I should know?
Tell me all about it please, I want to be informed..
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you explain the Hard Fork on BTC? on: March 18, 2017, 05:46:51 PM
ok if i have btc on xchanges than what happen to my coins after hardfork?

We can't speak for all exchanges in one statement, ask your particular exchange..
A crappy exchange may just keep your BU coins for themselves and a good exchange will set up a new currency BTU and give you both your BTC and BTU..

I can't know what every exchange and online web wallet will do with your coins, ask them specifically..
2206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 17, 2017, 06:24:41 PM
I think no..

If it does fork and their is little hash on a fork, the difficulty will still stay sky high, so blocks will just be extremely slow..
Maybe you can cpu mine a fork after difficulty retargets, but if hash is low enough for you to mine with a cpu, then it pretty much won't be worth anything..
If I understand correctly, which is 50/50 chance..
2207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is US election really get hacked? on: March 16, 2017, 01:33:17 PM
The real story..

Nobody accused anyone of "hacking the election"... The election did not get hacked..

Hillary/the DNC/Democrats got hackes along with podesta and a lot of nasty shit about the democrats was found out because of these hacks..

So the sore loser left claim that the hacks on the democrats INFLUENCED the election, not that the election/votes were hacked..

The hackers just released relevant information to the people that proved hillary is as shitty as we thought..

Thank you hackers..

If the election was "hacked" it was by illegal mexicans voting FOR hillary, non-computer related hack..
2208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: C-CEX on: March 16, 2017, 11:28:04 AM
I got the same email and this is not the first time this has happened to me..

I think it has to do with the bitcointalk hack, they get the email and password of your bitcointalk account and try it on exchanges and stuff trying to steal your coins..
2209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC.value = if(you_can_get_blocksize_together = 10K, dead); on: March 16, 2017, 08:25:42 AM
The needed TX fee is 10k sat unless you want to be greedy with time and cut in line it seems to me, rising TX fees is just a race to cut to the front of the line, It doesn't matter if fees are 1 whole BTC per TX it's still not going to fit more TXs into the same block no matter how much you pay, I've never had a single TX drop out of the mempool and never confirm..
No need to be condescending Mr. Banks, I don't exactly have a private sever and fiber optic but my $50 a month internet is plenty along with my $200 used computer..
We can run the network for the poor people in Africa, we don't need their added decentralization, not like we have it anyway..

What I struggle with is everyone seeming to give up..

I'm not a coder but I have this crazy idea..

BTC keys are hex 256 compressed to fit a larger number into less bytes correct? And BTC is all about the security of big numbers correct?

Why couldn't you just make up a bunch more characters and go hex 2,056 or something and compress those big numbers even further to fit more into the same data package?

Prospective continued growth is priced in, if Bitcoin can't grow anymore then it will be priced out soon, and I know that price is mostly what most of you care about..

Bitcoin isn't for the rich man store of value settlement layer, it is supposed to be the peoples liberty currency, for the common man that is sick of the fiat scam..

If the common man cannot use Bitcoin then you guys can have fun with your rich man store of value BS, me and many others that are into BTC for the ideals of libertarianism are going to be out..

Whatever happened to the "solution for the unbanked masses" Talk? Or permissionless transactions for the people who are down right sick of dealing with institutions?

We want freedom, we can't have it here? Well that's really really sad because I believed that this was something that could change the world for the better of humanity and now, "Oh no, this is too good for everybody to use, my precious HDD space and bandwidth, you can't all have it, joke's on you.."

So multi million dollar miners are built and just shove the small guy right out of being able to earn any BTC, but I guess they can't afford a frickin $50 hard drive and half ass internet now so it can't even really be used by people anymore..

I call BS, who is out there trying to run nodes on dialup and 10 year old computers? Nobody.. The network can definitely handle 2X or even 5X blocksizes and by time the chain gets massive either storage tech will be improved or pruning tech will become reality..

We need bigger blocks right now, now, immediately..
Add segwit to it now or later or even bigger blocks I don't care, but you better quit your arguing and do something about this right now or this revolution that showed such promise is DEAD, and soon..

Soft fork, hard fork, over easy medium rare fork, fork 3 times, DO IT!!

Fork 2 megs NOW to buy time before it's DEAD and then you can get back to your quibbling until the userbase doubles again..

This thing is having a stroke but you won't fix it because you're arguing about if it's the right time to give it a nose job at the same time or not..

Enough with the satoshi, he is gone, he did not envision much of what has happened up to now therefore rendering satoshi talk mute..
The founding fathers wanted uninfringable rights to bear arms but they didn't see nukes coming..
2211  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: March 14, 2017, 11:46:43 PM
I think the best investment I ever made was buying a bunch of RarePEPEs when I first heard of them..

I think I only put maybe .02 BTC into them and got over .8 BTC back out and still have a bunch I'm holding..

Could really use some market makers..

2213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever thought to yourself you need to know EVERYTHING on: March 14, 2017, 08:24:16 PM
It's not possible to know everything, never going to happen..

One of the biggest problems with schools these days is they spend all their time teaching you mostly useless things but not how to learn things..

Knowing things is much less useful than knowing how to find out everything..

The key to being intelligent is not to know everything, it is to be able to find out anything..

Become good at research and how to find out answers to anything you may need to know and you will be in good shape..

Learn how to learn..
2214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 21million BTC really enough for the wole world? on: March 14, 2017, 05:18:13 PM
1 Satoshi can values more than 1 currently cent. Probably the difficult would be to buy cheap things with BTCs, as 1 satoshi could value more than the price of cheap things like one fuit, one candy...

If that happens you sure won't see me complaining Smiley

We would all be ridiculous rich..
2215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 13, 2017, 08:00:58 PM
WTF happens with kraken? One thing is stop losses that takes ages to execute.... but now I have a market order "hanging" for minutes without execution... this is a joke!
Been happening for many months, and is even confirmed by them.
Their engine is GOX-like, and their support tickets takes weeks to reply sometimes.
Trust me, that market order wont execute, and the stop order can take 36 hours to execute. I kid you not.

That's absolutely ridiculous, those afflicted should join up and put forward a scam accusation on them, get a bunch of attention and either force them out or force them to fix it..

The worst things I experience in crypto are exchanges failing to execute my orders, WDs, and deposits..
Nothing can screw up a good arb like a flaky exchange..
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to sell my XMR for BTC on: March 13, 2017, 07:04:54 PM
I'll do .05 BTC right now with the risk of a price move straight up, you go first.. I'll send as soon as it confirms..

Or I will exchange it for -5% of whatever the actual #s come out to after I dump it.. With or without the added cost and complexity of escrow..

If you believe there's a chance of price crashing then there's no point in buying at all.
I haven't made a huge profit, and with that offer I'd rather keep my xmr. Also "I'll send as soon as it confirms" sounds sketchy as hell, you can't reverse a transaction after you send it so I don't see why you would need to wait for confirmations. You can't predict how long transactions can take to get confirmed, it can take hours.
I wouldn't go first with such a low rate and a high risk of getting scammed, remember xmr is an untraceable coin.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass.

The point of buying alts is to make more BTC either by trading or arbing, I would do this only to make a few satoshis.. Their is always a HUGE chance of any one of them crashing at any second..

Good luck with your exchange..

Edit: after some research, I'm suspicious you got your little trust there from a hacked account for many reasons and your posts are full of outright refusing to use escrow..

you can't reverse a transaction after you send it

Uh, yes you can..

I got like 3.80368998 XMR and I'm looking for BTC.
I'd use Shapeshift.io but somehow that "option" is unavailable.

I can do this for you..
Just a moment and I'll give you a price quote..
2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DASH] Dash Price and Trade Discussion Thread on: March 13, 2017, 06:28:33 PM
Dash WD fees have just been reduced by 80% on TUXexchange to adjust for the recent price surge..
It would be nice to get some market makers in there if you would be so kind, maker fees are 0%..

Congratulations to all you DASH holders!! I have recently converted one of my lending accounts from BTC to DASH myself..

I have been trading DASH since day1 on Cryptsy and it truly is a crypto success story that other coiners should be looking up to and learning from rather than trying to degrade for their own benefit..

Bump for an exchange that deserves some love..
