2461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero's 24h fake volume peaked to ridiculous 84$ billion in september 11th on: October 02, 2020, 02:05:49 PM
Can someone explain what an exchange is trying to achieve with wash trading ridicilous sums like this?
You took those screenshots from Coinmarketcap correct?

Check the top exchange contributing to Monero's 24-hour volume:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/markets/

^ I assume it's also CITEX that reported the most volume last Sep. 11, 2020. Although CMC rated CITEX with "Low Confidence" meaning they don't believe the reported volume from that exchange is that accurate. It still misleads a lot of people.

It's one reason why Coingecko is more reputable than CMC as a data aggregator.

~ What tactic they are playing out? It's not like anyone is believing that's real.
By reporting the highest volume, they want to lure more XMR traders there and profit from trading/withdrawal fees.

Quick google search resulted to
Top 5 Bitcoin Casinos In The UK

1. William Hill – play with a name you recognise from the high street for maximum peace of mind.

2. Mansion Casino – one of the biggest online casino operations in the UK.

3. 22 Bet – partake in some Bitcoin-funded sportsbetting if you fancy a break from the casino.

4. Casino Joy – huge selection of games backed by a very solid setup.

5. NetBet.com – enjoy all forms of online gambling with Bitcoin here. One of the first Bitcoin casinos UK players could enjoy.
But yeah I think most platforms here are registered in Curacao.

When it comes to KYC, even those that are not registered in UK would require it if they need to in compliance with AML policy. They probably just do it less often than those UK based casinos.

~ I feel like Man City always gets easy groups, wtf? the one this year is europa league tier  Grin <....> And Cristiano vs Messi again!
And here I thought Manchester City had the toughest group. Honestly, that was my first impression when I saw the draw. The other teams are regulars in CL too.

Group G is also tricky. Dynamo can pull some upsets there.

It looks like majority will be writing off Manchester United early  Grin
2464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official resellers of hardware wallets. on: October 01, 2020, 04:05:57 PM
Have you checked if there's a shop in your country from the reseller's list? https://trezor.io/resellers/

If yes, maybe you can ask on the computer hardware board. They're not "official resellers" but maybe you can find reputable sellers there. You can use escrow too.

I'm wondering if Uniswap will still deliver on what they promised, namely gas-free transactions, how will this affect the entire ecosystem at all, and is it even possible to do so now? : - \
Well, I believe they're collaborating with other projects to make layer 2 solution work - Optimistic Ethereum. If they are successful in rolling out the upgrades, we can expect casual traders to start using the exchange. Right now, I feel like most of Uniswap's users are big time traders who can afford $50 fees.

And yes, more scam projects will come out as a consequence of that.
2466  Other / Archival / Re: [Analysis] DeFi as the cause of high gas prices on: October 01, 2020, 02:55:53 PM
^ Auction mechanism is already there and the system applies whether there are less transactions or not. The OP's point is letting you know which group is clogging the ethereum network causing fees to shoot up in recent months.

Quote
4. - Ponzi Schemes - Another of the big gas consumers, take a look at the picture from TOP-20 on 2 and 19 contracts. Projects like (Forsage.io and Lionsshare.io). In the first 2 weeks of August, Forsage.io has paid commissions over 5000 ETH. Despite the large amounts, the Ponzi still remains dangerous to participate.
Not only did they scam, they also help make other network users pay more gas Roll Eyes

Meanwhile, eth miners are up 6x compared to btc miners.  Shocked
#Ethereum miners made a total of $166 million from transaction fees in September – a new ATH.

That's an increase of 47% compared to the previous record high in August.

In comparison: #Bitcoin miners made $26M from fees – a difference of more than 6x!

^ Thanks for the fix on auto refresh.

I was in the middle of a battle when I ran out of mana and then left the game. I was expecting it to be full again when I checked back in but mana and life is still the same.

Please clarify this "Restores 1 mana per minute when not in battle or 1 mana per battle turn".

Do I have to exit battle and go back to training for the "Restores 1 mana per minute when not in battle". If I go back to training, what will happen to my battle? I'm guessing it will restart again with the three robots.

For 1 mana per battle turn, Do I need to win that first before mana regenerates? I'm currently fighting the second robot (defeated 1 already) with 2/4 life.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 01, 2020, 01:54:07 PM
The question should be "Do you believe NBA is still rigged?" because it already happened before with the case of former referee Tim Donaghy. After that huge scandal, I think NBA has tightened up making it difficult to influence the outcome of the game. Someone brought up the issue on Lakers not getting enough fouls during the West finals and it's just one of those days where calls could be 50-50. Sometimes I think NBA have their own rule book of what is a foul or travelling and what isn't.
2469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 01, 2020, 01:22:30 PM
Odds for game 2 are out on Bitsler. Still some good odds available for the Lakers even though they're the favorites me thinks.

Miami doesn't have much to offer now. Bam isn't going to be 100% fit for the entire series even if he comes back for game 2. Still, I want to see surprises from the Heat bench.

It sucks to see injuries happen but let's not take away anything from this man. He did really well in his first ever NBA Finals appearance. He could also win the finals MVP.

SkirmishBet update:

-UI improvements
-fixed bug when some players stuck in battle
-added possibility to try the game without register

I don't understand why players won't register to play the game. How will they be able to build their account?

Since I started playing, I noticed the countdown for each training gets stuck at 1 second. I had to refresh for a new training session every time. Is that something you set? I was wondering if the game could load automatically.

2473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For the record, the last time we had a presidential debate, the price of bitcoin on: September 30, 2020, 03:19:43 PM
Meh. Just some dude trying to connect everything. It's probably because the year of halving and bitcoin's 4-year cycle coincides with that of the Presidential debate and election.

Do you really think that politicians can influence the price of bitcoin? This is not true at all.
It's hard to say really without solid proof. We don't know how they work behind doors but they can directly/indirectly affect the price whenever they spread FUD (ban).

The OP has been updated - BSP List as of Sept. 30

Extended for another month ang waiver para sa Gcash at Paymaya. Halos lahat ng bangko hanggang Dec. 31 na din.

~
How about sa coins.ph kung mag cash out ka to GCash, may bayad na ba yun guys? Ngayon kasi free pa lang.
Wala naman sa listahan ang coinsph sa e-wallets na mag-charge ng fees. Pagdating naman sa GCash, considered as online cash in yan kung mula sa coinsph ang pondo kaya wala pa din charge. OTC cash in over 8K lang ang may charge.

No disrespect to Holm vs. Aldana card but I just can't wait for that event to finish and move on to the much anticipated Khabib vs. Gaethje on UFC 254.

UFC 254: Khabib vs Gaethje – Unbreakable
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDlECe9h7Ks

^ Listen to how many pundits are saying "Gaethje is the most dangerous guy" or "He's the toughest challenge" but how many times they've said that in Khabib's previous opponents?  Grin

~
The joke is that Costa is still clueless, he challenged Adesanya for a rematch because he humped him while he was sleeping in the cage  Cheesy.
Yeah I've seen that. He wants a rematch because he felt so embarrassed. He should be more embarrassed with the way he performed in that fight. He doesn't deserve an immediate title match.
2477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: September 30, 2020, 01:36:09 PM
That was EMBARASSING!

Nothing debated, nothing argued, nothing achieved. Was that really the Presidential debate of the "greatest" country in the world???
Embarassing as it is, political debates are always nasty and it's not just in the United States.

I don't really know what to make of the first debate, it was comical to say the least. Opinions I read in social media are divided and I guess that depends on demographics too.

As is stands now, I might put my money on Trump. I think people still hates mainstream media and "political experts". Whoever they "favor", the people votes the other.

Thanks to you and Primebit. All the best!

It seems like already second person says about the issue. I will test it hard today
Appreciate it if it could be fixed.

I'm understanding how the game works little by little. I didn't notice the "mana" until I ran out, I thought it was another bug when it wasn't loading properly. The mana restoration time will also test your patience, you buy it or you wait  Grin Good thing there's also chat rains to help buy some mana.
