Real-time incident of an user who trained himself to be a trader. Got addicted and lost everything. Steven is the person who kept adding more cryptocurrency to his portfolio. In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins. Kazakhstan was never ranked number 1, and with current events there I think it will be close to impossible to rank 1 even if we break the US by states.
I was under the impression that China was proxying its Bitcoin mining to Kasachstan as its nearest neighbor. Maybe I was wrong in thinking that? Or perhaps I was thinking of something else. I agree with the current events being extremely detrimental to the mining potential in Kasachstan. Not only did they suffer power outages and political conflict with a coup attempt shortly before the start of Russia's war in Ukraine. I do still have hopes for the potential in Kasachstan. |

Maybe he means the royal "we"? Obviously he is royalty to us at this point. But jokes aside, I do not see why there shouldn't have been an entire team working on Bitcoin. As much as we like to think that Satoshi Nakamoto was one individual it could have been an entire team of n amount of people. New technology with such sophistication rarely is created by a single mind. Or maybe he means us as the community. As Bitcoin belongs to everyone? That would be a warm idea, would it not? |

I really think this damage the trust in the sports bets , or anything related to the sport gambling, i know a lot can say its a kind of protest but still really unclear.
Only in the lower leagues, that's why most sportsbooks usually set lower limits and offer few markets for less popular leagues. Looking from the nature of the stadium, one can easily tell that that is a local football league, because i believe there is absolutely no way and a player will get to an international level and play that way, its absolutely not possible.
Yup, it's unlikely for someone to throw games in the bigger leagues since there's no point in simply destroying your own career in exchange for some money when you've already made it at the top and could make more by improving your own skills. I don't think that its only in the lower leagues, despite sportsbook lower limit settings and fewer markets for less popular leagues. I think that there are other systems in play which are different than in the lower leagues because it would not work for the bigger ones. And if thats true then the systems would be more incognito, more anonymous more shrouded and completely made oblivious because there are many more eyes watching. That might just be my suspicious nature talking but I have a feeling in my gut and my gut has yet to disappoint me on such shady matters. The corruption is definitely there. If you look hard enough to find it. |

Why ban it? Anything that seems risky and dangerous needs to banned? Lets ban knives and forks and even drinking anything besides water. In fact, lets ban everything.
Gambling is fun. To me, its just an activity to have fun. Its fun because its risky. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose but you need to always understand that no matter what happens, its not a career and its not a lifestyle. Of course there are people who take it too far and become addicted and irresponsible but just because a few such people exist does not mean everyone should have to sacrifice their own freedom just to protect those few.
Unfortunately, the government is like that, If they saw something that they perceived as harmful, they would ban it and make it illegal eventually. Which just makes the situation even worse because now, the people are going to find alternative ways on how to continue doing that illegally. And this makes it even more unsafe for those people because they are now transacting and playing secretly so they won't be punished by the law. Gambling isn't a bad thing like how they usually paint it to be. It is a kind of recreation activity wherein people get to relax and enjoy at the same time have the opportunity to earn while they are playing. It's just that some people do not know how to set boundaries and limitations. Hence, they fall into addiction. In gambling, it's a matter of self-discipline and restraint. If you don't possess that then you should think twice before entering gambling. The only things they seem to ever see as harmful are things that are harmful to their own profits. Thats all they really care about. Their own money. And anyone who does not tread carefully is punished by the government. This is exactly where Bitcoin comes into play. It makes it impossible for the government to keep abusing us financially as it has been doing all these years. I completely agree that one should only gamble when one is able to control themselves and when they possess a certain amount of self restraint. This is something I always tell people, especially on this board where a lot of gamblers lose control. |

Most countries are giving excuses and reason for banning Bitcoin is because it can easily be used to fund crimes.
But I think they are afraid of losing control of their citizens' financial activities because they believe being the ones regulating financial activities makes them powerful.

The only thing they are doing is cutting Bitcoin off from their own fiat. What does this do, really? People can still use Bitcoin. They can buy and sell things with it or keep it in their wallets. They can do anything they want and the governments are 100% powerless against it. So what is happening? The governments are panicking. They are trying to do something which has been tried by the most restrictive countries (like China) and it will fail and continue to fail. They absolutely cannot stop the people from owning and transacting with Bitcoin. The more they try, the more obvious this fact becomes. And the faster it will drive the adoption of Bitcoin. Let the bankers sweat and the regulators cry. Bitcoin won't die. |
