1801  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 21, 2022, 08:22:19 AM
~ It might sound strange to some people, especially those thinking gambling is undoubtedly bad and even evil, but I do believe that a kind of a synergy between gamblers and gambling platforms is possible. For many people the money spent on gambling is much less than what they would spend on getting the same pleasure or the same amount of relaxation.
Well, each person is free to spend their money as they see fit, for me, in terms of having money and spending it in a casino, it is not bad as long as you have full control of the losses and the money you are willing to spend, because it is a way for fun, it is not bad when it is done responsibly, it is like people who like to spend money on gunpowder, according to some cultures they say that burning gunpowder brings good luck, for others they consider it as burning money, since they prefer to buy it in food or necessary things, or perhaps give it to the people who need it most, however for fun it will always be an expense, if you go on vacation to a place you will spend money, if you go to a casino then you will spend money, only with the caveat that you can recover or you can earn more.

Yes, I think one should treat their visit to a casino, land-based or online, as spending some money on their relaxation. You should never count on earning more. It can happen, sure, but you shouldn't count on it.

I completely agree with you on that point. If a person goes into a gambling casino with the wrong mindset, that negative way of thinking ends up in them not having fun and walking out completely frustrated because they did not fulfill their expectations of winning. And they have a ruined day or maybe even week for absolutely no good reason.

Gambling is and always should be treated as a fun experience just for the sake of recreation and relaxation. If you go inside the casino expecting not to win anything then you are not angry and disappointed when that happens.

More people should be psychologically preparing themselves before gambling.
1802  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: December 20, 2022, 12:44:33 PM

Yes this is 100% real money. I think fraudsters put bad reviews, money laundering, and other crypto casino’s that want to lower the reputation for cloudbet.

I do not thing that they are fraudsters but usually when everything is Ok with casino people just play casino and do not write any reviews at all but when there are problems people begin to write about them on all the forums and monitors and sometimes they write about one problem several times and people thing that there is not one problem but many problems.

When casino is popular and have a lot of users always there are people who not happy by the work of casino. It is impossible always to win in casino also it is impossible that all people win in the casino. Always it will appear people who not glad by the work of the casino.
I didn't see current problem but this is true about always having problems when big.

In other words it is better to take any accusations or criticisms of large online gambling casinos with a pinch of salt due to the fact that it is impossible to please everyone and that many disgruntled gamblers like to unfairly take out their frustrations at losing large amounts of money on the casinos which they lost the money to. Its understandable human nature, but it can still damage the reputation of casinos, even though they did absolutely nothing wrong and were not at fault. The best thing to do is to view the evidence and amounts of complaints before making your decision on whether the casino is fair or not.

1803  Economy / Speculation / Re: December Has always Proved to Be a Good Month For Cryptocurrency industry on: December 20, 2022, 10:40:37 AM
I know I am not pro or old here but I know little bit. I was saying that Bitcoin is just had always proven good start in December month and in first Quarter of New year and If history repeats than this will also be like God start of crypto Rally and I hope in this timeframe btc might go Upto 36k dollars before May crash.
We know that we cannot speculate Bitcoin price But I can say that as history repeats we can get chance and also a better judgement and it can be very risky.
That's Why Do your own research before putting money.

Unless one can find very good evidence of patterns having a connection to something which creates those patterns, it is not a good idea to assume those patterns will continue in the future. In other words, just because December seemed to always have been a good month for Bitcoin, does not mean that it is not just a simple coincidence which might or might not repeat in the future. Until we have further proof there is a cause for this, I would not be betting my money so soon.

Although investing in Bitcoin is, from my own subjective experience, a good idea at any point in time.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 20, 2022, 10:05:39 AM
France lost a chance to be a first team can protect their trophy after Brazil many years ago. Mbappe will return to PSG with bad mood and relationship with Messi and Neymar. Neymar congratulated Messi but did not show anything for Mbappe.

Will PSG be able to win Champions League with internal conflict of their biggest attacking players?
Don't forget Mbappe is the most important player in PSG and he has a control to choose his teammates, managers etc, this mean Mbappe can request to put Messi on bench until he's satisfied with his revenge. Technically PSG has the best strikers among other clubs since they have Messi and Mbappe who become man of the match from the final world cup, while Neymar is also important for Brazil.

I think PSG is currently have an awkward situation or internal conflict between Mbappe and Messi, it just depends on Mbappe ego, he's young and a selfish person, so he can't control his own emotion.
I think Mbappe doesn't really have a problem with Messi and people are just making up drama to sell more papers that's it, and get more views. Look at how they play together, of course Mbappe would be unhappy about the fact that he lost to Messi, that is only human but he is grown enough to know that this is football and Messi has to work hard to beat Mbappe, that's the goal of playing, anyone in the entire world that plays against Mbappe will play to beat him, that's the nature of the game.

All in all he accepted a huge deal from PSG, biggest ever, and we are going to just have to accept that Messi is there for a while longer as well, and they will play together without an issue.
Mbappe's situation is the opposite of Messi's. He, too, wanted very much to win the Cup and did his best. He scored all three goals in that game, making him the second to get a hat-trick at the World Cup. He's only 24 and already doing very well, and unlike Messi, he's already had a world title. I'm sure he'll be just as great a footballer, if he isn't already. About their relationship with Messi, I don't think they will have any disagreements within the club, they are both normal people, not like Ronaldo or Ibrahimovich.

Mbappe may not have brought home the victory during the latest world cup but that has had no impact on him as far as his skills as a professional footballer goes. In contradiction, the very fact that he showed the world his skills match Messi's toe to toe, impressed a lot of people, me included.

This definitely was Mbappes winning the war but losing the battle. And I have never heard of Mbappe having troubles with Messi, so I would agree with the previous posters that that was all a fabrication just to sell the news and therefore get more views. People will be trying to squeeze all they can out of his current popularity, even if it means spreading bad/fake news.
1805  Economy / Economics / Re: A breakthrough in thermonuclear fusion technology! End of the era of hydrocarbon on: December 19, 2022, 04:32:46 PM
Scientists in the US have moved closer to achieving completely clean energy by achieving the first net energy gain in an inertial confinement fusion reaction. The experiment was carried out using a small granule of hydrogen plasma and the world's largest laser, writes the Financial Times, citing three interlocutors who got acquainted with the preliminary results of the work of scientists.

At the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, they managed to reproduce the process of nuclear fusion (the same process that occurs on the Sun) and get about 2.5 megajoules of energy, which is 120% higher than the energy used in lasers - 2.1 megajoules. Two FT sources noted that more energy was received than planned, causing damage to diagnostic equipment and making it difficult to analyze the results, a breakthrough already widely discussed by scientists.

https://www.ft.com/content/4b6f0fab-66ef-4e33-adec-cfc345589dc7

Your opinion ? Forecasts? Are we witnessing an unexpected end to the era of hydrocarbon fuels? Should all oil / coal / gas producing countries prepare for a "new poor life"?

I think the only currently feasible fusion fuel we can get in large quantities exists on the moon in the form of Helium-3. If we can somehow transport enough of that back to earth, fusion energy will be halfway ready. The other half is designing a fusion reactor which can function in perpetuity. Right now the inner workings of the reactor either melt away or give off by-products (caused by the heat) which interrupts the fusion process.

As far as fuel goes, not enough fuel exists naturally. So unless we find a way to fuse heavier elements, our only option is to mine the moon.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Bitcoin Shop in Port Harcourt (Nigeria) on: December 19, 2022, 12:02:27 PM
Happy birthday to you! May your Bitcoin bags be ever full and worth more everyday!

As to the physical Bitcoin shop in Nigeria, I am really loving it! We seem to be seeing a lot of shops pop up, in wealthy places but also in poorer places. With shops like this, anybody can invest in Bitcoin without having to worry about going through endless regulatory procedures (like for buying company shares).

But I do hope that nobody will be taken advantage of by being sold BTC at a too high rate... Which would be easy to do if the people buying the Bitcoin do not have regular access to the internet.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 19, 2022, 11:05:35 AM
Great to see Messi blowing up like this Grin I myself won a pretty penny from the France vs Argentina match but those last minutes did make me a bit nervous. Just when Argentina seemed to be heading towards an easy win, France really powered up by 200% and almost brought home the win. And here I was, totally underestimating them. I really did not think France had what it takes to go toe to toe with Argentina like that in the last few minutes. Mbappe has gained my respect this World Cup.
1808  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: December 19, 2022, 08:21:54 AM
The weekend ahead.

Morocco is the first African team in history to play in a World Cup semi-final and I must admit I was a bit upset (but not surprised) by their loss. I still can't believe that they managed to beat Spain and the Portuguese! I hope my boss won't scold me for my subjectivity, but on Sunday I'll be rooting for Argentina!  Cheesy

Well, it can be understandable seeing as they are trying out the world cup semi-final for the first time and that kind of skill gap in football is a completely different experience for them than anything that the Moroccan team have ever come up against up until now. Still, I thought that they did quite the good job and even I was rooting for them, despite never having thought that they could bring their team this far.

Portugal and Spain were definitely very tough opponents. It made me happy to see them destroyed by Morroco Smiley

I guess there are pleasant surprises in each world cup...
1809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: December 18, 2022, 04:45:21 PM
In my country up to 7 people I knew very well ( friends and family ) want me to help them invest money in crypto, after telling them the risk involved and how it will be better if they learn themselves they turn the idea down..

Now they want me to invest their own money on coins and they aren't ready to choose the coins they will like themselves.

After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?

I am not a lawyer nor do I offer investment advice but it seems to me that you are heading towards dangerous territory....

STAY AWAY from investing FOR others! If something goes wrong and somebody loses money, you will be made responsible and you will regret it. Investing in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is not hard, its the easiest thing in the world which even a trained monkey could do without help. Show them a youtube tutorial or something.

Worst case scenario, you might even be legally responsible and you could be seen as a financial advisor or be blamed with some other job description else which requires you to have a license from the government.

Do I choose the transaction fee if I want to withdraw bitcoin?
At this stage of our development, we fully pay transaction costs. Maybe this will change in the future, but for now, that's the way it is.  Wink

That is a very noble gesture. Consider me pleasantly surprised.  Grin Not many casinos would be willing to miss out on profit for the sake of the comfort of their players.

However that does raise the question of whether or not this kindness could be possibly abused by malcontents, hackers, unfriendly casinos looking to damage your casino or other exploitative abusers? What if someone deposits a large amount of money only to withdraw in minimum increments?Could the transaction fees in such a situation hurt the casino? I am by no means an expert but I will keep an eye out and report to you any potential weaknesses in the overall design.

I have decided to try out neodice.com, so I hope its a great online gambling casino which will last a long time without any bugs or exploits. Grin

1811  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Profitable and Growing Casino Website for Sale on: December 17, 2022, 08:18:33 PM
I would love to know which casino we are actually talking about here... Can we get a name?

From a slightly suspicious perspective, I think its best to take note of the mentioned casino's reputation. Is it squeaky clean or is it currently facing a PR disaster? How much are the up-keeping costs and could you provide a detailed list of said expenditures? What kind of team was behind the casino? Will they continue their work? Are there any investors involved who own part of the casino or is this a whole sale offer?

As some people have already mentioned, the ROI seems too low for such an asking price. Most of us do not want to wait a couple of decades to start making a profit. Is 1.5 Million the final price?

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Have you tried Fiverr? You can find freelance coding jobs there. They even have specialized areas for blockchain and related topics. I would also be careful about asking for donations. Last time I tried to help a fellow troubled WOer out, it became such a shitshow because of one annoying person who claimed I was "begging".
1813  Other / Meta / Re: Gambling Signature Trap Trolls on: December 17, 2022, 07:11:49 AM
I haven't noticed it. You'd better be more selective with where you post.

The problem could be easily solved if I only post ONCE in every gambling discussion topic. But that seems so very boring. How are you supposed to have a decent gambling discussion if you need to be nervous that 2-3 (or more) of your posts can be deleted just because you posted them in the same topic? And I only post in quality topics, not randomly.

Also, I am not a minimum poster. I make more than enough posts with extra on top. The problem is that I like to have discussions with multiple posts in the same topic. I cannot do this if I have to look over my shoulder every time because someone might delete the entire topic.

I am more upset about the fact that I took my time to type up good quality responses which got deleted. This has less to do with the signature pay. Rather I do not enjoy wasting time by typing up good posts which get deleted for seemingly malicious reasons.

It just does not seem right to me.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 17, 2022, 06:59:16 AM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.

I would love to see a version of Mortal Kombat be included as a gambling game. But I think the problem here would be quite obvious: It would be too easy to cheat that kind of skill-based game. This is the same reason why there are no chess games in gambling. You can just code a bot to win every time. Even the best chess players in the world cannot compete against computers.

Same goes for Mortal Kombat. You could easily cheat your opponent by using an algorithm which helps you win every time.

Perhaps if a casino introduced a live, audited version with players being live- video streamed and their computers checked to make sure there is no cheating involved, then sure.

But that sounds a bit unrealistic. Roll Eyes
1815  Other / Meta / Re: Gambling Signature Trap Trolls on: December 17, 2022, 06:33:08 AM
I remember there's a user did this before, the best way is just avoid to post if the @OP of that thread is a newbie or user who received negative feedback.

Honestly I wonder why you seems to be mad and make this problem bigger, if you're not regularly make many posts (more than 20 posts/week) then this campaign isn't suit for you and no one force you to join the campaign. Before joining a campaign, make sure you read the whole rules and you're okay with it, including such kind risk.

I wouldn't support your solution, it will make an another problem for moderators or other users who want to delete their thread because of accident etc.

Anyway this problem isn't only happen on gambling section, any users can did this in every sections.

We have more than enough posters in the gambling sub-forums, we do not need to make it a bigger shit-show than it already is by adding extra padded posts without good reason, only to be safe from trolls. Quality>Quantity. As far as I am aware, we are trying to minimize the gambling section spam, so recommending more filler posts to compensate for possible deleted posts is a bad idea.

Gambling Signature campaigners post 10-15 gambling posts/week usually. Deleted topics do become a problem if you have multiple posts in the same topic.

I fail to see how my solution would be a problem. It gives people a fair, timely warning. I have nothing against people deleting accidental topics but deleting established topics with many posts just before the end of the week is not ok.
1816  Other / Meta / Gambling Signature Trap Trolls on: December 17, 2022, 06:11:19 AM
I noticed the following troll behavior in the gambling forum:

1. You post a good quality post in a good quality topic, which does not get deleted by a mod.
2. OP deletes the entire thread minutes/hours just before the signature week is over.
3. You end up missing multiple posts from your paid signature.

Not only do you miss out on the weeks payment, this also makes you look bad in the eyes of the signature manager.

Normally, this would not be a problem for people who make more than enough posts. But it seems some topic starters are trolling on purpose by doing this.

Not the first time this has happened to me and it is starting to become infuriating. This is not fair, especially for people who are trying to earn some money with signatures. No reason, no warning. Topics deleted within minutes of end of the week. And I make sure to check my posts carefully 2-3 hours before the end of the week, so this is not a coincidence, it seems.

Solution: I am thinking Bitcointalk should introduce a timed countdown for deletion and a notification system which notifies the posters before their posts are deleted? Just so we are warned that our post will be getting deleted in a certain amount of time? - excluding justified moderator deletions of crap topics/posts, because there is already a notification system for that.

1817  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: December 17, 2022, 04:50:43 AM
Has anyone played at this casino www.dexterbet.com ? Share reviews about them who have dealt with them or maybe someone knows a good casino with identical odds to their sportbook. Thank

Since they have seemingly never interacted with the Bitcointalk forum, I doubt that I have heard of them before. But that does seem strange because they do offer crypto options so perhaps not introducing themselves here was just an oversight in their marketing department?

The online casino website design itself looks solid, but thats really all the information I can go on currently.

They do not seem to have many social media followers and that might point towards a rather inactive marketing team Or an unpopular online gambling platform. I would probably not feel safe enough to deposit funds there, until they have proven themselves in my eyes.
1818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried Arrested In The Bahamas, Set For 'Prompt' Extradition After US on: December 16, 2022, 08:20:03 PM

If convicted, what could SBF get for vaporizing 10B USD? Perhaps the rest of his life?

Well if you take the history of billionaire criminals into account then he will probably be a free man within weeks or months, even if he were to be convicted lawfully (as he should be). Justice usually fails when bribed.

Worst case scenario for him: he will spend a couple of years in a luxury prison which cannot even be called a real prison, or under "house arrest". He probably has some money hidden away in some obscure accounts/addresses that nobody knows even exist.

He deserves way way worse. He is a thief. A rich thief. All the evidence is there but nobody prosecutes the rich (as long as they are "rich enough")

I'm cautiously optimistic. Once the U.S. Dept. of Justice indicts then he has almost sealed his fate. The feds have something like a 95% conviction rate so even with the best lawyers SBF will retain, they can't make bad facts disappear. And it's an unquestionable fact that SBF was oversaw the vaporization of billions in user funds. How his lawyers will try and explain away SBF's role will be up to them, of course.

If he gets convicted he'll be sent to a federal prison, most likely low security as many other white collar criminals. Won't be a hardened max security prison, but it also won't be luxury.

Only a 95% conviction rate? What happened to that extra 5%? Is that the 5% of the rich that can buy themselves out (from under the table, of course). Sorry but I have absolutely no faith in the justice system anymore. The only reason it seemingly exists is to prosecute the poor. The rich basically have a kind of diplomatic immunity which everybody knows but nobody talks about.

Perhaps the justice system is not only for convicting the poor because they are poor but rather as a way to scare and control the public into doing what they want. Setting an example, basically.

1819  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for feedback on my new bitcoin site! on: December 16, 2022, 02:56:30 PM
Hi everyone! Here is a website I've been working on that shows crypto news, crypto graphs, and even a bitcoin explorer with live global transactions. The graphs are still elementary, but looking for feedback/  thoughts from people who like to follow crypto! Thanks

https://d2index.com/

Just from the first look it seems like an interesting site but might need some improvements.

A few things I recommend:

The interface itself is a bit lacking in the user experience design area. I would add some "sneak peeks" or summed-up information whenever you hover your cursor over the news, charts, etc. area on the right top side. Also, right top? Seems a bit out of place. Our eyes naturally go to the first thing on the left. Furthermore, whenever you click on an article it opens a new tab. That is a bit irritating. On the bottom you should put FAQ, contact info, social media links and so on.

When you click the articles, it sends you to different news sites? No original content? Not sure how that is going to be viewed by the original writers, especially if you do not have permission to use their articles.

I am not really a online gambling casino connoisseur but I do spend a lot of time researching which casinos are trustworthy and which are not worth visiting. So far I can condone the following casinos (but I have yet to try out some other casinos which look promising):

Fortunejack.com
Stake.com
Duelbits.com

I have personally tried out these ones and found them to have a good vibe overall. They have been around for quite a while and have had little to no suspicious events or accusations (with hard evidence).

If you want to try out other casinos, you should do your own research first before depositing your money on their platforms. I would stay away from smaller/unprofessional/new casinos until they have proven themselves to be trustworthy. (At least 1 year old casino with no accusations and a large userbase)
