~ If we have a disastrous strike and the economy receeds greatly, no asset is good for holding all you need is food and fuel (fire etc) and water. Beyond that the rest of the money people have has to go somewhere.
Yeah, I kinda got a glimpse of what's going to happen if there will be another pandemic longer than COVID-19. I've seen people trade their belongings for food (i.e. gadgets for rice) similar to the barter system where fiats or other forms of currency are unknown.

~ Well, exactly, yesterday I was trying to remember what campaign on the forum took place with a wallet that accepts ETH, and it turned out to be OWNR. Thank you, I will add. No problem. In case you missed my edit ~ I don't know if you should really include freewallet.org on that list. There are plenty of accusations against them for withholding funds and forcing users to undergo KYC verification.

Please add to the list: Equal Web Wallet- support Ethereum, Binance, and Zilliqa blockchains - I tried connecting to Uniswap and it works too. It's not on the official list of wallets but just select "metamask" and you'll be connected. Ownr Wallet- supports multiple cryptocurrencies including eth - Available for desktop (windows, mac, linux) and mobile (android/ios), Mycelium (Android) also supports Ethereum too https://medium.com/token-suisse/mycelium-wallet-to-support-eth-2e18829dabd9

I have nothing against your gut feel on Costa winning but I don't see it at over 2.5 rounds unless you also see Costa pinning Adesanya on the ground. I kinda agree with Dan that he'll charge, start quickly, and give it all in the first two rounds. I don't think he has the gas tank to keep up with Adesanya after two rounds of high volume striking. As Adesanya puts it, Costa will be the Bull and he'll be the Matador.

Pres. Duterte has had his sights set on China and his pivot away from the USA when he assumed office. He was probably preparing for something like this to happen and he knows Asian neighbors like China and long-time 'friend' Japan will continue to respect the country's jurisdiction unlike those of "human rights countries" who are still acting as big brother. Yes, there has been territorial disputes among Asian neighbors but that's another matter of discussion. This "setback" is minor but will have a bigger impact because of the pandemic. I think he and his economic team was able to establish a strong foundation in the four years of his Presidency. The Government will continue as usual with the projects laid out already and form new partnerships with other countries willing to trade building stronger ties in the process. EU might be bigger right now but Asia is growing fast. In the next few years, Asia could surpass EU. ~ When Duterte was still campaigning for the presidency, and even when he was still a local chief executive with no dreams whatsoever of making it to national politics, he was already very transparent of his strong stance against drugs. And yet, on this very same platform and with his track record against drugs, he, the dark-horse candidate, was able to secure a landslide victory as president.
4 years within his term and with what others would call as violent and dirty drug war, he is still enjoying high approval, trust, and satisfaction ratings among his people.
Could it be that the man's defiant and very vocal attitude, often cursing and using words as rough and unstatesmanlike as stupid, son of a bitch, and so on against prominent western leaders, is the reason for being economically punished by international communities? Could it be that his strong independent policies often laced with anti-western pronouncements are really the reason why he is being so disliked among western leaders?
Are the same economic penalties meted on countries with similar, yet relatively more quiet, strong stance against illegal drugs? The neighboring Indonesia's Jokowi, for example, has even executed a number of foreign nationals in the name of the same drug war.
Yeah he had multiple run ins with human rights groups way before he became known on a National level. I didn't know him and how he transformed his city into a what it is today - top class - until months prior to the 2016 Presidential election. The Man has a poor image internationally and he pretty much said he doesn't give a damn since day 1 of his Presidency. There are definitely forces at work that's tarnishing the image of Pres. Duterte. If I'm not mistaken, it all started with a drug war report from Rappler. That news has long been debunked though. At first, she told everyone that the data came from the PNP themselves but later retracted that they're from a different source.but despite that, Ressa (Rappler's CEO) and the people behind her kept on inflating the numbers - Ressa, Coronel and Rappler concocted false ‘27,000 killed’ number in anti-drug war. I don't know what the President's PR team (if he had any) are actually doing about this but perhaps the President himself instructed them to focus on communicating with the locals. The feel I get is that he wanted to talk and sit down with locals from far areas and let them know the Government is here to help. The President might have thought it's the best way to stop the NPA terrorists from fooling and recruiting them.

I found something in their Help desk but I don't fully understand it yet. It looks like they do not accept any bitcoin deposits yet. The "My Bitcoin" tab is probably for the service they provide on purchase of Bitcoin mining machines (whatever that means). I guess I'll just let you read all the rest from the above links.

UFC 253 Countdown - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wskZFgkwhgLet's start with what will probably happen between Adesanya and Costa. Adesanya's strengths are his striking skills and dexterity. He moves pretty well and a great counter puncher too. Costa has his jiu jitsu background, submission, and is also known for his power. During Costa's previous fights, his opponents stands still often which allows him to land those power punches. Adesanya isn't like that, he is elusive. I think Costa will be frustrated trying to knock him out on the feet. He'll have to rely on his submission skills or ground and pound to win.

I felt bad for the Nuggets. The last shot by Jokic over Davis after pushing him like a kid and the block by Murray on Green could have been the big moments of the game.
Poor defense by that no. 7 Denver player. Why does he have to go and hug a well covered James? I know he was looking for a switch but with 2.1 seconds remaining?
Did anyone else notice how casual Rondo is after Davis made the shot? Everyone was ecstatic but he just walked like nothing important happened.

"Leaked" ~ But now that this proof of Banks are the one whose the true criminal assistant for their transferring i guess this is the time for us to Heads up and be proud of what market are we having.
It has been proven long before the first Bitcoin block was mined that money launderers have been using banks and other financial services to move their money for years. They can't carry all those cold cash and fly them from one country to another. Even if they can, they probably won't take that risk. People are just ignorant and gullible to whatever the media feeds them about bitcoin.

These swaps (especially Uniswap) are going to put an end to the likes of IDEX and DDEX. I think more developers will try to list their tokens there leaving less liquidity to "old DEXs". Table form is better for viewing especially when the list grows even bigger. Let me help you out with the presentation. Feel free to use it or edit however you want it. Covington wouldn't dare exchange blows against Woodley. He'll take him to the ground for sure. He'll try to throw punches here and there to mix it up but the end game is to finish the fight in the ground via submission or TKO. If the fight goes to the 5th round, Woodley would end up frustrated lying on the ground most of the fight. I prefer Cowboy to retire. He probably has little power left in his kicks but he doesn't have a good chin anymore. Niko might not be that skilled in striking compared to Cowboy but the guy has some serious KO power. He finishes opponents in some weird ways too, just look at how he KO'd someone with a hammer fist while on his back For Khamzat Chimaev, well, what else can we say about this guy? I don't know if it's even worth it to check his opponent. I think I got the Covington-Woodley analysis right somehow. A takedown right off the bat Cowboy has outdone himself this time and kudos to him. He ate a lot of good shots in the early rounds. I don't agree with the decision though and I think Price should have won by split decision at least. On Khamzat's fight, yeah there was no need to know who the opponent is.
Adesanya vs. Costa is up next! https://www.ufc.com/event/ufc-253Co-main event (Reyes vs. Blachowicz) is a must watch too.

Nabasa ko na din to nung nakaraan sa decrypt.co. Tapang-tapangan pa sila eh at ginagamit yung decentralization para patuloy silang makapanloko ng mga tao. Meanwhile, Mining City seems undeterred. A notice on its website states it will continue to operate even if its business, or website, were to be shut down by any government. It even claimed that the government cannot shut it down because it is decentralized and “free from any authority.” Grabeng kakupalan talaga yan. Anyway, nakuha naman na ng SEC yung mga pangalan ng top Pinoy promoters. We'll see if cases will be filed.

~ Less than 500 people who are all readers of Cointelegraph is not a representative selection of respondents, so the poll results are telling us nothing that can be generalized to make conclusions about the crypto investors' community as such. These respondents happened not to be around in 2017, but many people were, and many weren't newbies and did not buy Bitcoin during ATH (I didn't, for instance, but I also did not sell and it wasn't the best decision). As for willing to wait for profits for years, it's just a typical hodler position, so I don't see what makes them a new breed at all.
They're Huobi users and maybe not Cointelegraph readers. Maybe you missed the point. Let me expound more on that. - Many 2017 newbie investors most likely bought bitcoin thinking they are going to get rich. I even read some stories about selling properties and taking out loans because they thought the pump will continue and they're going to earn a lot of money. The FOMO is too strong during those times. They might have been enticed by xx% pumps in a matter of week/s
- 2020 investors, based on the survey, seems more mature and more knowledgeable. They see bitcoin as real long term investment (at least one year), Thus, "new breed"
It honestly doesn't improve my confidence for even the slightest.
Various people can claim that they will be holding their bitcoin for whatever amount of years and such, but then when the price drops enough to the point that it scared their asses off? They dump, saying that bitcoin is dead, or to "buy back lower".
I think it's better to look at how the bitcoin "bulls" acted in the last crash after the bull run, than listen to what they say.
I agree that what you say is different from what you do when you are really in that situation. I've also experienced trying to hodl while the price is dumping but it didn't last. I had to fight my "hodler's ego" and it turned out it's the right decision. About the bulls' actions, I doubt anyone would spill their strategy in public but I'd be interested to read that as well. ~ I think people are beginning to see that bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme or a get rich quick stuff. They are beginning to see the true reason bitcoin was made in the first place
I failed to include the "bitcoin is a bubble" in the OP. It's one of the most used attacks around 2018. The bounce back is probably one reason why we see the change in mentality towards bitcoin. If it was able to survive a ~90% crash, it can probably survive anything. ~ Nothing has change though in my opinion, what we are seeing is just a pattern. After a bullrun or even during a bullrun there will always be fresh blood going to pump the market, getting rekt, obviously exited and never comeback. But there will always be some groups that are going to replace them, just like what we are seeing today. As for the age of the new investors, doesn't mean anything as well. As long as these investors know the risk involved, whether was age, race, color, ethnicity or social standing, there will always be investors coming along to the ecosystem.
It could be a pattern/cycle as well but I wouldn't underestimate the exposure bitcoin had since 2017. I believe that was the time it really caught the attention of mainstream media, traditional investors, and financial institutions. It's highly probably that many of the spectators got curious and started researching. I agree that there will always be fresh blood to be rekt though, especially when btc pumps to $20K or higher, but perhaps we'll see more prepared new investors when that time comes.

There was a survey conducted by Huobi which was also reported by Cointelegraph. No. of respondents: | 491 | Age range: | mostly from 26 to 50 | Investment experience: | Most with less than 3 years |
So it appears that most of the respondents are relatively new to crypto investments and they weren't around during the 2017 bullrun. I guess they can be considered lucky. They might have been rekt too like most newbies then had they bought btc when it was pumping. An interesting result is that 45% of the respondents have one year or longer timeline for their investment. To me, this indicates that they are preparing for the much anticipated bull run next year based on btc's 4-year cycle or the pattern that btc tends to pump 1 year after halving. Another 12.5% said they are willing to wait four years or more for their ROI. These are either serious hodlers who sees potential in bitcoin or they just want to try and see if they can profit or not. The no. of respondents might be small and do not really represent the new breed of btc investors but it's still a good sign that they do not see this as a pump and dump/get rich quick/ponzi scheme. What do you make of this survey? Are we seeing a change on how newcomers view bitcoin investment?

~ It's pretty good. Not sure what Cowboy is doing as the penultimate fight though. He didn't even make the main card last time and got KFO by McGregor within a minute. Speaking of McGregor did anyone see his latest shenanigans of getting arrested for alleged indecent exposure: https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/ufc/conor-mcgregor-arrested-pictures-show-22676879He really needs to return to fighting or his legacy will be ruined at this point. He could have been one of the greats but he left too early for that in my opinion. He should just sign a whopping contract for three fights or something. Diaz trilogy, maybe Gamebred and then the Khabib rematch. Every single one of them would be the biggest PPVs in UFC history. I don't pay much attention to what they do outside the octagon. I think Jon Jones have done much worse but he's still one of the most watched fighter in MMA. His legacy remains even after being caught of using substance more than once. For McGregor, all Dana needs to do is arrange a good money fight for Conor and he'll be back in a heartbeat. I miss this format. Chimaev is playful. Gerald has been responding well too. I love how they're making bets already with "if I do this to you, if I do that to you" Well, everyone's trying to sell the card and create "rivalries" for PPVs. Cowboy looks chill and it looks like he's there for the money. It doesn't look like he really cares if he wins or not.

Since you already paid with credit card, why not take advantage of crypto exchange sponsored cards next time? Binance launched its own card recently and it works like a regular debit card according to their announcement. Just top it up with bitcoin and its ready for payment. I know there are other crypto cards that has been launched before such as MCO and Tenx

~ I still believe there was a sort of manipulation that lead me to a lost, maybe things do happen this way; just my first time of experience. Lesson learned
There's always manipulation my friend and it's more apparent in unregulated/less regulated markets like cryptocurrencies. Everyone is looking out for their self-interest and that's something you have to accept when you trade. If I happen to become a market maker, I would also try to move/manipulate the price of a coin in my favor. Trading indicators won't exactly tell you what's going to happen. It will only give you a hint based on previous data but that can quickly change. The reason why a lot of traders set up stop loss is because of that.
