Trying to log in getting a cloudflare error.

The site has been going down every night around 1am EST for about 15-20 mins. Itll pop back up no worries

Wonder if it's for backups. If so, they should add a page so that when it's happening, people know what's going on.
2622  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |Secure & Trusted|Weekly Rake+VIP|DICE★PLINKO★HORSE RACING on: October 21, 2015, 01:32:50 AM
^ Also, don't forget that Betterbets is not getting 100% of the house edge but only at most half of it (Ref: https://www.moneypot.com/faq#how-much-do-you-charge-). So they are already giving out most of their profit margin through those cashback, affiliate payment and raffle prizes.

Sad part is so few seem to realize this and just throw money at pd with zero bonus. BB should be crammed with players.

Humans, by nature, are adverse to change. It affects all parts of our lives. It's why the first to market, in most cases, takes a large share, and it's harder for others to compete. Human nature.

That said, some (myself included) are more drawn to change and are always looking for a better, more efficient method/system.
2623  Economy / Gambling / Re: ApopheniaBTC - Bet and solve the challenges to win BTC. on: October 21, 2015, 01:25:45 AM

Wow, then how could you think to make money when there are only few challengers in your site? That's very hard with these contestant number. You should do something more to earn more profit. This site has a unique puzzle in BTC community.

Yes this game is fresh and preaty unique, so I think it will do good if it gets promoted. But like he said he prefers to develop it a little more before going that way, and I think that is fair.
Looking forward to see how the new "game mode" will turn out!

Unfortunally I still haven't made much progress with the new mode. I've made detailed plans (database schema, API endpoints needed etc) but I haven't found much time to work on it yet.

Well don't worry, at least you haven't discarded the idea so take your time, I'm pretty sure it's a lot of hard work for just one person. Have you ever thought about getting help to work on your site? (not offering though, I can't program lol)

I'd like to know what the plan is, though. Like long-term. Even if it'll be a while, just knowing the general direction of the site is helpful.

Again big action. 3 whales.

I think I missed them. Hopefully they feed us this time, Smiley

Still playing Wink

Ah, I saw the bettor at 2k per bet... didn't see the others. In any case, just keep refreshing the /stats page every 10m or so, watching profit drop and drop, XD. One day, though! House edge will prevail!

2626  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: October 20, 2015, 09:11:27 PM
Where do new SwC players come from?

  • Bitcoin holders - Already have wallets and Bitcoins.  Little or no poker experience.
  • Bitcoin gamblers - Dice players, etc.  Already have wallet and Bitcoins.  Little or no poker experience.
  • Internet poker players - But using dollars or Euros.  No wallet and no Bitcoins.  Experienced poker players.
  • General population - No wallet and no Bitcoins.  Little or no poker experience.

Which group did you come from?

Which group is the easiest to recruit?

Which group has the biggest potential?

1) Internet poker players and Bitcoin holders
2) Internet poker players
3) Internet poker players

All in the same order, Smiley.

WHERE CAN I TRUST 100% TO INVEST MY COINS for garentee payback
CAN ANY ONE SUGGEST ME ?

Trading at yobit is pretty easy, they pay every time and are very transparent.

Check my signature and you will see what i`m talking about Smiley

How does it work? How can you earn with them besides promoting them?

Trading altcoin.

Buy them low, sell them high. Many coins there cost less than 10 satoshi, and can usually go up to 200-300 satoshi, some even in the 10.000 range.

That could multiply the profits really easily.

It's also a great way to lose everything. Might as well hit up a casino.

Risk. Management.

Besides most coins do make sometimes 300% gains, look at my signature.

And for example today BTZ just made 266% gain Cheesy

Ticker   Price           ROI             Volume
BTZ    0.00000022    + 266.7%    0.1

I see what you mean. I mean all the coins that dropped 100%+ in the past 24h are irrelevant here, clearly. The fact that the down (when totaled) is almost 4x as much as the up (totaled) is irrelevant.

Just because you luck out from time to time doesn't make it a good investment. Otherwise people like Warren Buffer would invest money in everything under the sun and say "but some of them worked!" No.

You forgot to read the 2 most important words there in my post. So I highlighted it.

I never said invest all your money in them or double down. That is foolish. However with proper risk control, and some basic trading skills, it's definitely possible to earn that much. I mean the money is right before you, you just have to take it.

See, but now you're bringing knowledge/experience into the mix. Clearly the OP has neither in relation to this. Hence why you're telling him to risk everything in something he knows nothing about. Never. NEVER suggest that people with no knowledge of investing start to invest.
2628  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: October 20, 2015, 08:41:41 PM
Wow, I was away for maybe a month from Bustabit and I just noticed maxprofit is higher than 19BTC  Shocked Shocked

Someone lost big or Ryan put some liquidity in the pot?

I put a lot of extra money (~200 btc) in the bankroll to support higher wins (something the whale wanted) but now that battle has been fought, i'll be shortly pulling money out of the bankroll and reducing my exposure =)

So if you want your chance of a big hit, better be quick (Yesterday someone set a new record, with a >15 BTC profit hit) before i lower it down to about ~10 BTC again

Did they end up losing it again, or running off with it? Tongue

Due to the large amount of european customers we decided to move our hosting to the UK. This doesn't affect US Customers as much as it sounds like, the connection is still more than sufficient to load the site in a timely manner. Please stay put until the server migration is done Smiley

FWIW, I rarely have lag even on EU game servers. I'm kind of surprised it's an issue for EU people to play in the US (or visit our sites)...
2630  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |Secure & Trusted|Weekly Rake+VIP|DICE★PLINKO★HORSE RACING on: October 20, 2015, 08:38:13 PM
I really like the wager wars it feels like a very interesting idea. The battle against PRC will be hard tho as they have some big whales there

Is great idea and fun to participate putting sites into teams we fans of. is good time and hope see great action. PRC max bet make this one unpredictable need many whale on BB now.

Betterbets needs to hold on together and beat PRC now or they will be further leaving, http://dicesites.com/wager-warz the different is now 800+ btc different because some whale wagered alot again and win huge

@bjorn, any new feature coming soon? what about the new game? I think I has not see any new thing / feature nowadays and development is running slower than few months ago now

Our main developer was away for family reasons, look for many new things coming over the next 6 weeks as we are going to have some surprises. Usually when devs are away this is when I personally start creating new events like Casino Wager WARZ and other contests to help build the BetterBets brand in the interim.

Yeah, I've had some nasty personal matters to attend to. Development should be more regular from now on, barring more nasty surprises.

Good to know that development will continue again. Hoping to see the new promised game sooner also some new cool feature as well

BB has a house edge of 1%, and so after this 0.2% "special whale" cashback and even after 0.15% affiliate payment (assuming the user registered using an affiliate link from his another account), it will not be +EV still.

It is not but it is still better than playing at other place. I dont even know how to calculate this already because there is raffle ticket as well, your chance to win the ipad air or 3 btc is another + ev I think?

Technically, the site can't be +EV. If it were, it would lose more money than it makes, resulting in a loss and closure.
2631  Economy / Gambling / Re: ToTheMoon.me | Invest into the Bankroll of Social gambling site on: October 20, 2015, 08:36:34 PM
2 whales kill the site right now, if someone wants to watch money being burned Sad
are there any statistics on how much did they want? i would be really curious to see how much did you loose because of them

Go to the site and click on Leaderboard. There you can see the top winners

Wow, just checked stats. They tanked profit down to 7 BTC, o.o. Let's hope they lose it now, Smiley.

anyone had luck with the SMS notifications? I know the cash game traffic is low, but I haven't received one yet since verifying my number

Are you using a real cell number or one of the virtual ones? A lot of systems have trouble with virtual numbers (I think due to carriers).

2634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: October 20, 2015, 08:28:05 AM
Dude it is impossible to make the transactions intraceable....  Undecided

it's very possible you can read all post above
you can choose 1 way of all tips to make untraceable transaction

It might be described at hard to trace.  I mean I think a lot that think they are untraceable if a government threw enough money and time twords finding them they could.   I mean if someone is watching it's pretty easy to follow the chain once it starts being sent.

There are a few way's like my favorite of anonymous mining that might make you untraceable on storage.  When you go to use it you lose some of that being untraceable.

And again I hope people are doing this as they don't want others online to see their holdings, or other legal reasons.

The big issue with that is that like you said, as soon as you use it, you become traceable. Use eventually leads to personal identity -- whether you're using it for web hosting, to buy something, pay bills, etc. you create a trail at some point. Bitcoin was never made to be anonymous; it was made to be decentralized.

Not always true, What about using fake ID, Most places you can get away with using fake scan's.

Bitcoin can be as anonymous as you want if you know how to make yourself anonymous..

Not only that. Know how to leave "fake" footprints.. Everyone knows about IP's and VPN's but how many people know to spoof there browser user agent Disable IPV6 to stop DNS leaks, Remove WEBRTC from there browser. Spoof there network card or wireless card MAC address. Any fool can download tor and "think" that's them covered. This is not the case.

There are many ways to make BTC anonymous when you use them, Its the effort you are willing to put in that will determinate how "anonymous" your coins end up..

Even using all of that, you're not anonymous. How do you think people get nailed even when they follow all security protocols? How do you think people with fake IDs get nabbed? You always leak information. Always.
2635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 20, 2015, 08:26:34 AM
mining if you have free electric Tongue

Free electricity doesn't mean it's profitable. You're burning up your video card/CPU at the same time. Factor in those costs.

when i was instamining alt in the past, it was basically with free electricity, because i was mining for 5 min and then repeat for another coin, and it was everything but not profitable

also if well cooled, usually custom gpu are the best, you can be assured that your gpu would last very long, and anyway gpu are not like asic, they have warranty...

This is one edge of gpu mining: the warranty of the card itself. Nowadays, altcoins mostly are GPU-dependent on their algorithms thus making GPU mining profitable (if in case these coins hit the exchanges). Also, a few cards would probably give you some profit if you mine a low-difficulty coin already out in the exchanges, it's also a plus if you got a cheap electricity.

Overclocking your GPU will void the warranty. I believe mining at 100% will as well. And sadly, nobody has lifetime warranties anymore, Sad.

Because we live in a consumerist economy where the more you consume the better the economy is, fallacy is on.

Regardless, the maximum warranty you get is 5 years here, and that is on TV and PC. For shitty small stuff, 1 maybe 2 years.

They make shittier items for the same price (shrink-flation), to hide the inflation in the economy. So no producer will assume the risk of warranty.

Blame the money printing Smiley

XFX used to give lifetime warranties... and even better, they could be TRANSFERRED twice to new buyers (significantly increasing the resale value of their cards). Sadly, they don't do that anymore, either.

How about cryptocurrency ??
it's good?

what do you mean? xfx is a gpu company, it has nothing to do with crypto, gpu should not be that bad for crypto if you're asking for this, but there are only few coins that are profitable

take a look at the altcoin announcment section, search for the new only, if it isn't already launched it's probably not profitable

You couldn't tell that his one post on the forums happens to be spam? Tongue.
2636  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: October 20, 2015, 08:25:31 AM
When I withdraw from Moneypot my wallet says "This transaction is not standard and should not be trusted."  Why is that?  I'm using multibit.

This is probably more of a question for multibit devs, but two possible reasons I can think of:

A) multibit incorrectly thinks that using nlocktime is non-standard
b) a (malicious) bitcoin node modified the withdrawal transaction, and your client saw the incorrect one (with the high s value)

Either way, there's nothing to worry about. MoneyPot only sends out standard transactions, and it'll confirm like normal, and show up in your spendable balance.

yah, i also want to vouch that so far my a few week of moneypot is pleasant. i have tried to despoit btc, without btc, invest, divest all works. I have yet to try out the gamble.

Gambling is a site-by-site thing, although results go through MP. So it's kind of a YMMV thing there.

2638  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: October 20, 2015, 05:05:12 AM
I'm sorry for honesty .. but this "game" reminds me of Cloud Mining Services. I do not want to say that there is something wrong, but in this game we can win real BTC, so somehow you need to get them (BTC). Do you have miners to cover the costs of game? Or when new users stop coming you will be forced to stop paying?

If you ignore the cloud mining aspect, it's a website where you put in an investment and then get a fractional part of that back each day. The site will never keep up and anyone saying that MinerFarm is legit is either playing you to make a buck or get out at your expense, or just stupid themselves.

If you think that way, every cloud mining system is ponzi. Unless you purchase pyhsical mining hardware, all of them are risky.

Actually we know only advertisement baner's incomes. Maybe there are some other incomes with using the investments btcs. We do not know. It can be real mining or other invesments. If alisar can pay, I will ot interest the other things.

If he's been running all the other faucets and paying out, it's entirely possible that those earnings help subsidize the site as well.

why would a smart businessman who runs an allegedly profitable faucet ring come out and start a site that will lose him money.

Because it allows him to boost his own sites? Why does Amazon offer free eBooks? It costs money every time you view their site and download something. It's because it helps them drag you into other things.
2639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: October 20, 2015, 05:03:40 AM
mixers are a good and fast way to become untraceable but the way that i found out to be working better than mixers is to exchange the coins to another altcoin.

for example you can do this on shapeshift, and buy an altcoin, then move those to an exchanger and buy bitcoin with it and move it to your final wallet.
in this way you only lose some money on trade fees and transaction fees but it would be more effective.

but for the rest of us the mixers is more than enough Cheesy

Mixers. Do. Not. Work.

Well, obviously by my signature I'm biased... but cryptonotes are the only way to go if you want to become "untraceable" in your transactions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those altcoins, or at least function like them? Because if so, that isn't a solution -- that's like saying "you can send Bitcoin anonymously. Just convert Bitcoin to cash and pay the person in cash!"

No, Monero is truly a whole different beast... Cryptonote technology is the new upcoming technology for sure IMO, but that's just me.  If you'd like to read more, look at my links and look up the whitepaper for XMR...

But essentially Dash or dark and other scam coins that pose they are "the true anonymous coin" are mistaken... the Devs that are currently working "under the hood" for the new GUI that's about to come out are well known in the crypto world and are proposing that everything will be set up and running by spring or summer of next year.  Basically what monero does is have a private key, a view key, and now with the new addition to xmr, a "ring CT" which will make up an "amount key".

So, XMR not only hides where the coins are coming from, but now hides how much coins are being transacted to one another.
https://github.com/ShenNoether/MiniNero/blob/master/RingCT0.1_copy.pdf

If you'd like to get technical, you can read that... but the terminology in that paper is way over my head.  I just know the ELI5 version of everything going on right now.

I think we have different opinions about what an altcoin constitutes. Essentially, I guess a better way to rephrase my question is "aren't you using your Bitcoin to buy something else, then transacting that instead of Bitcoin?" Like using Monero or another system, if I have 1 BTC now and I want to send it to you, I can't just send you the full 1 BTC, right?

Minimal invest 1BTC , are you not interested  open invest min 0.1 BTC  Huh
Minimal invest 1btc is so far so good, also there have site you can invest there, example bitdice.me is min invest is 0.1 btc.

There's also sites with no minimum investment. But that has nothing to do with TTM.
