Thanks for the suggestion Varvarin. I will definitely keep them in mind for audio assets if we need any. JT has also offered to do epic voiceovers (thanks JT!). At this stage I want to keep the game light on bandwith use for both the server and the players, so there may not be much sound at all. But a video introducing Crypto Galaxies before it launches might be pretty awesome. Cool stuff. When I am ready for it JT I will definitely call on your awesome video skills At the moment it seems the current hosting we have (donated by a long time HYPER supporter along with the domain) might not be enough to handle what I'm working on. Will see about getting it upgraded, we may need to switch hosts. May be worth looking into something like AWS, especially if the game is going to grow (makes it easier to increase server stats).

We are back to 4 satoshis! Thanks to somebody that bought 1 Bitcoin worth of Devcoin in Vircurex.
You are welcome By the way, please all go voting https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting to add Devcoin to Cryptopia, which is a reliable market place. Devcoin is ranked fourth in the Community voting. You can vote DVC once every day I voted today, we can get to 1st place if we are persistent! Voted as well! Keep in mind getting on another exchange is only a small part of the battle, though. DVC has had almost no liquidity for well over 6 months now.

GUESS THE JACKPOT!!! DiceCo.in doubles the Jackpot for you!Guess the winning value of our first Minor Jackpot and win the Jackpot also! Requirements:- post an integer value (e.g. 399; Not 399,8787) - 1 post per user // NO EDIT POST ALLOWED!!! - Wager at least 2 bits on the website (PS. You can use the faucet to do that!) The first to guess the jackpot value will win the jackpot amount. If there's no correct answer, the first who is nearest the value will win it. As you know, the Jackpots values are encrypted so the only way to get the value is to have a winner of it. That's why the prize will be awarded after our first jackpot will be won! With this we make public the current range for Minor Jackpot: Starting point = 120 bits Current value = 325 bits Maximum value of jackpot = 400 bits !!! So there only 75 values left. Let the contest begin!! I'll go first. I guess 377, .

might be the screen size u r using, as it works on my iphone and pc, sometimes if you refresh the page it helps also. If that does not work for you, let me know and i will inquire about this for you.
I haven't tried it yet using mobile like a tablet or iphone. I currently using a Samsung 19 inch monitor. I'm not a techy guy who knows some work around with this monitor or my desktop but even if I try to remove the bookmarks bar, it still wont fit when I play plinko, I have to scroll up to check where the bubble landed. I'm using chrome now, so what I do is zoom out to 67% so it will fit. It's actually not relevant what size the monitor is, but what resolution you're at. 800*600 would be vastly different from 1280*1024, for example.

I looked at the last 6 or 7 months, and yes some months are better some are worse, just a totally rough estimate, I'd say the site brings in an average of 90 BTC's profit a month. (If im wrong, correct me). So each month really you are getting about 0.27BTCs, But even if its double that, and each month you get 0.5BTC, to even get your money back, and break even would take over a year at 7.5 BTC's. And like the guy said in the previous post, the whole economy of bitcoins in general is so volatile.
So lets say the world figures out bitcoins are the best, it gains popularity, and doubles in value, then it would only take 8 months to break even?
So all that happens, its very lucky, you wait the 8 months, and finally you can get your 0.4 Bitcoins each month? I feel like it might be easier to just throw a bet at satoshi
What does doubling in value have to do with anything? You buy in at 10 BTC when BTC is $100 each. You spent $1000. You sell out at 5 BTC when BTC is $500 each. You make $2500, or $1500 profit. BUT you could have kept the 10 BTC and now you'd have 10 BTC at $500 BTC each, worth $5000, or a profit of $4900. Which was the better deal? Tl;dr: the price of bitcoin should NEVER be taken into consideration when dealing with a BTC-denominated 'stock.'

So what exactly is gonna keep the coin worth any btc..like if someone buys in at .0003 whats gonna keep it at or above .0003?
The value of the coin is directly related the the value of BetKing.io. As profit for BetKing.io increases so does the value of the coin I don't follow how this works though. Are the coins only meant to be sold and bought from the site itself, rather than traded (i.e., on exchanges)? Or how are the prices sustained to keep people from buying up (rising price) and dumping (lowering it)? The initial offering will be purchased from BetKing.io. I will then be looking to get them on an exchange for people to trade. How do you counter the market forces then? Basically, I guess the best way to ask the question is... if each coin is going to have a set value based on the profit of BK, that means users themselves have no influence on the price. If they do, it can't have a set value since each person will value theirs differently. So how do you ensure the coins remain at the proper valuation?

This valuation seems way off. You're dealing with a volatile coin, in a volatile economy, with a volatile site. You're basically putting risk on top of risk on top of more risk. At 20-30% ROI/yr, you're in a high-risk, medium-reward situation, at best. Using a highly illiquid method of ownership. I just can't fathom ever viewing this as a decent deal under the current circumstances.

Great job yahoo, your new plinko game looks so nice. It is different with the traditional plinko board, so for those who are bored with traditional plinko board need to try this unique board. Hope there will be more players come and wager on your new game.
Yeah, I love this design. It's just so refreshing to see it in a different way than the norm, . Very fluid, smooth setup that works extremely well. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next (if you're working on something).

And to you, Zodiac, is there any chance of getting a "speed" setting on the site? Can't think of any better way to explain it so basically like BetterBets' race horses: you can set the speed to instant, extremely slow, or anything between. Allow something like this on the Plinko, to let the graphics move at the player's pace.
A game speed setting was implemented recently I love you! Only one small issue here (Chrome, if it matters): when I click the bet with it maxed out on speed, there's a sort of freeze period. Probably half a second to a second, and then it will update the win/loss. Used to see people betting like 3-4x/s, so wondering if that's only possible with the bot, or if there's something on my end that causes the freeze-up that I need to look into. To help with this issues id recommend you set your filters in account tab it stops a lot of the delay. I set mine to 0.0001 User level don't matter much as of now. Interesting trick. That worked perfectly -- almost zero delay after setting those (I went with 0.001/0.001). Thanks for the help there, .

http://imgur.com/a/Z2VcTAny interest in either of these 2 consoles? The Halo 3 limited edition one has had the hard drive inside replaced with a 160gb. It would come console and harddrive only. The gears of war 3 slim hasn't had the glitch chip installed yet. However, I can install it and have it ready to ship out by tomorrow. It has a 250 gb Harddrive and would come with the power brick. Asking: Gears of war 3: $180 shipped in US. Escrow is always accepted. However, you pay the fees Edit: I've got the chip installed, and the gears of war console is ready to go! The Halo 3 one has sold I just wanted to toss up an update for anyone curious. Over a month, and the 360 I bought has shown zero issues yet! Was still somewhat worried about RROD just because... well, people were buying NEW 360s and having them RROD soon after. Definitely A+++ seller. And looking forward to seeing new stock (Xbox One, PS3, PS4, whatever), though I still have plenty left to play on the 360!

Great addition! It'd be awesome if you had a more readable list though. As an example, MP's has a much more detailed breakdown. It serves as a great way to see patterns (i.e., when big people invest/divest, when people are playing, etc.). Not a "high priority" thing but would definitely love to see something like this, . Our method's purpose is to provide the proof without disclosing individual balances at all, which provides even greater privacy than a list of user-hash balances/investments. We may consider alternative methods in the future though. Got it. If you do come up with a way that you feel is a bit more detailed but still provides that privacy, I'd definitely be up for checking it out. Just helps see patterns of sites and such so it's immensely beneficial. Also, @BV in general... grats on the continued growth! And to you, Zodiac, is there any chance of getting a "speed" setting on the site? Allow something like this on the Plinko, to let the graphics move at the player's pace. And then add automated rolling on top of that. It'd do the same thing as the external bots already do, but would be much more inclusive since not everyone comes to the forums. This should result in more bets.

I have done so...they refuse to believe there's a problem. I'm not talking about a problems with the servers. I'm talking about withdraw code.
Also, can I please get unbanned from chat. I promise I won't talk about these kinds of things ini public anymore.
Issue is fixed and you are unbanned. Glad to see you two worked out your problems. I'm generally not a fan of censoring, but in this case I did feel it was warranted. And on to why I visited, :p. When are we getting "invest all" buttons?

Those are spambots, they post random articles usually full of nonsense that contain links to 3rd party sites to get them backlinks. This. It's something that has to be dealt with through plugins and such, as well as proactively handled (there are plenty of manual posters that will spam for the same purpose).

How was February?
just click on the P&L link. Overall Month: +6.9320+1 Yep, those numbers are correct. I'll have a summary of the month out by Wednesday evening at the latest.. Is there any chance of seeing dividends at the end of March? . Or better put, what numbers would we be looking for to make that happen?

Proof of LiabilitiesAt Bitvest, we strive to bring complete transparency to all our bettors and investors. That's why we've implemented a fully automated daily proof of liabilities. Any user with a balance, or an investment may use our tool to verify our cryptographic proof that their balance is included in the sum of liabilities. The total may then be compared against our proof of reserves shown in the OP to verify that all user balances are fully accounted for (makes fractional reserves impossible). To verify you are included in our total liabilities, log in and go to https://bitvest.io/liabilities. You will be presented with a root node containing the sum of all investments + balances, and your partial tree, which contains your username and the balance/investment sum for your account at the moment the report was generated.

In the process of reworking things a bit, seems the regulations are a bit different than I'd hoped. it's alright though, certainly won't slow me down. Just working out a new way to present things to fit within the scope of regulation. There will be a rework post here upon said change implementation. Business is going well, as expected, and I still do expect that to keep up, just have to find a bit of a modification to my ideas that will work out a little better. Sell equity in the business and you shouldn't have any hoops to jump through. No different than going into business with a friend or family.
