1641  Economy / Goods / Re: 100% Organic Beef for Sale on: March 13, 2016, 04:29:09 AM
Do yourself a favor. Instead of nitpicking small business owners all day that are still bound by the same FDA standards as all the meat you get in your precious supermarket, try this. Get a life. This thread is for the guy to sell his beef. No one cares if you personally don't want it.

All you dolts posting here about how you don't want beef are the same idiots who sit around wondering why nothing good is for sale on this forum any more. The reason is YOU. So mind your own business and let people trade without being harassed by random bored neckbeards. Just because you don't find a good or service valuable doesn't mean others won't. Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean people want or need to hear it. Let the people trade with out interference for fuck sake. If you wanna be someone's nanny have a kid.

If you read the posts, most people are only reading the title and then posting crap for their sig. campaign. Nothing more, nothing less. Half the people end up writing things that aren't even on-topic. Just ignore them.

This is an interesting concept but 1m sat+ a day is huge. How are you going to be earning enough to keep it online, paying out that much + all of the normal earnings?

Forgot to post about it here.

There's a new beta available for the bot that supports betting in rubies at betterbets. You can get the beta from https://bot.seuntjie.com/botpage.aspx?id=23

To bet in rubies, open the site menu and select betterbets and then rbs from the sub-menu and log in. Or, if you're already logged into betterbets with the bot, open the site menu, hover over betterbets (do not click on it) until the menu pops up, then select rbs from the sub-menu

Keep in mind that this is a beta release and it's meant to test new features and look for bugs in them. Please be careful while using it. Also report any bugs you might find to me either on the forum or by email (contact@seuntjie.com)

Tested Rubies bot no issue yet very fast thanks for making this.

Same here, Smiley. So far no bugs at all, no slowdowns, etc. Been running it for about 16h straight now.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◆Rubies◆ [RBIES] Trade-Mining | Backed by established business at launch. on: March 12, 2016, 11:33:06 PM
As a reminder to everyone that wants in on RBIES/BB but doesn't want to fork out the full 5 BTC, I'm running a group share program, split into 10 slots (0.5 each)! Next dividends come the beginning of April.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sweepabit - Beta | New mini casino site! on: March 12, 2016, 08:06:52 AM
Yep still in development, there is some bugs i wasn't aware of like the 24 bombs that is glitched. Currently working on it.
Thnx for coming up with more bugs if you catch some more! Cheesy

It's now fixed!

Cool, finally something different on moneypot.
What is the house edge?

With the last fix, https://github.com/Dexon95/bitsweeper/commit/8bddca4d5e3e8da86c59b41c444f6c8ee7a39131
House edge appears as 1.00% on 24 bombs bets Wink
I will change it so the house edge will sum up to 1% with the amount of tiles you can click.
For example, I will make that if you chose 1 bomb, the house edge per click will be 0.0416% (because 0.0416*24 ~= 1%)

Awesome little game! It's smooth and gives more of a strategy feel to playing, rather than just "click and see if you won."
1646  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Fancyhash.io★ New roulette blockchain based game. make extra btc in 5 minutes! on: March 12, 2016, 08:02:13 AM
Neat take on an old game! Takes a while for a round to finish but it's a great provably fair method -- blocks, in their nature, are completely random (such that if they weren't, someone would already be minting all of them). I like it!
1647  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 0.3% Share in Satoshibones Monthly Revenue on: March 12, 2016, 07:25:15 AM
if you can "sell" only a part of the investment (like 100 share of 0.15 BTC each one)
I think these ROI are so goods.... well also 1.5 BTC and 10 shares could be a good solutions, but you find easy 0.15 BTC...

You have asked to satoshibones owner if these shares could be splitted?

Uh, if it's a good deal at 1.5 each, it's a good deal at 0.15. It doesn't magically make the ROI higher to split them. And protip: if you look at the site's revenue... n/m, I won't do your due diligence for you.

No. Weight is matureCoins*age. So 1 coin at 1 day old may be weighted as 2. At 2 days old it would be 4, and so on. There's no way to derive the number of coins, as far as I'm aware, nor the age, just the calculation as a whole.

Okay, thank you for explaining that.  Does the coin age change if you add coins to an address?  Or only if you move coins to an entirely new address? (similar to zombie bitcoins?)

Only if you send them to a new address.

Or if you spend some from an input (input will then be sent to a new address + change address, which resets the age on both). That ONLY affects the single input though.

Let's say you have two inputs: 5 and 5
You spend 5
That will remove from input 1 and leave 2 alone, so 2 will keep moving up from the same age

On the other hand, if you did 5.1, you'd have wiped input 1, and split input 2, effectively resetting its age as well.

Ah yes, I should have went into more depth in my reply.

NP! Just figured since he was trying to understand it, I'd go ahead and clear up things that otherwise might have led to a misunderstanding. I think we covered it all now, Smiley.

1650  Economy / Gambling / Re: █ Public Jackpot Ranges █ Jackpot guaraanteed between 0,98BTC-1,5BTC █ DiceCo.in on: March 12, 2016, 04:01:50 AM
After reviewing your feedbacks we decided to modify some things to solve your concerns about the Jackpots.
Quoted from our new FAQ section

"When a new Jackpot is set, our server generates a random Hash Key (e.g. "MB58bNJogX") and random value for the Jackpot (e.g.  777). This value is the amount of bits to be won.
These two, the Hash Key and the Jackpot value are encrypted into a SHA256 Hash Code in the following form: "MB58bNJogX777".
The generated Hash Code for every Jackpot (Grand, Major and Minor) is shown in the Jackpot Box.
When a Jackpot is won you will find the jackpot value along the Hash Key and the Hash Code in the Jackpots Tab.
You can verify the authenticity of the Jackpot here:
http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator
After each increase of jackpot, the server compares the generated Hash Code of the new value with the
Jackpot Hash Code. When these two are the same, we have a winner.
In this way we assure that no one knows the Jackpot value and that no one can modify it."

We believe this setup of the Jackpot has some great benefits:
1. The certainty that the Jackpot will be won.
If we have a certain value, there is only a matter of time until we will have a winner.
The odds system approach gives you a much lower chance to win and it is possible to not have a winner for a very long time, unless the odds are controlled.
2. The Jackpot value cannot be seen or modified by the owners and trustworthy is very  important for us.

In the end we would like to thanks to all users who gave us a feedback. This is the only way to progress and maintain a high standard.

We decided to make public the Jackpots Ranges! All Jackpots are guaranteed within these ranges.

Minor Jackpot: 120 - 400 bits
Major Jackpot: 45678 - 125000 bits
Grand Jackpot: 987654 - 1500000 bits (0,98 - 1,5 BTC)

Awesome information, Smiley. Still a pretty big range but helps a lot in knowing how close it is to a guarantee (i.e., if you're at 350 you're already at a severely increased chance of hitting).

Oh boy.
I Deposited a small amount, like 3-4 dollar. A little more than needed to buy a level 2 building.

But every time i try to upgrade:
An error occurred: Please note that Proxies/VPNs are not allowed here!

Even though I am NOT using a Proxy or VPN.
I'd be happy to use this. But I dont think I will be able. And i dont think I will get my money back

I also sent a Mail to their Support adress. And got a delivered error. So the Mail adress doesn't even Seen to exist
Newbie?
I feel sorry for your loss, learn your lesson dont invest in this site.
Newbie or not ... you have to try something in Order to know if it works. I saw a link to this sie in a Users chatprofile (not a bot, not a ref link). Klicken it,  and the concept with the building seems kinda cool. So I trieb it out.

At least it want much money.
But you have to incest in something if you want to get something. The only question is where you can or can't invest. And what the risks are

Uh, if you're blindly investing, that's not investing -- that's straight up gambling. Don't act like throwing money at a site like this is 'investing.' It's not. If it were, there would be a full analysis of the business, including market information, principal members, 5-year prospecti, etc. How many of these did you see? Zero.

Anyone who sent money to this site did WORSE than giving a random stranger on the street money because he told you he'd return in a couple weeks with more, while leaving no information other than that. Why? Because now you can't even see the other party. If you wouldn't go give random people on the street money because they claimed they'd return more to you later, you probably shouldn't do it on the Internet.

Well done on all counts: turning things around, profitability, and keeping an eye on the long term.
++

And something I hadn't thought about asking before... on PeerBet's "share," since that includes altcoins, are those liquidated, or how do you come up with the BTC figures?
1653  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: March 11, 2016, 07:50:28 PM
In on two loans recently.

One A+ - 60 days.  Repaid well within the 60 days.
One C- - 365 days.  So far 9 of the 12 payments were made and he's only into month 3 of the loan.  So this one is in good shape too.

I've gotten lucky but I did some research before just tossing money at this (and it was a very small amount anyways).

Right now I've made more than I initially invested so I'm in the clear but I'll wait for the 2nd loan to complete before I move on to the next.

How you did the research to know who will pay and not if most of them are fake? Can you give a point of view

He just got lucky, there is no way to research anything - Pretty much all "borrowers" start off small, with "Reputation loans", then when they prove they can pay back a few coins, they make a big loan and then just run.

My point of view is to run away from that site, it's just a bunch of scammers enabling other scammers IMO.

He's not incorrect.  I just looked at previous loans / what the person was rated and jumped in "hoping" that I got it right.

I didn't just pick the first loans I saw that were A+ rated.  But in the end it truly is luck (and having the stomach for knowing that you'll likely lose)

It's definitely a gamble. If you are constantly throwing it all back in, you'd have better luck playing dice or slots -- at least then you know you lost due to luck and not because someone stole from you.

The graph is supposed to show network staking weight... think of it like looking at the Bitcoin hash rate (overall) so you can see its 'health,' so to speak.

Thank you,

Currently the rate is at ~1.2 million.  Does this mean that there are 1.2 million coins currently in wallets that are open, running, and thus staking?

No. Weight is matureCoins*age. So 1 coin at 1 day old may be weighted as 2. At 2 days old it would be 4, and so on. There's no way to derive the number of coins, as far as I'm aware, nor the age, just the calculation as a whole.

I like hagie's idea as it will help create a demand for GP if your game can be preordered in GP by those who want to buy it with GP, and being rewarded for buying it early is a really cool idea as well.

Please do this if you can TD!

Maybe we could have a three-tiered structure... Pre-Order, Supporter (Pre-Order with mention in Credits), and Investor (Pre-Order, special mention in credits, and GP back when certain conditions are met).

I'll have to think about it.  I don't like not being able to give a definite release date at present, but experience suggests it's still too soon to do that.

Can you PM me with details of how many GP you could put up for this and I'll put a plan together.  Won't be straight away though, I want to give this some serious thought before deciding anything.

Incidentally as well as the post I did some time ago (http://www.captaindisasterthecomputergame.com/2015/06/captain-disaster-now-sponsored-by.html), I have also updated the "About the Game" page with GP as sponsor (http://www.captaindisasterthecomputergame.com/p/about-game.html).  I will add more visible ways to promote GP on the devblog as I continue to update it.

I'm all for the tiered system. Offering up an investment program would be awesome, Smiley.

Looking at the wallet, i see there is room for another graph.
Perhaps this could show "my" stake weight (vs the network's),
or maybe the probability of staking within 1 hour, for example.

But we don't want the wallet to look too "busy".
Maybe you could overlay a graph on top of the graph,
or just add something to it (to give a little more info).

Looks like the graph needs to be stretched out also, because
the numbers at the bottom are jumbled on top of each other.
edit - duh now i see - i can stretch it out myself LOL  Cheesy

I think the current graph is too much.  It is not simple to make sense of at all.  Does it even make any sense?  I really have no idea what the graph is showing me.

The graph is supposed to show network staking weight... think of it like looking at the Bitcoin hash rate (overall) so you can see its 'health,' so to speak.

Thank you for this Seuntjie, for those not familiar with Seuntjie's betting bot hes been around a very long time and highly trusted. Bet with confidence, remember a bot is a means to test very elaborate strategies. It is not a guaranteed winning machine, but offers many things our site bot cannot do.

** please note this is still in beta, if you want to wait for full release please do.

I wasn't aware he updated it for RBIES so thanks for the post, Smiley. And I'll vouch for him as well!

1659  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: March 10, 2016, 06:44:05 AM
I was playing about a month or two ago with SaltySpitoon, as we do from time to time. I bet 1.5 BTM on the Serene Garden Dig and it just took my money and didn't allow me to play. (And I know how to play that game, I am pretty positive it is a bug) I used the game master message system to report the bug but I haven't gotten a response yet.

I'm not upset or anything, I'm glad it was just 1.5 bitmil and not 1.5 bitCOIN haha. But I would like to make sure that this is noted, because it was a pretty major issue. I'm not sure if its happened to anyone else yet but I would appreciate having someone get back to me. My username in the game is Mush, but I don't play all that often.
Thanks!

Hey, Mushroomized,

I've accidentally bet on plants in DT and messaged Di and he actually gave me my money back.  For that reason, I suspect that he just didn't see your message or it fell off his radar before he saw you again.  I'm also pretty sure that if it had been 1.5 bitcoin you would have gotten a response.  The game can be pretty slow and weirdly unresponsive, but I don't think it's actually buggy, just cluncky.   That's been my experience anyway.

Also, I know what you're talking about with that "message a game master" menu item.  I've always just contacted Di in game with "/message Di [your message here]" in the chat box and he's eventually replied to me (as I said, even when I was actually at fault he's given me grace and refunds).

I want to second the /message di message thing. It's how I've had to get a hold of him as well. Also note that it's easy to miss his responses... they show up in the notifications when you first log in.

Hey everyone. Please if you're interested in information about the work, contact me on jabber. I don't want to discuss here as it's somewhat sensitive.

To answer some of the other questions:

-There are no "work hours." You can complete the tasks whenever you want.
-There are no requirements for the job, however being skilled in some of the following things will be a plus:
    -Typing
    -Computers in general
    -Fast internet speed
Sounds like a get paid to solve captchas or what you call "data entry" job. :O

This is exactly what I thought of first, too. Those three things all threw me straight to "captcha."
