3381  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bible describes Americans by the term 'Serpent' on: June 08, 2017, 05:43:09 PM

If I believed in God I'd think that the Bible describes the coming of Trump and his supporters. Trump is the curse of America. I don't believe in predictions. Anyone can write about how he sees the future and maybe someday it will happen and it will be considered as a predictor.

Argument like this was also put forward during the time of Obama by illustrating him as the beast that would bring the world to an end especially during the heightened discussions about Obama care but he came and left but nothing of such. The Bible has highlighted several things that will happen and whether we like it or not, it will come to pass and I don't think we are in the position to determine how God will bring his word to pass. What if its going to come from Russia or Italy or even North Korea.
3382  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SOCCER: AFRICAN FOOTBALLERS AND HEART ATTACKS IS THERE ANY RELATION on: June 08, 2017, 05:05:26 PM
Its really unfortunate that series of death that have happened in recent times for footballers is really coming from the African side. In as much as its cannot be directly linked but at the same time, it calls for deep reflection of what is really going on which I feel its unconnected to preexisting health conditions that have been existing even before they made their way to European countries in looking for greener pastures. Hopefully, this can be abated and things will take a good turn.
3383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is winning the Race - Bitcoin or Paypal? on: June 08, 2017, 04:19:14 PM
In this quarter I am sure bitcoin will be winning simply because of the flexibility however in other places I am sure they will go for PayPal simply because they control fraud and can even get you your money back and not only that, anyone who is trying to outsmart them, the account is banned and by so doing put of the business of scamming people but bitcoin, that is one deficiency even to the point of a tainted coin which does not stop any transfer of coins from one account to the other.
3384  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will the next correction/dip be? on: June 08, 2017, 02:39:17 PM
We're experiencing an amazing growth to almost $3000,- today, but we all know that it will have some corrections here and there.

How much do you think it will drop? <$2000,-? $2000-$2500?
or maybe $2500-$3000,-

Whether it drops or not or even to a an amount lower that what we have up there does not matter but what matters is the reaction of the people to it. If the reaction is like " its one of those periods" then we are bouncing back in no distant time which is something I am sure of. But on the other hand if its where the confidence is lost, and the prophets of doom succeeds then I see a further dip which might take longer period to recover.
3385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to 2000$ on: June 08, 2017, 02:15:56 PM
Bitcoin going deep again.. sell now, buy later! watch up order books on tradeblocks https://www.tradeblocks.io/#btc

I understand your basis for people to sell but you forgot that every situation presents its own opportunity and that's why myself and others who believe in it will buy now then wait. By the time others see, we will force the price up again due to the forces of demand and supply then sell by that time you will be counting your losses.
3386  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST BITCOIN WALLET FOR ANDROID on: June 07, 2017, 04:45:10 PM
Ever since I started using the android version of blockchain wallet I have not heard any issue and its equally flexible with the current price update on the side. This has saved the stress of having to click on confirmation mails every time I need to check my balance and I am comfortable using it and equally recommend to anyone who might be interested. When you can have access to internet you have control.
3387  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslims, Terror and the Front Page! on: June 07, 2017, 02:54:23 PM
Way to go Muslims!

Ten threads on the front page of this section!

Get your religion talked about by the whole world!

All it takes is terror and suicide bombings, rapes and murders!

Every one gets you on the front page! Then you can chatter about how "It wasn' really Muslims" and "Islam's not like that"

You've got Islam on the front page, just where you wanted it.

In as much as you are not totally correct, I find it hard to correct you because current happenings will prove otherwise and even with the recent that happened in London and the same excuse we get is what you have rightly highlighted rather than outright condemnation of such actions among other things that could be done. But no you won't see or hear any thing of such. Hopefully government can live upt to expectations and make us all safe.
3388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin not multi level marketing? on: June 07, 2017, 02:33:09 PM
I would add that its a myth to think bitcoin is an MLM because people just focus in the increasing side if bitcoin without understanding the reasons for the increase and are not bothered about learning of what leads to it and the moment there is a crash, they won't even wet their appetite with knowledge they conclude that its what they hold true that eventually happened. But to me, if there is any MLM that have stayed this long and have a technology that backs it up, that have attracted the interest of government of countries or even committees are set up to make better, then that is when we can begin to compare bitcoin with MLM.
3389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 07, 2017, 12:54:54 PM
I am living in a still-considered as a third world country which kinda suit me because the standard of living here is still low and we can easily afford all the necessities of life and even some luxuries here and there. Money here goes a long, long way at least compared to developed countries like USA or Japan for that matter.

It is then good to retire here most especially if you have the money in your purse. Now, I am planning to set aide even just 1 Bitcoin as part of my retirement plan...of course it is just part of the mix as I am also into cacao/mango/coconut farming which can also serve me well when I am retired.

Do you think 1 Bitcoin can be good for retirement...let's say 20 years from now?

Considering the economic situation of the country you painted there, I am sure the price of btc today will mean a lot to you over there which might equally not cheap to get considering the factors raised above. My contribution is that if you can afford it without altering your economic condition, then go for it and wait but don't rely and not make provision for the future again because no ones know the future and it will be better to have surplus when it comes to income than deficit.
3390  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will bitcoin be worth in 5 years {2020} ? on: June 07, 2017, 09:42:26 AM
By 2020 the possibility of bitcoin going to a new time high is very much possible considering the various encouraging news happening both offline and online even with the Blockchain  technology getting accepted here and there. However, we should not oblivious of the fact that as opportunities abound so likewise challenges in bitcoin which rallies around acceptance, dominance, as well as competition in which quite a number of people will not be happy about. So, we should be cautious in making unnecessary projection into the future.
3391  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin credit card? on: June 07, 2017, 07:50:29 AM
Bitcoin debit card is still very much possible but not credit card. The reason for bitcoin in the first place was borne out of the failure of the banking system which cannot be unlinked to the fact that people get to spend more than what they have as a result of credit card thereby throwing the whole world into financial crises which I believe might face bitcoin if that should happen considering the fact that tracing people to redeeem their debt will likely be impossible.
3392  Economy / Speculation / Re: What could cause price of bitcoin to crash?? on: June 07, 2017, 06:49:18 AM
There are several reasons that could make the price of bitcoin crashes and among such reasons will include in my opinion,

1. If someone so knowledgeable identifies a bug in bitcoin and all the things we have come to believe about bitcoin was proven beyond reasonable doubt to be a myth of a false believe then I see the price coming crashing.

2. Another reason is if a all the banks decide not to aid bitcoin, then it makes it worthless since it will no longer be able to convert to fiat and vice versa. New entrants will find it difficult to lay their hands on one while those owning cannot convert to fiat considering the fact that a not all major stores accept bitcoin.
3393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that the USA sytem of consumption is dumb on: June 06, 2017, 09:14:44 PM
Strong figures:
http://time.com/8740/federal-reserve-debt-bankrate-consumers-credit-card/

The economic model of USA is: buy buy buy buy buy buy buy and maybe think a bit after
That's the reason of the 2008 crisis, Americans were pushed by banks and real estate agents to take 3 times the debt they could afford.

Well people are continuing to do it.
I don't know when it's going to hit, but it'll hit reaaaaaally hard.

Stop with this stupid overconsumption. Just stop. Capitalism isn't working, stop it before it's too late.

Even if the bank is encouraging people to get more loans I believe you are not under compulsion to go beyond your means as this boils down to the issue of self control in terms of finances which is obvious what Americans are lacking. But capitalism does not mean over consumption as they are completely opposite from my point of view while one seeks to ensure individuals reach their maximum capacity, the other is borne out of quest for what is beyond your reach.
3394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Not To Get Stabbed (Domestic Terror) on: June 06, 2017, 01:04:53 PM
Its unfortunate that things have gotten to this point where one will have to start learning all this mechanisms just because some set of people are fighting the government that you might not even help installed but unfortunately be part of their citizens and also because the government that is responsible for protecting you has equally failed in that responsibility. My grouse is against the terrorist, I am not against your argument for fighting but for goodness sake take it against those who wronged you and those are the ones in power and stop harming innocent civilians who probably don't know what's going on and whose killing will not even influence the already actions of government.
3395  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: June 06, 2017, 10:31:01 AM
I think the admin of the site does get some donations from users that like the site service and from the amount of donations collected, the admin are still able to handle the transaction fees but in my opinion as the site gets more and more popular in the future, more donations might be needed to handle the huge volume of transaction fees.

It has been cleared and even said several times that the main source if income is not the donation and the moment the donation is not commensurate with the costs being incurred, then collects fees will be levied for users which is something I feel is the right to do for a mixing service giving control to private keys which is something not common around here.
3396  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will it happen? on: June 06, 2017, 10:00:54 AM
The time I've decided to earn bitcoin is when I have heard that bitcoin might be the future currency of these world. Bitcoin will be a payment to shops where you can pay without pulling out your wallet and just scan their QR code. Pay a coffee just by scanning a QR code, but we are not realizing these way of paying little by little is slipping away from us. With the price and the problem of transacting using bitcoin, how far are we from these way of using bitcoin?
For me I would either say the time for that is either still far or say it has passed. Passed in the sense that how much will I pay for coffee when the transactions fees to pay will even be more than the cup of coffee itself and the duration of time, I will definitely needs to deposit my I. D and then collects it when the transaction eventually confirms. On the other hand still far because for that to happen it will mean its been accepted as a legal tender which is still far from being achieved from the present moment we are currently.
3397  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: if someone provide me Sr.member account i will pay to them .005 btc on: June 06, 2017, 07:51:21 AM
have anyone Sr.member account to provide me then i will pay .005 btc .

First thing first is when joining a forum the best is to understand how things are done the right way before jumping into things which is clearly what you have done. In as much that there is buying and selling of account, there is a right subsection meant for that on the forum. Aside that, a Snr Member account will earn an average of .021 depending on the campaign which is like 400% of what you are offering. And that send a signal to be weary of anyone who wants to sell to you at that amount.
3398  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS BITCOIN GOING BACK DOWN? on: June 06, 2017, 06:09:26 AM
WHAT IS THE HONEST OPINION OF EVERYONE HERE?

WILL WE SEE A DIP BACK DOWN TO THE 1,500 RANGE OR NAAH??

SPEAK ON IT.

Most of this volatility is just normal for bitcoin and it does not worth stressed over simply because its temporary which is something that have come to stay with bitcoin at least for now until when we have enough entrants and the people coming in are not as much to change the market order. I am sure looking at the price now at this moment will give credence to this.
3399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation about this month bitcoin price on: June 05, 2017, 09:19:38 PM
Today June 01, 2017 bitcoin price in $2375.79 or bitstamp.net price $2374.44
What happen end of this month?
Why would anyone even begin to get bothered by the price of bitcoin on a particular day when we all know that in the next one hour that price might have gone further down or even goes up again and all the discussions over this with not even be valid again. If you don't understand on how the bitcoin price works or the factors behind it, just stay on the sideline and let the market decide the direction you will go.
3400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you enjoying the crazy Bitcoin price rise? on: June 05, 2017, 09:09:12 PM
I would say the feeling is missed for me because of the fact that I had sold some of the ones I had before the price surge which means a loss for me at the same time I have bought some at the time of the low price and this has equally increased significantly which means a profit for me. But on the issue of fees, this is something I actually care less about so far I can get my transaction fast and timely anytime I want to engage in such.
