361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Whitepapers to Read as a Beginner? on: April 05, 2023, 03:16:56 PM
I find myself reading Whitepapers and barely understanding any of the technical languages or being able to formulate any form of assessment. I was hoping anyone would have recommendations for me and/or others on this forum to read to truly gauge many of the concepts and technicality.

I think it is quite normal for someone that is not familiar with IT and that is not a programmer or coder himself to not understand all those formulas, equations and symbols that are often used in a technical whitepaper. It will not really help you to read other technical whitepapers in my opinion. To really understand all those equations you basically would need to study IT and programming for a few years or at least a few months. I don't think though, that it is really necessary to have profound coding knowledge in order to be able to get a feeling if a project has potential or not. There are many other things stated in whitepapers that should be understandable for everyone. Like the problem that the team wants to solve, the way they want to solve that problem, the roadmap and the tokenomics for example.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 05, 2023, 10:01:59 AM
I think the German Cup matches are different in importance to the Bundesliga matches. It is probably difficult for Bayern to compete in three competitions at once and they favour the Champions League and Bundesliga. I have no other explanation for their loss. Soon we will see how they play against Freiburg again and then we can make conclusions.

I think that the match against Freiburg in the cup yesterday was a very important match for Bayern Munich. So they definitely tried their very best in order to win this match and to advance into the semi final of the DFB cup. Bayern has failed to reach the semi-final of the cup now 3 years in a row, which is quite extraordinary given the fact that Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the country. Also they definitely have a squad that has enough quantity and especially quality in order to compete for every title there is.
The reason why Bayern lost yesterday is quite simple. Freiburg defended very well, in the second half the game most of the time looked more like handball than football because Bayern made so much pressure. Still Freiburg stayed calm and defended and then they had the luck of that last minute penalty.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 05, 2023, 09:58:18 AM
I do not have any investment in Doge yet but am thinking about it.
I am looking for investments that will 5-10x next bull run and looks like this is a good bet considering it's all time high is $0.70.
Many say it will go past $1 next bull run and it could well do but think I would get out around $0.70 which would be a 7x if I was to invest at todays price of $0.10.
Would be good to hear some views on this - are you for or against Doge?

I am not an investing expert, but my personal opinion is, that there are a lot of crypto projects out there, that have a higher chance to make a x5 or a x10 in the next bullrun than Dogecoin. First of all i think the timing to invest now into Dogecoin is pretty bad because it just made that 30% increase in terms of the price in the last few days after Musk has used the Dogecoin symbol as the Twitter logo.
So as long as there are no new PR stunts that Elon Musk is doing for Dogecoin i don't really see it doing another price pump from here on out. Once a real bull market starts Dogecoin will obviously also begin to rise again but not as fast as most other altcoins in my opinion.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 04, 2023, 08:03:04 PM
While it still applied, you can directly visit https://twitter.com/ to see it. Or if it already changed, here is the archive: https://archive.is/flHAn
As per CoinGecko, it is up almost 20%, in the meantime. Upon checking further, I can not find any news regarding it. Does anyone know the reason behind it? Does Elon just playing around?
Or is it has something to do with the matter of Elon's lawsuit in regard to market manipulation with Dogecoin?
It's tuesday evening now, at least here in europe and so far the Dogecoin logo is still up on twitter, so it seems like this maybe could stay that way for a few more days or maybe even longer, who knows. I already wrote this in another thread, but i really don't like it, that it is enough, to post the Dogecoin logo on a famous website to make a project that is among the top 10 crypto projects pump more than 30%. This just is another proof, at least for me, that the crypto market as a whole is by far no mature market yet and i am afraid, that serious investors from outside the crypto world are put off by stuff like that.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 04, 2023, 06:25:54 PM
This week again there are important matches that could be decisive for the course of the league. The first match is freiburg-bayern Munich and the second is dortmund-union berlin. Both matches will be between the top 4 teams. Many things will change after these matches. Both the teams in the championship race and maybe leipzig will move up to the 4th place to go to the champions league.
True, this will be a match that will probably determine their next move, for better or not. I am very happy to see this kind of competition in the standings. All teams have the same opportunity to be in a better place, no one dominates without weaknesses, this makes the league run very competitive compared to the previous season where only Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund managed to take over the league.

You are wrong actually. Both games that he mentioned are actually the matches on the weekend in the Bundesliga. Of course it is pretty easy to get confused because the match between Bayern Munich and SC Freiburg is happening twice within 5 days now. Today in Munich in the DFB cub and then on Saturday in Freiburg in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin are not playing each other in the DFB Pokal though. Union Berlin just lost to Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund will play against RB Leipzig tomorrow.
The match of Dortmund vs. Union is only happening on the weekend in the Bundesliga.

These names mentioned are still under consideration but I think Julian Nagelsmann is the bookmakers' favourite to replace Graham Potter. He is viewed as one of the most progressive young coaches in world football and has a number of admirers in England. But after seeing Chelsea sack two managers already this season, the club's level of expectation is set to be an important consideration for managers. Imo any replacement is welcome, but it will not change Chelsea's fate. Having an owner who puts fingers into everything and buys players like in a virtual game will stagnate progress.

I don't follow the premier League that closely but i think it was about time that Chelsea fired Potter because the team simply did not deliver at all and there was no progression to be seen at all. Regarding the potential next coach of Chelsea. I personally think, that it would be a way less risky move for Chelsea to sign Pottechino than to sign Nagelsmann. Pottechino has proven, that he can coach big clubs of the premier League and the spurs probably were at their peak during his years. Nagelsmann on the other hand did not really convince me as a coach of Bayern Munich. Bayern has a great squad this year but still Nagelsmann did not manage to make the team perform on a high level consistently.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprise back!!!! on: April 04, 2023, 10:56:06 AM
Omg some time ago Elon Musk again shocked the cryptocurrency community by changing his Twitter home profile and as the owner of Twitter which became the symbol of Doge Coin, now Doge has increased by 24% recorded today at https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dogecoin there is always this behavior of influential people.
Do you think Elonmusk's movement can make Doge return to the moon?

According to coinmarketcap Dogecoin is up 30% now in comparison to yesterday so that last joke of Elon Musk definitely had a pretty big impact on it's price. To be honest i don't really know what to think about this stuff. I mean of course Elon Musk is probably one of the most influential persons on the planet right now and twitter is a very important platform, but if it is enough to jokingly replace a company logo with a logo of a cryptocurrency to make that project, which is among the top 10 in terms of marketcap, pump more like 30% withing a day, then this just shows to me again that the whole crypto market can still not be taken serious at all.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2023, 06:04:10 PM
Kobel's own goal made in the 13th minute really seemed to make the mentality of other Dortmund players decline, so it's no wonder Muller was able to score 2 goals in the first half until finally in the first half Bayern were already 3-0 up. but I agree with you, in the second half dortmund was very able to keep up with the rhythm of the game of the Bayern players until finally two goals were created for dortmund (in 72 and 90 minutes). However, Bayern are hard to beat, they have always been ahead of any other team in the Bundesliga.

I think that Dortmund had a very good start into the game and in the first 5 or 10 minutes of the game they even were the better team. Then that huge mistake of Kobel happened and Bayern went up with 1-0. I think that this one mistake alone should not be enough though to completely destroy the flow of a team that was playing well before. The fact that Bayern scored the 2-0 only a few minutes after the first goal was probably too much for Dortmund then.
I also have to say though, that it does not really mean that much that Dortmund has played better in the second half, because at that point Bayern was already up 3-0 or even 4-0 and therefore they did not really invest to much into the game anymore because the outcome was already decided.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 02, 2023, 12:08:03 PM
It's really hard, Liverpool is better than Chelsea but Real Madrid have beat Liverpool in both legs. So I'm expecting Real Madrid will win with big margins in the first leg since it will played on Real Madrid's home. Chelsea doesn't need to win, they only need to make a draw at their best. Because if they get beaten with big margins, it will affect every players' psychology and think it's impossible to beat Real Madrid.

Even though Liverpool is also having a pretty tough season so far i still agree that they are still way stronger at the moment than FC Chelsea. Therefore it is definitely correct that Real Madrid is the very big favorite in the upcoming Champions League quarterfinal against Chelsea. That being said, i also don't really think that Real Madrid is that strong. The match up against Liverpool was pretty much decided already after the first leg even though Liverpool had a great start into that game so this was overall pretty weird. After their big lead from the first leg it was obviously very easy for Real Madrid to just get that lead over the line in the second leg.
So Real Madrid is definitely the big favorite, but they are also not extremely strong.

Yes, Tuchel successfully made his sweet debut. His first match with Bayern Munich was not only able to give victory but was also able to regain the top of the standings from his rival. But even so, the Bavarian fans must not be complacent, because Tuchel still has to pass other tests, especially in the Champions League.
Tuchel is still being overshadowed by Nagelsmann's success on the European stage. However, if he is able to overcome Manchester City and reach the final, of course Tuchel will become an idol in the city of Munich.

That was a very important victory yesterday both for the club Bayern Munich but also obviously for Thomas Tuchel himself. Just imagine he would have lost his very first match with his new club, they would be 4 points behind Dortmund now. Instead they are now 2 points ahead of them again. That being said, that was not really Thomas Tuchels victory yesteray. He only had 1 or 2 training sessions with his new team therefore he had almost not time to make big adjustments to the system or stuff like that.
Still i would say, that the defense of Bayern looked more stable yesterday and a player like Anthony Davies played more defensively than he did under Nagelsmann.

Xavi is about to lose his young player Gavi and there is the chance for another player to have the same situation or they even have to decrease their salaries because of the situation they have in Barcelona they cannot pay the salaries to some players, and their Messi can be a life saver however Messi will surely ask for high salary depending in his quality which can be challenging for Barcelona to hire this player.

I don't understand how anyone can still think, that there is even a minimal chance, that Lionel will come back to FC Barcelona. The only reason why he left Barca 2 years ago was the fact that Barca already was in big financial trouble back then and they simply could not afford to play the extremely high salary for him. He probably could have stayed at Barca back then if he would have been happy with a lower salary but he did not want to do that.
Now the financial situation of Barca is not better, maybe even worse than two years ago and i doubt that Messi will play for a salary that FC Barcelona could afford to pay. I think it should have the highest priority for Barca now to get rid of their huge debts even if it means that they have to sell a few good players.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 01, 2023, 06:26:58 PM
Bayern’s record on head-to-head game wins with Dortmund just keep increasing. 4-1 and they’re still showing potential of scoring more goals is enough to conclude that Bayern will win this match and they’ll always be better off Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Tuchel's debut game is excellent, as expected. I hope he maintains his good form with the team for a long time in the club.

The match has ended just now and the final score is 4-2 for Bayern. Bayern was up with 4-0 pretty early in the second half and they even had a few more good chances to score even more goals but then they gave away two goals to Borussia Dortmund in a totally unnecessary way. First the foul of Gnabry which led to the penalty and then another weird goal. In the end though it was a totally deserved win for Bayern Munich. They had chances to score even more goals.
Of course it was pretty lucky for Bayern because the first goal was a huge mistake by the goalkeeper of Dortmund but i think the BVB can really not complain about being unlucky in this season overall.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 01, 2023, 04:18:40 PM
You are correct, the bundesliga winner will not be decided in the der Klassiker today, if Dortmund win they will have an advantage of only 4 points, if Bayern Munich will, they will have an advantage of 2 points, so there is still a chance for any of them to win the league no matter what happens in today's der Klassiker match. But the game is going to help the winner very much, it will keep the winner on the top of the table and they will have the bigger chance of winning the league after this matchweek at least.

The match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund that is starting in a few minutes is definitely the most important Bundesliga this season and probably also in the last few years. At least in regard to the fight for the title of Bundesliga champion. The other matches between the BVB and Bayern in the recent years were not as important because in most cases Bayern was already leading with a lot of points back then. Now Dortmund is in front of Bayern.
So if Dortmund manages to win today against Bayern then they definitely have a big advantage because they are then 4 points ahead with only 8 more matches to play. Still Bayern is the big favorite for me to win today.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 01, 2023, 04:13:43 PM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.
What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?

In general i agree. In the recent years since i follow the crypto markets the pattern was always the same or at least similar. First the price of Bitcoin began to rise for a few weeks or so and once that rise ended and the prices of Bitcoin began to stabilize on a new way higher level than before the big altcoins started to also rise in terms of the price. A few weeks after that even the small altcoins began to pump.
I am not sure though, if we are already at that point though with Bitcoin. At the moment we are still nowhere near earlier highs of the Bitcoin price. So for me it is to early to call this a real bull market yet and we need a bull market for an altcoin season.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2023, 10:30:38 PM
Messi's salary maybe not a problem for Barcelona, the problem is Messi's interest to come back to Barcelona. Is there a statement from Messi that he has the intention to come back to Barcelona as a professional player? I never heard about this, so I assume he won't think to come back again to Barcelona. He wants a new challenge and he will end his career in another club.

Dude, don't you know that FC Barcelona is in huge financial trouble. They even had to register Gavi as a junion player again because the prolonging of his contract which they did on February was declared as not valid by a court because then Barca would not be within the limit of the salary cap that they are having.
So to say that FC Barcelona would not have a problem to pay the extremely high salary for Messi is just completely wrong. It was Messis extremely high salary demands, that were the reason in the first place why he has left Barcelona. He could have stayed if he would have been happy with a way lower salary but he did not agree to that.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2023, 10:22:58 PM
It's really unfortunate, even though this match they excelled in every way, but on the other hand, Bochum's performance was also very good in defense. I appreciate what Riemann did in this match because he made several crucial saves in this match. On the other hand, their defense is also quite strong because they even saved almost all of their players to survive this match.

Eintracht Frankfurt was definitely extremely unlucky to not win the match today against Bochum. Frankfurt had 20 shots and 74% ball possession and still they did not manage to score more than one goal. So in the end it was not only bad luck but of course also missing efficiency on the side of Frankfurt. This match today just proves again for me, that momentum and confidence is a very important factor in football. Frankfurt has a pretty bad run in the last few weeks with the two losses against Napoli in the Champions League and also 5 Bundesliga games in a row that they could not win. If this match today would have happened a few months ago they definitely would have won it, but at the moment it is just not working out for them.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2023, 07:01:27 AM
Mason mount continue to be linked with Liverpool and Tuchel’s Bayern Munich side. Mount is out of contract with Chelsea in 2024 and talks have stalled over a new long-term deal for the 24-year-old. I think this unsettling is because he’s one of the lowest-paid senior players in Chelsea and wants a salary similar to his England teammates. Chelsea are reluctant to smooth things out with him and this could force Chelsea to sell Mount this summer if a breakthrough isn’t reached, rather than losing him for free at the end of next season.

I just checked the stats and if it is true what you are saying and the officials of FC Chelsea do not want to pay him a salary as high as he team mates, then i just simply can not understand that. Looking at the current market value alone then Mason Mount is the second most valuable player of the whole squad with 65 M€, so according to that he definitely would deserve to earn as much as his team mates.
I am not sure though if he really is an option for Bayern Munich. Mason Mount is an offensive midfield player and looking at the squad of Bayern then they already have Sane, Gnabry, Musiala, Coman and Müller there. So if none of their current players is leaving then there is simply no room for Mount in my opinion.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinions of future in Crypto with AI technology? on: March 31, 2023, 06:55:10 AM
AI is the biggest thing that we all faced in 2023 I think. With chatgpt it became everyone attention. I have seen lot of crypto projects that are marketing they are using AI technologies in their projects. So what do you think about this? Are they really using AI or is it for market themselves? Because I don't find anything about AI technologies that they are talking In their websites or whitepapers.

Do you suggest me good projects that using AI technologies for study? What is in your bucket list and what are your opinions about AI + Crypto in future?

I don't know but i am not really convinced, that the whole AI narrative is really the next huge thing, especially in crypto. I mean back in November or Dezember of 2022 when ChatGPT was first released and everyone was surprised how good the quality of it's answers were most of the time, there definitely was a big hype for AI within the crypto community too. As always with big hypes and trends, new crypto projects that were focused on AI where created back then to hop on the hype train. Obviously those projects mostly only had AI in their name and were only created to earn some quick money from naive investors because a "real" projects needs development time.
At the moment i feel that the whole AI narrative is not so in the focus anymore.

Manchester United are interested in another centre-forward who is Kolo Muani according to the news. However I don't think he would be their priority. He has been one of the skilled youngsters as it seems and he has been impressive in the recent times. Because he isn't only a scorer. He is very helpful for his teammates with his assists as well. It isn't easy to find a centre-forward like this these days. However like I said I still don't think Manchester United would prioritize him for their striker target.

There are top strikers who might be signed in the summer like Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and more like these strikers. These players should be on their radar first.

Kolo Muani is probably one of the biggest newcomers in this season so far. He was playing very well for Eintracht Franfurt in the first phase of the season and during the World cup in Qatar in this winter the broad audience became aware of him, because he played quite a few minutes in the final of the world cup and he even had the huge chance to score the game winner for France only a few minutes before the end of the extra time.
Since the world cup he does not play as well as before, but that is also because his whole team is not really in the best shape at the moment. So i think that Kolo Muani really has the potential to be one of the best strikers of the coming decade. That being said, the manager of Frankfurt said, he would not even let him go if he is offered 100 M€ for him.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop gains tracker on: March 30, 2023, 06:20:19 PM
Since airdrops started to become trending nowadays. For example, you will get free tokens from the different projects while just participating in any activities on their platform, just like recently what happened to the Arbitrum network.
I want to see a list of them with different information like how much the price started to trade when they airdropped the tokens, how much has already increased since the airdrop of the price, etc.
I tried to google, but I can't find any, maybe I'm using the wrong keywords  Cheesy.

Any idea? Like website/platform that got information like these?

I am personally not an airdrop hunter and even though i knew that there might be a possible arbitrum airdrop and that most likely the people would get an airdrop that were using the arbitrum blockchain before a certain deadline i did not do any trades or swaps on Arbitrum and therefore i obviously also did not get any Arb tokens.
Still i know a few twitter channels that are providing lists of possible airdrops and even instructions on what to do and sometimes even video tutorials how to do it. At the moment it seems like zksync is the next big target for airdrop farmers, but to be honest i don't think that this airdrop will have a value that is even close to the one of Arb, because there are just too many airdrop hunters now.
