According to the website FCBInside, Bayern Munich is interested to buy Manuel Koné from Borussia M'Gladbach, also a Bundesliga team. The clubs wants him as a "holding six" before the defense a position that coach Tuchel believes is currently not well-filled. The website also states that Bayern is not interested in Joao Palhinha from FC Fulham anymore for this position, because Fulham wants to much money for him.

@tyz, @bct_ail

385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google and X ads are the new weapon for crypto scammers on: December 27, 2023, 12:37:20 PM
This is nothing new. Outside of crypto sites, advertising fraud is already a big problem on Google Ads. In the last few months I have clicked on ads from supposedly large companies several times (even the domain was identical) and then ended up on some scam site. Google has become very lax when it comes to checking such ads. This will certainly also happen with crypto advertising that is permitted again, probably even on a larger scale. There is a good article about this.

Is it possible to buy ARRR on a decentralized exchange like the Komodo DEX?
All exchanges in my research that list ARRR or where you can trade the coin are central, such as CoinEx, Gate.io or FMFW.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 27, 2023, 11:44:21 AM
Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

I've read posts like this before and I always wonder what such users want to say. There are three reasons why you gamble. Firstly, you try your luck because you don't have a lot of money at the moment and you want to try to make a lot out of a little. But the probabilities speak against it. Secondly, you have too much money and don't know what to do with it. When you're bored, you simply gamble with it in the casino. For most people it actually doesn't matter whether you win or lose, simply because they don't care about the money. Third, you're addicted. Then it's an addiction, but certainly not fun. In the end you usually lose either way, unless you are actually very lucky.
388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some altcoins with low transaction fees that I can use to buy stuff? on: December 27, 2023, 11:39:16 AM
It doesn't make sense to exchange Bitcoin for shitcoin because you still have to pay high fees for that transactions, unless you already have coins on centralized exchange, and I don't recommend that.

Swapping services within an app mostly cost much less transaction fees than exchanging coins the normal way. For this reason, transaction costs are not necessarily the decisive criterion. However, as you wrote, Lightning is also an option if it is offered by crypto payment providers, but this has not been the case with all providers I have seen so far.

391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some altcoins with low transaction fees that I can use to buy stuff? on: December 26, 2023, 01:23:49 AM
I want to spend some crypto on some online purchases but bitcoin fees are way too high right now for that. I see that a lot of other coins are accepted on various sites, which ones have lowest transaction fees?

There are many altcoins with low fees, but only a few are accepted by crypto payment providers like Bitpay which can be integrated in shops. I would strongly recommend to use Litecoin. It is accepted by many shops/payment providers and has very less fees (depends how busy the network is, but usually fees are less than 0.5 cent per transaction).
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was your crypto journey this year? on: December 26, 2023, 01:17:23 AM
I am also following this all as I love to stick for the long-term investment because mostly in short term or jumping into pumps and dumb we have serious problems but after few early loses, I have good lesson and now not doing any experiment just holding stuff for the long term which is giving good reward with good stability for my future as well.

80% of my investment is already settled for long term and other mostly I try few things which sometime works and some not, but these things never create any harm for me or my portfolio which is good lesson for me after having few big loses in early years of my investment in crypto.

I think most people who are a bit longer in crypto made this experience. At the beginning everyone tries to chase the next big coin and invests in a various of amount of different coins which are praised from random people. But if you've been around for a longer time in crypo space, you'll eventually realize that the really successful way is to simply hold on to the good quality coins.

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was your crypto journey this year? on: December 25, 2023, 09:40:38 PM
2023 wasn't all bad for the crypto market. The crypto world underwent numerous changes; new technologies emerged, the market experienced declines and sudden eruptions, and governments implemented various rules.

It was a year filled with excitement, akin to a Bollywood movie. Some crypto exchanges went bankrupt, leading to numerous legal battles. Personally, I faced multiple liquidations while trading futures—aha!

On the positive side, I experienced growth. I learned about ICT and SMC concepts, took courses on risk management and trading psychology, and added some altcoins to my portfolio.

I sticked with my long term investments and did not really bought a notable amount of new coins (only a few alts to speculate with).
The hodling paid off and the performance was more than I hoped for. Next year will be exciting when the halving takes place. Before the event, I will position myself with a few strategic investments, as in the past this has always been a good opportunity to make nice profits.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 25, 2023, 09:35:55 PM
Bayer Leverkusen is doing very well in the Bundesliga this year. They have now won 13 in 16 matches and drawn the remaining 3 matches. I think the fact that they had no defeats in the league was enough to prove Leverkusen's strength to us this year. There is currently almost no point difference between them and Bayern because Bayern has played one match less. Despite this, they are very focused on the league with a great example of struggle. Xabi has leveled up the team.

The entire club did a good job pre-season. The player purchases were all well done and very well thought out. And Alonso did a great job of turning the players into a well-functioning team.

However, it will be exciting to see what things look like after the winter break. Some of Bayer's top players will travel to the Africa Cup of Nations and then it will become clear whether the second line of players can maintain the current level or not.

397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: December 25, 2023, 09:22:23 PM
After some time of less activity here in the forum, I will now be regularly active again. For this reason, I'm thinking about redesigning this thread or even restarting it from scratch. I'm just wondering in which format I should do this, since Bitcoin and crypto are now anchored in the mainstream and there are a lot of mentions in films/series, unlike when I started the thread a few years ago .

Do you have any ideas on how to start a new thread? Should the list still be in the OP or should I keep an external list (e.g. Google Spreadsheets) to have the opportunity to sort/filter? Or should we no longer keep a list at all and just continue the course of the thread with the mentions as documentation?

399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you recommend reliable virtual credit card for paying bills (no KYC) on: December 25, 2023, 09:13:24 PM
Can you recommend reliable virtual credit card (no KYC) for paying bills and just to throw it out there maybe even considering setting up paypal only if I have to. No KYC.

As far as I know, there are currently no more virtual debit cards that you can use to pay without KYC. A few years ago there were many of such cards that could be used without KYC up to a certain daily or monthly limit. Since a lot of fraud has been carried out as a result, the providers (Mastercard, Visa) do not allow giving out (virtual) cards without knowing their customers anymore.
