Are De Bruyne and Witsel playing today? Odds on Belgium are really attractive but I'll wait for the lineup before deciding what to bet on. Handicap win has really good odds, but if Belgium is without both De Bruyne and Witsel, I'd be tempted to go for a draw.
Don't care much if Witsel is playing, I feel like they can replace him without much problems. Even without De Bruyne, Belgium should have more than enough fire power to win against Denmark without Eriksen. I am not expecting him to start the match even if he is ready. Belgium can allow themselves to play it safe and keep him for knockout rounds. Maybe just give him last 20 minutes to feel the pitch and atmosphere.

Indeed. Belgium has so many talented players that Witsel and DeBruyne can be replaced and the difference won't be so big between the players.

But until then , do you guys see how great Ukraine is playing ? It was no coincidence that they scored twice against Belgium because they already have 2-0 against North Macedonia and I think they will score 2 more.

Belgium has had a large number of very good players for such a small country for years. It's not for nothing that people talk about the golden generation. But so far this golden generation has not won anything and for many this tournament is the last chance. There are some players coming up but the question remains if they will be as good as DeBruyne and other current top players.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: June 16, 2021, 02:16:42 PM
I had 3k on pancakeswap and did almost 4x now is return to break even.
I had Ethereum 4.7 now its 2k
I had ada $2 now is 1.5
Also I lost in ogn

I lost a lot of money on crypto more than 8000$

First of all, you're lucky you don't have a loss since you bought pretty expensive. That's never a good advice. Second, you haven't lost anything. Because you only have profits when you realize them. What you write here are pure book profits that are not real profits. If you had sold about 50% at the peak, you would have gained 25% even if you still hold the second part completely.
An important advice I always give to newbies. If you invest in crypto, you have to think beforehand, when will I sell, both when I make profits, as well as when I make losses.

Is it recoverble this year?

No one can say that. A new bear market may also start. The last bear markets lasted about 2-3 years each and had a peak loss of about 90%.

What you guys think about the Finland vs Russia clash today? Russia went down by a big margin to Belgium in the first match (it was expected though, and Belgium is currently no.1 as per the FIFA rankings). On the other hand, Finland had an upset win over Denmark in their first match. If they manage a win today, then they will advance to the playoffs and things will get very difficult for Denmark (they need to beat Belgium). As of now, it looks like Russia will end up at the bottom of Group B.

I think Belgium will win its game against Denmark. I think that the shock of the Danes in the first match will lead to their elimination either already in the group stage or shortly after.
In the game Russia vs. Finland, I see Russia clearly better. They lost heavily against Belgium, but they still played better than Finland against Denmark. Finland was until the event with Eriksen, clearly dominant and would certainly have won the game. After the restart, Finland had taken advantage of the state of the Danes and won the game narrowly. Playfully, however, the Finns have not convinced me.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 07:59:28 AM
"IS MONEY THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL?"

If you believe that money is the cause of all evil, then you should look at the time before there was money as we know it today. The world was much poorer and worse. We always say the same thing about capitalism, but if you look at the statistics, poverty has gone down more and more. I read an interesting scientific article the other day. According to it, in 1990 (at the time of the end of the Soviet Union) 58% of the world population was poor or bitterly poor. In 2020, 30 years later, it is only 12%. And this in a period in which there were several major financial crises.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The SEC announced it will not regulate cryptocurrencies this year on: June 16, 2021, 07:54:49 AM
It's actually good that they don't have to regulate it this year because we can still enjoy more freedom in cryptocurrency for another year. And it's right to have a positive outlook on it because the less the authority is involved in a decentralized platform, the better for the people in it.

Regardless of the decision, the question will be to what extent they can regulate cryptocurrencies at all. Of course, the exchange platforms in fiat currencies can be better regulated, but that is already done in part, see Coinbase and others who have a license to the US market. I think the shift of the decision also comes about because they don't really know how to regulate it.

Two matches today that were so really not expected. Slovakia's 1-2 win over Poland was surprising. It shows that it is not enough for Poland to have a top star like Lewandowski when the rest of the team is mediocre.

Spain also disappointed me tonight. Even though the team is in a state of flux after the years of great success and the retirements of the golden generation, I would have expected more against Sweden.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk say's he'll re-invest in BTC when +50% of ASIC miners are GREEN on: June 14, 2021, 04:07:20 PM
Seriously, WTF does this really mean?

By "green" he means that the ASIC miners are powered by green electricity, which in turn means that the electricity is generated from renewable energy sources, i.e. hydroelectric power, solar power, geothermal power, biogas etc.
I think Elon Musk has a point here because the miners from China - and they are currently the majority in Bitcoin mining - mainly use electricity from environmentally harmful brown or black coal.
Elon Musk also has a reputation to lose. On the one hand, he is celebrated for his environmentally conscious cars, and on the other hand, he supports a technology that uses massive amounts of electricity from environmentally harmful sources.

The most interesting match in this group is going to be England vs Scotland. There is too much bad blood between the two countries and they are facing each other after a gap of 4 years (back in 2017, the world cup qualifier match between the two ended in a 2-2 draw, with Harry Kane equalizing for England in the last minute of injury time). It would be great to have a win by Scotland this time, although I know that it is unrealistic given the current form of the England team. Anyway, I have already marked my calendar for this match on 18th June (this Friday).

It's a difficult one for England, because it's a local rival. You would normally expect a team like England to beat a team like Scotland fairly easily... but with such a fierce rivalry between the two nations, anything can happen.

I looked at the statistics after the game and what is amazing is that they are basically very balanced. But if you watched the game, you had the feeling that England dominated the game. Croatia didn't have a really good chance either, while England had several good ones. If you hadn't seen the game, you could draw the wrong conclusions, because you would think the game was very close and England would have won happily. This is how statistics can be deceiving.
1350  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you investing in crypto currency alone? on: June 13, 2021, 09:42:05 AM
I am curious, Apart from your crypto Holdings, what other investments do you have? Or are you investing in crypto alone?

It's never good to put all your eggs in one basket. That's why crypto is only one part of my investment strategy. I now have the largest part in real assets such as stocks, bonds and real estate, but also a smaller part in precious metals. Crypto is the most speculative part of all my investments, which admittedly, have also brought the biggest return so far, if you look at it since 2013.
1351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please Relax About the FBI News.. on: June 13, 2021, 09:39:13 AM
Bad news will always exist in the crypto world. Every FUD will always haunt everyone in crypto. But the difference is how we respond to it. it is undeniable that the bad news from the FBI has become a frightening specter for some people and eventually causes panic. And this is not good because panic will only cause bad things to happen again.

One thing must not be forgotten in such actions. Crypto is now a multi-trillion business. There is immense interest because of how much money can be made. That's why it's no wonder that when events like this happen, someone always tries to put this in the wrong light. Bitcoin and crypto are no longer a small niche market like they were 5 or 7 years ago when everything was a bit smaller.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 12, 2021, 09:06:45 PM
Danish team's opening game of EURO 2020 ended in a disappointing result. They were the better team on the field, but unfortunately, the better team doesn't always win.
However, that is not the most important thing at this point. I am happy to hear that Ericksen's condition has improved. I wish him the very best.

Denmarks team was probobly in shock in this match after the injury of eriksen but they wanted to continue the game so its their problem mainly for not making a tactic after the injury. Congrats for a surpsing win from finland and thank god eriksen is okay

In my opinion, UEFA should have stopped the match and scored it 0-0 instead. I think both teams would have been better served by that than to play on after what happened. Surely the teams decided to continue, but it was clear that this would no longer be a normal game and then the organizer, UEFA, comes into the obligation! Unfortunately, UEFA did not do that, probably for money reasons!
1353  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcointalk Tippspiel 'EURO 2020 ' sponsored by Bitcasino.io! on: June 12, 2021, 09:02:19 PM

The show must go on, traurig aber wahr Roll Eyes

1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 11, 2021, 09:07:22 PM
Turkey is playing as weak as expected.
They might take the game by surprise with an early goal in the second half never count an underdogs out...NEVER!!

Yes, I don't usually do that. But Turkey simply played badly in the first half and made no effort to take a point or even three points. Italy deserved to win the game 3 to 0 in the end. Turkey had just one shot on goal in the whole game. I think that says it all.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 11, 2021, 07:47:16 PM
The first half is almost over. So far, not the Italy that I expected. Italy is slowly getting better, but Insigne and Chiellini had a great chance to bring Italy in lead. Both failed. Turkey is playing as weak as expected. If the second half goes the same, Italy should win this.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee on: June 11, 2021, 12:16:50 PM
I see a big difference between the two. Not in terms of crypto, they are similar there, although Elon Musk has never let himself be paid for a coin project because he doesn't need to. There are several proofs that McAffee will support anything for a certain amount of money, no matter how bad or dubious a project is. Also McAffee has a criminal record and was wanted by the FBI worldwide. In my opinion, that alone sets him apart from Elon Musk.
1358  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Hash rate crash today? [2021-06-11] on: June 11, 2021, 11:52:01 AM
Interesting!
Does anyone know where the declining hashrate is coming from? Could it be related to the Chinese authorities cracking down on mining farms in China and closing a few overnight? That would be the only explanation for me at the moment!
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some long term projects for holding? on: June 11, 2021, 11:36:10 AM
Any suggestions for tokens that are more trustable and worth holding for 6 months and more? I will do my own research of course.

Six months and more is not really a long-term hodling. Long-term holding means at least 2-3 years. In the past, it has also been shown that this is the time period with which one has virtually never made a loss with the vast majority of projects. Even if you bought coins at the peak in December 2017 and then had a price loss of over 90% with many projects, you would have a big profit, had you held until today.

Odds Comparison: Turkey vs Italy (Group A)
11 Jun 2021 at 19:00 UTC

| Turkey| Draw| Italy|
BetBTC | 8.03| 3.83| 1.53|
Betcoin.ag | 7.6| 3.85| 1.57|
Cloudbet | 8.3| 3.9| 1.55|
Nitrogen | 7.85| 3.76| 1.49|
Sportsbet.io| 8| 3.8| 1.51|
Stake | 7.4| 3.8| 1.56|
TrustDice | 7.6| 3.9| 1.57|

Italy has shown in recent games that they have recovered after missing the World Cup in Russia and have rebuilt the team. Faster than I personally expected. I thought they might need 4-5 years before a generational change took place. Turkey on the other hand has not performed well, so these odds are justified and Italy is also the clear favorite in this game.
