4221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: October 05, 2016, 03:45:38 PM
i dont endorse any religion or beliefs and i dont have a problem with the people who follows any given religion for that matter,if somebody has a problem with me i will deal with him and not because of his religion or his beliefs.

I also dont have any issue whether Muslim, Christian, Pagan, Huduist etc. I try to judge individuals based on their personal behaviour as I dont believe anything or anyone is determined by their religion afterall we were humans first before deciding the path of the religion  to follow. Although, there are some elements in all religions who are all bent on making sure the name of religion is tainted through their various actions and attitude. It goes on and on and cut across religion.
4222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: October 05, 2016, 06:52:08 AM
I already lost much money on gambling and i want win back all my loses and everytime i do that, i always lose and make it worst. That's why i keeps coming back, to win, but always ended with lose.

I observed that most of those who go back in casino or gambling is to chase their losses which in return make them lose more.  In my experience, there is this instance when i played in a poker game where i got lost and i keep on coming back that day until i spend all  my money just trying back to win back what i have lost.  LOL i learned a lesson though, never chase your lost because it will make you lose more.

This is always the issue when one bet more than what he/she can afford to lose and when losses came in you get embittered and want to get back to the gambling site thereby returning to lose more money. On the other hand after a win then there is this feeling that if I can win now, I can win again then coming back comes in and then loses again and the circle continues on and on.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 05, 2016, 06:06:47 AM
Thats weird I have never heard of a gambling site / game that has 0% house
edge. I guess their form of revenue would be advertisements then? Just seems odd
and would be afraid to deposit or win to much that they wouldn't pay.

No doubt that there could be sites which have 0% house edge even though it will be minimal but thats not the issue the issue is how do they now get money to fund their operations and infrastructures, advertisement etc. Because from the look of it without money coming in from this source then its definitely coming from another source which is unknown to many of us. So the issue of trust sets-in.
4224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is fair payment for a thread translation? on: October 04, 2016, 08:14:52 PM
I would say 40-50$ could be considered as fair amount and this is only for the translation , to prevent crappy translation etc... you should make a bonus. If we assume that you are going to let the translators post the translated thread in the local sub-sections then you should give a bonus based on how much post that thread received. (a few cents * amount of posts = bonus) and those who fail to receive a specific amount of posts in their thread won't receive a bounty at all.

This is one way to go because it will be surprising to see translators just translate the topic alone and forget about the thread and no one to monitor it thereby dead on arrival and not even achieved the objective intended.

your ANN thread is kinda long so i would agree to what OmegaStarScream have said though some may only use google translate to shorten their work time so be sure to check it if it is really translated manually

Instead of manually checking if the translation was done by google translate or not, it's simpler to just ask the translator to post the thread in their local subforum, and then message the subforum moderator and ask him/her if the translation standard is sufficient... That way you're sure a native speaker that has sufficient trust has reviewed the translation quality Wink

This is just the cheapest way to go about it even before paying because I could equally just use google to translate without even understanding it one bit and you yourself is not better of because you don't even understand because if you do, you would have done it yourself in other to save cost.
4225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: October 04, 2016, 05:54:43 PM
When sending out some Bitcoins from your wallet, does it feel good? Do you get a nice body high from it?
The feeling I usually get is kind of mixed in the sense that I feel some kind of relief because I usually send out of my wallet whenever I want to convert to FIAT, the kind of I'm going to be a boxed up for a while, on the otherhand the feeling that I might be scammed comes in that turn the relief to sceptisim.
4226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Member account in 0.003 on: October 04, 2016, 05:34:44 PM
In my own way, I think its too cheap for a member account to go for that amount uunless it does not worth jack as others have rightly said then it can go for lesser amount. If any account cannot even earn a signature campaign to even make more than that asking price then to me it does not worth it from what I have even though as a newbie it won't take less than a month to make that rank for it to go for below $2. My thinking
4227  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BITSTARZ.COM - BTC & EUR Casino | Get 200 Free Spins + 5BTC Welcome Package ★ on: October 04, 2016, 11:42:58 AM
Hi yesterday i ask support why they still dont remove scam pocketdice from site.
Guy from support tell me he don't know nothing about pocketdice scam and he cant do nothing.
Remove this scam site from your site! They dont wanna to pay big win's.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1620544.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=356422 (nice trust feedback)

Bitstarz is a scam as well, there are many complaints about double or changing terms when you won big money here. These 2 scams cooperate to scam people money, so that's why they still lists pocket dice there.

Dont know if they really scammed because past few months ago, i play on their site and they paid me out a good amount when i win some amount though. May be this only apply on some big winners. But at that time i didnt activate their bonus too in case something like this will happen some day. Btw does pocketdice have anything to do with bitstarz? Although pocketdice scam you dont need to said it on people thread though

Its really annoying to see what guys are really going through only to make a legitimate and risky income. In addition to being frustrated by those who are to protect the interest of guys from this unethical practice of Bistarz even though other forums that have compromised in handling this matter, I belive a good amount of reputation has been lost because of this and it will take long to recoverfrom that I am sure of.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: October 04, 2016, 11:24:50 AM
I have been in gambling for more than a decade now. I saw many ups and downs regarding gambling statistics and got it as way to become rich at start. There was always balance whenever was making money then loosing. Then I took it as means of making small profits while making money and still results work in cycle. This is not to become rich in my opinion.
I believe every gambler must need a time of 10 years to conclude like gambling is suitable for achieving our dream of becoming rich.

But, some gamblers do get chances of becoming rich by having some profits in some days, but keeping the profits to grow their money is not possible as they are losing it in very next day itself. So, concluding our opinion about gambling will save your current wealth at least.

For me in all the few years of my maturity, in addition to my own gambling I have not seen anyone in my comfort zone who has become rich through gambling although I have read on the internet somewhere far away someone won a jackpot and became rich but not forgetting the number of millions who might have spent their entire adult life trying to win big. In conclusion I am yet to be rich neither have I seen someone rich through gambling.
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 04, 2016, 11:18:09 AM
For me gambling and investment is same, its same that you can lost your bitcoin, cause some other gambling games are not probably fair and almost all bitcoin investments are a scam . but if you want to profit i reccomend you to gamble thst invest cause if you have been scam at lost you feel angry, but if you have been lost at you feel sad cause its your own fault.
Your argument align with mine but I will only deviate a bit, although in both you can lose your money or coins but the risk of losing differs for both in the sense that in gambling the risk is more compared to investment but the bone of contention is getting a relaible investment plan or else its worse than gambling a good due diligence is needed for any cause of action.
4230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many Alts do you expect to survive long term? on: October 04, 2016, 11:05:39 AM
I would add that no one really know the numbers of ALTS that will survive that long because a lot of factors will be responsible for any one to make it that far even as at now a lot of alts that came out with a lot of hype have fizzle out some are still coming and others will continue to come.

One factor that I know wil affect the long term availabilty of any ALT will be support in addition to crowdsale in the establishment of such.
4231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: October 04, 2016, 08:14:04 AM
I was a big gambling addicted in the past and i will say i still addicted a little bit to it but still my gambling can reduced alot since i have started earning a bit in bitcoins. So thats a suggestion that you find other earning oportunity and keep your self busy only in that,so that you dont even get time for the gambling.

I agree with this in all totality because if one have just one source of earning whether good or bad you tend to stay put since you got no other option or believed no other option to try out and the solution to that is to try break out from that one source in this case gambling by expanding the means then you begin to realise "I am even losing more there" then it begins wear out. Not just once but a gradual process.
4232  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: October 03, 2016, 09:39:16 PM
I think in my own opinion, we are not in the position of encouraging them to accept bitcoin, it is the function of government to do that because I know that no business man will want to go against any government law and as LOCAL as they are, they tend to avoid taking any risk of flouting a non-existent law. What I think we can do is to show them the benefits of BITCOIN and why it is in their best interest to accept and they are responsible for whatever follows.
4233  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: October 03, 2016, 06:44:36 PM
Well yes the price of bitcoin surely matters to me and i think to most of the users but still it doesnt affect me that much.It will effect me alot only there is a big change in the price of bitcoin. For small fluctuations it doesnt matter much.

The same way it matters to you, it matters to everyone because the price of bitcoin basically affects our decision whether as a trader, you want to be concerned about the price you want to sell or buy. As a service provider, you want to be sure of the amount you want to price your gigs and the likes even from sig campaigns I want to know how much I will be earning on average. So the price basically determines our decisions and that makes it not only matter but equally important.
4234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: October 03, 2016, 06:30:18 PM
If there was a person who is able to hack bitcoin network, he would have been rich. Rich like 10 billion USD.

1000 btc is very cheap for such a job. More on that, if someone could have hacked bitcoin network, btc's worth would reduced to zero the other day.
thats true, but it is thankfully impossible to hack bitcoins at least right now so we are safe
For now i think we are safe but how about next time we can not sure that bitcoin is very secured . and i think if they already hack bitcoin they dont let other people to know that the bitcoin network was hack so that they can sell bitcoin in the best price..

No one is really sure whether the chain cannot be hacked but I am of the opinion that its possible because I know that someone or group of people built it although its going to be difficult and the prayer is that one or group of them should not compromise and put millions of people investments in jeopardy. Because we seen countries sponsored cyber attacks against another country.

4236  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: October 03, 2016, 05:46:38 PM
No, i'm not. Because there is no shop around my are that accept bitcon, so i can't spend my bitcoins on real life. I need to exhange my bitcoins into fiat first to spend my coins.

Same thing happening to me too over here as there is no single store known over here that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment coupled with the assumptions that anyone dealing with Bitcoin is working in the underworld. So, I am faced with the only option of converting to FIAT before even been able to spend on basic things going through the hurdles of several exchangers and risk of getting scammed.
4237  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: October 03, 2016, 09:47:01 AM
I dont think you should believe into the bitcoin and that is my opinion becuase i know what the price will do in the future and taht would not be very pleased off course.
If you don't believe in bitcoin you will not be here in the first place, I thought those who are members of the community are bitcoin believer. If you will not believe you will not be part of the success of bitcoin and you will not be rewarded.

Same thing from my position over because what are you even doing here if its not for the believe you have in bitcoin or maybe for research purpose.  As for me, since my entry into bitcoin I believe in it and my horizons have been widened with the opportunities it presents and various way of making extra income in a passive way in addition to getting to meet people who are forward minded.
4238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: October 03, 2016, 07:52:52 AM
I don't think this is the right put question. Bitcoin is currency and PayPal is money service, so how can you compare it?
That's the main point, even that is reasonable for comparing both....? we should for making the bitcoin just combining with the paypal system because paypal is just like a wallet and will be more rational if comparing the paypal with such as the coinbase. I guess for comparing currency and wallet it's very wrong.

And any money service can put your ballance at hold at will, at any time. Paypal has some history in doing just so. This is unbearable!

I would choose BItcoin over Paypal any day because of the issue of anonymity present in the latter unlike the former. In as much as this is there Paypal still has this major advantage over Bitcoin because of the issue of being able to reverse transactions and this has protected quite a number of people of being duped of their hard earned resources unlike Bitcoin in which I have personally fallen victim because of this reversibility of transactions and no one to report to.

4239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi reemerge and created a new coin on: October 03, 2016, 07:15:52 AM
That's a legit possibility.

This new coin will probably take many of the innovations that we've seen in other coins.

He can easily prove his identity here on Bitcointalk.

If all this happens, the media coverage for Bitcoin will be at an all time high, and could possibly multiply the current crypto users.

This new coin could probably kill Bitcoin.

This new coin will not kill bitcoin. Bitcoin already has a solid foundation and a good running economy behind it. Any new coin will have a hard time to surpass bitcoin even if Satoshi himself started a new cryptocoin. The market is already established and there are real companies that support it. That is the power of the market and the economy.

Here is a question for you. Despite the leaps and bounds for clean energy why do you think we are still dependent on crude oil?

I totally agree with this your position because even majority of the people have no idea of who Satoshi is but are very conversant with the use of Bitcoin so I dont think it will just kill bitcoin and also I dont think it will affect Bitcoin in any way. Because the exposure we have seen about Bitcoin is not really about Satoshi but about the millions of people who bought into that dream and gave it the necessary infrastructure as well as exposure. The question is will they be ready to do so again?
4240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 03, 2016, 07:10:03 AM

I agree with you, although still there are not many stores who accept bitcoin as payment, but in the future if bitcoin become more famous and many countries adopt it, will many stores use bitcoin.

We have to be realistic here. Others want a fast progress without realizing that a slow process with improvement as time passes by can give better foundation in the future.

Bitcoin will be accepted in most of the stores in the future and that has basis to believe.
Yes, the development of bitcoin is very slow and requires a process that can not progressing very quickly. But I believe that with the process bitcoin will certainly be better and the experience will. Bitcoin is a digital currency new era.

I quite agree that Bitcoin is the new era currency although this might not be achieved very soon but I believe its achievable and the reason for my acceptance is the issue of acceptability of bitcoin in which you will find at least quite a number of people using it in a particular country which means the acceptability cuts across borders and world politics.
