Hi Patrike,
i tried the Linux Client with HiveOS and some AMD W6600 + RX6600XT and the overclocking not working for me. At the moment i set the OC in HiveOS is this the problem?
And i tried the client on Ubuntu 21.10 but every time i tried to start mining it say it is not in the folder.
Sorry for this noob questitions, but Linux is not my common os and i just start learning

3500$ for 115MH? This is why I don't like high end GPU for mining, if your ROI is your first target you need to go for smaller GPUs, with just 3600$ I help someone build 240MH mining rig with 10x gtx1660, I think this is the cheapest rig I've ever build... Anyways nothing spoilt your ROI will only take longer unless bull market erupt once again.
My cheapest rig cost me under 1000$ for 6x RX570 8GB and 192mh but back in 2019 and sure used parts - but it still running  |

I created this post because I have never heard of such a thing anywhere. You can talk and accuse me of anything you want. But I will try to get the same speeds as the author of the video.
You read my post? Look at the shares and compare it with other - they have not enough accepted shares for the showing speed - and such things are popping out many times a year - not the first one who tried to scam people with his super duper magic tool  But sure try it out and install this virus, phishing tool or whatever this is |

In my opinion ETH+ALPH is better for LHR cards - much less heat, no new PSU´s needed, power consumption is nearly the same like mining ETH only and TON goes POS next month. Sure with ETH+TON you can make 10 or 20 cent more per card but not worth in my opinion. |

The cheapest I have been able to get 1080Ti is $500. I wont buy them anymore because they use to much power for the amount of hash I can get out of it.
but the memory in 1080Ti is very much suited to mining.
Yes me to. For 500$ i can get a 2060 Super for example - use much less energy and have 45mh stable - the 1080ti slowdown on eth mining every new epoch |

The same with LEDs of GPUs and motherboards. Some GPUs for example 5700xt from Sapphire has a way to turn off using software but a lot of them for example RadeonVII I am unable to. It would be nice to have no lights whatsoever in mining rig except the one that is on ethernet port.
And why? I don´t understand this problems with the LED´s. Is it danger for your eyes? You sitting the whole day in front of your rig and watch how it runs?  |

Once ETH goes PoS only mining rigs with free electricity will be able to mine. The rest will have to shut down. That's probably 95% of all the people mining around the world ETH and the rest of coins.
Why would you care about this GPUS?? Why would anyone care about mining on any gpu in the upcoming years?? You will not be able to mine with profit. Probably never again.
I don´t think so. In the BTC was mined with GPU´s, and after ASIC´s arrived the field, GPU mining not died, same think is happen after the first LTC asics are going live. And the same will happen after ETH is going to POS - sure maybe in 3 or 4 years - vitalik must test his POS first on DOGE XD Sure we have much more hashrate as in the past, but we have also much more coins to mine. Some people are going out, but this happens every bear market. So i don´t understand the fear and why all people only looking on ETH. |

This reminds me! Sometimes I take a screenshot of such conditions and use it to troll friends of mine on my local mining group. - Just for fun, of course! 
For example I modded my straps incorrectly and my RX 470 which hashed at 30mhs was showing as 60mhs. The issue is that every share that it found was incorrect or it got massive hardware errors.
This often happens to my R9 295 X2if this is trolling, then why is he doing this? in the second video, his miner works for about 2 hours ok you're one of those guys who believes everything on the internet. Why he is doing this? He does this so that many people download his phishing software. Or do you think that only 1 person on this planet find a way to give this gpu´s more speed? and how he will produce more hashrate? You see the bandwidth for this card in the video? It is not possible to reach such high hashrate with this low bandwidth. Compare the share count for the 1060 - i have nearly the same number of shares for my 1060 with 22mh and 18hours Sometimes I doubt the sanity of mankind |

Useful or not, they are so bright! It would be different if they were quite dim, but these small LED’s literally light up a room. Mind you, I’m just starting out with mining and have no other place to put my rig other than in the closet with the door left open. If I decide to scale (knowing me I probably will) then I won’t worry so much about the lights.
I suppose I’ll just have to de solder the LEDs and place a cap in there or some other SMD chip to bridge the connection

Very unstable dual miner.  There is no normal support for old cards and new video cards also do not work correctly. What do you mean with old cards? Can you specify what you mean with unstable? What do you mean with "no normal support" My old cards work nicely also with some newer cards in combination. If you are unhappy, do a better job and build better miner |

How true is unlocking the full potential of 3070ti LHR card by mining ETH and Alephium coin at the same time? I heard this unlock the LHR 100% due to more profits from mining Alephium too , if yes do drop me your OC settings
As far as I know only Lolminer at first did that but it is not 100% unlock,it is still 74% unlock at maximum but it gives you somewhat better payouts as you are mining two coins at the same time.I do not know any 100% LHR unlock yet from any miner except from the scammers which tricks you into downloading just malware and not the real miner. yes you can mine eth+alph with t-rex miner. I use for my 3070´s 1350 core, 8200 mem and 740mv for the gpu -> 42mh on eth and around 350mh on alph. It's true if the second algo is not LHRed. You don't need a dual miner to do it either.
Any CUDA application that fools the LHR detector will work, but you don't want it to compete
for GPU resources with the primary mining algo.
It's presumed LHR is fully disabled but full performance may not be achieved on the primary algo
due to competition from the decoy process.
But a dual miner is easier to use for most of the people.  |

Motherboard shows CPU compatibility in the 8th and 9th generation. Currently won’t post with the 6100T cpu. Any bios where this cpu may be supported? Otherwise I’ll need to purchase some 8th gen
Lol you write a post here, you tried out but you are to lazy to look in the cpu support list? If a mainboard has compatibility to newer generation means not it support all cpu´s. Look in the CPU compatibility list and you don´t see your cpu. Leave mining is a better choice for you. Isn't 6100T CPU a 6th gen CPU? If the motherboard is a 8th and 9th gen mobo then you are doing the right thing, find the right CPU and install it, alright I made a little research now and I found out it's a LGA1151 mobo (8th and 9th) gen CPU only compatible.

Is there any way to mine ETH+TON+ZIL? It should be possible using pools that autoswitch from ETH to ZIL but is there any way to configure different pools in the miner and have it do the switch?
Yes it is possible: --algo ETHASH --pool eu-zil.rustpool.xyz:8008 --user "eth-wallet" --pass "zil-wallet"@eu1.ethermine.org:4444@4G --enablezilcache --dualmode TONDUAL --dualpool https://next.ton-pool.com --dualuser "ton-wallet" But the problem is that caching the zil dag (--enablezilcache) not working at the moment, so it creates the zil dag and eth new on every switch. The same is possible with T-Rex miner to mine ETH+ZIL+ALPH |

And no hashrate and no other stats. Please wait, patrike must change the API reading because lolminer changed the API output. I think patrike will add the dual mining mode. Patrike please add also eth+alephium for t-rex miner. Dual mining reading for SRBminer is also needed i think. |

Hello everyone I can not believe it, but I just solved my problem.
The low hashrate reason was in deed the BIOS being wrong. It caused the GPU to have a wrong power drawing from its 8-pin port.
I wrote to Palit/Gainward tech support and they gave me the correct BIOS.
Now the GPU gets 41.5 MH/s with 125W as it should!!!
I just want to say big thanks to everyone who helped me here. I couldn't do it without you guys!
I will leave this thread with [SOLVED] tag. I think it can be useful in case anyone in the future has the same or similar problem.
I'm glad you find a solution to your problem but your hashrate seem low to me because a 2060 super can do 45MH on Ethereum and I believe that 2070 is even superior in power so I'm expecting close to 50MH rate from the 2070? Though I'm not using the GPU here I'm just curious why the lower GPU is outperforming a better one The 2070 has nearly the same specs like the 2060 Super -> so it can do up to 45mh @ 110w software reading |
