1. 50% project about ETH platform is scam or trash due to the fee of creation (it's too cheap).
Ill say it would be more on 95% of them are complete trash where coins used up erc20 token platform. We have seen they are flooding the entire market using up the same which same as you said creating a coin is too simple.
Quote
2. Some airdrops require us to charge fee GAS before they pay airdrop coin. We should care with it.
Only dumb persons would send ETH to those scammers pretending that they need gas to send up those tokens. When we do talk airdrops then its completely free and anything that do charge is complete scams.
Quote
3. Some airdrops send us an email to KYC and follow us to a fake side.
KYC for Airdrops is bullshit.
4622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk in hodling and trading strategy on: June 15, 2018, 08:20:38 PM
It's just much healthier to trade. Holding in crypto can be a really hard mental task, even more than trading. When trading, as long as you are doing it right, you always set a stop loss, you know that even if you fail 1 or 2 trades, you only lose a set % of money, you can even lose 5 trades, 10, 20, it doesn't matter as long as you are using a good risk reward ratio.
Not only a hard mental task but also a very stressful thing on the same time. When you witnessed anytime on how the price swings either on bitcoin or on other altcoins in the market you will really be bothered when you check out prices.Holding do really give a positive thing but not anytime because most coins in the market doesnt have thave that potential to increase its price on longer runs.
4623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should BTC rise for the World Cup? on: June 14, 2018, 07:31:49 PM
In three days, the 2018 World Cup will be kicked off. This is exciting. This means that there will be a large portion of people who make money on gambling. This is a fortunate World Cup. Because they have cryptocurrencies, I think that BTC will increase the trading volume during some of the World Cup because of the amount of gambling, so the price will be raised. I hope so. ! Welcome to discuss!

Now it is already possible to answer the question with confidence. Price of Bitcoin has not grown, and the World Cup on football has already started. I think that between these two things there is no correlation.
Not even just knowing for this Event to come we can still answer this question with confidence because gambling industry or any events can really put a major impact on bitcoins price. Demand wont really be just enough for us to consider on what would possibly happen.Lets say there are people who do made lots of bets but it cant really make the price up. The true thing which can affect bitcoins price is the demand and full adoption. It do takes time and theres no need to rush.
4624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpanda Mandatory Verification Requirement -- What the F***? on: June 14, 2018, 05:00:33 PM
Nice to see support coming in here to respond. As I mentioned above, I was previously a verified user and am disappointed I cannot verify due to my country not listed on supported verifier lists. Isn't there a way around this?

While it's good to hear that crypto deposits are still possible, and the limits so far are not too bad, it's still a risk to use an exchange that could make changes without warning... I hope Bitpanda doesn't do this, the way other exchanges have in the past.
Whats done is done and cant turn it back the thing here is that they should really make a notice or announcement first for people or users to be aware on what would be only the countries are included on their list which means if a user do sees it he can immediately make actions that he would definitely move out his coins rather than on implementing or updating without further notice which would really definitely result similar on what happened to op. For now sending up ticket and waiting up for supports response related to this issue.
4625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 14, 2018, 03:24:30 PM
I am not yet sure if TA actually works with crypto currencies.
I haven't had any success with pure TA so far. However fundamentals and news seems to do better job at predicting the price of a crypto.

Or Am I doing it wrong? I tried a simple RSI strategy to trade and it didn't workout well.

Should I even bother with technical analysis when it comes to cryptos?
TA still works in cryptocurrency but 80% of the time is bullshit and your best bet is to always use your discretion with a very tight stop loss most of the time before making a trading decision.

This was what exactly brought me to the idea of a huge manipulation in the crypto space but I am not surprised since much of that should be expected in a new environment that is completely decentralized in a way, and sometimes, it is more like the whales always love giving the traders wrong signals, and once they hit the market, they gain a lot from stop loss being hit.
Stop loss is always been recommended into this cryptomarket and as a trader for you to avoid on being burned in the end. The thing i do like when i do trade up on here is that you wont able stop your negative floating which is unlike on forex once balanced or usd account is depleted it would automatically cancel out an order and leave you a burned account which do differs on here. Once you bought even though its negative as long you arent selling it its still not considered as loss. Technical analysis isnt bullshit but there are really times or most of the times it doesnt really work on what you are expecting.
4626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunter wallet on: June 11, 2018, 09:40:55 PM
Hai all hunters, sorry for the noob question (i am a noob)
Can you recomended me what the best wallet to use for hunting bounty?
Inspite on having a full member account on this forum you do still consider you self as a noob? 6 months on crypto would be sufficient enough to know these basic things. Not to be rude but this is part of the reality.Bounty hunting do usually project do make use of erc20 tokens or etherium based which means  erc20 wallets would be needed like myetherwallet, metamask etc. but yet there are tokens which do have different platform with significant wallet to be used on.
4627  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-11] LA Bitcoin Trader Faces 30 Months in Jail for Illegal Money Busines on: June 11, 2018, 08:42:12 PM
A Los Angeles bitcoin trader faces more than two years in jail for having operated what prosecutors say is an illegal money transmitting business. Full article on Coindesk

Well, if you are going to be transacting on localbitcoins while residing in the US, one has to make himself informed of the laws. I'm pretty much sure she was aware of the regulatory laws especially when it involved transacting more than $50000 to one person within 24 hours. FINCEN considers such action as a violation and she has to pay for it.
Definitely right. If you do make transactions specially on larger scales and you are fully aware on the current situation of law or regulation on where you do live then you do know on whats the risk behind it if you do tend to keep it secret or you didnt pronounce such thing. Once caught then expect the consequences. Its normal i guess for someone to face charges if you do break rules.
4628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, what is the name of altcoins that can beat bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 07:33:55 PM
so far there is no altcoins that can beat the bitcoins from the first rank of coinmarketcap, I want to ask you, what is the name altcoins that can beat bitcoin?
Wait! Ill seek and need to look into my crystal ball  Grin

This question is totally senseless yet no man can able to predict on the future but if we do just base on our own common sense on the current things happening on the market then its clear whose the strong contender that can really possible dethroned bitcoin into its current place which is ETH but still not an assurance thing to happen but theres a possibility or even on some altcoins in the market. No one really knows.
4629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy in or opt out? on: June 11, 2018, 06:49:44 PM
With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
Why would opt out? If you are a trader you would really see this as an opportunity to buy back cheap coins in the market but well i cant blame people if they would really have hesitance on mind when deciding on doing such thing. Its your choice as an investor if you can able to risk it out to invest even more or decide to set aside yourself into this falling market. We do have different views and decisions in life as long you do know on whats good for you then its your choice.
4630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold Stratis or switch to BTC? on: June 11, 2018, 06:06:50 PM
I have some STRAT since mid 2017, but the chart says bad, only a slow decline vs. BTC.
Do you think I have to hold them or switch to BTC?
Witch one will recover first? Great boubt...
No one knows! When we do talk about recovery of prices then no trader or man can able to point it out which this thing is really impossible. When you do ask if its wise to switch to bitcoin then its your choice but if i do have still funds to invest then choose both since you do mentioned you hold stratis since 2017 then dont sell out those coins but rather add up funds on buying btc while its still cheap. When market recovers then it would be a win win situation for you since those 2 coins will really increase.
4631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you listen to technical analysis? on: June 10, 2018, 08:18:05 PM
99 percent of the technical analysis didn’t see this dump coming!

Definitely true and this is why cryptocurrency market is way too unpredictable which things can happen in an instant without even expecting for it to come. You have the best set up of technical analysis but this speculative market will break those things for sure but somehow breaking up your TA doesnt happen anytime which its still worth to make use of it when you do make trades but the thing here is that you shouldnt rely too much on it.
4632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin under 6700 because of exchange hack ! on: June 10, 2018, 07:02:16 PM
Be careful when reading sources like that.  Just like every other financial news source, they try to attribute price swings to various economic events--I can't tell you how many times I've read stuff like "stocks rally after jobs numbers improve" or some such.  Two events might not be related at all, but they use this slick language that would make you think they are.

I never heard of this exchange, nor do I think an exchange hack could cause the kind of drop we're in the midst of.  Lots of exchanges have been hacked and the effects are variable--definitely not reliably correlated.  And I'm sure South Korea is a fairly big bitcoin market, but I don't think it's enormous.  Meh.  I'll keep an eye on the news, and thanks for posting this.
The thing you do said was right they are really trying to attribute price swings connected to those events but having these news doesnt really correlate or might even just a minor factor of such price decrease. $40M overall or total amount hacked isnt really suited to be the reason of 10% nose dive price decrease that we are seeing now.Its one of the factors but not totally the main reason and if you are here for how many years on crypto market these kind of scenarios are quite already anticipated to happen.
4633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i join any bounty and any time? on: June 09, 2018, 06:19:34 PM
Yes you're free to join those social media campaigns. There's no limit or ranking requirement on it for some but there are others that are limited to member+ ranks.
if not then tell me how can I know about the new campaign.
Stay on Bounties so you can choose the ones that fits you with their requirements, just take time reading their rules.
This is definitely true and go out with the link given and there are lots of bounties which do almost launch up on everyday basis where you wont really worry on where you would tend to join up but basing on your rank you would really only able to join with social media campaigns since it doesnt really have rank restriction and the limit on how many you would able to join out. As long you do able to handle things up then you can join up as many as you can.
4634  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin for sale large amounts/ bulk on: June 09, 2018, 05:43:39 PM
Bitcoin for sale in the New York City and Tri-state area only.

If out of the area, must come into the city.

5% face to face. Please PM me if you are in the NY area or willing to travel here.

Will meet in bank/ safe place.

Cash only.
Bulk amount and only cash, chance of scam highly possible  Shocked So be careful everyone who want to deal with him.

@OP why you don't want to sell them in an exchange or in LBC,for tax fraud purpose or that bitcoin obtained in illegitimate way? Any way trading them in LBC can give you better price I think. Smiley

how is that a scam or scam worthy?

meeting in a bank or somewhere where both parties agree?

far from a scam. just looking to connect buyer to seller.
Its just talking about the possibility because mostly these kind of things turns out to be suspicious where someone do sell out bulks and meet up face to face. You said it would happen through banks but it doesnt guarantee on the bitcoin holder or owner that he would be safe outside of that bank.  Grin So i would still be cautious with this matter and as being said why wont dont sell on LBT?
4635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or other altcoins? on: June 09, 2018, 01:33:14 PM
Some people say that ripple would reach the moos soon. So I invested $5000 in it. To my dismay, it is decreasing in prices, incurring me a heavy loss. What do you think guys, will it increase in prices? or should I sell all ripple coins I have and go for another?

Ripple has been shown around the world including on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, it has potential but at the moment the price is not showing this. One major thing I think is holding it back is due to its affiliation with banks as bitcoin (being a successful crypto) strives off of this and is why people love bitcoin. If Ripple were to find something that the people love it will also do this.
But the big thing on here is that most people doesnt really like to have banksters involvement which we do know that Ripple(XRP) is into. Why would i chose up this coin compared to those who do have a clear potential than on this one? Pump might happen yet it can be easily manipulated but when it comes to long term i dont really trust this up but well as a crypto enthusiast we do have different decisions when it comes to choosing our own coins.

4637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you want to be successful in trading.. on: May 28, 2018, 11:47:58 PM
If you really want to be a succesfull trader, then you only need to do one thing, just relax and be patient and do not hurry by trying to catch a profit, because you are gonna lose a lot of money because of doing it so
I think besides patience. the first thing you must have is skill and knowledge because it is useless if you have patience but lacks of skills and knowledge. of course that you will produce still a loss? so all the positive things like patient, relax, skills, knowledge, etc you'll probably need that
Right specially for day traders it is very important to gather fine knowledge about trading so it will reduce chance of lose for you, if you will have good information no one will be able to scam with you and you will earn high, if you are new it is good to use long term trading but in case of your choice you can choose day trading as well but get good information and make your knowledge wide to reduce the risk and expend your profit for long term to make bright future.
Trading career can really give out a bright future if you did it well but acquiring this skills wont really be easy and it takes time and lots of trial and error before you would able to attain or achieved such state. Success cant be obtained overtime and most veteran traders do really know that and when it comes to profitability then there no doubt this can really give you that opportunity to have a decent way of living.
4638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bancor network experience on: May 28, 2018, 10:23:29 PM
Hello.

I received some tokens and I can trade them only on bancor network.

I used many exchanges but this one is new for me and I never used it before.
Signing up was odd, it was trough telegram bot.

Share some experience with me. Should I sell my tokens there?
Yes, you can! Bancor might be new into the ears for some people but this is quite a capable exchange.I had sold out my Zippie(ZIPT) with this exchange without any hassle or problem when it comes to execution of trades and with the withdrawal but the fact you would only able to withdraw ETH into your own wallet. Registration is quite odd for most people yet you do either done it on telegram or into messenger.

~snip~
So you are selling out this building right? I dont think this would be suited into this board but still its considerable though but it is good to post it on here.
Ive seen the building was still on progress of being built up but it would be more appealing if you do show some blueprints or just a glimpse of the said structure for the public would able to see it.
4640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Tether a good investment on: May 28, 2018, 09:31:20 PM
yes, tether one of the best investment today, the trading pair has a lot with other coin / tokens, especially if you look at the volume of tether trade, really very tempting once  Grin
Do you even know what investment is? It is something which will give you profit in longer period, investing in tether won't bring you any kind of profit.
You will be stuck with you initial investment and you won't earn anything except what you already have.
To be honest, that title made me chuckle  Grin. Tether was created as a replacement for USD and is supposed to cost 1UDST=1USD. It's a tool, not an asset.
Exactly, I don't understand why anyone would think different.
Or just simply he do able to hear up other people talking about Tether without even knowing on whats actually that thing is and as being said when it comes to investment then this wont be an option because it would always have a fixed value where it is 1:1 with usd. I dont know where he do get that idea and excitement to see it as an investment since the to mention about tempting to trade. lol
