Actually I dont really care what people are calling Bitcoin. I for my part know the difference between a token and a coin, but many people do not know and dont bother to learn the difference. So as long as I understand what people are trying to say Im okay with whatevery term they use. People on this forum arent representative for me. It would bother me though when people with bigger audience, like in tv shows or something, would call Bitcoin a token, bigger audience brings kind of an educational task with itself imho.

Wanchain is a great project. One of the most promising for me that came up in 2017! Im happy to be invested in it and hope that we will see some nice upwards movement soon.
Yesterday I saw Ian Balina talk about Wanchain as one of his favourite projects that could make x100 in 2018. What do you think about that? I love Wanchain, but x100 seems a bit off to me, but Im no expert, maybe Im wrong and this is actually very possible. Would be happy to hear your thoughts about it.

No news about it? I think no one knows much about this ICO. No hype = no investment.
I'm also wondering but since their ico have not started yet everything is in limbo there might a huge update coming up or they are just cooking up something anyway, if you are part of the bounty campaign just keep on until the dev tells us to stop doing so or if there is no news after two weeks. Yea thats why Im a bit worried about the progress of the project. I am participating in the Monartis bounty from day one and am just hoping that things will be sorted out soon and that the team will come up with some announcement how they will proceed. I hope that our bounty efforts will be rewarded as promised. Happy new year to all! |

Hope Wagger climbs ,uch higher than 50 cents at 15 januar
Im expecting a bull run on WGR right before mainnet release. Hope to see it hitting $1 before january 15, 2018. I think that this could easily happen! By the way, does WGR do a lot of marketing efforts to promote the mainnet release or did the recent price increase happen by itself because people themselves became aware of this great project? If so, it would certainly be a smart move to to some promotional work right before the mainnet release! |

Great that SIA's price is moving upwards finally. Im looking forward seeing it break the 10cents mark in 2018! Do you guys think thats possible or not? In my opinion it should be, if the community behind SIA stays tight and doesnt loose confidence and starts selling off when there is a slight rise.

As the world of today is (unfortunately), all that counts is a piece of paper that will grant you access to your desired workfield. I personally think that this is sad because employers do not look for real skills, they are only looking for accomplished studies. Nonetheless I think that everyone that has the possibility to go to college should take this chance and go for it because it is great for the personal development, besides of the doors that it opens for students in the worksphere.

Ive learned in crypto that the most important thing to do when prices are falling is to stay calm and keep control over the emotions that are coming up. When I started and prices were falling I often was tempted to sell just to safe some profits, this turned out to be a bad decision in 9 out of 10 times. So for now Im staying calm and just hold off during bad times, payed off greatly for me so far!

For me the best way to get over a bad mood is to go do some sports. It frees my mind and makes my bad mood weaken. If the weather is too bad to do sports I sometimes also try to just sleep a bit or to meditate. This also helps me to get over a bad mood.

I would certainly not put my entire life savings in cryptocurrencies. Sure, we have seen great appreciation for cryptos in 2017 and this trend is likely to continue for the time being, but there is always the possibility to go the other way as well. Therefore Im always cautious and put only the money in crypto that I am okay with to loose entirely.
Thats the most important rule for me, if cryptos go south, it should not hit me harder than I can bear.

I wasnt around for some time and still have my funds sitting in EtherDelta. When I heard about the hack I was scared to access the website and therefore left it there for the time being. Better safe than sorry! Can anybody tell me what the current status is? Can people access the site safely or is there still a possibility to loose the funds when accessing the website? |

I got some Bitcoin as a christmas present and surprisingly also a new nano ledger s. Cant tell which present made me happier!
I guess this is a way better present nowadays than other stuff. I mean, this gift does only appreciate in value while most other gifts decline in value fast after using them.

I guess people that really feel the urge to gamble should seek ways to control this urge. This deems to me like an addiction, and addictions are never good! A person who can control every emotion and every urge is superior to most and will most likely master everything in life.
I for my part am not a gambler on a regular basis, I just enjoy gambling on certain occasions, but I always set myself a budget, if I win, I got more money for my next gambling session, if I loose, I lost. Thats the way I do it, gambling money stays in gambling for me.

Hi guys, I guess Ripple made us the biggest christmas present imaginable! Still cant believe that it made me x10 after such a long time of almost no movement. Im still wondering where this huge increase originated from, does anybody know if there is a specific reason for it to take off like it did? Or is it just because of the "new" money flowing into crypto these day? Guess its still a good bet to invest in Ripple now, I expect $5 in 2018!

Well, Im really happy to have jumped into Monaco before it took off. Now Im sitting at a doubled investment value and couldnt be more happy. The only thing I wonder about it when are Monaco cards going to be availible for order? Im still looking for some decent crypto cards, and think that Monaco will be one of them.

I for my part sold off most of my Bitcoin at around $10.000. I surely do regret when looking at the profits I could have taken out if I waited longer, but on the other hand Im very satisfied, because if your investment almost doubles in a matter of some months, what are you complaining about?
The price surge of Bitcoin is insane in my opinion, and its only a matter of time until we will see four digits numbers for BTC again, but lets see.

as we know so many reason to make controversial bit coin currency in practical or real media sanitation. if we observe very carefully few past few years we have seen that criminal activities or occurrence are occurred by the help of hackers and trader make it famous moving thousand of dollars outside by cheating with government law enforcement for that reason value of bitcoin increasing very high. even they make money away from center bank and government unable to hold money from general people and through this process people convert this money into different things. i think this is enough for making controversial and what do you think about my think ?
yes bitcoin is highly controversial because its very significant increase from the price of just $ 1 now has reached over $ 14000 it is very profitable and makes it controversial. How is that even controversial? Bitcoin's price depends on the law of the demand and supply which means it all depends on it's users and not that controversial. I think if there will be something controversial to it, that will be it's invention or foundation. Satoshi Nakamoto do not named himself and let his invention be used by the people, people who become millionaires and billionaires while he do not have any thing to get from it since we are still not sure about the million bitcoins he hold. In my opinion the controversial thing here is that Bitcoin was invented as a means of digital currency for everyday payments that should become a means of fair distribution of wealth over the world. But the truth is that Bitcoin has become another playball in the game of capitalism and now is way overvalued in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against it, because it also greatly benefits me, but in terms of its purpose I know that what it has become is not what it was intended to be. |

ICO price was 5k sat/SONM or $0.11 at that time. Investors/people who have invested/bought at that price, their investment turned more than 4.4x now I guess, Those investor have a big lost money and missed for a moment. Let's count again, an investor have bought for 5K satoshi #0.1$. Then now has #0.4$ worth 2k satoshi. following comparison to proven , investor lost more 4x (in bitcoins), that is should be 8x profits. True, I think its always important to compare to the current value used currency to determine the profit/loss ratio of a trade. Many people only look at the USD value of their investments, this is fine, if they are thinking of cashing out in USD, but its reflecting a flawed profit, compared to the profit one could have had (or not) while sticking with BTC. But each one his own. |
