The PPV price for subscribers is: $59.99, and $74.99 for non-subscribers. The monthly subscription to DAZN is $19.99 with a 12-month contract or $24.99 month-to-month in the U.S., while the annual subscription costs $224.99.

The PPV is also expensive especially if you are a non-subscriber, no wonder illegal streams are very popular.

I don't expect it to get very many buys. This just doesn't need to be on pay-per-view. The undercard is terrible and the main event fighters aren't some huge stars. Buying the DAZN subscription for a small discount is not worth it either because there's hardly any big fights included with the subscription. For $20 a month, which I'm sure they'll continue to increase, you only get guys like Jake Paul and Ryan Garcia in tuneup fights against outmatched opponents.
502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone Deposited Money Into My Bitcoin Wallet. Can He Withdraw it? on: December 09, 2023, 04:27:58 AM
If you are in control of the private keys then you are the only one who can withdraw. If you use something custodial like an exchange account then anybody with your login information would be able to access your funds.

Just don't get duped into disclosing your wallet backup phrase and you will be fine. There are many phishing scams looking to take advantage of newbies.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price before Christmas on: December 08, 2023, 05:58:02 AM
Hello,
If someone has made a loss in buying and selling Ethereum, what is your suggestion? Should he\she hold Ethereum?
Is it possible for the price to reach $2300 before Christmas?

Thanks.

$2300 is extremely conservative. It only took a few hours to reach that price. After Bitcoin's rally took a pause some altcoins have started to pump. Ethereum is looking strong right now and I expect it will continue to be bullish for the remainder of the month. For Christmas I would say $2500 is a reasonable target.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: December 08, 2023, 05:31:58 AM
Depositing to a casino doesn't necessarily need to have such a high cost. If you are using a non-custodial wallet you can always set a low fee if you are willing to wait a while. For some people it may still not be worth it if they only have a small amount of BTC to gamble with or if they don't want to incur high costs when withdrawing. In that case using turning to low fee altcoins can be a solution depending on what coins are accepted by the casino. Lightning would be ideal for Bitcoin-only casinos but unfortunately most of them don't want to invest resources into implementing this.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin Devolpers planning to kill Ordinals and Inscription on: December 08, 2023, 05:10:25 AM
Bitcoin Knots makes up less than half a percent of active Bitcoin nodes and the only pool using it for mining also has minuscule hashrate. This won't put an effective end to Ordinals but there is widespread agreement that these types of transactions are considered spam so it's possible we might see Bitcoin Core make similar changes. It will also depend on whether mining pools adopt this policy to filter spam transactions.

Earlier this year Monero adopted a similar change after the Monero Ordinals Project was created. For a blockchain as popular as Bitcoin, with many competing interests, I expect there will be a lot more pushback. Some will argue that it's a slippery slope that can lead to other types of transactions not being accepted. Miners could also object and say that higher fees are good for network security.
506  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IDF are terrorists who bomb children in schools. on: December 07, 2023, 06:49:30 AM
Lately I have seen some accounts on Twitter/X, which belong to people who seems to be mostly pro-Israel in some way. They have been implying heavily that those children and babies which appear to be victims of the bombings by the IDF in the Gaza strip are actually dolls which are imported from China to be used to misguide and fool the international media about the colateral damage of civilians and innocent children.
Mostly, the replies to those accusations have been negative and people mostly lashes at them by calling them monsters and stuff like that.

To me, it is very creepy either way, the fact one cannot longer trust one's eyes (in the case the accusations are true) or the fact people who are pro Israel are willing to minimize the loss of life in such a disgusting way.

Has anyone of you have further information on those things? It has got me very concerned and curious since I read about it on Twitter/X.

Of course it's not true. There are crazy conspiracy theories about every horrific event that happens. Zionists have come up with the most deranged and implausible theories I have seen. Even Alex Jones' theories on the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting look sane by comparison. Zionist propaganda has been debunked over and over again so they come up with something even more unhinged to try and minimize or outright deny the sadistic nature of their crimes against humanity.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 07, 2023, 06:07:50 AM
Former Heavyweight Champion, Deontay Wilder recently shared his thoughts on this fight -

https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/news/boxing/tyson-fury-vs-oleksandr-usyk-deontay-wilder-makes-fight-prediction/a85k15wb80rp1odd2jhlbkkp7

“It's a 50-50 fight, anything can happen. People look at Fury's size as a major advantage but that doesn't necessarily mean nothing because Usyk can stay low to the ground and because Fury's so tall it's going to be difficult to reach down”

“If Usyk can get in and out real fast, I feel speed could be a major factor. For me it's 50-50 and I'm glad it's finally happening so we get all the belts in one place”

Deontay Wilder also predicted that Ngannou would knock Fury out. While in hindsight that might not have been a completely outrageous prediction, it just shows that he is biased when it comes to Fury. He cannot accept that Fury is a better fighter and holds a lot of resentment towards him.

It is not a 50/50 fight but Fury's most recent performance has created enough doubts to move the odds closer. Before fighting Ngannou I was certain that Fury would steamroll past Usyk. I still think he wins by a comfortable margin, if he trains properly, but it might not be the one-sided beatdown I originally anticipated.
508  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 07, 2023, 05:10:34 AM
Any ideas why this happened? I used to have more, 5 or even 7, but missed the moment when it reduced to 2.

Claiming from the faucet as well as redeeming Wheel of Fortune spins will negatively affect the ratio needed to maintain the base reward at $0.002 worth of sats. Your BTC balance also factors into whether your reward is reduced. I believe if you have over $100 worth in your account then you will have the normal base reward, but the requirement is lower depending on how much you've wagered.
509  Economy / Reputation / Re: Most famous person on Bitcointalk? on: December 06, 2023, 06:02:28 AM
Many people who are well known cryptocurrency figures have been active in the forum at some point. Outside of Satoshi, probably the biggest name would be Vitalik Buterin — the creator of Ethereum. There are also controversial personalities like Roger Ver.
A hacker who stole over 50,000 BTC from the Silk Road also had a forum account. He was known as Loaded on BitcoinTalk.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck Bitcoin on: December 05, 2023, 06:34:10 AM
If you were sending Bitcoin between different custodians there is nothing you can do. You might not see that money again because CashApp would have sent the BTC back to the custodian's hot wallet and not a specific deposit address associated with your account. Once the transaction confirms you will have to contact the game's customer support to see if they will credit the amount back to your account.
511  Other / Meta / Re: Sanctioned Services and the service traceability to this forum, Any danger? on: December 05, 2023, 06:12:49 AM
Now, my concern is, wouldnt it make sense to remove the Sinbad escrow address from this forum? And also remove anything that could make it easy for authorities to trace transactions from that address to this forum, and it's users?

Is this forum not going to be in danger if authorities trace transactions with services they have sanctioned down to this forum?

Maybe this is nothing, either way, consider me being over curious and conscious  Grin.

It's too late now. Blockchain analysis companies have had months to collect data.

From an Elliptic.co blog post in February:

Quote
Analysis of blockchain transactions shows that a Bitcoin wallet used to pay individuals who promoted Sinbad, itself received Bitcoin from the suspected Blender operator wallet.

These companies will harvest as much data as they can find from this forum and across the entire internet. It doesn't matter if you're on a blacklist or not, they already have whatever data has been openly available.
512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: X.com (Twitter) is approving phishing website ads, beware on: December 05, 2023, 05:34:41 AM
I almost only visit twitter on the website with an adblocker turned on. On the rare occasion that I use the app I notice that there are a lot of low quality and scammy looking advertisers on there. Big companies don't want to advertise on there anymore because of Elon endorsing controversial ideas. As a result, we are more likely to encounter these scam ads and because they laid off most of their moderation staff it can take many weeks for them to be removed.
513  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, when KYC will be introduced? on: December 05, 2023, 04:59:24 AM
The ban on mixers finally proved that the forum is centralized. And as the authorities order the admin, so it will be

Unlicensed cryptocurrency trading is carried out on the forum. This is already a reason to introduce the KYC procedure

The forum is registered in the USA and must comply with US laws and cooperate with FATF and AML enforcement agencies

Any trade done through the forum is done peer-to-peer. Bitcointalk never takes custody of anyones funds so it isn't a money service business and isn't obligated to comply with AML regulation. It's no different from people selling gift cards for PayPal on Reddit and Telegram. KYC won't be introduced because there is no law requiring it.
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction is possible in bitcoin price? After 40,000$ on: December 05, 2023, 04:13:52 AM
A correction will come sooner or later. It has happened after every major rally. The question is for how much longer can Bitcoin keep pumping? Traders are up massively and could decide they want to take profits. Some will start converting their BTC to stablecoins and alts. All of this could have an effect and cool down Bitcoin's momentum. Whatever happens, Bitcoin will still close out the year with some nice gains having increased over $25k so far.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 04, 2023, 02:53:20 AM
Results of the Garcia vs. Duarte Event

Garcia vs. Duarte

Ryan Garcia Defeated Oscar Duarte - KO/TKO
Floyd Schofield Defeated Ricardo Lopez - KO/TKO
Shane Mosley Jr. Defeated Joshua Conley - KO/TKO
Darius Fulghum Defeated Pachino Hill - KO/TKO
Sean Garcia Defeated Joseph Johnson - DECISION
Gael Cabrera Defeated Alejandro Dominguez - KO/TKO

Actually, I really don't know what happens to these 2 fights

Asa Stevens VS Dominique Griffin
Danilo Diez VS Jose Alvarado

I see that Ryan's younger brother, Sean, is still trying to give professional boxing a try. I looked him up on BoxRec and his last fight was a year ago in Korea on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao's exhibition. He scored a draw in that fight against a local fighter with a 2-1-1 record and prior to that he got a majority decision against a 5-5 boxer. He is clearly not very good but perhaps we will see him on a Misfits Boxing card fighting against influencers.

Hello good evening dear freebitcoin.

I am writing here again since nobody replied to me today.

I have a problem. I requested a BTC withdrawal today but it never arrived. It says:
Invalid BTC Transaction

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/b693b2d593850c106e41efbe89bd7a351286dd6f785fd8b8788f042ca598118f

Can TheQuin or someone help me here please. Is freebitcoin still paying out or they stopped?

Also both of freebitco.in withdrawal addresses slow and instant are empty since September. I still have about 0.008 BTC there. I'll wait a few days and see. Maybe this is the end. What a shame after all this time freebitco.in to scam their loyal users.

This transaction confirmed a few hours ago and currently has 23 confirmations. Perhaps it took a while for them to broadcast the transaction and that's why it wasn't visible on block explorers. As you can see they are using different withdrawal addresses now that change dynamically after every transaction.

I have to say that it is very difficult to change your withdrawal Bitcoin address, if you do not have access to your 2FA device. I recently lost access to the device and now I am f$%#ed. I created the Bitcoin address on a custodial service that will not sign the Bitcoin address that I used with my freebitco.in account. (that was years ago)

You can also not do a lot without the 2FA.... and you cannot disable the 2FA, so you guys should protect the 2FA key backup with your life, if you have a lot of coins on this site.  Tongue

According to the site you can reset 2FA by opening a browser window where you are not logged in and clicking on the RESET 2FA button.

517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: December 04, 2023, 01:32:15 AM
There is also another man called James Simons, who is named the greatest gambler of all, he made more money using math than Chris Ferguson, James net worth is over 20 billions, I was shocked, because I use to think it's impossible to gamble using any skills, this is a skill on a another level, I am mad that I am just knowing this not too long ago.

School is not important as 96% of what you learn won't be used in the real world to make money, but this 4% left is making a lot of people rich, math and gambling seems to go with each other, what do you guys think? Am I wrong or right?

For being the greatest gambler ever, his Wikipedia page makes no mention of anything related to gambling. The vast majority of James Simons' wealth comes from investments and being a hedge fund manager. He has been successful at creating investment strategies by developing mathematical models and analyzing patterns. While investing in financial markets can be seen as a form of gambling it is not the same thing in the traditional way that most people understand gambling.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: December 03, 2023, 06:28:23 AM
Since the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk, nothing bad has happened on this network. It seems to me that nothing much has changed, the popularity of the social network has not decreased. So Elon Musk chose the right vector of development.

Nothing bad has happened except losing millions of dollars in advertising, devaluing it by more than half, and seeing a large decline in app installs. Advertising is Twitter's only significant source of revenue. Without revenue Musk will be unable to repay the loans, which came with high interest, used to purchase Twitter. As Musk admitted, "the advertiser boycott will kill Twitter".
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 03, 2023, 05:26:00 AM
Investors made some really poor choices by buying into the NFT hype and are now looking for the government to bail them out. Anybody that actually believed that monkey drawings were really worth millions of dollars and anybody could get rich from investing in pump and dump tokens has nobody else to blame but themselves. You didn't have to be a genius to figure out that the bubble would eventually burst. They are responsible for their own choices and should live with those consequences instead of expecting reparations.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 03, 2023, 04:34:10 AM
Ryan gets the win by KO. There was nothing too remarkable about his performance but he was able to execute his game plan effectively. Duarte was at a disadvantage because of the 143 lb catchweight. His style was very basic and Ryan had no problems landing shots. After this tuneup it seems like Rolly Romero might be next for Ryan. Both fighters are at a similar level so it should be an intriguing matchup where we will see if either of them is ready to step up to the elite level once again.
