501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: July 06, 2023, 07:26:49 PM
I even saw someone saying the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz event might garner more PPV buys than this one. Cheesy It's funny how these ultra casuals are purchasing joke fights rather than watching the real fights.

Hearn thinks it will sell at least 500k.
Quote
“I think it does great numbers, 500,000 – 600,000,” said Hearn when discussing the fight on The DAZN Boxing Show.

I believe they will not struggle to sell this fight since there has been anticipation built up for it over the years. The Garcia vs. Tank Davis fight was a success, so I anticipate that this fight will surpass the pay-per-view subscriptions they generated, especially considering that Spence and Crawford are more popular fighters.

I think that will be the high numbers though, but we will see, there's a lot of hype on this fight, but assuming that either is not a PPV star, yeah, maybe that will be the ball park number. As compare to Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis fight wherein this fighters have a lot of social media follower and everyone wanted to see this fight for a long time and both are bankable PPV stars. But still, if they didn't produce the same numbers, maybe a good 500,000 buys is already good for this fight. And then the rematch might get bigger numbers. So everything hang on this fight and see how good this is so that boxing fans are going to be interested on a second fight.

There is no need for these two fighters to have a large number of social media followers or to generate buzz on social media. The true fans of these fighters already know them, and they will undoubtedly want to witness this fight, whether through pay-per-view or by attending the event. In my opinion, this fight holds greater significance than the Garcia vs. Davis fight, as both of these fighters have consistently held high rankings in the pound-for-pound list. Therefore, it is almost certain that this fight will generate a substantial number of pay-per-view views.

But still though, social media is every where and it could be a good gauge for this boxers. I mean you can measure how popular you are by the numbers of your followers. It might not translate to viewerships, but still for me it's a measuring stick, just like how Ryan's social media is.

The thing though with both Spence and Crawford is that they are not that young, meaning they are not into this social media thingy and just going back to the old roots of fighting and creating their own hype. And their brand name are the one who are going to carry them. However, we think think that this fight is not going to generate 1 million PPV.
You're right about that, but on social media you can see that a lot of things, like the popularity of some boxers, can be compromised by a lot of things they see, hear and say about them, of course by speculating about Crawford and Spence, too. Like any of the boxers worldwide, everyone who says something is always based on what they see and has been able to dispel from them, it is known that a boxer wins according to his training, he does not win by luck or something similar, he wins there, if a boxer does not want a particular matchup, it must be or is very likely because he has not had the necessary training.

I don't know what many people think , perhaps a boxer is very good at what he has always done because he is very Famous , in this case it Helps a lot, but of course things can also change with training and that is something that very few Bettors they take into considerations that are very technical , for me in this case Crawford has Better Preparation.

In the case of Spence vs Crawford, they are not that old when it comes to social media because indeed they are somehow active on it especially Instagram and Twitter.

Plus we can say that these two boxers are still famous and can create a hype even without marketing it just like how silent they are now because they know that their fans can do that for them for free and they are one of the reasons why both boxers and organizers came to a point to make it happen as they see a huge cashflow by having this fight.

Spence himself is enough to attract a lot of fans and people to watch his fight what more now that Crawford is added in it.

It's somehow safe to assume that this will be a big fight even without marketing it and we can see how confident the promoters and organizers are of this event because they already booked a date in T-Mobile Arena without having any doubts, it's the very same arena where Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis fought each other and we know that it's kind of a big place and reasonable as well for this kind of event that has been asked for the people for a couple of years now.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 06, 2023, 05:27:57 PM

That's how favored he is to win this fight. If we could aim for a KO victory, I believe the odds would be even higher, so we shouldn't hesitate to take that opportunity. It's rare to see Donaire face a boxer whom he could clearly dominate. The odds may not be attractive, but I have great confidence in Donaire winning the fight, perhaps within the first three rounds. Who would dare to risk betting on that?

Maybe because right now, he is not the kind of boxer he was in his prime, and obviously Santiago is the only boxer he can dominate and not the other contenders in the high rank anymore. Let's just see how the old Donaire will handle this fight after coming from a devastating loss against Inoue and what kinds of skills he still has to show Santiago in this fight because if he hasn't been training some new skills, then Santiago will easily win this fight because of knowing all his moves already unless Donaire is fully ready and have the plan to knock him out.

Bookies would not make him a heavy favorite if people didn't believe in Donaire's capability anymore. While he did suffer a TKO against Inoue, it's important to note that Inoue has been dominating anyone who dares to challenge him. This is a fresh start for Donaire since the belts have all been vacated with Inoue moving up to the super bantamweight division.

Yes, I like that term, 'fresh start' for Nonito and hopefully this is just the beginning for another of his reign as Inoue is no longer here.
So we will see how far Donaire can go, if he beats Santiago then he will have to defend it sooner or later against another young guys in the division. And there is a potential as well as it could be against another Filipino in Reymart Gaballo.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves, not a couple of weeks and we will see again Nonito and for sure he will be up to the challenge once more.

I hope we don't witness another Filipino boxer suffering at the hands of Donaire. If he wins this fight, it would be great to see a unification match next. Considering that Donaire is not getting any younger, he cannot afford to waste time. He needs to pursue more achievements, and a unification fight would be a great start.

Hopefully we will not witness that while Donaire is still active in the sport but considering the situation of the division now, it is kind of blurry to see another Filipino boxer along the way because among all four belts in the weight class, only the IBF is vacant and as far as I know it doesn't have any upcoming fights.

Now if Donaire will pursue a unification fight, he got two choices, the WBO who belongs to Moloney or the WBA who belongs to Takuma Inoue (Naoya's younger brother).
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 06, 2023, 04:16:18 PM
What I read is that the flopping penalty is given after the game has stopped.  It may not have been fully explained because the rule is newer. This rule becomes clearer in the upcoming games.
I'm confident that the players will adapt to it, especially with the preseason before the regular season. They will have the opportunity to make the necessary adjustments to avoid committing technical fouls due to flopping, as it can be costly for a team. A technical foul results in one free throw and ball possession for the opposing team, which can be detrimental, particularly in a crucial game.

The rule can be so helpful to any given team, but it will take some time before the whole league can adapt to it especially the referees because the challenge is on their hands to identify whether if it is a flop or not, so that a foul will not be given as even 1-point can be so important to any team. They need to acquire those eagle eyes because it is badly needed especially in post season games where games are so important to all teams that are participating.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 05, 2023, 02:15:27 PM

It is really hard to forget Canelo Alvarez's expressions inside the ring because he just cannot hide how frustrated he was as he cannot really give something good towards Bivol to make the fight in his favor, even the judges tried to help him, but it was just so clear that Bivol is too dominant inside his own division. Canelo probably thought that he can have the belt once again as he managed to defeat Sergey Kovalev few years back in the same division.

It was just beyond his skills to beat that guy and look at them didn't even bother to take a second chance to regain back his honor by asking Bivol for a second fight instead they are cherry-picking opponents nowadays just to be active in boxing for the months to come. If only they choose to fight real contenders no matter how hard it is, they wouldn't have lost the reality of boxing as we saw in the past in the Mike Tyson era, nowadays if the opponent has high more chance of beating them, they don't accept the challenges rather they dodge it by looking for a small fish opponent that is available.

Canelo has accepted the fact that he cannot beat Bivol, but it seems like he's making excuses by offering an unfavorable revenue sharing for a potential rematch. It's clear that the fight won't happen under those conditions. What Canelo is doing is sticking with a division where he can dominate and likely retire as a champion.

Canelo doesn't have the fighting skills to beat Bivol and that's a fact my friend. He is just trying to offer rematch only as a publicity stunt to save his lost reputation. I'm quite sure that Bivol is not interested in a rematch, and he wont accept any proposals from Canelo. Canelo also knows that his tries will be useless and Bivol wont go for another contract. I think it should be better for Canelo to fight with someone whom he can win, and after many good wins the guy might get another chance to fight with Bivol.

That might be the case why both camps are not making any noise regarding about the rematch, as of now, I wouldn't call it as the end of the road between the two of them because Canelo hasn't made an offer yet to contest the fight at 168 and to show that he is indeed eager to make the fight happen to regain his reputation because he only gave an offer at 175 and with the same purse split, that's why Bivol's camp declined automatically without any hesitation.

So, let's see if there will be some changes after Canelo's fight this coming September.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: July 05, 2023, 01:54:56 PM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?
I am sticking to a strict budget so i don't need to promise specific day offs for myself.

So even if i had the problem of keeping that promise, the fact that i wouldn't have any budget to play with would protect me from my impulses. And i don't EVER play over my budget. I have done that once and i know it's a slippery slope. Following my own rules make me respect myself and i am hooked on that feeling more then i am with gambling.

Yes, same here. It's not that I'm not fond with gambling but since I'm only into sports betting which makes my gambling expenses limited as I only choose some games that I wanted to bet. I don't need to make some promises to myself even if I will lose a decent amount at any given day because I know that my next betting activity will probably a few days after or even a week.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: July 05, 2023, 12:42:46 AM
Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?

I understand what you're talking about. Knowledge and money is a bicycle with two pedals. You have to rotate both. If you have money but no knowledge, you may get lucky a few times but end up losing money. Because trading or investing without knowledge is a mandatory loss of money. Just like knowledge without money is meaningless until you have the necessary amount to start.
In general, if a person knows a lot about bitcoin, this does not mean that he should buy it. But if a person buys bitcoin, then he should know about it. And the more the better
Knowledge and capital would never work without each other, that’s why both should compliment each other to achieve a successful investment. You can’t expect to make profits with your investment if you only rely on your capital alone without any knowledge or strategy that will make your investment work and prosper. Just like if you are dependent on your knowledge alone, you can’t move forward because you need sufficient amount of money to finance your investment. Otherwise, your investment will never progress if you lack one of them, the reason why you have to be mentally and financially ready before you decide to risk entering an investment.
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: July 04, 2023, 09:55:16 PM
Honestly am new here and with my little time that i have spent in this forum i have observed, and i wanna ask the forum mate if that is posible because i saw it happening amonge the forum mate and the person that invade this platform for me,people in this forum who are connected in one way or the other are trading on their sendable merit not only the their sndable merit but orher way of trading on merit is going on in this forum,so my question is,is it good and permitted to do such on the forum,
The forum has no control on it but as a responsible member, you should know that buying merits are strictly prohibited and should never be encouraged. Simply because that will not be your asset and that will not make you knowledgeable and become significant member in the forum. Merits are only given to those who deserve it, and not to be bought since your worth and quality will never be bought in the first place.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop panic and remain focus in crypto and BTC trade. on: July 04, 2023, 09:30:19 PM
Bitcoin investors and traders cannot easily avoid from panicking particularly if they are still beginners but the moment they can adjust to that, at least they should start to avoid from panicking as it will only destruct their focus to achieve their goals. However, it takes knowledge and right attitude towards your investment so that one will not resort into panic. If you have the discipline and emotional management, then you can easily get rid from panicking.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Logic of life on: July 04, 2023, 08:53:16 PM
I think you're referring to earnings or profits that allow being consistent. Knowledge alone can sometimes become obsolete, people say "experience is the best teacher". From several experiences it will produce evaluations and form stronger economic instincts in all the changing conditions of life variables.

And people have to believe in themselves that what they do will reap results.
You’re on point mate. Although it’s a known fact that knowledge is power, but experience itself is more powerful. Some people with high intelligence do not end up successful in their lives because they lack the strategies to succeed but people with high experience are seen to have reach far in their endeavors not because they are witty and smart, but because they already know how to deal the battles in life since they have been battling all along. Same with crypto investments, knowledge alone cannot guarantee success but experience and skills will definitely make it.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Knowledgeable before Bitcoin investment is very Good on: July 04, 2023, 01:18:49 PM
Not only Bitcoins, but also in each and every type of investment, if you have the proper knowledge, then definitely you will make the most profits out of the investment. I have seen many people after investing in Bitcoins for a week starts complaining that, the price doesn’t go up. They don’t know how market works and don’t know the concept of supply and demand, hence the prerequisite knowledge is definitively the top priority here. It also helps to minimise the risk involved in the investment.
Being knowledgeable is a must, not just when you plan to enter investments, but even when you decide which path to take so you can be more successful in your endeavor. I think that’s the secret of successful individuals today, equipping theirselves with knowledge and skills first prior to their decision making. Most especially if you decide to enter bitcoin investment which is very volatile and unpredictable, then the more that you’ll have to armor yourself with adequate knowledge and working strategies so that your investment will create higher chances to succeed. Otherwise, investing will turn into gambling if you don’t even know what you are doing in the first place.
511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: July 03, 2023, 09:54:45 PM
Ignorance is one of the major problems why people don't invest in Cryptocurrency, making people do not understand how to buy and sell in the crypto world, a good number of people lack this understanding and they claim it is insecure to invest into.
There are many reasons why ignorance becomes a serious problem. Not everywhere people are familiar with digital investment, some people even aren't familiar with the internet yet. For these people, surely they assume crypto is something too risky and they may not believe that it can gain money for them. So, we can understand if they are not involved in crypto. In addition, I think people still have a lack of understanding about crypto due to their old habits, not everyone has the ability to follow the innovation. Most of them are old people, they only believe in something that they often do in daily life. They are against something new, especially for digital matters. I saw there are many old people with this personality in my town.

What we can expect from old people than to stick with what they are used doing, and that resorting into changes may only make them struggle. However, for this new generation, exploring the new innovation is their favorite habit that’s why they easily perceive the idea of digital cryptocurrency and even take risk investing in it. But for those who stay ignorant and refuse to get education on crypto, then they will forever hesitant to invest in crypto.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 03, 2023, 09:28:10 PM
Do not limit your investment but make sure what you are investing are only those who have potentials to give you high returns, otherwise you’ll end losing them all because of your own greed to make more money. However, investment diversification is always encourage, but it doesn’t mean that if you invest in bitcoin, you should also take part in altcoins as well. Altcoins are no longer profitable and reliable these days so investing in them would create higher risk of losing. Instead, learn to invest in other investment like buying real estate and use it for business purposes. That is my goal and hopefully, I can acquire that in the future.
513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are we expecting from now until Bitcoin halving? on: July 03, 2023, 08:53:22 PM
Are we expecting any more major crashes or should the markets start steadily rising in a few months or so or will that not happen till the end of 2023?

Many predict that it might be in that direction, but not overall, I think. Of course, you also understand that the financial market is influenced by many factors and there are always ups and downs especially for those who are not familiar with the complexities of the crypto market. So it's good to stay here and informed until the end of this year.

I guess no one knows what will actually happen when real halving  comes. But based on its history, it’s the best moment for bitcoin so most likely, there are more high expectations that bitcoin would reach 6 or 7 price digit. However, bitcoin halving will not ensure that everything will be profitable by that time. Some will still be at a loss simply because, they don’t prepare for bitcoin halving and some are just impatient to wait for that and just sell their coins at its current price.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 30, 2023, 12:51:28 PM
Are we actually anticipating a fight like this to occur before? Like two well billionaires coming out to shame themselves on what ground? Americans will never let you think they are cowards in public. But we often forget that Elon is from South Africa(lols)

When I learned about the fight between the two billionaires(Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg), I know that it will never going to happen. Something will give rise to its cancellation and Elon Musk's mom was the one that pulled the plug.

I saw the tweet and thought this is over now, but apparently it isn't. Press just jumped the gun because they wanted to be first to say it.
Elon seems to be planning to practice with his fan that happens to be a sensei etc martial art teacher. And Elon just tweeted that the fight will take place in colosseum, but you can never be sure if he is joking or not. I am guessing he is not, but in case he doesn't want to fight after all he can say that ofcourse he was joking.

Many rumors have been surfacing about the situation of this fight but saying that Elon Musk's mother was the one who pulled the plug is not really something that people will buy. I don't know what is the agenda between Elon and Mark but definitely, nobody's mother can cancel it personally contacted Dana White.

I also read somewhere that Andrew Tate is willing to train Elon Musk if the latter wants it but it seems that Elon have his own trainor now, that one that is a martial arts teacher.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 30, 2023, 12:28:42 PM
There's a lot of coverage for this fight already, so maybe the hype is slow but coming fight night, it will be one of the biggest fight in terms of revenue and PPV numbers and live gate.

Crawford said that he is ready for whatever Spence bring in the table. He might not look for a knockout, but if he has chance then he will go for it as that could be the icing in the cake for him.

Still a month to go and I think we might see some waves starting and noise in about two weeks before the fight date. No marketing either by both of the camp to keep the flame lit, that means that they are not worried because they already know the gravity of the fight they are making.

As for Crawford, I pretty much think that he knows that he got the advantage/upper hand in this fight but he's not taking any chances because he also know that Spence is not any ordinary boxer that can be underestimated easily.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 30, 2023, 07:54:47 AM

Donaire was a great example of a true champion, as he was well aware that Inoue could beat him again, and yet he still risked a unification match to test himself against Inoue once more.
Inoue is also a great example as he always seeks to fight the best opponents, which is why he became an undisputed champion in the bantamweight division. After winning, he wasted no time in moving up for the super bantamweight title match. If he succeeds again, it would be a tremendous accomplishment, and I am certain he will continue pushing his limits.

He had to climb in ranks though, as he started is fights all in Japan, but his handlers knows his true potential and they have been given the chance to fight in the US and be exposed from boxing fans because of Bob Arum.

So we might hate Bob Arum and Top Rank, but surely they know how to promote a fighter like Manny Pacquiao. And after winning the WBSS tournament, Inoue become a household name in the US and then he started his path to defeat all great fighters unifying all the belts.

Now, his journey continues as he might want to do it at 122 lbs.

There will be a time in the future for sure that he will have to fight in other countries like in US or somewhere in Europe, or even in the Middle East if Inoue will face an opponent that have a much bigger name than him. But not now because the organizer and promoter is more inclined to make the fight happen in Japan as it was already evident that they can generate big profits in that certain country and considering that Inoue won this fight and will take the undisputed fight, I'm also confident that they will contest the fight in Japan again instead of the Philippines where Marlon Tapales came from.

I agree, but somewhat if Inoue really wanted to become bigger, then USA should be the place where he should conquer. He is now even compare to Manny as both come from Asia and even Mike Tyson praises Inoue and says that he is even better than Pacquiao.

But Manny didn't fight in his home country, but instead all of his fight is in the US soil during his ran that's why he become a legend.

I think Inoue should learn from that. Bob Arum is his manager and for sure he also knows that because he created that blue print. If this fight is in the US, it's going to be huge. Right now it seems that Inoue doesn't want to get out of his comfort zone, just saying.

That is not the reason why Manny Pacquiao had most of his fights abroad and not in his own land, after all boxing industry is a business industry, and for Manny Pacquiao to earn huge profits from the fights he had, he will be needing to fight abroad where there's a lot of money that can be generated.

Because if only Manny Pacquiao can have the same revenues inside the Philippines, then he could've done that already because aside from having the crowd advantage, he will be no longer needed to adjust in a certain country just to train.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2023, 07:20:34 AM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

It's quite evident already that the Golden State Warriors aren't looking to change their line-up to keep up with the giant players nowadays that can literally protect the rim and paint, instead, they are giving more focus in what they have and the strengths where they are famous for, small ball.

Now that CP3 is on the Warriors, I think so too that he will be in the starting line-up but that won't be long as they cannot afford to lose CP3 via injury and will just let him rest in-between or where the Warriors needed him the most.

Yeah, this is also what I'm seeing Kerr doing in the next season, they are going small and obviously giving up height against team that has great center. But they still have Green and Kevon Looney.

And they are used to small ball, there are games that you won't see Looney down the stretch, it was Draymond who play center position. And then we have Klay and Steph and then Poole for them. So same lineup, except that CP3 will be their point guard and then Steph focusing on his shooting as well as Klay. So nothing has chance in their style of play despite losing Poole.
They have been successful using a small ball lineup, but they need to ensure that Curry and Thompson are consistently performing well in every game. Their previous issue was poor shooting and being outrebounded simultaneously, which could prove detrimental if it happens again. While they may sacrifice rebounding to some extent, they must prioritize shooting accuracy, particularly in three-pointers.

That's the recipe.

Stephen Curry though was still playing as usual last season but Klay Thompson, he was the one who had some hardships and keep up with the supposed to be Splash Brothers. Anyway, it seems that Steve Kerr still has some faith in him left and will give him a last chance that's why there are no trade rumors involving him but if KT will not improve next season and bounce back, then I think we know what will happen next as I think that the 23-24 season is the last season on his contract.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 28, 2023, 08:36:53 PM
~snip~
That's because a temptation to keep gambling makes them continue to gamble. They will see more promotions coming up to make them curious. Curiosity triggers them to try to get it by depositing more money. They are not aware and continue to play gambling as usual, but all that exists is that they experience defeats that can even exceed their budget or limits. In addition, the desire to repeat gambling games will pull them deeper into gambling, and eventually, they will become addicted to gambling.

The key is to know when to stop, and for some people to know to never start.

The painful moment is when you have to stop because you don't have more money. And that can be a huge problem for many people, unfortunately.

Actually, this statement is easier said than done especially if you are not the one who are on their shoes to feel what it is like to be a servant of gambling with just having a limited choice because they already found it as a habit and so accustomed to play in the platform daily. But yes, for those who want to start their journey in the gambling industry or curious what it is like gambling, it is much better if they will not make that move as sooner or later, they will just regret it especially if they are not that ready.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 28, 2023, 08:14:44 PM
As for Ryan Garcia, his team are fighting GBP right now, so I doubt that he will have another fight this year.

Yes, before having any additional fights this year, Ryan and his team should clear up the problems with GBP first because I'm quite sure that GBP will not let Ryan Garcia have his way easily without him having the demands. Anyway, I also doubt that Ryan Garcia's camp is inclined to have another fight this year because they surely know that they need a lot more preparations before he can be ready for a next fight.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 28, 2023, 06:46:47 PM
I personally think that Messi can still play at the top level for the next 2 years, maybe even longer, and that he can still help Argentina a lot in winning new trophies.
Does anyone really think that Argentina no longer needs Messi and that he should retire and give young players a chance?
The best players should always play in the national team of each country, regardless of age. Just look at the example of Modric and Croatia.
Everything else is not important. Messi is the best player in the world and he should play, as long as he plays at the top level.
Only Messi will decide when he wants to stop football, it is not what will be decided for him. He has already taken up an advanced role in how he plays for in both Argentina and PSG where he just left, he provides assist for younger players to score and score important goals when the young players are unable to find a way. The Argentinian National team still need him as long as he can continue to deliver top quality. He did not stop other young players in Argentina from getting attention in the last world cup, players like Enzo Fernandez, and Alexis Mac Allister. Even if he plays in the coming world cup and Argentina cannot defend it, it will not change his record of winning it before.

Well, we are just speculating about his future in this sport and just basing by his words as he announced last week that he already has no plans in joining the team and play for the upcoming 2026 World Cup. Now, many of us here thinks that what's with the rush because just joined the Inter-Miami and a few couple of weeks ago and now he's saying that he's not inclined to play in the next WC. I particularly don't believe that what he said was final because he still have 2 more years to decide.
