Then consider GAME. Its looking to challenge that, with a 10% fee, with their game store in Q2....
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1266597.msg13083341#msg13083341
http://gamecredits.com/

GameCredits looks interesting but I'm not sure how much traction they'll get in the mobile space.

With a mobile game you have to try not to piss off the platforms.  It's easy for them to kick you and you have no recourse.  One of the things that really pisses them off is using alternate payment gateways.  They all require you to use their payment systems if you're selling virtual goods via their platform for use on their platform.  You just have to look at the 30% as part of your marketing spend and make sure you take full advantage of the network the platforms provide.

With Bingo Blitz we did eventually setup a web portal where you could play outside any platform, but the DAU and purchases on the portal were minimal because there were no benefits to using it for the players.  The contracts with the platforms usually require you to have consistent pricing across all versions of your game, so you can't discount your own platform over theirs.  (And can't favor Android over iOS either, etc.) Of course the bigger you get the less you can afford to piss them off, so you learn pretty quick it's not worth taking such risks.  The only real variation I see working would be something like this pre-sale we've discussed where the purchase is made before the game is available and they just get a coupon code they can plug in once the game is launched.

I actually want to disagree with burnside's claim that you have to only use the provider's platform for payments. Google and Apple have both been very pro-crypto lately, just anti-gambling. Considering they allow crypto wallets (which don't need their payment platform, therefore aren't paying anything, but are still taking fees on transfers), I see no reason why games wouldn't be looped into the same deal.
562  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] (Beta) PaidBooks.com - Get Paid to Read Books on: February 04, 2017, 06:00:36 AM

Also, since you are in Bitcoin Aliens, can you please help me?I 've been trying for weeks to get paid from Daily Doge, Incentive Wall and Alien Faucet (the one where you kill aliens).
The email confirmation click doesn't seem to work and nobody answers my messages. I think it's a technical problem of some kind but I can't get any help from anybody.

You could try cutting and pasting the confirmation link if clicking it doesn't work. But I wouldn't be too hopefull as the Bitcoin Alien group of faucets is widely reported as being a scam. They used to be good until early 2016 then they stopped paying.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=853374.580 Start reading around page 28.

Also, I'm not sure if listing your real name, email address, usernames, BTC addresses etc all in one post on a public forum is a good idea. There are a lot of shady characters here that might want to play around with it.

Good luck with your payment!

I read past page 28. All recent pages (not from 2016) show that it IS paying. So I'd trust current posts over those from 8+ months ago any day.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~MMOs ~Poker ~ 20+ Servers~ShapeShift.io ~RPG +More! on: February 02, 2017, 10:17:31 PM
price is dropping.... anyone knows why and when it will be back to 1,000 satoshi?

It's dropping because support is fading. Nobody has taken over the project yet, so it's stagnant. Unless this changes, expect it to crash.

HYPER still has support, roughly 130k HYPER has been sent to DKV2 within the last couple of weeks.

I personally sent over a large portion of that. I've still never sold off a single HYPER. That said, the claim that it has support right now... I don't see it, and it's dwindling down more and more. Obviously, it's in my best interest to see it jump back up, so I wish it all the best. I'm personally riding it to zero or hero, whichever is first.
564  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam Reliable? on: February 02, 2017, 10:14:27 PM
I visited some of these threads, and I find it difficult to trust opinions about lending investment from 2014.
We either want continuous discussion about current users experiences or new thread from time to time.

Very fair point, though I'd argue that the general sentiment is about the same between the two time periods (both have been rampant with scams). P2P is a HORRIBLE idea unless you have collateral or some way of chasing those you lend to (tip: BTCJam and other related sites don't offer EITHER. When you lose everything, you have zero recourse. It's what makes them all a scammer's dream).
565  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: @BTC_CHANGE_BOT Signature $$$ Earn from users turnover! on: February 02, 2017, 10:12:19 PM
You say that users with 10+ posts "receive additional rating" in the exchange. Can you elaborate on what this means?

Our exchange has rating of our traders. Like on LocalBitcoins.
So, the higher rating is - the more trader is trusted!
For e.g.
You made a deal on 1 BTC, deal is completed, if it was clear and without payment problems - you receive +2.3 points of your trading rating.

This is beyond shady, then. You're rewarding people based on post count on BCT? People scam here all the time. Just making posts doesn't make you a trustworthy person.
566  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinReform.com - exchange your coins on: February 02, 2017, 07:28:26 AM
Is the "CoinReform" fee on top of exchange fees, or is that the total fee (inc. exchange itself)? It's not really explained too well.
567  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for English native speaker (0.05 BTC for 1 hour of work). on: February 02, 2017, 07:25:48 AM
What do you need people to ultimately verbalize? "1 hour" of speaking is going to be much more due to mistakes, for example. So is it actually going to be around an hour's worth of work or is it an hour's worth of talking?
568  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Answer.Market: Answer questions for Bitcoin! on: February 02, 2017, 07:23:44 AM
I've had no customers for Answer.Market and since SporeStack is doing well and needing lots of my time, I've decided to shut down Answer.Market. coinfee.net will likely follow.

I've put the source up on Github if anyone else would like to continue with it: https://github.com/teran-mckinney/answer.market

Good job not giving up and pressing forward on other ventures, Smiley. I actually missed A.M entirely myself.
569  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam Reliable? on: February 02, 2017, 07:21:53 AM
Is btcJAM a reliable service to invest int? I just saw a few comments on where to invest BTC thread about BTCJam, checked their website as well. Looked like a reputable website, do any of you guys have invested there?
Should I invest there?

I registered an account at BTCJam last year and there were only 11 investment opportunities.
The platform is reputable, but i can`t say the same thing about most of the people who need loans there.
Even with all the verifications, there are people who refuse to pay their debts.
Yeah I have used btcjam for a long time ago but I never really made some huge investments in it like $100 only a few cents and some of loaners have refused to pay me, some of them are really good and they pay you fast and others just using to scam others.

Still if you want to try it you have to know more about the person you are dealing with and ask them amore about their project and never invest much in it.

What's your ROI so far? I get monthly emails. Out of around 30 people loaned to, I'm negative 7.88% there...
570  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get Real Referrals For ANY Bitcoin Related Website on: February 02, 2017, 01:12:40 AM
Well, so far I have received nothing significant, no significant number of visits and no conversions or even sign ups at ll. OP, please remove me from the vouch list and good luck.

sorry you feel that way. I want everyone to know that this membership will NOT magically make tons of people join under you...it takes time and patience to get real referrals and more time and patience to build a list of active referrals.

I'll take his spot if you want, and update weekly on the results.
571  Economy / Services / Re: Creating Gambling developer team. Who want to join? on: February 01, 2017, 05:36:21 AM
Hello,

I have good idea without bankroll and house edge 0%.
this is unique idea.

Who want join to me?

I create team of fans gambler and developer and designer.
I'm looking for enthusiasts who are willing to help me free of charge and we will be a team.

I need frontend & backend developer, designer, manager.

in the near future date we will get a good profit.

Thanks to all!

0% house edge is a red flag. What is the point of the site, if it's not making profit? Why would a developer help you? What do you plan to do with it? You're leaving out a LOT of important information.

why 0% house edge is red flag?
0% house edge will be few months only, after promo house edge = 1%

if developer have free time and wish have good profit in the future..
I'm beginer back-end developer.

0% HE is a red flag because it gives more than enough time for the site to tank if you're bankrolling it. If you aren't, how are players winning? Where is money coming from? Who's taking the risk?

BTCjam not guaranteed youre investment, if youre lending in btcjam
example, if person borrow youre money not pay, your bitcoin can gone and btcjam not replace youre bitcoin

And you don't get access to the borrower's information. BTCJam is the only one with it, and they have never (as far as I'm aware) pursued anyone. There is literally zero incentive to repaying loans there.
573  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CurrencyGuru - Exchange Comparison Website on: January 31, 2017, 11:08:43 PM
Hello, Bitcoiners!

We would like to introduce you to this new website: currencyguru.info

CurrencyGuru is the place where compare cryptocurrency exchange or keep up to date on algo trading, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
Whether you are interested in the cryptocurrencies pricing or you need an exchange markets comparison or stay updated about this world, here is something that you need.

CurrencyGuru include:

An Exchange comparison, We try a little at a time to include all exchanges and describe all aspects
A Currency census(1409 coins for now!) with informations like trendline, prices where find it and so on...
An universal converter
A little blog where sometimes are published articles

I like the concept and all! A couple things to request, though:

1) Ability to set up accounts and track a "portfolio" of sorts of coins
2) Ability to request new coin additions to the site (and exchange pairings, so if a coin gets added to a new exchange, someone can toss in a request)

Thank you everyone for your answers, It was a great experience to read so much ideas and suggestions! I hope it might help other people as well. I have received various messages offering various  jobs. Love this community!  Smiley

What sort of pay rate are you looking to obtain? This is essential for a lot of us to evaluate how well you'd fit in various roles (i.e., someone who wants top dollar for a job they barely understand won't cut it).

There's no penalty for not paying off loans, so scams are rampant. This is normal in the P2P loan world, though (at least in crypto), due to the lack of regulation. It's a high-risk, low-reward system.

It's worth adding that if you use the online wallet (mynxt.info) you will have to pay 99 NXT to get access to asset purchases. Otherwise you'll need to use the local client.

I'm neutral on this, let's give him a benefit of a doubt, maybe he knows something that we don't know yet,I hope one will come forward with a good rank and can give a neutral review if this is indeed legit or another doubler.

If he knew a way to keep tripling up, he wouldn't share it. Doubling every couple hours means you go from 1 BTC to 256 in under a day. In under a week, you own more than 40 MILLION BTC. If that isn't a sign it's fake, I don't know what is.
580  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining vs Hashflare Review - Which is better? on: January 30, 2017, 09:51:24 PM
So your data shows that the payoff time (ROI) is around 1.5 years. This assumes NO increase in global hash rate. It also assumes the current price of BTC remains. If you actually run the data with assumed increases (based on history), you will come up with a ROI payback time of infinity (meaning it won't happen).
