I can't believe I never heard of this pool before. This would have been a HUGE help when I was actively mining coins still. Haven't for a long time and it was back when 7950/7970s were the top. Wondering what a 7950 would pull now, if anyone happens to be running one.

Shouldnt this topic been removed since its almost a 100% ponzi and scam attemp to steal your bitcoins, and i hope someone do something otherwise we are promoting a scammer and some people may try this service to test and promote it ,no one would buy bitcoin for even 10 dollars difference between the price of big and trusty exchanges that their prices are very similiar, soo avoid being scammed .

Sadly, nobody bans scammers or removes their threads. It's obvious that this one is a horrible idea (giving someone something irreversible for something reversible is ALWAYS a bad idea, this thread or not) but nobody will stop these things from continuing to pop up.

Prices have been adjusted. Still looking for a buyer.

Nice! Much better. To confirm, is the SATA to USB cord like so it can be used externally?
1465  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in gambling site (what you think) on: May 07, 2016, 06:24:11 AM
investement in online is always a big time risk but if you can afford so much you can defnetly invest for gambling sites respective of security and trust. most of the trusting gambling sites who did invest there are making much more profit and there is no other problem.

Or you could lose money. Quit acting like it's a guaranteed profit. i.e., if you invested in SafeDice, you've likely lost 95%+ of your investment due to some heavy wins.

do you know exalty what stores are selling them?  how you know which stores?

There's not a list of the stores, sadly.

https://www.oculus.com/en-us/blog/oculus-rift-retail-experience-kicks-off-at-best-buy-locations-may-7/

And then news sources show that there's 48 participating. No list though.
1467  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: May 07, 2016, 05:57:10 AM
Banks are also trying to adopt to the changing times by introducing different services that help cater to the needs of their customers. Years from now, they may have a product which could rival bitcoin.

in fact some biggest bank now focus at blockchain technology and interesting to use blockchain system. maybe in future we can trace our bank transaction at blockchain.

I'm hoping their integration of this technology is done in such a way that they allow their clients to help secure their blockchains. For example, pay out $x per block and then let people help mine blocks, where you get paid as a result. Cuts down the cost for the banks and helps clients earn as well. Win-win.
1468  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone in USA can make at purchase Bestbuy-paying 60 USD in bitcoin on: May 07, 2016, 05:48:26 AM
If you can make a purchase on bestbuy willing to pay you 60 dollars in bitcoins to make an order for me today, today they will release a limited amount of oculus rifts, if you can grab it from the store. I would be willing to pay you a 60 dollar fee plus the cost of the Oculus rift, must be able to ship it to NY  or live in NY in USA.  My cousin will pick it up.  Let me know if there is anyone who can do this.  you must be on the online store before release time ready to make purchase cause you will have to be fast in checking out.  Im willing to put my bitcoins in escrow.

Not to be a jerk but this would come with a much higher premium than you're asking. That said, I didn't realize they were selling *any*, so thanks for the heads-up. Looks like it's only available at 48 stores, though, Sad.

I know but is worth a shot, to pay something at least, if I wanted to pay higher then I would get it on ebay for 950 USD, but I can see your point.  I would rather wait till July when prices will finally shoot down, and time go fast, I can wait

Yeah, FWIW, I'm waiting until the premiums are gone. I don't think there's enough to warrant actually springing for premiums at the moment. It still has a ways to go before it's actually worth it to me.

That said, good luck with this! Depending on how many are actually sold, it's possible that the premiums might diminish fairly soon.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 07, 2016, 05:45:59 AM
After recent developments now Bitcoin is essential part of every online gambling site when really wants to survive and grow bigger. Once with the Bitcoin there were many sites which appeared and now are bigger and well established.Bitcoin gambling is just at start and still there is huge potential in gambling with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has huge potential in Gambling and main reason for this is because of the fact Bitcoin Tx are anonymous and no can trace you.
You can put your black money in Bitcoins and get involved in Gambling without any risks.
I agree, without the support of the gambling industry bitcoin will not prosper, most of its users are gamblers because it brings good benefits to them compared to playing in a legitimate gambling site when you need to give your personal information. On other hand some merchants are already adopting to bitcoin and I can say that this is a good sign.

Bitcoin absolutely doesn't need gambling to prosper. I will say that things like DNM and gambling are what brought it into the spotlight, but it's a means of monetary transfer -- the possibilities behind that are endless. Even as simple as "I want to send you $1000." It doesn't even need merchandise sales or anything else.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 07, 2016, 05:25:32 AM
Yeah it is obious that gambling is finding more place in bitcoin. there is no problem in bitcoin gambling unlike fiat currency, you need not proove your identity and some website gives the user to place the bitcoin and exchange without even creating a account and just with the bitcoin deposite adress, there is no problem in payout charges and it is very simple and easy to gamble your favourite games with bitcoins

bitcoin gambling in the future will become increasingly popular, as are so many benefits if we use you bitcoin for gambling.
bitcoin gambling will further explode, if the biggest gambling sites accept bitcoin payments, as is usually the largest gambing sites have option very complete, also offers very high odds. I really hope to play gambling with bitcoin as that at 365bet

Unless BTC becomes more regulated. Keep in mind fiat isn't an issue because of how it's transferred, it's an issue because of regulation. It's not hard for governments to crack down if they want to.

New slot game, excellent. I'll be sure to give this a test when I have some spare Bitcoin.

They've been expanding pretty nicely, coming up with a lot of new changes/games to improve the site, Smiley. I love it!

I'm one of the founders (order 28) so I hope you have some awesome ideas Wink

1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 03, 2016, 06:58:55 PM
maybe if I was rich, I would not gamble anymore, because maybe I will travel around the world and see the vastness of this world, it is one of my wishes when I have a lot of money  Cheesy

You shouldn't be gambling to get rich, though. By its nature, it's a -EV thing. Your chances of ruin are much greater than those of making it big.

When will this share price pup up?
or at least div this year...

When the site gets into profit and has enough to pay out divs. I'm hoping to see this happen this year as well. It's been a while...
1477  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com -- Your Trusted Bitcoin Gambling Wallet (Upgraded Speeds!) on: April 30, 2016, 07:28:07 PM
It is amazing and pathetic that people put in so much effort to abuse the faucet. With a cool down of 5 minutes and a size of 2 bits, a bot could at most get 576 bits in 24 hours. That amount of bitcoin is worth only $0.26 at today's price, and then he probably has to spend a large portion of it on captcha solving and electricity.

$0.26. Now, if you have 10 accounts, that's $2.60. 100 accounts is $26. 400 accounts is over $100 a day passively. People go through ridiculous amounts of work just to steal under $1 around BCT. Thinking they wouldn't do the same for larger amounts is naive.

The first site when I get googling "captcha solving" asks for $1.2 for solving 1000 ReCaptcha. To get that $0.26, the abuser need to solve 288 ReCaptcha which would cost him $0.3456 if he uses that service. Of course I know nothing about that industry and there should be much cheaper service, but anyway his actual gain from an account should be very low. That's why I find the abusers pathetic.
Some sites offer cheaper rates then $1.2/1k captchas, so it can actually be profitable. You can also buy accounts with credit at some captcha solving sites for cheaper since some people still have balance but they don't have an use for it anymore. Yes, his gain per account is probably low, but like ranlo said - Having more accounts builds up. If you buy captchas at 0.8$/1k (some sites offer this rate), it costs 0.2304$ to get 0.26$. Small profit for the user, but if they have hundreds of accounts it can build up. Also, it harms MP a lot since they don't get money from captchas.
What about changing the captcha system from reCaptcha to something like SolveMedia so they earn money for captcha solves and balance out some of the loss from faucet bots?
http://solvemedia.com/publishers/captcha-type-in

These pay almost nothing. They're not useful for the purpose of earning money, and sometimes the captchas are more annoying (though it may help keep people from using faucets as much).
1478  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it profitable to run a dice gambling site? on: April 28, 2016, 07:44:10 AM
There's a ton more that goes into it than most would like to think, but us of course they're profitable! They wouldn't stay in operation if they were losing money lol. Gambling is a great way to go. People always like 'quick easy money'

Quite a few sites pop up that end up dying due to not going anywhere. Some run for a long time before this happens.

MoneyPot helps reduce the risk to site owners and help boost them up (bankroll is currently almost 500 BTC and all apps have access to that pool right from the get-go for bets). Along with that, app owners get guaranteed income based on each bet, so their only cost is whatever their own hosting is -- no risking money in a bankroll or anything.

Yeah but you also have to remember if money pot go's down your not earning anything.
Also if money pot gets rob you have no control an bye bye casino.
I'm not saying its a bad site i like the idea but it does have its negatives.

Such as downtime
Funds that you don't control.
If something go's wrong an they are down for a few hours to days what do you do then?
Cant make profit if users can't play.
If money pot shuts down so does your site.

I'm a fan of hot wallet cold wallet systems for the site an a proof of liabilities.
If you run a secure trustworthy site with investment capabilities they will come.

Yeah, this is all definitely true. But most people asking the questions like in this thread don't have the ability to:

1) Keep a site secured (i.e., user balances, investments, etc.)
2) Keep it all online (especially when they're dealing with incoming/outgoing transactions)

Not to mention there's risk involved. A player winning 50 BTC on a site where they are hosting 100 BTC would mean a loss of 50 BTC. On MP's platform, the site owner wins regardless, so even though the player won 50 BTC, the site owner also won.

That said, there's obviously the trade-offs you brought up.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will review the site. My site is not perfect but I am certainly honest and real and have a depth of experience with btc and alt coins that very few attorneys can claim. I do take exception to your equating your "grading" my sentence structure et. al.  with businesses that are "scams." I have been serving the public for 24 years. Please forgive me if there are any spelling, grammar or sentence structure errors in this reply. I do my best. Most importantly, I only charge when I can provide a service of value and have been giving free consultations in this area of law for the past two years. George D. Greenberg, Esq.

I was in no way insinuating that you're a scammer, incapable of doing your job, etc. My only statement was that it's ironic that your site has the same issues you relate to being scam sites -- no more, no less. I don't know you, I don't know what you've done in the past, and none of that is irrelevant in regards to my post. I'm not saying anything about your character or anything, and completely understand that not everyone is a great writer. It was just funny, :p.

Think of it as being like a person driving around a wrapped car bragging about how well they can clean cars, being the best ones around, yet always having their van covered in dirt and looking raggedy. It doesn't mean that they can't do a good job, it's just a bit of irony that if they're so good... well, you can figure out the rest.
