561  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan betting on Bitcoin on: September 16, 2017, 03:27:18 AM
I mean are you surprised by this news if true? Honestly, if true this only makes more sense to me why he said what he did the other day. But it is honestly sad how some will use and

abuse the platforms they have just so they can make some coin. This world is ruled by completed greed and this just goes to show how greedy already rich corporations are.

Yeah it was pretty obvious he had every reason in the world to say bitcoins are a fraud. The problem is, he doesn't even know the definition of fraud. What a dumbass. This guy is running a massive business? No wonder my bank is a bitcoin wallet on my phone. These idiots are driving their businesses into the ground.
562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you lost today, including profits. on: September 16, 2017, 03:18:47 AM
I lost... Many thousands in fiat. I won't get into the details but I was sub August 14th prices. That was a crappy chart to look at. This recovery was so much quicker and smaller than I thought it would be though. It's pretty amazing.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I told my grandma to put all her lifesavings in Bitcoin because you guys said on: September 16, 2017, 03:16:22 AM
You were extremely stupid to believe anything written here. You were extremely stupid to suggest it to her. She was even more stupid to follow through on it.

That's if any of it actually happened of course.

Lol don't worry. OP is just making shit up. My Grandma would never in a million years invest in something that isn't tangible. She just doesn't understand it.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dust has settled...how did you fare? on: September 16, 2017, 03:14:07 AM
Yeah well I feel like a real old timer. I'm not worried about the dips because I got in early enough that if we dropped 80% I would still be happy with what I have. It's not always about the fiat value. Sometimes it's just the fact that bitcoins are worth so much more than this and any buys now will seem so small in the future.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: September 15, 2017, 03:17:10 AM
I think that's where people have their logic wrong. It's not about trying to get more fiat anymore. Don't buy into the bankrupt government's worthless currency. Oh wait they aren't bankrupt! Just print more money to pay off the debt collectors. Perfect. Problem solved.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: September 15, 2017, 03:14:26 AM
Bitcoin's value is "volatile" but we're still up 200 or 300% this year. Who gives a crap? Honestly? Like at all? Hold on longer. Then the volatility will make no difference to you.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 15, 2017, 03:12:05 AM
Lol this whole bullshit "China is banning bitcoins" is already priced in at this point. We're down 30%± and I highly doubt that 30% of bitcoins are even owned by Chinese people. You think every single Chinese person sold? That's a joke. There are massive bitcoin farms and tons of bitcoin supporters. It can't be stopped. They were way too late.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin under $3000 and no chinese whales to buy on: September 15, 2017, 03:07:14 AM
Jeez. There is p2p, there is even decentralized exchanges on the blockchain

This ban is like banning alcohol in bars; it is like fighting windmills....

It will only accelerate the development of shadow markets and from a crypto point of view, this is a good thing - government  lose control. IMHO Chinese government will soon discover that controlled exchanges would have been preferable.

Meanwhile, in the real world, many countries are legalizing drugs to move them out of the shadow LOL  Cheesy

That's true. Canadian laws are getting more and more relaxed with pot. But China has gone the opposite direction with something just as 'radical. What a fail. They aren't 90% of the demand. It's all smoke and mirrors.
569  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTCChina Exchange is operating normally; no new directives from regulators on: September 15, 2017, 03:03:49 AM
Can we get an update? What is actually going on? We need to hear from you OP! We need to stop the bleeding!
570  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is everybody dumping Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2017, 02:59:38 AM
Newbies dump because they came in late and don't want to lose money. If they would just hang on and not treat bitcoins like a shitty penny stock we'd all be fine. I never sell. I'm doing a hell of a lot better because of it.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government backed currency on blockchains on: September 15, 2017, 02:56:06 AM
If a government-backed coin comes out at some point it will be as useless as fiat. There will be no limited supply and you'll always need to be increasing your stock pile just to keep up with inflation. Also they could just return payments. Is that even considered a blockchain at that point!?
572  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thoughts on YoBit? on: September 10, 2017, 03:09:22 AM
I've literally only heard of bad experiences so I never used them. They also seem to list pretty much anything which makes it seem like they don't care about quality coins, just anything that could get them any volume at all to earn a couple bucks.
573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin exchange on the deep web? on: September 10, 2017, 03:00:35 AM
Why not just use TOR with Poloniex or bittrex? Doesn't that pretty much accomplish the same thing? Try the XMR market lol Wink
574  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase ignored to solve problem & return money on: September 10, 2017, 02:57:03 AM
The more places you bug then the more likely someone will come across your post and help you. Try them everywhere, twitter, reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, just anything you can think of. See if you can find an employee's email online and send them a message.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 10, 2017, 02:51:58 AM
Lol we hit an ATH after this. So hilarious. Who do these people think they're fooling? I'm really not sad that I'm up 500% this year alone. I would honestly have been happy with 5-10% but that's not how bitcoins work at all at this time!
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this Cloud Mining site a scam? on: September 10, 2017, 02:47:35 AM
All cloud mining operations are a scam. If there is a legitimate one out there's right now it will be a scam in the future. Think about it, why rent out a miner to have you earn the profits when they already did the hard part? They had it shipped, they got it set up and running. If they make more renting it out than they would from mining then they're just scamming you, and if it's the other way around they're losing money. Neither makes sense so it has to be a ponzi.

TL;DR: Just stay away!!
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 10, 2017, 02:43:45 AM
I think most of them are anonymous so we'd never know. It doesn't really matter if it's a provably fair game. If Satoshi was a cat strangling teenager it wouldn't change the fact that bitcoins are a great invention.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be ready for more rumors and fud from China on: September 10, 2017, 02:41:25 AM
China and its people are manipulating bitcoin. It's the nature of their culture. Secrecy and a few getting rich.

Are they sneaky when they're in their ninja suits too? Your racism wasn't needed here. Also, isn't the point of communism the exact opposite of what you just said?
579  Economy / Auctions / Re: Rollin.io (BTC casino) is now for sale! on: September 10, 2017, 02:15:27 AM
Its sad seeing as the Bitcoin is going up , major old reputed projects are shutting down, Directbet.eu, Bitmixer and now Rollin.io , i wish rollin team a huge success in other fields.
Good Luck with your Auction.

Bitmixer said that they shut down on their own accord (although whether it's true or not is impossible for us to know). Rollin.io is just for sale. That's completely different. Just because a business is for sale it doesn't mean it's closing down or not profitable.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 10, 2017, 02:10:23 AM
I've never needed to exchange bitcoins and it's pretty hard to actually prove that someone owns bitcoins if they never claim ownership to them. Hide a private key in your floorboard. You now own some 'illegal bitcoins' until the people in your government realize they're too late, this currency already exists and they'd better embrace it before they're left behind by every other smart country out there.
