581  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If a rig uses 1kW/h does that mean 1kW/h of heat or less? on: October 02, 2011, 12:14:59 AM
My computer is kinda noisy, and if i was deaf i could still tell if it was running by feeling the desk, all that noise and vibration is still nothing compared to the heat it produces?

Somthing else you need to take in consideration is that if you consider a fetus to have all those rights way before it's much more than a simple organism, then shouldn't other similarly simple organisms have the same rights even if currently we don't have the technology to advance them to a similar level as an adult human?

I've been using http://dailybitcoins.org/ lately, you can get little bit once a day, it's ad funded so they don't mind you coming back, actually they want you to come back, and randomly you can get a little (and somtimes relatively a lot) more.

What is a "bottom forming process"?

585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Tenebrix needs Bounty Fund Directors...Who would that be? on: October 01, 2011, 07:54:50 AM
People shouldn't be able to propose themselves, or rather, those that vote on themselfs would have their vote ignored, and anyone with zero votes or less (i like to think of votes against as -1 vote, even if the total votes becomes negative) is definetly out.

Be careful though, i don't think eBay approves the use of the service to sell Bitcoins, you might not have much to do if you get scammed there.

You didn't backup your wallet?

What about the thing inside your control panel? "Notifications and email" i think
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade Bot forcing price down on: October 01, 2011, 03:31:16 AM
If two bots using that exact same algorithm were running on the same market, would that result into a downward spiral?

If you disable notifications it doesn't remove the thread from the list? What if you edit a post and modify the subscription options?

What about for example if you borrow money just to have a little extra in your wallet in case somthing unexpected happen, but it's not more than what you already have in the wallet or in the bank?
I don't understand - why would I need a loan to do that?  Why not just withdraw however much extra cash I wanted on hand out of my bank account directly?

Say for example you have 50 on your wallet and 50 on the bank, you wanna go somewhere that if your car breaks the return trip will be 100 bucks if you take a taxi, and you don't wanna have to leave the taxi waiting while you are in a line in the bank; in that case you could borrow a 50 bill from a friend, go to the place you wanna go, and then when you come back, if you car didn't break, you pay him back the same bill (otherwise you need to go to the bank before repaying him of course).

currently we have:

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.

i would like to see a combination called:

Show new replies to your posts since last visit.

so basically when you first click on it, it shows you all the new replies to your posts, but then it also CLEARS that list regardless of which ones you view on that visit.

i don't really need to see List of honest traders every single time i visit the forum, but i'm stuck with it being in my 'new replies' list.

If you don't wanna watch a thread anymore you can unsubscribe. Also, i don't always visit all the threads i have there in one go, i would hate not being able to come back and still see the stuff i haven't read yet.

And the separated list of unread threads for the whole forum is quite helpful, somtimes i wanna see what is new but i don't feel like checking each subforum one by one, that list is of great help.

Doesn't Greenpeace do that? (or tries to anyway)
