If any kid gets harmed for seeing a pic on the Internet, the parents should be arrested for neglecting to properly care for the life they choose to create.
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Destroying bitcoin, by coin, by coin... on: July 12, 2011, 10:02:59 PM
If you got enough processing power for the coins you destroy to make any difference, there are plenty other things you could be doing instead of destroying them that would be way more effective (though i still wouldn't expect you to be able to make much more than a tiny ripple in the ocean)
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to earn bitcoins? on: July 12, 2011, 09:34:38 PM
Why do you need my full name?
1106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should individuals have the right to build weapons of mass destruction? on: July 12, 2011, 05:11:13 AM
I forgot to reply to the main topic, here is my reply:

Build? Yes.
Own? Yes.
Use? Depends.
1107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is bitcoin? on: July 12, 2011, 05:09:07 AM
Bitcoin is.
1108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should individuals have the right to build weapons of mass destruction? on: July 12, 2011, 05:07:05 AM
You could use the nukes to power a badass cooling facility for your asteroid based rigs...
1109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to earn bitcoins? on: July 12, 2011, 03:47:45 AM
Don't those sites need you to spend money on a third-party to earn a fraction of what you spent back?
1110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do I deserve to die and do I deserve healthcare? on: July 12, 2011, 01:27:44 AM
IMO, humanity as a whole should try to find ways to reduce the cost for keeping anyone alive so that eventually all deaths (if any) would be an intentional decision and people would never be sentenced to death due to the costs of keeping them alive, regardless of who they are.
1111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If extreame paranormal investigating interests you...... on: July 12, 2011, 01:20:55 AM

The moment you experience the paranormal......I mean the exact moment you see..hear...or feel the supernatural, is a truly scary one. I

respect the views of those who do not believe, I did not myself, until I had a moment. And remember kids........it is very real......just as we are.
(my emphasis, to clarify what i'm replying to)
If we don't get too philosophical i can certainly have my existence and presence be scientificly proved under controlled conditions, unfortunatly the same can't be said of paranormal stuff.

Btw, here's a list of prizes such as the one i mentioned earlier
1112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do I deserve to die? on: July 11, 2011, 09:28:40 PM
I'm against death sentence even for the worst offenses, torture on the other hand...
1113  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Make me laugh for a bitcent on: July 11, 2011, 05:01:38 AM
Here's another one:
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone continue to buy bitcoins over market value? on: July 11, 2011, 04:36:55 AM
Replying to the question in the title: perhaps they are trying to manipulate the market and increase the value of the coins they hoarded ?
1115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to earn bitcoins? on: July 11, 2011, 04:08:11 AM
Keep an eye on the forums, every now and then someone offers to pay a little bit for somthing simple like advertising their site on your signature or telling a joke or somthing like that, and don't forget places like the Faucet (is it open again?)
1116  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Global Standard Bank - the first Bitcoin bank? on: July 11, 2011, 03:57:42 AM
That sounds quite suspicious...

Is the article carpetbombed with [citation needed] or what?
1117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If extreame paranormal investigating interests you...... on: July 11, 2011, 03:44:11 AM
If you believe your evidences can survive scientific scrutiny instead of doing a show you should try for those big money prizes for anyone that can prove the existence of paranormal stuff; there are quite a few last i checked, including one for over ten thousand USD IIRC
1118  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Should we buy bitcoin.com ? on: July 11, 2011, 03:35:49 AM
Many big sites out there buy their equivalent domain in .com (and somtimes in a few other popular TLDs) and redirect to their intended URL when someone tries to use the wrong ones they caught; helps bring people when the addy is typed wrong as well as when the browser tries to guess the URL when the user types a word without a TLD (i've seen some browsers do that, even some that also do google searches, if it's a single word, first they try checking if there is a .com with that word before going to Google)
1119  Other / Off-topic / Re: New BitCoin Comic on: July 10, 2011, 09:42:39 PM
I guess i overestimated the accuracy of my proprioception
1120  Other / Off-topic / Re: New BitCoin Comic on: July 10, 2011, 08:41:36 PM
Everything was new so the wear wouldn't be obvious, and i didn't wanna have to disassemble everything looking for little smudges in the wires.
