But wasn't Quixote actually insane, attacking useful constructions thinking they were monstrous enemies?

Not everyone will know what to do with the first few bits highlighted, with the link they see what's the point of highlighting the first bits. With time as Firstbits get more well known the link will loose importance, but meanwhile i think it helps.

On a show, i think it was on the Discovery Channel, they said that nowadays big diamonds are almost never found anymore 'cause the machines they use to break down the dirt to get to diamonds also breaks the bigger diamonds before any human has the chance to see them.

The windmill should not be together with them (i don't mean not in the same pic, just not be a part of the mob)
1188  Other / Off-topic / Re: Very annoying: unnecessary abbreviations on: July 02, 2011, 02:45:50 AM
I try to use "they" as as often as possible, but somtimes i feel kinda unconfortable when i'm talking about someone in specific, specially if it's someone that will be reading what i said; and somtimes i feel kinda insecure about people thinking i'm writing wrong or will simply not understand what i'm saying...

Are you searching for the big thread to read it or do you need one of us to do it for you?

Didn't he also wrote "counterfeit" inside the article body itself?

1194  Other / Meta / Re: I can't set my avatar? on: July 01, 2011, 07:23:28 PM

1197  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitcoin-Qt, the future Bitcoin client GUI [user input needed] on: July 01, 2011, 06:06:31 PM
Two suggestions:

First, how about making the transaction history collapsible, and hidden by default, showing just a dashboard thingy when collapsed; the dashboard would should how much money was sent, how much money received and the current balance, with optionally also displaying the the unconfirmed amounts for each one of those as well as the what each value would be if you add up the unconfirmed transfers to the confirmed (perhaps even allowing people to specify which of those they wanna show, and perhaps even a compact mode showing just the currently avaiable total (with the count of unconfirmed transactions shown in the statusbar or somthing, and when clicked it gets expanded to show the unconfirmed transfers)

And regarding the block count display, how about showing somthing like 123456/234567 (and 123456/? when the current total count is unknown) ?
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Paypal did it - Bitcoin should do the same - 10BTC Bounty for implementation on: July 01, 2011, 05:42:06 PM
How different is this from an exchange/online wallet service?
1199  Other / Meta / Automaticly search for similar topics before allowing one to post? on: July 01, 2011, 05:39:07 PM
I've seen several threads posted by newbies (and some by people with a bit more time on the forum) that are pretty much remakes of pre-existing threads; what if before posting, the system did a search using the title and (perhaps the body of the post as well) and displayed a list of possible pre-existing versions of the thread sorted by likelihood of being a duplicate, asking the poster to confirm if their new thread is indeed new? (people with enough time/post count on the forum could be given the option of turning of the search confirmation thing)
1200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin symbol adjustment proposal on: July 01, 2011, 05:30:10 PM
There has already been several threads discussing adopting an official symbol and making it typeable, including a big one that even spawned an article in the Bitcoin wiki
