Looking at the "Similar Articles" box it seems over there they mostly just wanna make people think Bitcoin is a bust...

It is infinitly divisible (up to 8 decimal places right now, easily expandable with a modification of the client); so even if at one point there is only a total of 1BTC circulating in the whole world that will still be more than enough

Besides the checking thing, people with lots of posts have had lots of chances to publicly screwup bad and get banned, so having lots of posts is an indicator you aren't an obvious scammer or somthing

A trustworthy newbie has less means to be verified as trustworthy. But i guess a untrustworthy oldbie still got a bigger chance of tricking people than an untrustworthy newbie 'cause not everyone is gonna go thru the trouble of checking their previous posts and googling their usernames etc.

At the beginning, before it started looking like it was gonna hold at that price for a long time, i would probably be buying quite a bit more than i would if the price kept going up from now.

IMO it would be better to not put any significant restriction, and just give people the means to ignore the ones each person dislikes
|

Allow them, but give people the option of "muting" individual signatures (without necessarily muting the posts from that person too). Also an option of toggling between images/links (the URL for the image or the URL you go if you click on the image in case it's a link) for individual sigs (as well as for all of them them at once) would be awesome.
