1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shout Out To AnonX For The 37.5 BTC Fo' FREE on: July 04, 2011, 11:37:46 PM
...and I will MITM your doodie hole or something of the like.

...

So you're gonna be the filling in a gay sandwich? ¬.¬
1162  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I got a centrifugal fan - Can anyone provide guidance on wiring? on: July 04, 2011, 11:33:30 PM
Does the manual got text describing those steps or just the pictures?
1163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now you can't freeze their assets, what tools do we have left? on: July 04, 2011, 10:50:38 PM
So it's busyness as usual except the first weapon is not as strong?
1164  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now you can't freeze their assets, what tools do we have left? on: July 04, 2011, 10:45:18 PM
And how do you stop others from doing that? How do you monitor companies, countries etc?
1165  Other / Politics & Society / Now you can't freeze their assets, what tools do we have left? on: July 04, 2011, 09:55:43 PM
When Bitcoin gets big enough, plenty of those asshole dictators out there will start using it instead of gold, dollars etc.

Alright, we aren't gonna do anything to undermine the power Bitcoin gives us; so, what tools do we have to try to force those evildoers to behave, and in which order do you suggest we use them?
1166  Economy / Speculation / Re: $/BTC Time Series Analysis on: July 04, 2011, 09:42:48 PM
I'll rephrase: how good is your system at predicting the past? Pretend we're 6 months ago, if you had the system set the way it is now, how off would the prediction be from what really happen in these last 6 months?
1167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm an undeserving early adopter, and here is my side. on: July 04, 2011, 09:37:54 PM
Everything is luck if you follow the chain of causality deep enough
1168  Economy / Speculation / Re: $/BTC Time Series Analysis on: July 04, 2011, 09:21:00 PM
How does your current formula match previous periods? (go back in time, ignore things after that and make a prediction then match with what actually happened)
1169  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitDrop (or ShadyDeliveryNetwork), a non-robotic courier system on: July 04, 2011, 09:15:12 PM
I forgot if this idea has been mentioned, how about using onion layering (like on TOR),  so each element of the delivery chain only knows their part and there is less need to keep online communication going between each step?
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect bitcoin from an Electro-Magnetic Pulse? on: July 04, 2011, 08:33:44 PM
Btw, is the effect of a solar flare more like an EMP or more like a massive microwave gun?
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect bitcoin from an Electro-Magnetic Pulse? on: July 04, 2011, 12:52:45 AM
Have you tried putting a CD on a microwave oven? Is that too far from an EMP?
1172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do libertarians support the idea of information as property? on: July 04, 2011, 12:45:51 AM
I doubt anybody wishes to purchase counterfeit products. Nobody likes being lied to. This whole trademark debate can be thrown under a true law called fraud.

In addition, to say trade secrets would be forever hidden is to say that somebody that has a Bitcoin will forever hold it.

I have nothing against paying a fair price for the quality and getting a nice looking product as a bonus. Trying to trick people into thinking it's somthing it isn't, is not somthing i welcome though.
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitPonzi: GLBSE pyramid scheme! on: July 04, 2011, 12:38:16 AM
I'm confused...
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect bitcoin from an Electro-Magnetic Pulse? on: July 04, 2011, 12:29:42 AM
My bitcoins are safe because they're on a Paper Bitcoin Wallet.  (see sigline)
Paper is only safe from hackers that don't act on meatspace as well, and also it still doesn't rule out the possibility of data corruption
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we should ban those ponzi game post on this forum on: July 03, 2011, 08:02:36 PM
I'm quite proud of my English, but there are still a few stupid mistakes i let slip by once in a while
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we should ban those ponzi game post on this forum on: July 03, 2011, 07:45:52 PM
Loosing in an openly ponzi/pyramid scheme game should at least earn you the rank of nominee to the Darwin Awards...
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect bitcoin from an Electro-Magnetic Pulse? on: July 03, 2011, 07:41:29 PM
Are flashdrives really safe from an EMP?

And btw, does a faraday cage still protects a computer if it's plugged on the wall and on the Internet (if not using fiber to get the 'net inside the cage) ?
1178  Other / Meta / Re: I can't set my avatar? on: July 03, 2011, 07:12:10 PM

1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm an undeserving early adopter, and here is my side. on: July 03, 2011, 06:41:33 PM
Unless somthing major happens, in a year or so from now, i'm expecting that people that buy now, if they didn't spend the majority of what they bought, they are gonna have made quite a profit, perhaps even similar to what people that bought an year ago made.
1180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you still use bitcoin when it gets banned? on: July 02, 2011, 05:48:33 AM
Lol, awesome!

Are you gonna upload it when it's done? I would like to read it (or at least skim thru depending on the size)
