581  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to have a Corona virus sub-board? on: September 02, 2020, 02:41:07 PM
I don't think we need one especially if we think about how the coronavirus has changed our way of living it is inevitable to see it being mentioned in several topics especially things related to the economy. Just as long as the thread is on topic and it is created in the right section I don't see it violating anything in our rules. But for off-topic posts related to COVID-19 purely and is on the wrong board I think reporting them or just moving it to the off-topic section is a good solution.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news and Bad news about economy on: September 02, 2020, 02:16:20 PM
Is this some kind of troll post in the Economy section again? Because the moment I see Belarus and European Union in one sentence I know that this ain't happening already. Belarus isn't even part of the European Union and as of right now the situation in there country have worsened with them being ruled over by a dictator, from what I know there's a lot of protest going on as well as there economy stagnating, right now their fiat currency is devaluing itself. So this statement of Belarus alone is enough for me to tell you that your predictions/analysis is inaccurate.

Messi’s going nowhere, we’ve seen this before with him. I’ll be shocked if he leaves Barca this summer.

There is a lot of contradicting reports out there all surrounding Messi no being able to attend Barca's training. Some news say that his was part of his plan leaving this summer some news say that Messi already signed a contract on his intent on leaving Barca but most of these news are not official yet and even the staffs in Barca are not giving any additional information about it. There is a chance that Messi will still be in Barca next seasom but without any official news and Messi denying it publicly I see that the current news spreading has traction in it.
Currently too much chaos about messi around in media and his father is likely to meet Barcelona President so I am also feeling its very unlikey he is going to leave Barcelona and why all happening its really strange because today they fined him for not attending covid-19 test and practice Ronaldo is also feeling he is not going to leave Barcelona. https://sputniknews.com/sport/202008251080273739-ronaldo-deems-messi-leaving-fc-barcelona-very-unlikely/

Usually when players are asking for representatives for a meeting at their current club it only means a bad thing at least on how I view things. Like why do you want your own father to meet with a club you are currently signed with? Isn't that something strange to do as you are a player of that club and you are meeting a parent of that player.  But like I said earlier the news is still unclear so far and the media is taking advantage of it creating false or fabricated news just to bait us from reading them that's why right now I'm staying out of the Messi rumour mill because everything is still unclear so far.
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: There Bitcoin goes again. on: September 02, 2020, 01:05:42 PM
I don't know if I'm looking at a different chart but Bitcoin using tradingview right now is priced  at 11,450$, yes Bitcoin had gone up at 12,000$ but it didn't stay at that level very long since it closed the day at 11,660$. Like I have been telling for several days now it doesn't matter how quickly we push the price and how big it is as long as we have weak volume our price surge will just be a surge and nothing all.
585  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-08-20] Restaurant Converts Entire Cash Reserve to BTC following Cov19 on: September 02, 2020, 12:14:31 PM
Bitcoin has pumped! The restaurant owner must be feeling he is like an investment expert now hehehe. He might be searching on coinmarketcap.com and beginning to speculate why not put some investment in Defi or ICO hehehehe.

Bitcoin already pumped before the restaurant owner has bought his position of Bitcoin he said that the resto had undergone a momentary crisis and then their cash reserved has swelled that's why he is looking for investment opportunities even after Bitcoin has pumped. This is the problem I am seeing that he transferred his cash reserve to Bitcoin even if the train already started, now the resto owner is holding his position without any margin of safety and at the same time there is uncertainty of Bitcoin going up. He is actually risking more now and I think he is in a bad position to think of other investment opportunities in the market.
586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can StableCoin address of a CryptoCurrency exchange be frozen? on: September 02, 2020, 11:45:56 AM
Regardless if it is Stablecoins or normal cryptocurrencies Exchanges can be frozen with the power of court orders signed by judges or SEC issuing them a direct order to do so. Yeah I know some Stablecoins have the power to freeze your address but all of this are useless as we are talking about legally operating exchanges here and they are also under the government's power. The only time this will be useful I think is for crypto exchanges where they are running illegally without any license, this will be handy for them.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Experiment: A documentary about how real world is on a death spiral on: September 02, 2020, 10:31:27 AM
Will be watching this when I have VPN. But mostly we will hear the same thing as before about the topics involving Fiat currencies and how Bitcoin can be the solution for the upcoming financial crisis. Well we have seen it before during March of 2020 where even all of the markets are down including the crypto market Bitcoin was the first one to recover and it is pushing up right now. We can actually say that Bitcoin can be a good option when it comes to situation like this as fiat will definitely be affected everytime their is a economic crisis going on.
588  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: FCA’s proposed changes to AML reporting could catch out crypto exchanges on: September 01, 2020, 11:36:21 PM
FCA has long been trying to cover cryptp exchanges amd that is what they are trying to do now with the AML procedures being applied to them. Crypto exchanges can really be used for illicit activities that's why things like KYC and AML procedures are needed as it involves financial transactions like what banks are doing. Yeah it may look like we are always under the radar when it comes to us giving our information but as long as we aren't doing anything illegal there is nothing to be worried about.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the idea of decentralized stablecoin on: September 01, 2020, 10:47:19 PM
If we are talking about decentralized stablecoins we are talking about mostly crypto-collaterized stablecoins which are backed by other cryptocurrencies to make it stable. Yeah they already exists in the market and from what I know just as long as you are looking for a non-fiat-backed stablecoin the stablecoin will most likely be decentralized, just search DAI as an example.
590  Economy / Reputation / Re: Give this user an attention on: September 01, 2020, 09:14:21 PM
I actually posted in his last China topic thinking that there was some sense in his claim and what he lacks is just an actual argument as well as hard evidence against China with the pandemic happening. But with his last topic I actually think that this guys is just really trolling us now with his topic saying cryptocurrencies are dead and crypto being not a currency anymore. Yeah we might consider these types of guys as being trolls in the internet but based from my experience these types of trolls in the forum just comes and go so ignoring them can be easily done.
591  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's time to destroy China, don't buy anything from them ,don't deal with them on: September 01, 2020, 08:20:01 PM
We may not have the same views with China but from what I see several countries have the same views as you saying that China is the one liable here and I think they have the right to blame anyone especially when you think about them silencing the media and controlling the spread of the outbreak itself in there country. Some countries are actually starting to pull out their operations from China like Japan who started to move out there factories from China in order to show that they didn't like their actions against the pandemic. But if you think about it deeply if countries and companies started pulling out of China in their own will you be willing to handle the increase in prices of products made cheap because there expense have gone up?

593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 01, 2020, 01:45:35 PM
Really depends on how the bull run will be moving during that time. If it is similar to 2017 where it only lasted for a few days I won't be hodling it as much as I hodly my holding during that time, I won't wait for some kind of green light and just wait for my target price to be reach and sell all of my hodlings. But if the bull run is actually stronger in terms of its stableness when it is climbing up I might just sit down and observe the movement until I see some wild price actions. Definitely every bull run will have some kind of fall as this is how the market cycle works so I'll make sure that I'll maximize this next bull run in the market.
594  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-08-01] How the FBI tracked down the Twitter hackers on: September 01, 2020, 12:23:33 PM
They aren't really smart by pulling this Twitter hack proven by them using the same email on creating various accounts counting Coinbase as well. The hack itself isn't their plan based on the stories I have seen someone leaked the vulnerability of Twitter and how easy they can hack multiple accounts from it and they probably just tried it out and see if it works from them. FBI with the help of IRS and their data made this  huntdown for them possible and if they really have used a Coinbase account to receive all of those crypto then there is a big chance that all of the stolen cryptocurrencies will be recovered by the authorities.
595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wrong conception on: September 01, 2020, 10:22:20 AM
I think the general idea here is how newbies can easily be fooled by giving away not only their private keys but also the passwords and emails they have on phishing websites and applications. Yes there is a big misconception about wallets and private keys with newbies but what I don't get is why are there still newbies getting fooled by phising websites. These kinds of traps in the internet existed long before cryptocurrencies became popular so I still wonder why people are getting scammed by these. Maybe people are just too gullible when it comes to “easy money” stuff they see in the internet.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A normal Venezuelan getting helped using Bitcoins, even more in 2020 on: August 31, 2020, 10:32:22 PM
The way I understand the news is that Venezuelans aren't actually using Bitcoin directly but is receiving it via remittances and then exchanging it to USD which is also accepted in their country now. This is something that is possible since their friends and families might be using Bitcoin as their way to send money and is really a good alternative for them to skip a few charges. They might now be using Bitcoin directly but has adopted/adjusted just because it is the cheaper way to receive money from them.
597  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India Is Looking To Introduce A Law To Ban Bitcoin, Imprisonment Of Up To 5 Year on: August 31, 2020, 08:57:47 PM
why some threads says ban and some say legal https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230499.0
Let me give you the time line
In 2018- RBI banned bitcoin transactions from banking channels. Therefore even though bitcoin wasn't illegal exchanges can't open a bank account therefore were shut down. P2P was working
In 2019- government made a committee to know the shortcomings in cryptocurrency and therefore were considering to ban it (have not banned it are just considering to ban it)
In 2020- Supreme court of India lifted the ban of RBI and exchanges have reopened

Now once again there are speculations that it will be banned again. But it's Not yet banned it's just in consideration of being banned.

This is about right but the problem here is really RBI since even if the Supreme Court had made a decision about the ban they are now using their power in pushing their lawmakers to create a law banning crypto overall in the country which really is a disgrace in their justice system. It's like they don't want the SC's decision and will now go another route just to be "right" on banning crypto which isn't really sensible. I don't know why RBI wants to push this kind of law but I hope their lawmakers are actually smarter than them and see that the crypto industry is more beneficial to their country rather than be harmful to them.
598  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Address Balance Checker (Web) - Check balance of addresses in a browser on: August 31, 2020, 08:08:08 PM
Can you confirm that this won't be accurate to addresses on a custodial wallet app? Since from these types of wallets they can perform off-chain transactions which will not be detected in the Blockchain. Since I'm pretty sure that it will calculate the balance incorrectly on custodial wallet addresses incorrectly if that happens.
599  Other / Meta / Re: Asking For A Pardon - Banned for Plagerism 2 Years Ago on: August 31, 2020, 07:44:47 PM
I'm going to disagree with your dismissive characterization of my post history.  All of my posts were on-topic and kept the conversation going.  I admit to the offense I was banned for and stood by for 2-years before asking for a second chance here.  If I am not eligible for a second chance then what do I have to do to prove I can contribute to the forum?

Kept the conversation going? If you mean bumping a thread or flooding the thread with spam then you are doing a good job. But if you mean actually conversing with people to the topic at hand I see no evidence that this is going on as you don't even reply back to the topics here. Your post history is filled up with trash or updates in the bounty campaigns you are participating in and that's a general summary of your post history. I don't see how this can be counted as a "contribution" to the forum when you aren't really contributing in the forum at all.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing about Australia on: August 31, 2020, 07:01:07 PM
Uhmm at which part of that Stimulus announcement mentioned that Australia will be printing more money as there response to the COVID-19 pandemic? Because from how I understand the addition 66.1$ AUD will be coming from the reserve bank of Australia and not from printing it. TBH if Australia thinks that they will be helping the economy through printing more money they are actually gonna worsen the situation of their economy if they did that as printing more money is never a solution to any financial crisis. If you think that this will boost some kind of adoption for Bitcoin then think again, the price against AUD might go up but it will just be from inflation and not actual demand for Bitcoin.
