Hey all,
Shown up to the game super late. Everyone is using ASIC, running at light speed.
I was wondering has anyone that uses a pc, considered VCPU? 1core could safely fit 8 processors. I have an i3 so I'm going to test this out until my unit arrives.
To the pool operator, thanks! I love your pool, and wish more where as transparent and efficient as litecoinpool.
you can but it might be a waste, id go for XMR or monero coin with that set up right now that coin goes for 20 bucks a coin and is mainly a cpu mining coin but as all ways your welcome to try that out on this pool. I'm not the pool operator.....

try one other thing plug one of the cards into the motherboard direct don't use any raiser cards plug into the PCIE 16 X slot on the motherboard that MB has one the rest are X1 slots if that works then check how you are powering stuff etc and make sure you RC are good ones other wise no idea other then reset the bios at the mother boards jumper then try or re install windows sense you can see the mother boards post screen use a USB boot drive or CD .. that should let you re install windows ..or do a windows PE install with a boot able usb Drive that seems to install faster and better. then doing it the Setup.exe way .. wish i could help more or see it, i can probable get it working if i had it in front of me ... Cya and GL PS : last thought make sure the card you are using with the monitor is plugged in to the x16 slot with the rasiser cards and not any of the x1 slots or it may let it boot but won't show a picture after the post boot screen of the MB ...but boot into windows .. or If you have an Intel board and have network connectivity issues or are unable to successfully boot with multiple GPUs, follow the below instructions: If you have many GPUs, make sure that no GPU is plugged in directly to any 16x slot. Risers must be used for all GPUs. Unplug all GPUs except for gpu0 (ignore all 1x slots, gpu0 is always the 16x PCI-E slot physically closest to your motherboard's CPU socket). If your motherboard has molex or PCI-E onboard power jacks, make sure to plug the correct cable into them. Upon boot, go into the motherboard bios and set the following options (set as many of these options as you can find): set BOOT ON POWER to ENABLE (enables rig to boot by flipping PSU Power Switch). set VTd INTEL VIRTUALIZATION to DISABLE. set ONBOARD AUDIO/SOUND (AZALIA) to DISABLE. set IEEE1394 to DISABLE. set PCI-E SUBSYSTEM/LANES to x8/x4/x4 set ONBOARD GRAPHICS to DISABLE. Save changes and reboot. that comes form here http://ethosdistro.com/kb/#booting-intel-boards

did it ever boot into windows ? . if so did you install in the new amd drivers and is your cards bios molded if so that's might be why it may or may not boot into windows because of those drivers they use driver sighing .. I think windows 8 after so many failed reboots may offer you a blue screen asking to use trouble shooting go into that in safe mode and un install your drivers and then try . it sounds like a driver issue .
Ive got a bad R7 370 that will only work now if there is no drivers installed other wise it goes blank after the post boot no windows but in your case it may the drivers with a molded bios.. there not bad .

Try with one card first ? ...
I use that Mother board and same CPU and 8gib of ram with five cards, i haven't tried with a 6 th one yet .. so far no issues for me and it's rock Solid ...
POST some Screen shots if you can .. of your set up or give a little more info like the OS you use ? ... windows , Linux.. ive found Linux is more stable then windows to use for mining and i like windows more but use Linux on my mining rigs . to many crashes or blank screens and other issue with windows ...
how big is the SSD, HDD your using i use at least a 32 GIB SSD to be safe ... you can get by with a 16 GIb SSD ..

Anyone selling L3's currently? I have A4's, but would like to try an L3 for the reduces power consumption.
I bought mine on https://www.eastshore.xyz . The shipment was fast and nice, but I can only mine on antpool... They have a nice download section and should be able to give good support, so far the A4 136 MH, i bought from them runs great i had to get a better PSU then what i was using one of the Blades on the A4 kept dropping off so i replaced the PSU now it holds up .... but saving for a L3 .. or might get a another A4 this time 280 MH for about the same price. LINK to the new PSU , it is brand new or the one i got is .. http://www.ebay.com/itm/232259820738?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT but i see you fixed it firewall .. I'm just worried more about how long the L3 will run but want one ..

There might be something wrong with my A4 it keeps dropping one board then the other one maybe two mins later it is a B3 i was told and it is running 202 beta it was running ok till last nite then it started doping one board first now it's both, I left the voltage @ 815 like the seller said do and hadn't really done any OC, i swiped out the PSU hoping that was it, both boards are stating to act up ...I really hate to ship it back to china. I hate this shit of being force to use a old out dated OS on a old out dated rusting PI they sell that is inside the controller that takes for ever to install something that may not install .. man i hope INNOSILICON see the light of this wisdom and let us use our own controller's with Ubuntu 16 in my case the dropping boards may have something to do with the OS and how bad it is and also either give us the cables to run it off any PI hell im even pay for them if that's a problem just make them reason able ...and not some stupid greedy price , I'll make my own once they let us if they let us use any RPI or PI type ......if the price is stupid !!!! wheezy is old, i don't think even https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/ supports it any more sigh ....I remember reading some place a year ago that support was being drop for wheezy.... upgrade to Raspbian.. i would rather use my own RPI 3 if I have to be forced or limited to a RPI and Ubuntu 16 .... so I may not buy another A4 till they fix the limited controller issue to me that is a big issue and may be another issue causing the boards to drop .....I was giving it some thought of buying another half till the boards started acting up if they are ..EastShore Mining Devices has them back in stack for 899 a 100 bucks more then i paid for this one ... Don't get me wrong l love the miner the power it uses and small form factor but my Alchemist with 5 working boards and jstefanop firmware with BFG support runs better then this does on most pools, ...IF jstefanop was to write one for this if he hasn't yet i would gladly pay him 60 bucks for a copy .... even 60 bucks a miner if he requested it that's fair to me ... The sound is no longer a problem for me let it run at full spin i have in a room in my basement that is sound proofed, i may turn into a miner room soon with one window so venting won't be a problem, if i do ... Last thought for those who don't know the SD card has to be a 8 GIB or less the slot size has to be Class 10 SDHC Card or the big one in this case 8 gib or the OS wont fit it .. and using a big slot adapter with the little standard card won't do it or using a 16 GIB card with SDHC support didn't work for me, i forget that pI only takes one size card slot wise i think and never allowed use any thing over 8 GIB...with that OS ... I know no one cares but that's how i feel and gonna say it any way ......

Is there a way to use awesome miner with ethos ethminer? Do I need to enable api?
you have to use AM as a monitor and use any of the miners ethOS offers but that miner has to offer some kind of API access and set up AM as a network miner, i use Ethos and monitor two rigs using CM 12.4 as the miner . I don't think you can set up a managed miner in Linux with AM it only runs with windows in remote or as the main controller, you may be able to run it in Linux with boot camp, i think it's called can't say,I never used that and don't care to .....I only use Ethos because it is more stable then windows and not because of AM .. The same thing should work if your are using the free version of ethos the miner has to allow some form of API access or it won't work or use the Generic miner way in AM if it doesn't but that doesn't do much but let you see what the miner is doing with AM ... if that's all you need you set that up with managed miner but it is very very limited in what it does but you can see the miner or GPUs .I'M not sure if that works with Linux only tried it with windows..

Awesome Miner verison 2.4.1 has been released: - Added rule trigger for Ping timeout - Display miner API response time on summary tab - Claymore's Zcash Miner 12.4 and Claymore's Ethereum Miner 8.1 - Corrections to Managed Template implementation and connection stability
so far so good ::: i didn't even know there was a 12.4 cm out yet, i hadn't looked, it down loaded over to the remote PC, everything seems good now . Thanks again i still plan to max out my copy of AM, taking care of some others things first ... any issues, i will let you know in a email as requested.

f I say 7.10 cents per KWH in my case that is with out fees with no limits by that I mean time of day that across the board all the time for me with fees it totals out around 12 cents a KWH .... all year long ...i shop for fixed prices...but my prices are high because of were i live ...or state I live in ...my fees scale with what i use my power is a fixed price i wish i only had to pay 7.10 cents per khw and we can pick who we buy our power from the fees are from the power company that deliverys it ,so i'm about the same you are ... the plus side to beadle to pick who we buy from is the lower the price the lower the fees are .. i guess ...

patrike did you get my logs just making sure ... I'm still having some issue using 2.3 on a remote PC while using 2.4 on the main PC or even using 2.4 on the main rig with 2.4 remote but was fine using 2.3.1 on all rigs ...I would go back to 2.3.1 on all Rigs but i only saved the remote version for 2.3.1 ...
The issue are still the same as posted above 2.4 remote won't load on the remote PC well even if it does and some times it can be a bear getting 2.3.1 to work with 2.4 on the main rig ..
and atm on two remote RIGS use ethos i have found Linux is more stable then win 10 using 3 or more GPU's per rig ... not faster just a lot more stable ......and use awesome still to monitor those RIGS it's the other rigs having issue that I have windows on still with awesome miner ...My main PC will all ways use windows (because i would rather use windows ) and have two cards in it but it gets used for everything including mining ... the other windows rig has two cards and is kind of like my main PC but used mostly for mining.Right now the two ethos rig have three cards each, one has all 470 and the other one has two r7 370 and one r9 280, is used mostly for ZEC amd xmr mining the 470 rig is used for eth mostly and some ZEc depends on the prices ..next month i plan to get at least one more 470 for the 470 rigs it is slowly building it's a hobby for me and i just bought a 136 MH A4 in two month should be able to buy A L3 i may never go back to direct BTC mining.
