The rules say that you can have alts and there's no rule saying you can't post in the same topic with your main and your alt.
Of course that's against the rules - you're spamming/bumping/double posting your own opinion multiple times in order to deceive users that there is a consensus of opinion on a topic when there is in fact none.

Dear mods: It is my understanding that I'm allowed to bump my own thread once every 24 hrs, as long as its subject remains unresolved.
As long as the subject wasn't trash to begin with, and more participation increases it, and its not trolling. I don't think you meet any of the requirements to 24hr bump this thread.

Actually there is Zero info for a designer to start working on a miner board at the moment Its available under NDA almost immediately, and test chips after a few more hoops.

Neat! Hoping for passive cooling.
btw, these are 30.000x more efficient than my zTex x1.15 in 4 years. Not bad "end of moores law".
Shouldn't that be ~750x more efficient? Also a bit fairer to compare it to gen 1 Avalons, so ~140x more efficient.

Is there a similar thread for the 2014 calendar year? Not finding anything on google.
he hasnt calculated the taxes for that year as yet For 2014? Surely all the deadlines have gone. I assume he's just busy and / or didn't feel like posting it but wanted to check if I missed a thread.

Nobody is going to admit if they have alt accounts for a number of reasons
Mostly because they're used for nefarious purposes. I do think more work should be done to identify and track alts, there is so much thread manipulation in some of the subforums that it turns them into a trash heap. One account bear'ing it up and 10 more accounts by the same dude backing them up immediately. And as history dictates, some people really do dedicate their time to alt-ing.

We are in talks with them.
Let us know what you find out please Is he talking about bitfury or innosilicon? BitFury. One day this industry will get by without NDAs. Bitfury has been screaming to the world about their chips so we already know their specs, and the technical information can in large parts be reverse engineered the second any OEM boards are shipped. The prices and sales conditions are something that funamendally should never be NDAed and its a sign of bad things. There's no good tweeting you want 2MB blocks when you're simultaneously keeping people quiet. [For the record I was asked to sign an invalid NDA with Spondoolies, a gentleman's NDA with Bitmain, and nothing with any other company.] But then you don't design and sell machines, so why would most companies require an NDA for you? In short it depends on the information being shared.. Spondoolies so they could share why their SP3X chips were under-performing in the first batch and Bitmain so that they know if confidential information or designs were leaked to other companies they'd be covered against anyone who could leak it (I wrote most of it). Everyone else I work with operates/ed under the honor system. I'd turn it around and say what do Bitfury hope to hide under the NDA? - Chip availability? Well, its not as if anyone can react to a trillion PH being put on the network, you're either in the game or not.
- Chip prices? ... Terrible for all, you can't even be sure if they're charging you more than the next man because they can.
- Chip specs? ... We know them.
- Chip documentation? ... Should be published with the devices anyway. How can the OEMs properly support their products if they've got to keep half the architecture a secret from the end user.

Will hit the market in March
That's a lot of sleeps away for industrial pricing, quite a gamble for the OEMs.

Theymos isn't the big boss here?... I say, i'm sure he can "track" the IP of that newbie account, and find his alt in the forum.
*Cough* VPNs *Cough* Proxies *Cough* Tor Do you want me to have asthma? While the program of this forum may not be able to penetrate VPNs, Proxies and Tor for personal data. It may be saved on the session of that VPN/Proxy. Unsure of how Tor operates, but, I believe it may work in a similar way. Are you suggesting what I think you are suggesting? Because it sounds like theymos should get a court order for everyone that connects via VPN or Proxy to get the IP from their log files (if they log files). With Tor its next to impossible due to the way it works, contact the exit node does not help you. You need to control the entry point and the exit point No! I am merely suggesting that you can track session times and responses. Court orders may not be required (he could pay companies to get this information as he will not get a court order for this without evidence. The government don't run off a "get warrent now, court proceedings about it later")Well, you say that but....

My take on the latest press release: - They generated ~1800btc last calendar year = very roughly $700k
- They have approximately $400k of hardware @0.2$/GH
- This hardware is generating $3500 a day at a cost of $1300 a day
- They're paying an investment banking firm to help them uplist their broke ass company to a major exchange (xD)
- They expect to mine just 600 bitcoins in 16Q1
- They can no longer claim 1700% growth from nearly nothing to > nearly nothing
ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - Jan 12, 2016) - BTCS Inc. (OTCQB: BTCS) ("BTCS" or the "Company"), a blockchain technology focused company which secures the blockchain through its transaction verification services business, generated 1,797 bitcoins for the year ended December 31, 2015 from its transaction verification services, an increase of 3,389% over total bitcoins earned in 2014.
"While we are pleased to report significant percentage growth in bitcoins earned during 2015, the real story of our success over the past year is the strong foundation we built for our business moving forward," stated Charles Allen, CEO of BTCS. "Our refined operational focus on blockchain technologies has led to a rapid build-out of capacity at our North Carolina facility, and with our definitive merger with Spondoolies-Tech Ltd. now in place, we are well-positioned for continued growth in 2016."
The Company's recently completed round of financing has enabled it to grow its transaction verification business to approximately 1800 TH/s, an increase of more than 100% compared to the 891 TH/s in place through most of 2015. Operating at the increased hash rate the Company will use approximately 0.95 megawatts ("mw") of its 3mw capacity.
Allen continued, "With the transaction verification servers we are running today, we believe we are on track to generate over 600 bitcoins in the first quarter of 2016. The remaining unused capacity we have in place provides ample room for planned growth with minimal added expense as we pursue a substantial financing with the goal of uplisting to a major exchange."
The Company engaged Chardan Capital Markets, LLC, a privately held investment banking firm with a focus on small-cap and mid-cap markets, to advise the Company on potential transactions that could lead to an up listing on a major exchange.
The additional capital expected to be raised from a future offering will enable BTCS to further capitalize on the significant opportunity within the growing blockchain technology space. Recently heralded in a cover story in The Economist for its potential to "transform how the economy works," blockchain technologies are forecasted to impact nearly every industry that relies on safe and secure transactions.

Remote hosting is intrinsically risky and there isn't a way around it other than escrowed $/btc for the value of hardware held.

Should be okay then, its sitting there idle with messed up network settings. The SD card should fix it.

Please advise!
Is it restarting every 2-3 minutes (you'd hear it)? Any luck with the recovery SD card?

Ok but what about other people's? You didnt answer that half DOX is allowed because it is a collection of publicly available information.
And when its not nothing happens to the person. If the reason behind posting someone elses DOX is just to troll the person, then it is most likely going to be removed.
And yet no other dox but Theymos' has ever been removed (other than that lawyers'). If you spam the same DOX in a lot of places/via multiple accounts then it will most likely be removed and you would be punished.
And yet that doesn't happen. Its one thing to keep stating these rules but they're just not being enforced, unless its a staff member's dox...

I can't see anything in the last gen on their site, what were you looking to buy? They've had more than mixed results in 2015.

Tell me, do you think Bitmain would hear the reasoning on PCIe and wiring specs if these boards would have only had 2x PCIe plugs melted to them instead of 3, regardless of whether or not it would have made a difference? (Hint: I'm aware it wouldn't have made a difference, except in the denial of warranty)
What you've posted was clearly not caused by the PCI-E connectors so.................................................................. Yeah now I remember it was mostly you that was flipping your shit, because you wanted to sell more of your $60 breakout boards and $4 PCI-E cables. Anyway, back to the actual topic of the thread.... Its crazy how short everyone's memory is. When I suggested you could run the S7 off 4 PCI-E (~275W) everyone shit their pants, even though that's exactly what they'd already been doing for years.
