Not sure this worked as intended.

Depth 0 is DefaultTrust
Depth 1 is Tomatocage
Depth 2 is Tomatocage1
So any trust ratings Tomatocage1 does doesn't really do anything.

If I understand the purpose of this thread, he basically have updated his trust list (removed & addedd some users). This is his actual (correct me if I am wrong):

Yes that's correct. What I was saying though is there is in effect no cascade. Being trusted by a tier 2 is the same as not being trusted, it makes no difference within default DefaultTrust. The error has come because TC thought he was Depth 0 but is in fact Depth 1. All users will show themselves as Depth 0 in their own lists as its assumed a user trusts themselves, but globally will be Depth 1 or lower. Only "DefaultTrust" is Depth 0.

Also note that Matthew Carson recommended Dogie be used in a number of projects in these forums.

That's a reflection on you not me, he was working for your company. "I hired a scammer now I'm blaming everyone else" > "Someone said something good about me".
1524  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4+ Discussion and Support Thread on: May 31, 2015, 03:49:49 PM
Nice to see a bigger unit come about however that power ratio in UK would not even RIO on machine from generation of coins minted to cost of about £0.14 per KWH With the massive spikes in diff and no doubt bigger spikes when these units are about and online it will kill any profit made from them. If the power was half the use of what it is now and having to use a 1600w psu  and reduced down to 700 would be a massive improvement. Think going to wait for next gen of  chips to come out for that to happen.

Your power costs are insane, I'm paying £0.089 inc tax.
1525  Other / Meta / Re: Nominate (insert name here) to the default trust list on: May 31, 2015, 02:55:14 PM

THIS is the very reason why I dont support the 'Trust system' any random motherfudger can come & create a baseless accusation and the accused would have to spend days trying to repair his image or at least explain to every damn moron that believes the accusation.

This.

No baseless accusations has ever endure for long. IRL, you will have to do the same.

*ahem* 10 months *ahem*
1526  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S5 Setup [HD] on: May 31, 2015, 12:32:31 PM
Oh looks like it does have 4PCI-e connectors, but it seems like on amazon it says it has only 2 :/

http://www.corsair.com/en/cx-series-cx750m-modular-atx-power-supply-750-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-psu

Yes its 4, the Amazon listing has been bugged for a loooong time. Definitely 4 on the CX750M over 2 cable rails.
1527  Other / Meta / Re: Lost a long post again on: May 31, 2015, 11:35:04 AM
Next time, press the back button. The post should re-appear. Then copy it and paste it in a new (refreshed) reply page.

This thing works only in Chrome. I just tried it on Mozilla and unfortunately it failed to re-appear.

Yup. Pisses me off so much in Firefox, seriously why would I want to clear the page I was just interacting with...

If you want to write a long post you can do so in notepad ++, it autosaves every 5 seconds or so.
1528  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JOSHUA ZIPKINS THE MAN WHO DDOS'd BTCTALK!!!! on: May 31, 2015, 02:26:36 AM
His social security number being posted was mainly just a way to prove the person had private information noone else had.
That's some pretty terrible logic then. "Here is a string of numbers no one else has, in order to verify the information." By the virtue of having information no one else has, no one else can verify it.
1529  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: my c1 sprung a leak on: May 31, 2015, 12:58:00 AM
found that its one of the black plugs on the bottom on the end.

I don't understand what that is referring to, can you take a picture please?
1530  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 30, 2015, 12:17:51 PM
4 hrs after power up a second chip began hashing.

5.5 hrs after that a 3rd has come online.

What settings are you running? Someone else reported similar when starting voltage was too low, the chips would get stuck in a loop trying to initialise.
1531  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What hardware to buy with $500K. Can you get 16NM or 20NM ASICs? on: May 30, 2015, 11:26:44 AM
I have a feeling it would be a lot more work to assemble a working rig if one were to drop a few hundred grand
You'll need somebody well versed in electronics design (digital and analog) to actually design that PCB for you.  Even if you take an open source design (e.g. Avalon - SFARDS has also released detailed schematics and have a dev kit), there's little reason to think you could manufacture cheaper than the source.  You'd be cutting out operational overhead, mostly.

You could turn up with $10M in cash and still be behind for the next (upcoming) generation, almost everyone company is going for it.
1532  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I no longer work for Butterfly Labs (BFL) on: May 30, 2015, 11:16:43 AM
bcp19, do you work for Butterfly Labs ?
Yep, started there last Sept, it was bound to come out at some point.  PG can confirm it.  Beyond that, a lot of nibbknot's statement is completely false.  Since you tin-foil hat types will believe his/her lies, I won't waste my breath.

It's been proven that he still lurks using one of his many sockpuppets.

No? Its 4 months ago, and 6 months after the quoted message. GG was right originally.
1533  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: UK Mining Colocation on: May 30, 2015, 06:47:05 AM
Would you not have to have a business set up with proper paper work?  I would think most fall under personal use, that they don't have a mining business to reclaim it with.

Also I would think that brings in taxes, and other things.  Forgive me I'm a vat idiot.  But is it true if for personal use you would not be able to reclaim it?

A business is not the same as a company, but yes you'll have to register for self assessment at the least. If you were mining for personal use then you would not be able to reclaim the VAT on that activity, no.

Very interesting, I am not use to VAT so appears I could be off.  With this "business" does it open you up to taxes or other fees?

As a company, yes. As an individual, yes (just different ones). Even if you were mining for 'personal use' its a taxable income, albeit probably one below thresholds that would have you actually pay tax.

I don't think you understand the difference between public "personal" information and private information.

You're right, I don't. Why don't you point out the rule specifying what info is prohibited?

Q: What about deleting DOXes?
A: Nope, we don't delete them

There is something more recent that says they'll delete SSNs. I think it was with the Josh subpoena thread if anyone wants to dig that up.

As this is a non serious thread and its been misunderstood by at least half of people, can we get a [non-serious] tag in the title please?

I had only seen topic that supposedly included information about theymos being removed.

I served a 45 day ban for posting Theymos' dox located on the blockchain. AMA.

What were the contents of the dox, name, address, SSN etc?

I think the hard part will be vat/import tax. I believe UK has this in tight ROI margins this does also make a difference.

Also what is your electricity price?   I think UK is high on it a lot to.

VAT is irrelevent for a business as its reclaimed. Elec prices are high compared to average US but there are some cheaper spots even in residential. I pay ~13c.

- Changes/deletions to trust ratings and settings are currently not saved.

Probably a good idea to start recording those.
