6061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 11, 2019, 02:25:05 AM
With 7 wins and 1 lose from 8 games Los Angeles Lakers will face Toronto Raptors with 6 wins and 2 loses in 8 games, it will be an exciting game to watch, the NBA champion will face the best team in this season and I expect the game will be soo hard for both teams. In my opinion Lakers will win this game and show the Raptors who's the boss, I will bet for Lakers to win this game.

Lakers all the way! Raptors may also have had a good run this start of the season but I guess they are mismatched with the current line-up of the Lakers.

Clippers! Kawhi all the way hehe!

However, it might be close on the 1st half. The +5.5 might be enough to cover for the Raptors to win a bet hehehe. But the whole game will be different because of King James phobia hehe.
6062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: November 11, 2019, 02:11:06 AM
@Baofeng. He will disprove the Mexican. Andy's new tacoless diet might be a mistake hehe. He might be faster, however, he might lose some of his power.

He might also faint because of hunger hehehe.
6063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: November 11, 2019, 12:48:11 AM
Looks like I'm the only one going for the Browns here, I think they get the job done later today and I'm also confident that they cover the -2.5 spread so I took that in a single bet. For my parlay I got the Browns ML, Ravens ML, Bucs ML, Saints ML and Giants ML. Two games are a risk in the Browns and Giants but I think they can both win and add some value to my parlay. Good luck with your bets!

I voted for the Bills on the poll, I bet the 1st half -1.5 for the Browns however hehehe.

@Hueristic. Pick the Cowboys to win 1st half hehe.

In any case, MVP candidate will play tomorrow hehehe.
6064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculating with Tom Lee on: November 10, 2019, 02:20:11 AM
Tom Lee's lost Chinese brother Bobby is more bullish than him! He should also offer to eat sensitive body parts similar to John McAfee hehehe.

In any case, I speculate another dump in 2 weeks.

Bobby Lee, who was at the helm of the world’s oldest cryptocurrency exchange BTCC, thinks there are brighter days ahead for bitcoin. Lee cited that in the coming years, bitcoin is likely to reach the elusive million-dollar mark. He offered the outlook while at the Malta AIBC summit even as bitcoin remains somewhat bearish in the near-term.

Lee expects new waves in the coming years that will drive the price to the six-figure region and eventually cross to $1 million per bitcoin.

6065  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-11-03] Bitcoin YTD Performance Exceeds 140%, Outperforms Most Traditional on: November 10, 2019, 01:30:23 AM
It acts like a manipulated penny stock for an asset priced so high.
Poor liquidity. It's helping Bitcoin to get pumped through the roof, but at the same time also subjects people to nasty 80-90% pullbacks. We all like the part where the price pumps, but when it dumps it really really sucks.

During the next bull run I'll be selling a large portion of what I own, probably 40-50% because I firstly don't think there is much potential left after that, and the fact that I don't want to go through an 80-90% correction again with full bags.

Poor liquidity would indeed make trading easier to manipulate, however, bitcoin's liquidity is in billions. It should be hard to manipulate, unless exchanges' reports are fake or the liquidity is on leverage.
6066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: November 09, 2019, 02:49:10 AM
I’m really looking forward to this fight, I expect & hope that Joshua will avenge his surprise defeat from the first bout. Ruiz caught a complacent Joshua, I don’t think AJ will make the same mistakes again.

Looking at the odds, it's obvious that the odd makers will see Joshua as the winner, even though Ruiz defeated him in the first fight.

Could be Joshua is over confident and complacent that he can defeat Ruiz easily and look for the next fight and that his mistakes. But I think this is going to be an exciting fight, Ruiz is really vent on proving that his win is for real and not a fluke as Joshua's camp is trying to portray.

Andy Ruiz wants to prove, however, Anthony Joshua might have also trained harder to disprove. I am waiting for the millions of Mexicans to bet on their fighter to improve Joshua's odds hehehe.
6067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: November 09, 2019, 02:22:46 AM
New poll up.

[253] BUFFALO
[254] CLEVELAND

Browns have zero votes so far (0-4).
I was one of the few who backed the Eagles to win in Buffalo, the only one who went with Steelers last week, but hell i'm not spending a single penny on the Browns. At this point in the season, they're just the complete wreck of a team. So many things have to go to perfect for them to even have a chance against Buffalo and even so, Freddie Kitchens might screw things up with his dumb playcalling and poor/newbie game managing skills. Browns will lose again!

However, there might be something that we have overlooked that the sportsbooks know. Why would they open the Browns as the -2.5 favorites? They might begin turning their season around hehehe!

Browns was strong in the 1st half, on their home stadium versus the Sea Hawks and the Rams. Bet 1st half -1.5?

Some funny images I saw from that tweet shared by Reid  Grin
Sorry I cut the image to minimize some kb's worth for the forum.
I never saw that, maybe you went deeper in twitter. Grin

Clippers are plying it smart imo. They are not risking their best players health while giving chance to others in their team to step up. It's working for them so far and this strategy will benefit them come playoff time.

I have some new opinions here.
Do some of you think that it is Kawhi who demanded this kind of strategy?

I dont know why I have thought of that but I think because it was done for him by the Raptors so he got spoiled and want the same thing in Clippers.
Tell me, if I am crazy or something?  Grin

I already said in my post yesterday that the Clippers might be following the 2019 Raptors formula of winning a championship. The Clippers will not show their real strength before the playoffs, I reckon. Why would they risk missing their best players on injury?
6069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 09, 2019, 01:36:00 AM
Nate has retired. Is this another scam from Nate and with the secret support from Dana? The skeptical me would say yes hehehe. I predict Nate will come back within 3 years for another MMA pump and dump.
“F**k a rematch this shit was over before it started. I’m goin on out on tour. Peace out fight game,” Diaz wrote.
Nate Diaz only wants big money fights and with the loss the only big fight he will be getting is the rematch between Conor McGregor and it all depends upon when Conor is planning to come back to fight again, Diaz made a lot of money and he will run out and will come back to fight again.

I reckon Nate should be careful. After his loss to Jorge Masvidal his popularity might also run out. Conor might not want to fight him anymore if Conor becomes the top star in UFC again.
6070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: November 08, 2019, 02:35:27 AM
Clippers playing back to back at home, they fall short today because Leonard was not allowed to play but he will be back against the Blazers.
Line now is Clippers -5 against the Blazers, does taking the Clippers here a good decision?

I would bet the 1st half -2.5. The Clippers might be tired and might lose the 2nd half, I reckon.

It also appears that the Clippers has not shown the real strength of their team yet. They might be copying the 2019 Toronto Raptors formula? Expect more load management hehehe.

@Naida_BR. Did you watch the Clippers 2nd half? Also with Kahwi played only the 1st half, the Clippers would win.

@Texacha. To be a mimblewimble store of value by copying bitcoin's limited supply and adopting its moon math? This is not what makes a stable store of value, it is what makes a volatile cryptocoin for speculation.

Yup, it is the recipe for a P&D scamcoin.

Also, creating the organization of the coin similar to Zcash with the institutional investors and the tax per block makes it appear that Beam is more for creation of profit than an opensource project.

What would occur after the tax per block has ended? Developers and the institutional investors leave the project rich?
6073  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [2019-10-06] Leading crypto exchange to freeze US customer accounts on: November 08, 2019, 01:04:29 AM
@Kakmakr. It might be a promotional article with a clickbait title to promote their new exchange for Americans hehehe. Give the readers panic and a relief all in 1 article hehe.

In any case, why the slim chance if Huobi US would have similar listed coins?
6074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: November 07, 2019, 04:04:37 AM
@Cryptotourist. You say you blame yourself, however, you certainly appear to be blaming the developers. If you understood and accepted Grin's monetary policy from the beginning you also would be waiting for $0.50 hehehe.

@Bitcoin_Mafia_Me. Clickbait title. You did not include the part of the article with the good news. Huobi US will be online and continue to serve its American customers hehe. There was no date declared, however.

new home for Huobi Global’s U.S. customers

Huobi Global isn’t cutting its U.S. customers completely adrift, however.

Displaced U.S. customers are being invited to move their trading activities to the exchange’s U.S.-based strategic partner, Huobi US.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Huobi US is operated by HBUS Holdco, Inc.

The Bucks might win. Kawhi will not play again because of load management according to some articles, however, other news articles say that he has an injury. What is the real story? Fake injury hehehe?

The Clippers might be breaking players resting policy if it is load management.
6078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: November 06, 2019, 03:52:04 AM
I shake my head. You blame the developers? Maybe you did not understand the purpose of Grin's monetary policy. Sorry if you have held everything you bought from the beginning, however, I warned you many times.

Dude, I don't blame anybody else but myself.
In fact I don't even blame myself. This is fine. Roll Eyes
It's a very small part of my holdings, so I'm gonna be alright, no matter what Grin does or not in the future.

I was genuinely asking if you know something that we don't - based on what you said just before.

I know nothing Jon Snow hehehe. I only know what the monetary policy is for and I can only speculate on what might occur.
6079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone loses four Bitcoin on the Lightning Network on: November 06, 2019, 01:51:45 AM
It was negligence and I reckon everyone can agree that the Lightning network is not for everyone. Avoid it if you are a person who is not smart enough to operate it.
6080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 06, 2019, 01:28:44 AM
@spadormie. Are you certain that there will be a 50/50 chance? The odds the sportsbooks are offering is telling us another story hehehe.

Also, this fight, similar to Tyson Wilder's last fight shows how broken boxing as a sport is.
